It is a decent hotel for just a one-night stay. We booked the last room of this hotel, and unfortunately, we probably got the worst one.

Our room was supposed to be two twins or one queen..but the two beds we got didn’t match. It was one tiny double (they called it a European Queen) and a twin bed. We couldn’t push the two beds together, so we had to squeeze into the double bed. We are pretty slim, but it was still very uncomfortable. The room was also an ADA-accessible room, so the design was not optimal for someone that didn’t require assistance. Lastly, I noticed no mini fridge or AC (we didn’t need it).

The receptionist was friendly, but no one was there at 8 am when we checked out. We didn’t pay extra for breakfast, but the dining room looked lovely. Parking was free on the street overnight (till 8 am). The hotel (with an elevator) felt historic and grand, but we didn’t get that same experience in our room.

I loved the charm of this property! Great location. Be sure to reserve the spa/sauna ahead of time, and know that it comes at an additional fee. Very, very friendly and accommodating staff! Would definitely stay here again!

The place has a wonderful and refreshing old world charm. The room was spacious. Candles burning in lanterns on the ataircase added to the atmosphere. Breakfast was very casual and of good quality. The only drawback was the shower which could not easily be used without flooding the bathroom floor. Service from staff was topnotch.

Meeting Polish Family!

This hotel has an old-world feel about it, but the amenities are modern and clean. I was travelling by train from Gdansk and arrived later than a sibling. Hotel staff were contacted prior to ensure check-in was provided to my sibling and this went without a hitch. Staff friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile.
Hotel is close to train station and shopping centres. Very easy to get around Katowice from this hotel. Rooms were of a reasonable size and beds were comfortable. It was a little warm of an evening and we were able to open windows for fresh air and a comfortable nights sleep.
Breakfast was included in our booking and this was excellent, with a variety of food available and helpful staff to serve. We stayed 5 nights and would recommend for singles, couples and families. Would stay again!

5 Nights of Comfort!

Was here for 5 nights with family, but booked a room for myself separately. The room was spacious with a lovely old-world charm, but bathroom was updated and very clean. There was an airconditioner, but no control to use it. It probably would have been provided had I requested it, but didn't need it. Staff were very accommodating and check-in and check-out was smooth and hassle-free.
Hired a car for two nights and was able to park car at the hotel for small fee (10PLN per night). Our booking included free breakfast and it was well worth it. The range of food available was good and again staff helpful and courteous.
Hotel is very close to train station and there is a Galleria (shopping centre) very close by if you want to purchase sundry items. Very convenient location for seeing Katowice.
Would recommend this hotel for singles, couples and families - extended stay is good! Would book again.

We arrived at gone 1am. No problems parking the car (I''d reserved a space at a small cost per day) friendly greeting - spoke excellent English.
Very good breakfast included in the very reasonable price of our double room (£40 per night). Room spotlessly clean with en-suite.
Excellent location - short walk to the centre and train station.
Would definitely stay again.

Lovely Hotel

Lovely hotel. We had a really big room with nice furnishings. The bathroom with a spa bath was brilliant after a day of sightseeing. All the staff but especially on Reception were very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast room was spacious, quick efficient service for a cooked breakfast and everything else you might want to eat. Hotel is close to the town centre so handy for the railway/bus stations. Highly recommended.

Horrible place, rude and lazy staff

Horrible. Wouldn't stay there again if they paid me.
Firstly, in a description of the hotel says there's a lift. So I booked it as a mum travelling alone with a baby (and a pushchair!) But no one mentioned there are around 15 steps before you get to the lift so I had to carry the pushchair up and down few times a day on my own.
And from there we can go to the staff: young girls/women were sat at the reception every single time I was walking out and not even once during my whole stay anyone asked if they could maybe help with the pushchair or or least to hold the massive and heavy door for me. There was always one woman behind the desk and it's just a few steps from the door and stairs and not even one moved from behind the desk to help, even when I was with my visiting me almost 85 years old grandmother, she was helping me but young women did not even ask if we are OK.
Cleaner were rude and didn't do their job properly. When I was coming back from breakfast on the 11th of November (bank holiday in poland) they asked me if I require cleaning and when I said yes please just a little bit later becasue I need to get my baby dressed and sorted they replied, and I quote, \"what do you mean later, later when, we want to go home early today\".
Room looked clean when I first walked in but just after few minutes my little girl started crawling and she was almost black! Under the bed was at least 5cm dust and some old tissues, no one bothered to clean it. I could go on and on.

Very good hotel, quiet area short walk to centre

Excellent front desk staff. Own private free parking. Large comfortable room and bed. Complimentary water. Great breakfast. Short walk to the station, shopping centre and restaurants. All round very good, better if had own restaurant.

Only advice would be to light up the hotel sign at the front, as I arrived in the dark and although it's close to the centre area / station it's in quite a quiet and drab street and I passed it twice before spotting it. If the sign was lit, this wouldn't have been a problem.

This hotel is not much to look at from the outside, but the rooms are spacious and elegant. The bathroom is modern and includes extra amenities. Fine breakfast included. Secure parking for a nominal fee. Short walks from train station. Best of all is a superb Hungarian restaurant just across the street. Incredibly modestly priced for all it has to offer.

Single 'beds' way too small

Nice lil place but they gave me a room with 2 Very small beds. Ridiculous that Any hotel still uses such small cheap beds. It is more like military 'cot' than a proper bed. Also the walls are paper this so can hear everyone out in hallway.

Vi skulle blot bruge en overnatning og fandt hotellet til en fin pris. Ingen aircon gjorde opholdet lidt svært. Godt placering med gåafstand ned til et rigtig fedt område med udendørskaffehus, restauranter mm. Der er ikke mulighed for at vaske tøj på hotellet selv om hotels.com skilter med dette

Gammeldags hotell. Hadde to connecting rom og det var ganske bra. Rensligheten var så som så. Fant masse hår på senga som absolutt ikke var mitt. Frokosten var helt grei.
Veldig stiv pris for såkalte spa, vi benyttet oss ikke av det. Tror nok jeg går for ett annet hotell neste gang.

Bardzo przyjemny hotel.Z dworca można dojść na piechotę w 5 minut.Do centrum(spodek itd) też spokojnie na piechotę w 20 min.Lokalizacja jest dużym plusem,Parking hotelowy zamykany,płatny,ale dobrze,że w ogóle jest.Łóżka wygodne,można się wyspać,Bardzo cicho.Okolica spokojna.To na plus
Na minus-brak wieszaków w łazience,co było dość uciązliwe na dłuższą metę.Brak jakiegoś miejsca ogólnodostępnego,gdzie można by było wieczorem usiąść na godzinkę i napić się wina albo z kimś spotkać(miałam pokój bez aneksu kuchennego).Wszystkie okoliczne knajpki zamykają o 23 i życie zamiera,Coś takiego by się na pewno przydało,ale i bez tego hotel jest wart polecenia.

Tres bel hôtel plutôt bien situé à quelques centaines de mètres de l’hyper centre de Katowice. Le personnel est agréable et à votre écoute. Les chambres sont propres. L’hôtel est beaucoup plus grand qu’il en a l’air extérieurement.
Le seul problème est que la description de l’Appartement Deluxe sur Hotels.com est fausse car elle annonce une salle de bain avec bain à remous mais l’hôtel à deux Appartement Deluxe et un seul a cette option. Celui que j’ai eu n’avais qu’une simple douche et comme l’autre était pris je n’ai pas pu changer. Et malheureusement il y avait eu une inondation au sous-sol pendant mon séjour donc le spa était fermé. Ça a été une grosse déception mais ce n’est bien sûr pas la faute de l’hôtel.

Friendly staff at reception, but be aware that at night not Always their position (so better you take the key with you when out). In the city but need to walk 5-10 mins to be in the right centre)

Auch im frostigen Winter angenehme Wärme, schöne, gepflegte Zimmer.
Das Hotel hat lediglich einen Frühstücksraum, was aber nicht weiter störend ist, denn der Innenstadt ist in nur 5-10 Gehminuten erreichbar. Vielleicht sicherer, aber etwas merkwürdig ist, dass der Gast grundsätzlich klingeln muss, um hereingelassen zu werden, die Zimmerkarte allein gewährt keinen Zugang.
Ich wurde beim Check-in um die Kreditkarte gebeten zwecks Authorisierung. Eigentlich kein ungewöhnlicher Vorgang. In meinem Fall hat aber das Hotel gleich am nächsten Tag auch die Zahlung in Euro vorgenommen, ohne meine Zustimmung. Doppelt ärgerlich ist, dass die Zahlung in Euro zu einem erheblich schlechteren Wechselkurs erfolgt, als in Zloty. Am besten die Sache gleich beim Check-in ansprechen und klären.
Dennoch empfehle ich das Hotel in der Hoffnung, dass aus diesem Fehler gelernt wird.

Wir waren für ein paar Tage in Katowitz zu Besuch und haben uns für dieses Hotel entschieden,da es auch preislich passte. Das Hotel liegt Zentrumsnahe. Wir haben viel Fussläufig besuchen können. Abgesperrter Parkplatz im Hof vorhanden. Frühstück war sehr lecker und vielseitig. Schöne und gemütliche Zimmer. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir werden bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Polen wieder dieses Hotel buchen.

Gute Wahl für 1-2 Übernachtungen in Kattowitz

Relativ günstig zum Zentrum und Bahnhof gelegenes Hotel. Zimmer etwas „ plüschig ´´ aber insgesamt schön und sauber. Relativ neues Mobiliar, Bad ebenfalls neuwertig. Frühstück gut, ausgezeichneter Kaffee aus schweizer Topkaffeemaschine. Frühstückraum etwas ungemütlich.

Bra och rymligt lägenhetshotell i ett lugnt område. Innergård med parkering omgiven av vinrankor. Sängarna var sköna, tyvärr bara ett täcke så en av oss fick frysa. Ingen luftkonditionering men fläkt så lite luft fick vi in i alla fall. Bra frukost och trevlig personal.

Das Hotel ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Zum Innenhof sind die Zimmer sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, auf Wunsch gibt es frische Eiergerichte. Die Innenstadt ist in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Parken kann man im abgeschlossenen Innenhof.

Highly recommend hotel

Room is spacious, clean, close to train station. Most important, the staffs are the best, I left my wallet in room under pillow and it has been stored safety until I went back to pick up. Really appreciated all staffs and warm place to stay beside home.
