I’ve stayed here several times now, always a great stay. I Highly recommend this hotel 100%
My only mentioning for the Americans, if they’re not aware, it does not have air-conditioning like a lot of European/Swiss hotels. If you’re staying in the summer it might be a bit hot for you . But they do have a fantastic pool

Good hotel with nice views.

Good hotel, my second stay there. Clean relatively comfortable room, Nice balcony, decent breakfast, very nice pool in the summer.
My only complaint there was quite a bit of mold in the shower ( why I put clean rating on OK). Definitely stay here again.
There’s Also a very good Greek Takeaway just around the corner.

Outstanding hotel for the location and price

Great hotel. Ours was a last min trip as we had to drop our daughter off in the area. Hotel is not on the promenade but It’s easily accessible. Rooms was large and very clean and updated. Breakfast was great. Owner manager was very welcoming. We will certainly be going back when in the area next.

Nice base

Good spacious rooms, that are clean. Fan provided if it gets a bit warm. Minibar with space to keep some foods in it. Easy access to both Ascona and Locarno - the no 1 bus which runs near the hotel wil take you to the gateway for the Valle Verzasca. Friendly staff who are happy to help - such as ordering you a pizza when you're all walked out!!
Breakfast okay - didn't use it much. Swimming pool fine for a refreshing dip after aay of adventures.

Hot...ideal depending on the temperature

It was very hot and the hotel doesn’t have air conditioning. We had one small fan that helped but a ceiling fan and or another fan would have been helpful. The pool outside was a cooling and refreshing experience given the 27+ temperature. It’s a clean hotel. Would stay again but in cooler temperatures or be better prepared for hot sleeping conditions.

A nice place to stay for one or two nights

Very clean rooms with all necessarily amenities, but not express. Great poin is incredibly helpful and attentive staff. Outside swimming pool adds a nice extra, and you could use also in the evening. No air conditioning though could be a challenge by over 30 plus!!
We stayed there many times and I would definitely recommend it to everyone who looks for a nice and clean place to stay.

Garni Nessi Experience

I visited the Garni Nessi Hotel in Locarno, Switzerland from 11th-15th April, 2017. On arrival the swimming pool had no water in it but that was sorted immediately when I highlighted my son was looking forward to using the pool. I asked for extra towels and a pillow because there were 3 of us and we were given them without any problems.

The room was very basic. The tv only gave access to news channels in English which was disappointing. The fridge was dirty. There were no coffee and tea making facilities which, in this day and age, is not common. There was no hairdryer either. The bath was only suitable for a child. If your are over nine stones you can forget about having a bath as it is a tight squeeze. The shower head does not point in a downward direction so it had to be held in your hands to have a shower.

The staff in the dining room in the morning were always very helpful and pleasant and made the experience better.

I was quoted a price of £518.00 with Expedia for the room for four nights but when I checked out and wished to pay for the room I was charged £539.18. When I queried this with the owner, he was not interested and said it was nothing to do with him and to contact the bank or Expedia. I think that when you are quoted a price in line with your budget, that is the price you should pay and that should be honoured by the hotel.

You can get easy access to the main area of Locarno by a short bus ride but I wouldn't stay again.

Not for us but depends what you're looking for

Room was basic, but clean. Mini bar was a surprise bonus. No ac or a fan during 30+ temps made it quite uncomfortable. Hotel rooms are accessed from outside, motel style and hotel is located above a auto-body shop. Staff was extremely nice and when they saw us outside looking for parking the manager came out to greet and assist us immediately. Very clean room and pool looked nice. 15 min walk to town. Would be nice to have a safe in the room. 3 stars should be interpreted loosely.

Decent hotel for a good price

Considering the incredibly high prices for tourists around Locarno and Ascona this no frills hotel is like a fresh breeze.

The room was comfortably sized with decent beds, mattrasses and a good bathroom.

Internet coverage and speed was very good. A few cable channels were available as well.

Reception staff speaks English pretty well. They were also very friendly and went out of their way to help.

We were here for one night only but it was a very pleasant stay.The hotel is modern and the rooms are clean and well furnished.The bed was very comfortable and we slept well.The breakfast,which was included in the price,was excellent.All the staff are friendly and speak good English.There is also a lounge and bar in the hotel.

Easy base to surrounding area

Nice, modern hotel with pleasant pool area to escape city summer heat. Room was pleasant. Staff was very helpful in suggesting restaurants and providing late night wine and coffee. Easy location when driving to visit Ascona, valleys and southwest side of the lake.

receptionist is a very simpathic indian gentleman and he's very helpful. Service a little bit \"automated\" overall, but I think that's the problem when you go to this festivals. So they know they will sell their rooms anyway, because demand is huge!

Wir waren mit einem Baby da. Das Zimmer war sehr grosszügig und beim Frühstück wurde uns ein Babystuhl angeboten.


Der Poolbereich ist sehr sauber und die Lage ist praktisch zwischen Locarno und Ascona. Somit ist man zu Fuss oder mit dem Bus flexibel für Ausflüge.

Die Zimmer sind recht ringhörig, was uns aber für eine Nacht nicht gestört hat.

Tessin, wunderschoen!!

Wir hatten einen schoenen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel liegt etwas ausserhalb von Locarno, aber nicht zu weit vom City Center. Man kann auch bequem nach Ascona laufen. Der Pool ist gepflegt und das Fruehstuecksbuffet hatte eine gute Auswahl. Mit der Gaestekarte konnte man den Bus benutzen, sodass man kein Auto vorort braucht.

Gute, Preiswerte Unterkunft

Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort. Wir waren zu dritt in einem geräumigen Zimmer. Es war ein warmer Tag und so war es auch im Zimmer recht heiss. Man konnte aber einen Ventilator laufen lassen. Die Dusche ist recht klein, was an sich nicht stört, doch so wird es bereits nach einer kurzen Dusche recht tropisch im Bad, was einen dann gleich wieder schwitzen lässt. Die Sauberkeit war meiner Meinung nach ausreichend.
Das Frühstück war einfach, aber durchaus zufriedenstellend.
Würde es für den Preis sicher wieder besuchen.

L’ingresso quasi non si vede, soprattutto la sera, essendo poco illuminato e coperto da auto in sosta. La struttura è poco gradevole, con questo cemento armato a vista. La piscina è microscopica e la colazione abbastanza scarsa nell’assortimento soprattutto dei salati.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden, Preis Leistung stimmte. Dank dem Umstand, dass wir ein Zimmer mit Balkon hattten, diese sind von der Strasse abgewandt, konnte wir gut mit geöffnetem Fenster schlafen.

Gutes Stadthotel

Hotel ist insgesamt sauber. Zimmer OK, dem Standard entsprechend. Nur leider ist das Gebäude sehhrgellhörig. Wirhatten ein Zimmer im 1. Stock und bekamen die Köroerpflege (Duschen, etc.) unserer Nachbarn auf dem gleichen Stock und von oben unvermittelt mit.
Parkplatzsituation wäre noch verbesserungswürdig.
Ansonsten ist es aber ein empfehlenswertes Stadthotel für einen Kurzaufenthalt.

Hübsches Hotel in sehr guter Lage. Nahe der Bushaltestelle. Schnell im Zentrum, am Lido oder der Maggia. Direkt neben dem Hotel liegt der sehr schöne Fussweg entlang der Maggia. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes, grosszügiges Zimmer, Richtung Locarno mit einem schönen Eckbalkon. Leider mussten wir in der Badewanne duschen und diese war sehr rutschig, wirklich gefährlich. Angenehmer wäre eine Dusche oder dann eine Wannenmatte. Das Frühstück ist wunderbar und es wird ständig alles aufgefüllt. Sehr nettes Personal. Das Pool ist einfach herrlich:-)

Tolles Hotel in der Nähe von allem Wichtigen

Kleines aber feines Zimmer. Total sauber und gepflegt.
Sehr freundlicher Empfang und flotte Bedienung beim Frühstück.
Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und ausreichend, gemütlicher kleiner Speisesaal.
Man bekommt bei der Ankunft gleich ein GA für die Dauer des Aufenthalts der in der ganzen Region für Bus und Zug sowie für Vergünstigungen bei diversen Bahnen gültig ist.
Kleines Manko: Die Wasserarmaturen auf dem Zimmer müssten ersetzt werden, sie klemmen und tropfen wenn nicht fest zugedrückt wird.

Gutes Hotel an nicht ganz ruhiger Lage!

Saubere und zweckmäßige Zimmer, feines Frühstück, nettes Personal.
Negativ ist die eher laute Läge an einer vielbefahrenen Strasse und neben einer Tankstelle. Unser Zimmer auf Straßenseite und die nicht schallfesten Fenster waren für einen ruhigen Schlaf unmöglich. Ich kann hier leider keine Bestnoten geben!

Udmærket Comfort og roligt område.

Som udgangspunkt et fint hotel med morgenbuffet,dog af den lidt mindre slags. Ikke det store at vælge mellem.
WIFI'er er dog helt ude og virker stort set ikke - så selvom de skriver den er gratis, hvilket den er, så virker det bare slet ikke hurtigt nok. Mails er ikke værd at prøve at sende.

Meget fleksibel mht til tidspunkt for indtjekning, da vi kørte fra Danmark, og blev forsinket til deres tjek in deadline kl 22, så var dette ikke et problem. Der sad en ældre herrer og tog i mod os da vi ankom ca 22.45.

Ok priser i minibaren - man bliver ikke flået.

Waren auf der Durchreise, wollten Locarno, Ascona, den Lago Maggiore und das Tessin sehen.
