The bus station is some 300 m away and shopping venues are about a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The beach is approximately 1.

2 km away, and nightspots can be found some 7 km from the establishment. Pros: clean, great location and view from the balcony. Front desk ladies very nice.

Cons: I believe they did surge pricing (there was some sort of festival in town). So I was expecting a $750/night room like I paid for but it was far from it. I would have given 5 stars if it was $300-400/night but the service isn’t indicative of the price we paid. The manager was rude, and they don’t actually have parking (it’s based on if they have room that day but zero advance warning we needed to arrive super early to get a spot) so you just drive in circles til you find public parking.
Wasn’t bad, wasn’t great.

Overall good.

The hotel was dated and had a slight stuffy smell to it but everything in the room was clean and the air conditioning worked so well coming from a prior place where it did not work much at all. The breakfast buffet was great. Enjoyed every morning. Loved having espresso in the room, two cups for each of us. Close to the train station. Never saw the hot tubs that are shown, looked everywhere.

I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest appreciation for the outstanding experience I had during my recent stay at your hotel. I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I was with the exceptional level of service provided by your staff.
The reception staff were absolutely phenomenal, going above and beyond to ensure that my check-in was seamless and stress-free. Their welcoming demeanour and willingness to assist with any and all inquiries was greatly appreciated, and truly set the tone for a wonderful stay.
I must also commend the breakfast staff for their attentive service and delightful personalities. They consistently went out of their way to ensure that I was well taken care of, and their kind gestures did not go unnoticed.
The rooms were nothing short of magnificent. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the view of Lake Locarno from my balcony was simply breathtaking. I felt as though I was living in a dream world throughout my entire stay, and I cannot thank your team enough for making it such a memorable experience.

Just stay here

This hotel exudes a pleasant vibe. It looks nice, and it is nice. The people are nice, especially the reception. They upgraded us. It’s just one of those hotels that’s just perfectly nice. It has all the amenities that pre pandemic hotels used to have. Shampoos, conditioners, body cream oh la la. My wife would probably add that although there is a lot of counter space it was a little bit dark. I would like to add that I looked good in the mirror and the shower was refreshing and powerful. There is reasonably priced parking (14CHF) that’s easy to reach behind the building. Nice. Our room offered a stunning view and the free breakfast buffet was also…very very nice.

Good location, nice view from the balcony. 4 minites from the train station by foot, a lot of restaurants nearby. Very nice experience with the reception (both check in and check out). Free bottle of water on departure was a nice touch. Aircon in the room, small fridge in the room, modern TV. Would book again, very good overall experience. We did not book breakfast buffet (due to the corona risk, but we are very conservative on this matter).

Good position on the lake front, easy walk to town. Parking a bit problematic - either on meters on the road opposite, to paying daily to park in the (limited) car park of the hotel, quite expensive but convenient.

Exceptional lakeshore location across aan avenue from Lake Maggiore and well kept gardens. Easy walking distance to the center of Locarno and shopping and historical attractions. Newly renovated hotel with views to mountains and part of town on the back and more expensive suites with lake view. Very well trained and pleasant staff. Superior breakfast and excellent quality restaurant.
Quiet rooms and comfortable beds and linens.
There is car parking at reasonable cost in the premises.

Late summer weekend

As regular visitors, we’re always looking for a nice and well priced hotel close to the Maggia Valley. The hotel is well situated close to the station and just steps from the lake. Rooms are a good size and generally well appointed, the only nice addition would be a Nespresso machine or kettle. The staff throughout the hotel were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help. Will certainly stay there again.

We travel frequently and have stayed in some of the nicest hotels and locations around the world, and this stay was by far one of the most beautiful places we ha we ever visited!!!

You must rent the electric motorcycles and venture into the mountains!

Lovely Locarno

Beautiful location right on the lake. The hotel is lovely and centrally located - easy walk to the train station and very close to restaurants and shopping.Get a room on the upper floor to really enjoy the view.
Locarno is a little less pricey than Lugano (which you can easily visit by train or my favorite way - by ferry.

Waren vom Zimmer enntäuscht

Waren eigentlich für eine Junior Suite eigentlich sehr enttäuscht 😢.Hatten 2mal Massage a15 Minuten als Geschenk erhalten,mein Partner wollte es nicht benutzen war in keiner Weise möglich,dass ich es einlöse.Also kein e Kulanz ob ich es 2mal brauche oder 1mal ich und 1malmein Partner.????Schade was für eine Dickköpfigkeit.von oben herab.

Am Abend auf der Hotelterrasse neben dem Haupteingang war eine normale Kommunikation nicht möglich, da die Musik zu laut war. Auch nach erfolgter Reklamation war es dem Personal leider nicht möglich, die Musik etwas leiser zu stellen.

Ich denke, es würde in die heutige Zeit passen, wenn die Frotteetücher nicht einfach automatisch täglich gewechselt werden, sondern nur dann, wenn die Gäste es verlangen, z.B. durch hineinlegen in die Badewanne oder so. Diese Massnahme würde sicher keinen Ster kosten und der Umwelt sicher gut tun.

Ein herzliches Dankschön für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer mit den einzigartigen Ausblick hat unser Tag mit viel Sonnenschein erfüllt. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig sowie das überaus nette Personal das uns beim Frühstück den Kaffee auf den Tisch serviert hat, Das wir sehr geschätzt haben. Besonders hervorzuheben war die Massage bei Marta, mein havarierter Rücken hat einen riesen Schritt zur Genesung beigetragen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Dieses Hotel entspricht nicht den Fotos - auf Ihrer Homepage. Die Zimmer sind total veraltet und nicht zeitgemäß. Preis Leistung stimmt überhaupt nicht.

Wir hatten ein Deluxe Superior Zimmer Gebucht aber leider war ausser die Aussicht auf den See nix Lukus das Zimmer war klein das Bad war klein und das Bett sollte King Size sein gem. Buchung war aber nur Queen Size. Das Frühstück ist lecker von allem etwas dabei und das Personal sehr höflich. Die Lage ist Top.
