I was extremely disappointed upon arrival. While the construction around the building was not an issue for me, the condition of the room was unacceptable. There was dust on the floors, hair in the shower, and even a dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. The shower itself was in very poor condition, with black buildup that appeared as though it hadn’t been properly cleaned in years.

I would not recommend this property. However, I would like to note that the receptionist, Daja, was extremely kind and understanding when I checked out, as I ultimately decided not to stay due to the condition of the room.

The freezer was broken and it had frozen water in it. So we couldnt store food properly in the freezer. The floors havent been mopped in months. The washer and dryer had built up grime and i had to clean it thoroughly before using it. The needed to be sanitized. Basically if you stay be prepared to clean and sanitize the room the first 3hrs.

Check in isn’t on property. It’s a ten minute walk away. Elevator broken. Smell of pot rampant throughout hotel. Parking a nightmare. Our room didn’t even have a spot! In our particular room, curtains over windows don’t even darken the room. Also don’t try to check in early. No keys until 4 on the dot. Frustrating stay overall.

We had very cold weather so didn’t use the pool. It was really nice to have a suite. We had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The couch in the living room was filthy and the one toilet kept running. Very comfortable and nice not to have so much room.

The space itself and location was excellent. The pool is nice. The hot tub did stop working a little, but it did storm so I’m guessing it became plugged (unsure).

The cleanliness was subpar. My family and I don’t really mind for the most part, however, I had lost something and had to look under the couch. I’m not a perfectly clean gal, but that gave us a little of the “ick”. The showers could’ve used a little scrub as well. A few doors were broken, and the light switches in the guest room worked 50% of the time. Again, not that we spent much time in the hotel, but it was a little uncomfortable knowing it wasn’t clean.

We did call for bath towels, bars of soap, and laundry detergent. We never received them. We gave up because we were leaving the next day, but still a little disappointing.

Would I stay again? Probably if the price was right. If there was something better, I would probably choose that. I’m not one for reviews but I think the “ick” I got needed to be written.

I will comment how nice the staff members were at the front desk—Jules was such a light.

Our 1st time staying, but we have a friend who stays at least 3 times a year here. We are local so we vosit with her when she is in town. Which is nice bc parking close by on the street is a plus for visitors. We enjoyed our 4 day visit. We plan on returning soon. My husband and I are always trying to do a weekend staycation ecery few months. For out of towners, the beach is across the street with access. However, this section if Treasure Island is very wide. So it is a bit if a walk to reach the shoreline. Unfortunately you can't redo what mother nature has created. Go early in the morning or later in the afternoon. Especially in the summer months. The condos are worth the walk.

We really enjoyed our stay over the weekend. I was worried about some of the reviews, but the place overall was great! Some stains on the couch, not exactly deep cleaned in the cabinets, under the beds, etc. and the pans really need replaced as they are non stick with scratches all over them. The beach was across the road and we could see it from the 5th floor which was awesome! The check in is at sunset vistas which is about a couple minute drive up the road - didn’t have any issues with this as check in was smooth. Great for the price too.

I have stayed at the Crystal Palm resort multiple times and this was the worst visit. I’ve had we rented the penthouse suite for six girls three bathrooms. We had not one extra Roll toilet paper. No extra towels for six girls for three nights, it took three visits down the street to get a key that would work went to make coffee in the morning and it still had the coffee grounds from the last people in the pot gross then to top it all off the smoke alarm beat all night long got up took the battery out of the smoke alarm and it’s still beep all night long We did finally get some towels and toilet paper dish soap, hand soap at 11 o’clock at night because they had nobody that could give it to us until then. The place is falling apart would never stay there again.

The thermostat batteries have been taken out. We walked into a very hot room. We called the front office down the street that we checked in with and he just said he had to call somebody else, but there was no way that somebody was gonna come out today to fix the air. so even though we put batteries in it from one of the remotes, it still would not turn on. we had to leave and barely found another hotel to luckily check into.

Check in was ridiculous. Pull up to find then that I have to get back in the car and drive to a different resort across gulf blvd to check in. While waiting in my car for my husband to check in the guard knocks on my window to question me. Cara everywhere. Property was great except for the bathroom in the front. Toilet was gross. But otherwise great. Lots for my money! Beautiful balcony and lovely pool

Had to get keys from another property - not a huge deal. But then, keys wouldn't work on door so had to drive back to other property to get keys working. Once we finally got inside, we heard a loud \"pop\" near the refrigerator, and a soda can (left by someone else) in the freezer had exploded. Overall cleanliness is subpar and no soap (other than hair shampoo) in bathrooms. Mold in corners of showers. Unit also needs ALOT of updates. Only positives are (1) large unit with plenty of space and (2) location is within walking distance.

you get what you pay for, this property is listed as a resort but this is not a resort, it is an older condominium with a pool that is selling time by a third party. There is no food or water on site and very limited places to eat in walking distance so if you don't have a car, good luck. There is no front desk or staff ! Check in is done a block away at another site, so if you arrive without a car your walking with luggage and in the rain as we did. I picked it because it was cheap but wouldn't pick it again. Find a real hotel with a front desk and a food and water. St Petes or Clearwater looks to be a better place with more options.

Stayed here our last couple of days on spring break. Great location, yes you hear a little traffic, but its just across the street from the beach. Had to check in at the sister resort just down the road as they are redoing the lobby area from the hurricane damage. Was a little disapointed that there was hardly any water pressure in the kitchen faucet. Luckly we didn't really need to use the sink. There was plenty of water pressure everywhere else. Rooms were clean, but the couch had stains on it which we jusr covered with the extra sheet. If it wasnt for those two negitives, would have rated it higher.

It’s a great spot directly across the street from the beach and we had a very nice balcony. The unit, however, was filthy and poorly maintained. There was of course still some lobby work going on post the hurricane which was no issue. The furniture was gross and we immediately put sheets over the couch and chair because the fabric was stained and gross. It was also poorly cleaned and just overall pretty nasty. This could be a great property but needs some TLC (with emphasis on the C, as in someone that cares running the place).

Great location across the street from the beach. The property was very poorly maintained and extremely dirty. The floors were so filthy that you had to wear shoes inside or your feet/socks would be black - disgusting! The furniture was literally gross with patches worn through the leather sofa to the fabric beneath. The kitchen faucet didn’t work and I had to repair a toilet myself. It’s a great location and a shame that the owner/management doesn’t care for it. Note the conditions I describe have nothing to do with the hurricane repair which was ongoing. It’s based strictly on very poor maintenance and poorly cleaned conditions.

We did not get our room until 2 hours after the room was supossed to be ready. The room was in poor shape, couch was filthy, dining room chairs were dirty, sliding door track was filled with black dirt, trash was not emptied, dishes still in dishwasher. Spoke with management for a refund of some sort and all they did was waive the \"RESORT FEES\" This place is definitely not a resort. THe only amenity is a pool. Very very disappointed

Location was great for our needs, dining, beach access & commuting. The unit itself (301) was ok but not the cleanest. The bathrooms were bad, not much effort was put into cleaning them. The water was hard & left a film on the eating utensils, also not great for showering. There was a broom, but no dust pan, mop but no bucket & not one piece of beach equipment (chairs,cooler,umbrella or even kids bucket/shovel).
We like the unit location of unit as it was on the end. The pool area was great, although the water temperature could have been a bit warmer.
Considering the damage that was done with the storms last year they done a fantastic job to get it open for business so us tourists can enjoy.

We spent 6 nights at the hotel. We liked the 2 bedroom condo, it was very spacious with 2 en suites and full kitchen and big balcony. Lovely view of the sea and sunset. The location is good opposite the beach, 2 minute walk to get there. There are restaurants and shops within walking distance. Overall our stay was very enjoyable. The pool was clean and warm and the hot tub was very relaxing. We were allocated our own parking space which was very convenient.

To improve the stay I would say that the cleanliness could have been improved, just some dust around but nothing major. Also, need to leave out cleaning equipment such as dustpan and brush and broom. Also, no tea, coffee or water provided as per the service fee.

Terrible check in process. Arrived and there was a piece of paper on the door that said please check in at another property. Got to the other property and there was no signs for the office which was on the second floor. Checked in and had to pay full price even though the unit was not the same unit advertised. Parking was assigned spaces with zero communication about where the space was. The unit was dingy and smelled like mold. This place is not what you see online. I will never stay here again.

Stayed Sat. - Mon. Elevator not functioning so was switched to a 2d floor handicap accessible very outdated unit.Couches and side chairs were covered with stains. Kitchen dishes and utensils were sparse. No instructions on how to operate TVs. We should have been notified of the issues before hand and been upgraded. Property offered as compensation, no resort fee add on and a fifty dollar credit. (Was told \"resort\" fees was for 2 prepackaged decaf coffee pods and toiletries)

The suite was very nice. The property was impacted by the hurricane causing the elevator to be out of order. We didn't know that until check in. We originally had a suite in the 5th floor but was changed to the 3rd. We would give it another try once repairs are made.

We were provided good instructions on where to check in due to latest hurricane event. Autumn checked us in, gave us our VIP perk wine and was very quick/easy to accommodate on any issue we had. For the price and amenities this place worked very well for our party of 4.
Overall pleased, but was disappointed with the elevators not working especially being on the upper floors for the gulf view. We are in shape and don't mind the extra exercise but may not be acceptable to others. The property is undergoing repair from the hurricane on the bottom lobby and the building itself is showing age. Could use a nice refresh and working elevator to be a 10/10 in my opinion.

However, office was closed for the entirety of my trip, I was charged $16ish a night for the resort fee to cover towels, coffee, water in room etc, and well, I got none of that. I had to buy my own towels and do without coffee.

Overall a decent place to stay, and if the office is actually open there would be no issues.

We were there a couple months after back to back hurricanes passed through and were a little nervous of what may be awaiting us, but we were very pleasantly surprised.

We check in after hours at a separate location which was the hardest part as there wasn't any signage for their check in area and it took me 10mins to find it. Check in was smooth and easy otherwise.

We had 1 parking spot that was fairly close to the stairs. Elevators weren't available due to hurricane sustained damage.

The apartment was huge for the two of us - 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms. Everything was clean, worked and all they needed was us to take our garbage out at the end.

The back was close enough to walk to. We walked down to John's Pass easily and spent some time wandering around there. All in we both agreed if we were going to that area again we would definitely return.

Very loud thumping music next door at 1am and no front desk to help out. Individual other guests were just ignored by the occupants

Very underwhelmed by this “resort”. I get there was a big storm but maybe this one isn’t ready to be open. After I couldn’t cancel the reservation I was told check in was pushed from 3 to 4 and check out from 10 to 11. One of the reasons I picked it was for the later checkout. Secondly we had to go to another resort to check in and it was really confusing where the office was. We finally get our key and go to our room and our couch looks like it was dropped off the balcony and dragged back up. It was clearly broken and dirty. The bed at least seemed clean. It sounded like a waterfall was running behind the walls half the night. We were told we had to park in our designated parking spot or we’d be towed but we drove around 5 minutes and couldn’t find it. Then we did but a huge box truck was parked there in our place. I parked in another spot and worried all night we would be charged or towed. In the morning we had to wake up early and rush out because of the early checkout and the worry about my car. Will never stay here again and am bummed the reviews steered me wrong.

I love this place. I stayed here a few years ago and they haven’t missed a beat. It was very clean and very quiet. It’s got everything you could need from washer/dryer, full kitchen with dining table. Let’s not forget the balcony for the gulf coast sunset views. The check in was a little mission because I booked same night and they only are there until 5PM so I had to go right down the street to another property to check in no problem and the staff was very friendly. Considering what the area just went through they’re top notch.

Front desk manager Tamera was very rude and inconsiderate, I’m a handicap, she was loud when I told her I was a parking, she immediately ask me did I have my parking space pass, I alerted her that I’m handicap and it’s a state law, I dont a pass or anything, she is violating a law which could result into fines at this property if I report it, she needs to be respectful and considerate of others

Pros: Very spacious and very well equipped units. Spacious and well furnished balcony as well. Conveniently located across the street from beautiful beach. Big bin of beach chairs, pool floatties etc left by past guests for use. Clean beach towels provided daily.
Cons: Our unit was lacking cleanliness. Bathroom tub and toilets were very dirty and master bath had a strange odor. Mouldings were filthy, excessive dust on fans and floors were dirty. The unit could have used a really thorough clean.
Despite this, we enjoyed our stay, however, would not stay here again because of the lack of cleanliness in unit.

We came back 3hrs later later than our check in time, and it was still wasn’t ready for another hr. I saw people were checking in, so why wasn’t I able to check in. This is poor management and horrible communication on their part. We left.

July 4th family trip

Being a local the property was very nice and I enjoyed the fact that they pay attention to who comes and goes to the property. They will tow your vehicle if you dont park in you assigned spot or do not have a parking permit. The parking lot is not big and each unit has designated parking. The pool was clean and it is a very short walk to the beach. My only issue was the floor could have been cleaner on arrival not that it was gross but just you could feel the beach sand when walking barefoot. Overall we will be back and the kids loved being on the beach for the holiday.

Nice spot for a beach getaway

We loved the room; however, we did not receive the silver perk of a free bottle of wine upon check-in as the app mentioned. The room was very nicely decorated, well equipped, and in walking distance of everything a beach vacation needs. Only downside was that the inside of the coffee maker was disgusting and I did not have proper cleaning tool to clean properly so we chose to get coffee and breakfast elsewhere. Everything else was great!

Had mold growing in the AC/furnace filter. They towed my car because my pass wasn’t on the dash, ($250) I set it on the middle console that night, We had a reserved parking spot and they knew that was my car because it was there for a few days . They didn’t even give me a courtesy call to let me know my pass wasn’t on the dash they just towed it anyway. The manager was very rude. Very poor customer service. I would never stay here again. Then our door lock was broken and we had to transfer to their sister hotel. Worst experience ever!
