My friends and I have stayed here at least 15 times over as many years. The condo size
is perfect for 3-4 people. We had no water bottles in the room as advertised, the hair dryer was non functioning and the washing machine didn't work. We reported the faulty
machine the first day. Technician said probably needed a belt. It was never repaired. We
were never offered any replacements or other options. We were told to \"take it up with Expedia.\"

We walked in to find a roach next to the coffee pot. No shower curtain in the master bath,water soaked the floor. Pulm out sofa and sofa were absolutely disgusting eith dried blood and or feces all over the mattress cover. The master bed sheets did not look clean. Folded linens for pull out sofa bed were also very gross and dirty. The 2nd bedroom had roaches as well. Worst place I have ever stayed in.
The outward appearance when we arrived was cute family place, the café staff were very nice, food was good.

Very nice 2 BR 2 Bath suite. Loved our balcony & gulf view. Nice beds and pillows. Beachfront so easy access to the beach. This was a quiet beach area. Not alot of people when we were there which we liked. Nice pool area too. Our room was on the pool side and you could hear people down there until it closed at 10pm. Definitely try the onsite cafe. It was really good. We were able to see dolphins from the beach. Can walk to Johns Pass (1/2 mile) via street or the beach. We were very happy with Sunset Vistas and would come back

This hotel was better than I ever imagined it would be. I chose this hotel because I typically stay at one that’s more in st. Pete but the prices were crazy this year. I was worried to try something new but I was pleasantly surprised! Such a great location; an awesome pool for little ones AND a separate one for older kids. They offered us showers and a changing room In the gym since we arrived early and were sandy from the beach. Truly a great experience. I’ll book here every time I visit. :)

It was a lovely property. The kitchen was very basic, and there was no gas grill on site, so if you like to cook, it was challenging. I could make breakfast no problem, but steered away from dinners, which was actually nice! Beautiful pool and beach, and staff was friendly! Will definitely return

The beach view is great even though the unit states Partial Ocean view . The resort is older but well maintained and clean. It’s great to have a beach bar on property. No beach chairs come with this rental but they are available on the beach for a very reasonable fee . Would stay here again.

we really enjoyed ourselves here for sisters weekend. In the kitchen, it has all the minimal things you might need including a coffee pot, blender, and ice maker. The views were amazing from the nice size balcony. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The washer and dryer were a nice addition. Ours was a little off balanced so it was a challenge getting through the spin cycle. Towels were provided for the pool/beach. The beach is located right on the property. Be prepared to pay cash for cabanas and lounge chairs at the beach . for three days we had two cabanas and 4 lounge chairs total of $180. We felt this was well worth it. The pool and two hot tubs were great. The restaurant has decent breakfast and lunches, be prepared to pay a tip as it is included. (even though you got your own water or drink and chips.) All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Across the street from Circle K for last minute necessities.

This was a great place for the weekend. The view was phenomenal and was close to lots of places to eat. Parking was a mess though. I had to contact property staff several times to get my parking spot sorted out. However, I would definitely recommend this spot to others.

That is a huge factor in determining whether you would stay at the establishment again or not. All in all we love the St. Pete’s Beach & Clearwater Beach area’s so we will definitely be back!

Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Sunset Vista Resort. The location is beautiful and convenient, especially for anyone looking to relax near the beach. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the atmosphere around the property was peaceful and family-friendly.
The staff was generally helpful, although service could occasionally be a little slow during busy times. The amenities were enjoyable, especially the pool area and beach access. Some areas of the property could use minor updates and maintenance, but nothing that seriously affected the stay.

We used to come here all the time, but hadn’t been here for about 10 years. The check-in was great. Our flight was early so she got us checked in by 1 o’clock.
It was sad that the place has not updated anything as far as their rooms. Pull out couch in living room has many stains and kind of gross looking. We put a sheet on it before we sat down. Balcony has a nice view, but we couldn’t go on it with bare feet because it was so filthy and sticky. The maintenance of this property used to be very clean, but it’s broken down.
Besides the check-in woman, I found that the staff wasn’t that friendly, for instance, I was leaving on May 6 at 4 PM, so is typically might be the case. I went to the front desk on the afternoon of the fifth to ask for a late checkout of an hour. The Man at the desk started to look at the computer to see if it was possible, just done a younger girl who was standing behind the dust as well. Said the ownership does not allow late checkouts. I had never heard of such a thing especially on a Wednesday. I called in the morning and talked to a different person at the front desk and they gave me a late checkout. That told me employees sort of make their own rules when convenient for them.
There’s plenty of places to go on Golf Drive. I’ll pick somewhere else next time.

We had a Gulf view and it was wonderful. My only problem is we never had housekeeping in. We were told it's only if you stay 7 nights. We had to ask for our own toilet paper, tissues, dish, detergent, towels. We had to dump our own garbage, which was right down the hallway so not a real big deal, sweep our floors
I don't know if this is because this may be privately owned condos, and they don't have a general housekeeping like hotel would, but it would have been nice to have a little freshen up at least halfway through

We were not able to check in on time because the room was not ready and the staff was unable to provide an estimate on when the room would be ready. Parking when you do not know your room number is next to impossible (parking is assigned by room number but the staff will not provide the room number until your room is ready). When we were able to check in we discovered the room was still dirty and things in the room didn't work. Staff was notified but the issues were not resolved.

Staff was excellent. Location is great. Just make sure you check what you have to cook with before buying groceries. I bought eggs and pancake mix only to find 2 pots in the cabinet (one was dirty). No skillets or frying pans at all.

We checked in late on Wednesday night and the front desk clerk provided the incorrect room number verbally and in written. My daughter & I were attempting to gain access to an already occupied room. Not a good thing!!!! I then went back to the office and was given the correct room number like it was no big deal.

We spent a few days in Paradise, the views were fantastic, the beach was super clean, and location was truly amazing! We used the kitchen every day to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The kitchen was supplied with the pots and pans, and it was a huge help for us! We used a frying pan to cook eggs & bacon, and surely made use of the oven for baking pizzas and harshbrowns. Location is great. Lots of things in the area. It is right on the beach so easy walk to the water. Pool was nice.
Room appeared to be pretty clean.
Only issue was upon check-in. We were supposed to have a room that would sleep five and they gave us a room that only slept for so we had to go back down and get that adjusted. Also, we asked for extra blankets and they only gave us one and said that was all they had. Had to go back down the next night to get another one. I think extra blanket should be provided in condos like this.
Other than that, I would stay here again.

The room could definitely use some updating, but understandable for beach communities to be the way they are. Their quaint restaurant/market is very convenient. The pool was great and the beach was a quick stroll down the path.

After staying at this property for over 8 years this is my last time, at least until the cleaning issues that they have on this rooms are handle properly. I stayed in unit 504W and the room was filthy with dirty bathroom and toilets, the unit floor were super dirty, I arrived around 9pm and to my surprised the bathrooms had mold all over th place and it appears that who ever clean the floors put the trash on the toilets and forgot to flush it.
At that time my wife had to clean the bathrooms so the kids could take a shower and clean the floors as well. I’m not paying for two very expensive nights and having to deal with this kind situations.

The room type description inferred that the room was located within the front (beach side) half of the side rooms, but it was 2/3 the way toward the road.

This was our 3rd or 4th time at Sunset Vistas. Sadly, it will be our last time. These rooms are \"dated\" to put it mildly. Mold around the bathtubs. We told the front desk person. She just shrugged and said, \"The rooms are scheduled for an update.\" They wouldn't clean up the mold nor would they change our room. Not enough room around the pool... very congested. Drinks are waaaayyyy too expensive at their bar.
In short, there are better options than Sunset Vistas.

My and family and i stayed apriI l16/19 ..The check in process was not good computer s were down so we had to wait awhile to check in..The ladies were helpful in telling us where to parkand get to the room..we got into the room ..the view was amazing but thats about it ..it started with the shower the pressure was so hard it could of peeled uour skin off and no way to ajust it...Then the bedroom had ants in it i have pics all over the night stand and on side of the bed. Also the dish waher didnt work. .i attempted to wash the dirty dishes that were in the cabinets ..it was gross like they haven't been washed in days..i could use any dishes or put and pans..i had to buy plastic and didn't cook..the refrigerator didnt produce ice ..the pull out bed was so uncomfortable that my kids said they were goung to sleep on the floor...to sit on the couch was so uncomfortable...the furniture in the master was chipping paint the base boards were so dirty they were black..the door had some sort of yellow dripping down the door. Over all it was sick . .but the balcony is what we were there for ..the view was amazing..if you liketo watch tv before you fall asleep you might want to take glasses its so small for a big room im talking like 19 inch or smaller ..my son that slept with the ants had to sleep with a blanket over his head he was afraid they were going to go in his ears....so for the money i paid out was not worth it at all...i would definitely look around before staying here...

Checkin time was 4pm. We didn’t get in until after 7pm. Zero apologies given. Very frustrating when you’ve been up traveling since 4am. No apology, no comps, just, “it’s still not ready.” We also paid for a gulf view, but overlooked the parking lot instead, with a snippet view of the gulf in the far distance. We were literally in one of the farthest rooms back away from the oven. Between the service and our view, we were very disappointed in what we paid.

Check in was hour late. Our air conditioner stopped working on day 3. On day five they said maintenance was in and it could not be fixed. Offered to give us a new room but I did not want to pack everything up and move with only a couple days left of our vacation. Beach front was nice. Nice having laundry in room but washing machine is loud. Happy with beds and bathrooms. Rooms were clean.

This place is absolutely ridiculous besides not offering any breakfast of any kind their furniture was completely old and dated table is coming off the legs dirty couches that need to be cleaned chipping on furniture and ridiculous TVs that aren't even connected to remote the smallest thing I've ever seen in a hotel that cost as much the manager was not helpful at all very high and mighty not willing to help in any way. Also had a manager of the hotel housekeeping come in my room after I asked for a late checkout and was told that it was okay she walked in telling her to get out my kids are here what are you doing we are checking out at 12:00 thank you she kept arguing with me while being inside of my room ! This is not acceptable in any way shape or form !

We just left the Sunset Vistas. There are some good features - rooms are big (while bathrooms are tiny), kitchen is equipped well and proximity to the ocean is nice.
Management is awful. We booked 2 rooms with the same itinerary for the same family back in November. Since then we called the hotel three times asking what should we do to ensure we have rooms next to each other. We have 4 kids, one of them is special needs, so having rooms next to each other is a safety feature for our family. We told the management about this multiple times before and upon arrival. They gave us two rooms in the opposite wings of the building located on different levels. They told us that they will take care of this next day, they never did. We came to the front desk every single day for the first 5 out of 8 days of our stay. Every day we were told that tomorrow suite close to ours departing and next days manager would give another lame excuse.
To add to the worst hotel experience, for 8 days zero time cleaning was done, we had to wash the towels, because they were not changing them and it was never enough when we requested them. No toiletries were refilled (three small tubes were supposed to serve my family for 8 days, I guess). Moreover, the toilet paper was brought after multiple reminders and coming to the front desk on the second day after the first request.
The hotel itself is not bad and looks very nice, but the management and service issues made our trip dangerous and very stressful
