Enjoyed the outdoor pool area. Very relaxing under the pergola. Free Breakfast was good and helped start the day without having to search for a restaurant. Good location. Area is secure, key card for access felt safe. Quite rooms. No King beds but Queen was comfortable. Nice to have the kitchenette for snacks. Free parking close to LA airport. Early check-in for a price of $25.00.

My family and I recently stayed at Sonesta ES Suites Torrance Redondo Beach with my wife and our 11-month-old baby. This was our first time taking our baby to Los Angeles, and we wanted the trip to be something special and memorable for our family.

The hotel looks nice in pictures and even appears nice when you first arrive. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.

The biggest issue was cleanliness. We found ants and cockroaches in our original room, which is completely unacceptable—especially when traveling with a baby. As parents, you worry about your child crawling on the floor or touching things. Seeing pests in the room made us feel uncomfortable and stressed during what was supposed to be a special trip.

To their credit, the staff did help us move to a new room after we reported the issue. However, even in the second room, we still found ants. While I appreciate that they tried to accommodate us, the fact that the problem continued made it clear that this was not just an isolated issue.

When you book a stay for your family, you expect a clean and safe environment. Sadly, that was not our experience. In my opinion, this place may be more suitable for a single person who just needs somewhere to sleep, but it is not ideal for families with young children.

Because of the pest problem, I would not stay here again. It’s very disappointing that what was meant to be a memorable first

I loved and enjoyed my stay. Also the room service lady (Veronica) was amazing and super kind that went above and beyond!! I would love for her to get recognized for what an amazing employee she is! I've stayed Sonesta es multiple times and she has always done a fantastic job! She takes pride in her work and has the room(s) looking spotless. The breakfast was delicious the property is well kept and I always have a good night's sleep when I stay here. Highly recommend.

So I like going to the Celesta because I usually love cooking when I rent rooms here. But on the particular night that I stayed the aisles in the kitchen were not working. So I couldn’t cook this time. I went back to the front desk and notified them of the problem. They did nothing to fix it.

Awsome location and Awsome staff workers . Beautiful landscaping and pool . The units seems recently remodeled but size of mattresses and comfort is HORRIBLE compared with so many hotels . Couch also horrible comfort so hard on your back. The auto light switch in bathroom shouldn’t be there since while you shower the lights goes off luckily I didn’t get hurt while showering in the dark and while to attempt to turn the light back on I was super disappointed. Breakfast is always the same food everyday it should have varieties of different foods. We spent 6 nights and the whole time of my stay the unit below us occupants 2 guys and a lady would smoke marijuana ( weed) through out the whole day and night so we had to keep the windows closed because of the terrible smell. One of the most things I love about California is the weather and this time
I couldn’t leave my windows open because of the smell from drugs. So overall I love this place isn’t my first time staying with you guys but those things wasn’t only me complaining. Have a great day

Your staff at the es sonesta suites on prairie in Torrance/Redondo bch,is not very comforting,or have any compassion for their guests,room not clean for me,never vacuumed (I bring my own vacuum)the toilet whistle Everytime you flush,porch spills or pet urine,had to wash down,no fitted sheet(flat sheet instead of fitted)
Only 3 bath towels ,when I asked for clean towels,didn't get until the folllowing day at 1030am ,ck out 11am(Sarah was working,has a attitude with me ,calling my room hassling me about how many towels I have,drilling me on the exact # they took from my room!!!

My check in experience wasn’t great. I had to wait in line for a long time. Then they helped 3 other people who didn’t even wait in line and just approached the front desk. 2 staff ended up helping 1 customer standing behind me instead of helping me first. I find that very rude. There’s also a 3rd staff who showed this customer her room so 3 staff helping her -she must be a super VIP customer for 3 staff to help her. I felt i had no value and they didn’t care about my presence.
I came back to this property because I really like it but the staff needs better customer service.

This hotel is like an apartment complex and has fulltime/longterm guests. It was noisy and weed smoky all nite. Parking lot was full of beaters and was hard to find a spot. Spacious room that was poorly cleaned and the sheets and blankets were tattered with holes. Breakfast was below average and hard to get because the space is very small and filled with lots of tenants.

The hotel is excellent. Esp. because the two bedroom suite truly provides two separate bedrooms with doors to the living room. We're pleasantly surprised that there were two separate full bathrooms too! Very clean and comfortable. The only drawback is there are a bit of noises at night due to the traffic passing by a nearby road. Staff was helpful and nice. Breakfast was simple but good enough.

I love Sonesta Suites. This one especially nice. Really loved it. Not sure how they could pass ADA regulations with no elevators with three floors. So would not recommend for anyone with physical challenges. A little close to oil refineries.
