I stayed two nights at this hotel. My room was a bit different than advertised. I had a skylight and a portal, so the room was large but a bit dark and with no view other than the sky. The furniture was a bit dated, but in good shape and the bed was comfortable, although the desk in my room was a bit damaged (laminate missing). However, the bathroom was newly renovated and very upscale which was nice. It was great to have a nice hot shower to soothe the muscles after hiking. Breakfast was also great--much better than I expected. Highly recommend paying the extra money. Finally, a bonus! The hotel comes with the Ticino pass, and I made excellent use of this. Overall, I would 100% stay again but would request a different room.

Food is very good but unfortunately my partner is coeliac and had only 1 item on menu suitable. Though breakfast was catered for gluten free needs.

There aren't many hotels in Bellizona and fortunately the International is pretty good. The rooms are larger for Switzerland and the bathroom is surprisingly easy to use. It also has AC - sort of. Unfortunately the International is also on the pricey side and falls a little short with thin towels and even thinner pillows for this price point. But all in all, it's very good and I would go back.

Hotel is directly across the street from the train station. Clean and modern hotel, with a great buffet breakfast included. Ask for a room in the back with balcony, and you'll have a beautiful view of the mountains. Close to the town, we hiked to all three castles easily from the hotel. Stayed for one night in July. A perfect stop over from lake Como to Lucerne. Highly recommend.

First discovered that the shower in our original room (203) was broken and struggled to get WiFi signal. Then was awakened in the middle of the night to the air conditioner flooding our room. Had to completely pack up and change rooms in the middle of the night. As a regular traveler with Platinum status with Marriott, it’s something when I say I’ve never had to change rooms. Very disappointing experience.

Overall a very nice hotel. Clean modern rooms. The balcony was a nice surprise. It’s a bit expensive. The breakfast was incredible. The only negative was beyond the control of the hotel, but made my stay unpleasant nonetheless. People were outside yelling & screaming all night long, well past 06:30 am. It was a Saturday night, but it wasn’t what I expected from a small mountain town.

Cheaper Places Elsewhere for What You Pay.

Room was average. Overpriced for the size and luxury, typical of the area, however. Paid the full parking rate though we were unable to park beneath the building (and had to walk in the rain) as parking was full which I thought was poor. Get there early if you want to be guaranteed a spot. Breakfast would be a 6.5/10 and was inconsistent. Day one the scrambled eggs were absolute garbage - completely overcooked. On day two they were much better at first but the second batch was just as bad as day one. Other meals (mixed porrage) was inconsistent as well; different from batch to batch even during the same sitting.

Nice hotel in a good location The breakfast was good with meats, fresh fruit, hard-boiled eggs, pastries and good coffee. The room was nice and we were upgraded. The Internet connection was strong. The staff was professional, but not friendly. I thought the room was expensive for a three star hotel. The location was great because it was near the castles. The restaurants near the hotel were very expensive for the quality of food provided.

After a full day of traveling around multiple cities in Switzerland, my friends and I booked this hotel last minute while on the train. We all had a very good experience. The staff were all very friendly and speak fluent English. The price was very reasonable and the room was a decent size. The bathroom is very modern and clean. If ever in the area again I would stay here and I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Great hotel for our family trip

This hotel had something for everyone in our family. The location was lovely. Although our room didn't have a view of the lake we could enjoy the view from the many public areas. Our children enjoyed the pool and game area. We had the family room which was spacious and quiet. The buffet breakfast was very good as well. This hotel also has quite a bit of history. Check out the museum room as well.

Me and my son stayed here for a weekend trip to see the Verzasca Valley and the Bellinzona castles. The small but nice spa included in the hotel was a pure bonus on top of an already great weekend. It's not a luxury hotel, but I have no complaints. Service, breakfast, room - everything was at least good.

Our stay was marred by a downpour, but the hotel was quick to lend us umbrellas. The staff couldn't have been more engaging and helpful (fluent English spoken, incidentally). Excellent breakfast the following morning. Car parking is a little way away ... only downside that comes to mind.

Great Value by Swiss Standards

My husband and I took a train to Bellinzona to visit its castles and were charmed by the town's beautiful buildings, three castles and excellent restaurants. The Internazionale staff is helpful and the hotel is in convenient walking distance to all the sights, very clean and pleasant. We found the price to be very reasonable by Swiss standards. Although the shower was excellent, I like baths and was disappointed to be informed that baths were only available by upgrading to a suite. The spa and gym facilities were nice and the breakfast was excellent. I would stay at the Internazionale again even though the bed was harder than I like (but fine for my husband) and the only chair in the room was out of acrylic.

Directly across from the train station and near the castles. Rooms were clean but small. In the US, this would be a mid-priced business class hotel, so not sure why such glowing reviews. The worst is parking if you have a car. We were forced to park 4 blocks away and told it would cost 12CHF day. When we went to retrieve the car it was actually 31 CHF per day. Apparently we were supposed to get a ticket from the front desk, for the hotel rate, but it was never offered. Thankfully the hotel manager made it right on our bill.

Good stay, except the hammering

We loved everything about the hotel except that we were NOT warned about the construction. Every 15-20 minutes a jackhammer blasted away LOUDLY at what sounded like the room next door or directly above ours. The scaffolding was right outside our window. I would have appreciated being given an option to go else where.

I liked this hotel because it was in front of the train station. My room was a bit dark. I was given a room in the attic with one small round window and a blind that you could open in the ceiling. They had given me a quote in Hotels.com, but then the hotel contacted me saying I had to pay $25 more a night. I accepted this, only because I did not have enough time to look for another hotel.

This hotel did not live up to expectations from the photos and descriptions on the website. Room was very compact, no tea/coffee making facilities and only one English language TV channel. Front desk service was perfunctory rather than welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was fairly basic and unappealing.Not one of our better choices.

I chose this hotel because it was close to the train station and the castles and I wanted to be able to walk everywhere. It is literally right across the street from the train station, which is very convenient but you can also hear trains late into the night though as long as you keep the window shut all the way you can't hear them too much! My room was very comfortable and clean. Be aware that most of the town shuts down on Sundays (though the castles are open). It is very easy to walk to the castles and around downtown from this hotel. The staff at the front desk were always nice and welcoming. The attached restaurant wasn't bad, I got a pizza which was good but nothing super special. I did not eat breakfast or visit the spa or fitness facilities. The shampoo and body wash in the shower were great and smelled really good and there were entire bottles so you could use as much as you want. Overall, I wish the price point was a little bit lower, but I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Ideal Location - great comfort - lovely service

Going to a concert in Locarno, we could not find a room there, so decided to stay in Bellinzona which is only a 20 minute train ride away. Chosen primarily for convenient location just across the road from the train station, the Internazionale turned out to be a real find. Very recently renovated, the old building provided small but very stylish sleek and quiet rooms (standard double) with super comfortable beds and a great shower. The room's air conditioning was quite possibly the quietest ever and very efficient, creating a cool and very comfortable atmosphere withouth any draughts, hums or otherwise negative "side effects". Staff were very helpful and friendly, speaking a multitude of languages. Breakfast is - as often in Europe - simple but not bad value at CHF 8.00 / person. Overall very happy and would certainly stay again.

The stay was comfortable. I only needed to stay a single night so it was good. Location was perfect for me. Room was clean. Free Internet. Breakfast was ok. Surprisingly I did not get disturbed by the noise outside even though I was directly above the restaurant.

We had a great time in Bellinzona. The hotel in central to everthing including the key Castes. Also, it is right across from the trainstation and express bus from Malpensa, making it very easy to get to. Rooms have been redone nicely. Our only negative, which can be easily avoided is to avoid the top floor, which has small round portal windows which are very low and do not give a view. But, the hotel immediately moved us, which is consistent with the high level of service.

Lovely Hotel, but VERY expensive.

This was a lovely hotel, recently refurbished with clean, modern rooms. It is a short walk from the station and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. However, the cost was absurd for this room. A few days later we stayed at the Basel Airport Hotel where the room was two and a half times the size, better appointed, but a third of the price.
Summary - nice hotel - way too expensive for what is on offer.

The hotell is nicely placed by the train and buss station. There is a short walk to the city center, but the staff were very helpful with tips on where to go. The room was quiet, clean, dealt big and in general good. The staff was happy to check us in early, and we got a free room upgrade.

Da mein Mann kurzfristig geschäftlich reisen musste habe ich ein Zimmer bei euch gebucht. Als ich ankam hat man mir das Zimmer im Keller katapultiert.... keine Sicht und dunkel. チェックインの時の男性スタッフはきちんとした丁寧な対応で（特別フレンドリーというわけではありませんが）したが、チェックアウトの時の女性スタッフは非常に愛想が悪くつっけんどんな態度で、後味が悪かったです。
駅の目の前でとても便利、中心地まで簡単に歩くこともできて、ロケーションは文句なし。
部屋はシンプルで、スイス独特のすっきり美しい感じはありません。

Elegante e confortevole hotel centrale di fronte alla stazione di Bellinzona con ristorante. Semplice ma buona la colazione. Wifi pessimo, impossibile pensare di lavorare o utilizzare streaming. Basterebbe installare WiFi Mesh per ottenere copertura ottimale in tutta la struttura. Alcuni segni di incuria nella camera (pavimento cheap, lavandino graffiato, mobile usurato)
