We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel and for us, it was a perfect stop to explore the area. If you are looking for full a service hotel, it's not for you but as we weren't, it's easy relaxed feel was just right. Complimetary tea/coffee/cake is in reception, you can have as many cups as possible and we enjoyed the croissants in the morning. A very nice lounge area with a pool table and a small shop to buy drinks, alcohol and other snacks is available. To eat there is a restaurant across the road and hotel residents get a discount, we enjoyed the choice there, self service style but lots to choose from. The staff were super helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble

Very pleased we chose this hotel. All staff were very polite and efficient. Could not find fault with the room or service and the free tea,coffee,cake, croissants in reception was very nice although personally I missed having a kettle in the room. Food availablity and quality good at the adjacent restaurant.

We didn’t have a good start. Finding the hotel was a nightmare. We tried to stay off toll roads and had has go around in circles trying to find the entrance. We arrived to find it more of a truck stop on the tollway. Not a single photo or comment of it being only accessible from toll road unless you had prior info and got the back gate opened. On first impression we weren’t happy. The buffet breakfast is located off site a short wet cold walk for us. There was coffee and pastries in lobby though. The beds were comfy and room was clean. Views look at city. Mountain. River and cows. So once inside all was good. Just the initial arrival could have been a lot better if a simple comment or photo of back private access could have been explained. Otherwise a nice stay.

Excellent hotel. Looks like a UK motorway service station stop from the outside, but could not be further from it once inside. All the rooms face away from the road so is totally quiet. Free tea/coffee/cakes/croissants in reception. The Marche next door for dinner has great food options and is immaculate.

I arrived past 22:00, the official closing time and would leave before 5 am the next day. The young lady went the extra mile to assure swift check-in, although I should have done this at the machine. The card for electric charging was already locked down, however she assisted me on this as well. The hotel may be very proud of this very kind and helpful professional.

A delightful hotel for overnight or short stay.

For a motorway stopover this hotel is amazing. Our room was comfortable and well decorated with a great view out to the mountains and the Bellinzona castles.
There are spacious and attractive communal areas both inside and outside and the provision of free coffee, flavoured waters and cakes is a delightful touch.
The adjacent Marche restaurant is excellent with a wide choice of freshly prepared dishes.
This was a superb overnight stop on our journey from Italy but would also make a pleasant base for a longer stay to explore the area. It is very good value for Switzerland.

We stayed only one night. The accommodations were great, the people were wonderful, more friendly than the rest of the stays we had in Switzerland. There is a food court place next door and a coop which is super convenient, and a gas station. And it’s so close to the Old Town, about 12 minute drive. It’s easy to find from the freeway. The only drawback is the 18wheeler trucks that are parked close to the hotel. But the people here were super nice, my check in was wonderful!

Excellent hotel, more of an American style with larger rooms. And air-conditioning extremely clean and very very good condition and very well insulated very quiet . Very happy with the place would definitely stay there again.
Downside for some people, this is an interstate Hotel However it is very insulated so it’s very quiet quiet. One of the quietest hotels I’ve stayed at in Europe. It’s good if you have a car but if you’re taking the train or other transport it would not be very convenient. You can walk to it from town, but it’s quite far away and there’s nothing around it other than a truckstop restaurant It’s fine if you have a car I just would recommend walking to it.

Average motel. The photos on the Hotels page are deceptive because the area looks nicer than it really is. It's right by a major motorway with lots of trucks parked nearby. One of our bedside tables was still dirty with food & we had to wipe it. To eat any decent food you have to walk to the nearby Marche' whose prices are exorbitant.

The description of the hotel says that you can check in with an attendant until 0000. We arrived at 2300 exhausted and there wasn’t anyone to help us. We tried the automatic check in and it said there was a problem with our reservation. So we called the “emergency” line. The lady said she would come over in 5 min. 20min later she arrived. She was friendly and expedited to check in but it was frustrating considering we picked the hotel based on the desk being manned until midnight. No other complaints. They offer free coffee/ tea 24hrs. Clean. No air conditioning. Good location.

Hotel was nice. Complimentary tea, coffee and water in reception. Room was large for European standards. Bathroom was a little cramped but vanity and sink were separate from toilet so you didn’t have to share small space with travel buddy. Reception was super friendly. Located just off the autobahn (A2) at a rest stop with gas and food headed north in Switzerland. Clean, quiet and safe.

This was the most comfortable hotel of our entire Switzerland trip. Access is not that great from downtown/train station, but once you get there you can use their taxi vouchers to get to/from town for 6 francs (as of Sept 2019). Quiet despite being close to highway. Rooms on bottom floor have walk out patio are that is very nice. The restaurant that is next to the hotel is awesome. Using voucher from hotel, you pay 26 CHF per adult (I forget what the kids price was) for all you can eat and they have a great variety of excellent food. If you don't like something you ordered, go get something else. Excellent coffee in the lobby of the hotel and the staff was awesome! Play room with pool table also has many other games etc for kids to play. They even have diapers for you to change your baby (we didn't have a baby, but I thought that was interesting) Last, but not least, they have air conditioning!

Great location. Staff was very friendly. We got free coffee, water and refreshments in the lobby at all hours and the water was the best we've ever had abroad. The hotel is within walking distance of Denner and Marché and there's also a great pizza restaurant called Romitaggio nearby.
The only problem we encountered were the beds, they're very stiff and in dire need of a mattress pad or something to make them softer.

Excellent hotel at roadside services. Clean and tidy throughout with the obvious benefit to everyone of a recent refurbishment. Multi lingual staff were kind and polite. Spotless rooms have mountains views, easy parking right outside the door and a clean COOP shop and restaurant 50metres away. Even better was the free games room with free pool table and other games, free 1 hour bicycle hire and, the best bit for me, free tea,coffee and water available 24/7. Free fresh croissants in the morning just prove this roadside hotel is a real find. Quite excellent. I can’t recommend it too highly.

Even though is right next to the freeway the place is hard to find unless you know how to get there. GPS could not find it. Had to ask many people in the towns near by to finally get there. The floor in the room was not very clean. There was dust all over sticking to the bottom of your feet or slippers. The rest of the room was nice and clean. The hotel is next to a Marche restaurant with all type of foods.

Really nice staff with reasonable price and nice room condition. Although it is close to the highway, the room is not noisy. Provides iced water at front desk’s kitchen, and free coffee which I didn’t expected. Also I can grab some croissant at the front kitchen in the morning which is complimentary.

There is an AC in the room, and the breakfast is eatable at The Marché beside the hotel(buffet with a small choice, but really cheap!! 15CHF. Nice, I think).

I could really take a rest at the hotel and the staff was very nice to notice me in advance by e-mail that the hotel’s reception closes at 23:30 and they will left the key in the machine near the door.

The hotel itself is pretty good, but the location is difficult. I didn't realize this a highway rest-stop *only accessible travling SOUTH TO NORTH on the A2. Unfortunately our plans had us going south to north, so it was a pain to access both in the evening, then leaving in the morning. Great wifi, though!!!

Very difficult property to find (car GPS could not find) so it complicated the check-in process. I was also charged twice; beware booking through expedia becuase you will show up owing the balance, and the check-in involves a self-check-in kiosk, so you have to pay to get your keys.
The hotel is otherwise new, clean and very comfortable! There is a nearby restaurant (Marache) with great food, which is buffet style.

The stay was comfortable but the hotel is part of a motorway services and is very inconvenient. Nowhere did it mention this fact about being in a motorway services in the advert.
The area close to this hotel is very beautiful and the backdrop of the hotel is amazing. The only issue is that if you want to go and visit the local area and attract you are better off looking for a hotel in Bellinzona as getting to and from the castles and other attractions you have to get on the motorway and back.

Très loin du centre, obligé de prendre la voiture et obligé de reprendre l’autoroute pour aller à l’hôtel qui se trouve sur l’air d’autoroute de Bellizone-Sud.
Petit-dejeuner non compris contrairement à ce qu’annonce ebookers! Et en plus au restaurant de l’air d’autoroute, pas à l’hôtel.
Donc hôtel cher pour les inconvénients.

En övernattning på väg till Italien

Vi bodde en natt, 4 vuxna fördelade på 2 rum. Bra parkering utanför och alldeles intill ca 8 -10 st IONITY snabbladdare för Er med elbil. Där låg även en Coop med en otroligt fin delikatessavdelning där man även åt frukost, supergod. Rummen funkade men kändes mycket enklare än bilderna. Receptionen var riktigt bra där man som gäst kunde ta kaffe eller vattenkaraffer med sig till rummet. Ett bra ställe ändå sammanfattningsvis för oss som skulle vidare till Italien nästa dag.
