The staff was helpful, the room was clean, water was hot in the morning, all these are good things. However we arrived late from travel for a Sunday at check in about 4 PM and the in house restaurant apparently is closed on Sunday's and Mondays, so we were out of luck with that regard. Initially told that the next door property had a coffee shop but it was closed also.

We didn't use pool or hot tub only because we were passing through, however it looked clean and in good shape. The bed was OK, the AC slightly noisy, so we turned it off.

Overall Better than some, not as Good as others, but considering the price we're giving others the choice to decide on their own. Parking and security was Good and FREE.

Room smelled like smoke! Staff didn’t want to move room claimed all booked! They sprayed room 2x helped a little.
Wife uses c-pap machine and not healthy to have even trace of smoke.
Staff informed us one of maids are smokers but could have been guest smoking by window. Told to speak to manager which was a waste of time!
Disappointed same usual don’t care about customer attitude!

Decent hotel for our visit to Joshua Tree NP. It’s a bare bones hotel, but it was clean for the most part. We did note some stains on the carpet and the ceiling looks like it was recently and hastily patched up due to some water damage. But it was not leaking during our stay, so that’s a plus.
Staff is friendly. Parking is plentiful and free. Wifi is free although we did not use it.

The room was big and AMAZING! Great A/C, Clean bathroom with lots of space, great couch and chairs, great lighting and bedding. I did not have time to swim or try the hot tub, but I will come again to try them! Outdoor kitchen and grills looked great! Beautiful wall murals in respect of veterans was really nice also. Everything was clean and nice. The staff were excellent and cordial. It's not the most fancy of places, but it was quiet, peaceful, and clean and I coudln't ask for more on a relaxing trip to the desert.

The pool and hot tub were both clean and very enjoyable. The lounge chairs were nice and not broken. However the online photo didnt exactly match what was actually there. The staff were all very, very nice. The rooms were spacious and very relaxing.

Staff gave a warm welcome at check-in. There's loads of free parking. WiFi is spotty depending where you are in the building - tonnes better on the ground floor so go there for any big downloads.

Room was spacious and comfortable. The ice machine had been removed from our floor but this wasn't a massive issue. The in room coffee machine was appreciated as were the complimentary toiletries.

The air conditioner worked fine. Unfortunately, it's the type of unit that cycles on and off throughout the night. We ended up turning it off which was our choice. Fortunately, it was not that hot the night we stayed. We also understand that issue has nothing to do with the staff.

The room was cleaned but smelled really bad to the point we purchased a bottle of Lysol to spray all over the room to try and mask the odor. I believe it was the carpet or the AC putting off the bad odor. Didn’t really bring it up with the front desk as we were only two nights and not in the room much. Carpet had some stains in between the beds so could have had a food spill previously.

Kind of a quirky place in the middle of the desert, with the goat, sheep and big steer on the grounds. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Free drinks while gambling. The restaurant served great breakfasts. Try the hash browns.

This is a good location to visit Death Valley from. Enjoy!

Not many options in this town, and even less at a reasonable price. Oasis was decent overall. Room wasn’t 100% clean, but it wasn’t gross either. Toilet/plumbing has some issues. Those were the “bad” parts. Staff was friendly, parking was plentiful and free, and again the price fur what you get was very good.

Room was clean. A bit outdated furniture. There are no USB ports so bring wall plugs to charge devices. Really can't complain. It's a decent hotel. Bed was comfortable. Location was good. There's a grocery store next door and a restaurant right in front by the reception desk. Wish we tried it out while we were there. It was raining so no pool use for us. The gym is really small with not much equipment: two different treadmills and a sit down stationary bike. Not too far from Joshua Tree where we went. Would stay again.

There’s no breakfast or food options but place is close to several eating places. Walkable to Burger King and grocery stores. Hotel gym is clean however very minimal. Swimming pool is decent and hot tub works. WiFi connection was terrible and all guests were complaining. Considering phone network is non existent not having WiFi is crippling. Bathroom shower knob was uncontrolled and giving hot water all the time. I am still giving it 3 stars because for a short 1-2 days and price I got I won’t complain. Also as I mentioned location is good, place looks safe.

According to hotel staff, they didn't receive our room details, so weren't prepared to give us a Suite. After inquiry they switched our room- thankfully having one available.

Pool & hot tub were great. Bathroom in room only had one soap bar- would've been nice to have one for the shower, too. Better yet, the shower could've had a soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispenser. Avoiding waste but making these items available to guests is nice.

There was no conditioner available at all. (\"Conditioning shampoo\" is a marketing ploy.) There was no Decaf coffee available. Also skimpy on pillows since most of us sleep with more than one.

Overall it was OK but definitely could've been better.

I was told that Expedia does not tell the hotel that I booked for 4. The hotel front desk told me that she couldn't give me 2 towels (the room only had 2) because she only had me as one person in the room. In the future I should book directly with the hotel. After I'm told many times she couldn't give me towels, she finally said that it's an exception to give me the needed 2 towels. I only knows about this hotel because I used the Expedia, and I feel I was lectured for no proper reasons. If they don't have a good relations with Expedia, please remove your hotel from their site, and if you continue, please work your communications with Expedia. Please do not punish the guests for we have no understanding of your situations. Thank you.

The room was what we expected it to be - nothing fancy, but clean, safe, and comfortable enough. Conveniently located close to Joshua Tree national park, which is what we were there for. Staff was friendly. The main frustration for us is they have a weird rule where they only give you two towels and you have to bring your dirty ones to them before they’ll give you clean ones. Makes it pretty inconvenient when there’s multiple people staying in the room trying to shower at the same time. Highly recommend getting rid of this rule because it was super annoying and I doubt anyone is actually stealing poop towels. Not sure why there’s a limit.

The staff at arrival were awesome. The rooms are basic and do not have amenities for guest staying a week. There are no hooks, only six hangers in the tiny open clothes rack, an empty room on our floor where ice and vending should have been, etc. The rooms were clean but the common areas could have used vacuuming and freshening. Housekeeping would remove 3 towels and only leave 2. They would forget to leave a bath mat for a tile floor. The toilets do not want to flush. The room doors close VERY loudly (actually slam) on their own and very inconsiderate neighbors would let them slam over and over and over, including at 2:00AM. Each time it felt like a bomb went off in our room. The coffee makers in the room only brew one small cup at a time and were honestly too much trouble to bother with. The café in the lobby does not open until 4:00PM and there is nowhere to get a quick bite to eat in the morning or a decent cup of coffee unless you leave the hotel. No coffee is provided in the lobby for guests. The only coffee shop open early in town is a Starbucks almost 3 miles away, so if you prefer a light roast you are completely out of luck without driving quite a distance to Joshua Tree or Yucca Valley. The front desk is often temporarily unmanned which makes it difficult if you are gone most of the day and need something at night. It is a small town so there is not a big selection of name brandnhotels. If you are used to the amenities, you may get a little frustrated here.

I got scolded at check-in for using hotels.com to book my stay(it made the desk clerks job more difficult). There was no access to the restaurant from inside the hotel, the doors were padlocked. The a/c was not up to par, and I couldn’t find the ice machine. The bed and pillows were fine.
