I hadn't been here for 12 yrs, the property is run down. The elevators not working and we had to carry out luggage up stairs. Had to request another room and more expensive instead of them accommodating us. We had visitors who live in area and were unable to come to our suite. They weren't staying the night.. I'm disappointed also fast pass used to be included was quoted $35 one day and at check it they quoted $40. Counter staff said i wouldn't need it at time of my departure and big mistake!! Buy the darn pass..we waited 3 hours to cross border We left earlier due to noisy rowdy ppl staying next to us.

The staff from check in to check out is first rate. Everyone smiling, and treating the guests like old friends. The Coronado tower, room 707, was clean and the view was incredible. The room and some areas of the hotel are in need of renovation, which is probably a constant for a beach front hotel. We wish they would have coffee in the room, and a few more amenities to make the stay perfect. All in all, I would definitely stay there again. It’s worth the price.

Las camas muy incomodas y duras, la habitación en general todo muy viejo, el W/C tapado y la regardera igual, con mucho olor a drenaje.
El ruido de la gente es horrendo, pareciera que estan dentro de tu cuarto hablando o gritando.

Al parecer solo rentan las Torres viejas y considero que para el precio que tienen No lo vale! Definitivamente no descanzas!

We encountered unexpected heavy traffic on the way there, which delayed our arrival until approximately 12:30 a.m. I attempted to call the property multiple times but did not receive any response. According to their website, check-in ends at 6:00 p.m. Since I was unable to reach anyone for clarification, I decided not to cross the border that night and planned to arrive the following day.

Upon arrival, I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled because I booked through Expedia and did not check in (even though the reservation was for two nights, Friday and Saturday). I was also told that someone is available for check-in 24/7. As a result, I had no choice but to book a room directly with the property. The staff were really nice and helpful. I just wish the website was to reflect the 24/7 service.

A suite in the Pacifico Tower is like a small apartment. We were on the 14th floor with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and Rosarito Beach. The room was clean and everything worked. We needed extra pillows for our king size bed and the staff brought them up right away. However, some of the details that we have become used to were missing. One tiny little bottle of shampoo for two people and no conditioner. The full kitchen didn’t have any sharp knives for food preparation. Also no paper towels, sponge or dish soap to wash the nice collection of real dishes. So mixed feelings with both a fantastic location, and apartment, but a scarcity mentality when it comes to some of the details.

The hotel lobby, ballroom, bar area and spa are architectural treasures that should not be missed. We had a first floor suite in the tower. Unfortunately, it was very much in need of a total renovation. Everything was sort of dingy, the couch was completely worn out, the bedspread was old, and the enamel in the sink was cracked. It was somewhat sad to have the common areas in the hotel be so delightful and historic, and the room so disappointing. It was very cold the days we were there so I cannot rate the pool at all. The beach is lovely, and the walkability is top notch. If they rehab the rooms, it would be an A-plus spot.

I liked the property but some places need upgrades. I went Sunday to Tuesday and a restaurant was open just the weekends. The bar next to the swimming pool was closed. The jacuzzi was durty and not to hot. A lot of kids without adults supervising and no staff checking that. The hotel advertice an adult swimming pool but was not the case. I used the spa facilities and a sauna was closed, the steam room out of service, and the prices the same of USA. If 1/2 of the facilities will be not working, the spa supposse to give a courtesy discount.

We stayed in Coronado hotel area. Bed had old sheets and comforter. The bathroom sink had dark stains, the shower curtain did not prevent water leaking ontho the floor outside the shower, no basic amenities like tissues, no iron in the room, we were told there is a share ironing room on the 4th floor which was an inconvenient. I would not recommend staying here.

It is a beautiful property. The amenities are great. I believe the only thing they need to improve on is the bed covers, they are very outdated. Almost as bad as a 2 or 3 star motel. A lot of things throughout the property and rooms have improve from the last time we were here. The coffee shop and the creeps shop are a great option at the malecon.

Cons: we did stay at the older tower. Beds are too hard so uncomfortable. Pillows were flat. No microwave or fridge in the room. Sliding door to the balcony was old and struggled to open it, needs updating. The stand up shower makes a big water mess everywhere due to no glass door and short shower curtain so we had to use the towels to soak up the water. They either need to add a glass door or have longer shower curtains or raise the brick curb they have to step over into the shower it’s very small didn’t block anything. The towels were old and thin. Wish the breakfast was included. Had the breakfast buffet and it was $65 for 2 people not including tip!!

Pro: rooms are clean. Spacious. Ocean view balcony. They have multiple pools/jacuzzis to choose from. They do have waiters for the pool area. Great location. Great staff. Feel safe. Access to the beach & pier. They do have a bar and food services on the beach.

The room ate old , you can hear everything t that happens in the hallways , there’s no insulation in the room to prevent noise. it’s a great location walking distance from the beach , but I will never stay there just do to the amount of noise that you hear from your room . The beds are terrible- feels like you’re sleeping on a rock. Limited pillow, you have to ask for more. Two only per bed. The tv was super tiny for the room, lighting is bad. I thought I was paying slightly more for a nicer room and nope. To iron your clothes it’s in a whole other room on your floor. No refrigerator in the room… the only thing that was worth it was the view and easy access to walk the beach.

The room overlooked the beach and was a nice view. But thats about where the good ends. I stayed i. The Coronado tower so maybe the other tower is better. But the room was dated and just lacking. The staff were not friendly and unwilling to provide help as to what was around inbtje area. Usually hotel staff will help let you know what is around and how to get around. Thwy only offered to call a taxi, no help trying to navigate the area. The locals are great and they were more than willing to help. In the end we just slept at the hotel. We did use the spa there, but after that we went to outside venues.
