I love the place! The room does have ocean view however the bathroom is small the trash is under the sink and there no toilet roller. The staff are very friendly. Indoor pool is amazing but too much bleach smell. Their drinks are better than the lobby bar. The horse show was okay, wish it was more show than education.

Spacious and safe, sure some get loud at night but you can always call room service if they get too obnoxious loud! They will take care of it! Other than that it is a chill place to stay at during regular week day's it is more chill. Weekend there more people's but still fun. Been here 5 times and every time has been a good stay.

From the morning we checked in, staff was friendly and try to accommodate the best they could. We were able to check in sooner than expected . Rooms were clean , pools were clean and so was the site . Housekeeping did a good job keeping the room up the 4 nights we stayed . We will definitely stay there again.

The hotel is old, walls are dirty and dingy. Fold out couch is so nasty looking. The staff are very nice but I was a little disappointed how old and dirty this place was. Window didnt have screen, theres no ac so its hard to keep window open because mosquitos come in and when you close window a bird pecks at it and wakes you up. The room did have a fan so that was a plus. The hotel has a lot of amenities but we didnt check it out. The bedding was old and crusty. I was so scared of bugs here.

My gf and I stay, was great. The hotel is outdated but very clean. The rooms are exactly like the pictures advertise. Overall it was good, it was literally walking distance to Puerto Nuevo Lobster restaurants. Which is why we stayed here. This a place is good to stay for no more than 2 or maybe 3 days.

Very nice people and great staff however, there were some things that they could improve for a very small sum of money such as chargers that take USB or mini Jack and the biggest thing that really hurts. The place was the rooms were pretty dirty and the Wi-Fi was basically nonexistent, so no one really had Internet service there.

2 star hotel listed as 4 star. A/c didn't work, very narrow spiral floors to the 2nd and 3rd floors.Very dated hotel, missing fire hoses, not toddler safe at all. Would not recommend at this price point for a hotel. A lot of stairs to climb if in the villas.

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and both the outdoor and indoor pools were a nice bonus. Breakfast was also good and made for an easy start to the day.

One thing future guests should be aware of: if you have difficulty with stairs or prefer easier access, I recommend requesting a first-floor room. This is especially important if you’re assigned to the north-side rooms. That section has its own parking area, but reaching the rooms requires walking down a fairly long set of stairs from the parking lot. If you’re staying on the second floor, you’ll need to climb another flight of stairs to reach your room. It wasn’t a problem for us, but it could be challenging for anyone with mobility concerns, heavy luggage, or small children.

Overall, a great stay with clean accommodations, good amenities, friendly staff, and a solid breakfast. Just be sure to request a first-floor room if stairs may be an issue.

I would not recommend staying at Puerto Nuevo based on my recent experience. My room had no mini fridge, no AC, and the resort didn’t offer ice at all. I stayed two nights and the room was never cleaned or serviced once.The only good part of the stay was the parking attendant, who was extremely pleasant.The resort may look nice, but the lack of basic amenities and service made the stay frustrating. Also, coolers are not allowed, which makes the lackof amenities even worse.

Next room they have TV so loud we check our TV and it was a big hole in the back of the TV wall that was connected to the other room. We place a towel to cover the hole , because we were listen next room TV🤔😥. They connected the two TVs but they forgot to close the hole in the wall. Anyway the hotel overall was nice . I hope they close that hole In the wall room 415.

This place has a beautiful sunset/sunrise to look at! Food was great too. However, you can hear everything while in your room. You can hear people above your room and right outside the door too. We heard the music from the 3rd floor coming from the bar in the lounge. Also heard people’s suitcases rolling on the floor passing by our room as the door was shut. There isn’t a hairdryer in the room either. And, my biggest concern, was exposed wiring throughout the resort. The wires were not tucked away at all and just had a cap on them with electrical tape. It was decent, but if you want a good nights rest, I’d reconsider staying here.

Outlets and a lamp didn't work. Trash in room when we arrived. Power went out a few times as well as the wi-fi. The quality of the food at buffet in the restaurant for dinner wasn't good. The pizza at outdoor pool bar was too cheesy, but these are personal preferences. The AC wasn't great. The mattress and pillows in main bedroom are in pretty bad shape. We left the night before because we couldn't sleep well. I'll still this great reviews because of how friendly their staff were. Jessica at check in was great and shared information about the hotel and allowed us to check in early. Bell staff was also very friendly.

El cuarto esta espacioso pero en cuanto a mantenimiento y limpieza respecta no me fue satisfactorio. El bano no estaba limpio, el sofa cama esta muy sucio y las ventanas no tenia el seguro para cerrar, facilmente se podian abrir por fuera. Las sillas del patio 2 de 3 estaban quebradas. El lugar esta muy bonito pero los cuartos y el edificio necesitan atencion.

Mi estancia fue agradable, el hotel muestra un agradable estancia familiar, sus albercas visblemente limpias y muy agradable bar (su mixologia aun debe mejorar), el hotel si necesita reparaciones aqui y alla pues son notorias algunas cosas viejas e incluso inservibles, y Lo que mas me gusto fue sentirme segura, seguridad 24 hrs y Su todo su personal fue muy accesible y amigable.

While staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel room needed deep cleaning as the floors were dirty and had debris. Couches were also very saturated with stains ( maybe covers would help). Hot tubs were full of children which made it hard to have a relaxing experience being there’s no minors allowed in hot tubs and signs posted by tubs. I would come back just because I think it was a busy weekend and hoping for a more calm stay in a different occasion.

Cushions had a dirty looking, too cold to be in the outside pool. Indoor pool over crowded an a lot of bleach smell like. For $25 dollars breakfast buffet per person it was kind of too much considering we didn’t go to stuck up our stomach with food. They had a party inthere We couldn’t sleep! We complained and they said, they had a party that got out of hand. I should have stick to $250 hotel I was planning on staying.

If you want a place to relax this is not where you want to stay. They had live music/ karaoke Friday & Saturday night from 7pm-12am. Music was so loud we were unable to sleep both nights. You could hear the crowd cheering, screaming down the hall. We had no hot water had to shower my kids with cold water. The shower drainage had a very bad smell.. water was stuck. We will not be returning!

First of all the pool closes at 9pm even on wknds No fridge inside the room for your leftovers or keep your water cold. Ice is not free or provided in the property, they want you to purchase it. There’s no AC in the rooms. The only good thing about this hotel is how close it is to puerto Nuevo restaurants 5 min walk !!! The view as well is amazing

This property needs to upgrade their furniture. Kitchen didn’t have any knives, no cutting boards so it make it very difficult to cook. The burners to cook sucked. Windows didn’t lock so didn’t feel to safe. View was amazing but I wouldn’t stay there anymore. This is definitely not a 8.2.

I’m extremely disappointed with the condition of the room. The bathroom was not properly cleaned—there were feces smeared across the counter, which is completely unacceptable and unsanitary. The shower handle was also broken, making it difficult to use.

There was no air conditioning in the room, and when we tried to open the windows for ventilation, they were missing the screens/springs. This allowed mosquitoes to come inside, forcing us to keep the windows closed. As a result, the room became extremely hot and humid, making it very uncomfortable to sleep.

Overall, this was a very unpleasant and unacceptable experience. I expected much higher standards, especially when it comes to cleanliness and basic maintenance.

I had such a beautiful stay at this hotel—honestly, it felt like a hidden gem. The Spanish-style interior design was absolutely stunning, with so many charming details that made the space feel warm and inviting. I especially loved all the greenery throughout the property—it gave everything a peaceful, almost magical vibe.

The landscaping was gorgeous, and having both an indoor and outdoor pool made it feel like a little oasis. Being right in front of the beach was the cherry on top—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view.

I stayed in a corner room, which was super spacious and comfortable. It really elevated the whole experience. I also recommend dining at the hotel—the bar had a great atmosphere, and the food was genuinely good.

Overall, I had such a great time and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful getaway.
