It is always a very pleasant experience to stay here. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is quiet, calm and has an attractive interior with a large central marble staircase. My room had a lovely lake view from a small balcony, this was a huge bonus. The rooms were refurbished recently and now have air conditioning which guests can control (I prefer to sleep with it turned off, but it is welcome on some of the more extreme hot days). The location of the hotel is ideal, with transport connections (trains, buses and boats on the lake) just minutes away. Breakfast is also a very pleasant experience, with a good range of buffet options and a balcony area for eating outside if desired. I also appreciated that the coffee machines in the breakfast area are available all day; sometimes it was nice to take a tea or coffee to the room on returning from an excursion. In summary - a very good, uncomplicated hotel with friendly staff in an excellent location.

This is where i try to stay in Lucarno. Book early, it's popular! It's one minute from the station and overlooks the promenade. The lake views, particularly at sunrise, are fantastic. Although not large, the rooms have been nicely renovated. Breakfast is fairly extensive. There's free coffee and tea that you can enjoy all day while overlooking the lake from the balcony of the breakfast area. I shall return.

I love staying here. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located for transport connections and the lakeside. The hotel itself is very clean and pleasant inside and has recently had some attractrive internal rennovations including air conditioning to all rooms and key card access doors. My stay this time coincided with the Luci e Ombre festival and from my balcony I had the best posssible view of the fireworks on the lake on the final day.

Great location on the lake, lots of trees. My room had a balcony overlooking the lake. Loud festival was going on this weekend but I slept well thanks to good, tight balcony door. I only wish they'd keep the birds out of the dining room. I returned to my table to find a little one nibbling the cheese on my plate.

Locarno is a beautiful place and the hotel is situated right by the lake with very easy access to all the local amenities. This is a family run hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for two nights en route to Italy but you could easily stay longer as this is a very beautiful destination in its own right

Das Hotel war sehr sauber und die Zimmer modern eingerichtet. Wir waren noch nie in einem Hotel das so gut gerochen hat, vom Eingang her bis zu WC einfach alles perfekt. Frühstücksbuffet hat auch eine grosse Auswahl, also für jeden etwas.
Nachteil ist, dass es keinen Parkplatz vor dem Hotel hat um Ein/Auszuladen. Man steht also da auf der Strasse.

Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend. Logistik ist bestens, aus dem 2.Sock gelangt man direkt zum Bahnhof 50m und zum Parkhaus 150m. Lage direkt am See und angeschlossenem Restaurant. 600m zur Piazza Grande und Altstadt. Das Hotel ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr sauber und etliche Zimmer sind schon renoviert. Das Zimmer entsprach mehr als nur unseren Erwartungen. Im 4. Stock gelegen bot es eine herrliche Aussicht auf den See und die Umgebung. Das schöne und reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet bot fast alles. Das Frühstück konnte auf der Terrasse eingenommen werden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Dass sich die Parkmöglichkeit etwas abseits des Hotels befand war nicht schlimm, dass das Hotel mit dem Betreiber einen Spezialpreis aushandeln konnte war sehr angenehm.
