Hotel is nice and clean and next to subway. There are no restaurants in walking distance but plenty of restaurants at the next subway station. Overall great experience except that the cleaning staff broke the toilet seat and the hotel staff told me they won’t have have a repair person until the next day so I should use the toilet without seat? I ended up taking it apart and repairing it myself.

One of the worst Marriott Courtyards ever. (1) Hirribke location with poor signage and very very very hard to find (2) Limited space to park near door to check in (3) NO PARKING LOT AFFILIATED WITH HOTEL! (4) NO BREAKFAST INCLUDED. Never stay here!!! It cost over €20 per person, (5) Underground parking lot cost €22-25 for 10 hours. Staff did not know if there was an elevator into hotel of where it came into hotel. (6) So add €75-80 for normally free items of bottled water, parking and breakfast. (7) Check in staff could not speak English or German well enough to communicate. (8) No bottled water in rooms. (9) When I went to bar at 9:00 pm for bottle of water, the 60 year old bartender was demonstrably put out to have to get me a bottle of water which I paid for…. As a Marriott Bonvoy member I am very disappointed.

As other comments said, shower room easily get wet.
Though it is cleaned up every day and towels are changed, used cups are not changed and floor is not cleaned up. They put the cup up side down to pretend they have changed.. I have to say it does not have courtyard quality.
Front guys were frienly.

Probably the worst Marriott/hotel
AC did not work in the room - Temperature in Munich was above 30 deg C and probably not far from that in the room and no complimentary bottles of water were offered. I found this unacceptable as I was staying with my children. I had to pay € 15 for 2 bottles of water. There was no room service and you could not even get a bowl of chips.When you are paying about £300 for 2 nights you expect better service- especially when the hotel is badged as a Marriott.

The check in process was super delayed - at our 3:00 check in the apologized and said our room isn’t ready and that it’ll be ready in 40-50 mins. We waited in the lobby for an hour, then went back and they said it’ll be another 40 minutes. Besides that, our stay was lovely. The u-bahn is a 2 minute walk away - super convenient!

We ended up at this hotel after our flight was cancelled. We spent 2 nights here and it was very comfortable. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, but did enjoy coffee in the lobby in the afternoon and had a wonderful dinner there. The hotel is situation on a college campus, so there aren’t a lot of dining options near by, but we did find a cafe within walking distance. There is also public transportation available.

Dont go there if your flight is cancelled and you want to eat dinner. We showed up at 9pm. Front desk said kitchen is open for 40 more minutes. So, we immediately went to the bar (restaurant was closed). After waiting 15 minutes for staff to acknowledge us, i flagged down a young lady and told her we would like to eat. She handed me ywo menus and went behind the bar and poured some drinks. I eventually let her know that when she was done I was ready to order. In the interim my wife went to the room to see if room service was available and faster (neither to both). After about another ten minutes the young lady finished with her drinks. When i told her what we wanted she said the kitchen was closed. FYI: it was still earlier than the listed closing time.

At check in, I was not informed about wifi, breakfast hours, whether breakfast was included with the room, or where to find the elevator. I also did not receive an offer to help with my bags.
I thought the staff could have been friendlier at both check in and check out.
The signage around the property could have been better. The hotel is in the middle of a complex and it would have been helpful to have some signs pointing to the hotel entrance.
It would have been nice for the property to have a discount deal with the parking garage.
When I checked out, I mentioned a small problem with the room (shower drain cover was loose). I could tell this was going to be ignored.
I also wanted to check out of 1 of 2 rooms I had booked and was told that they wanted to do them at the same time. I had checked out of 1 of 2 rooms at other hotels during the trip. This was an exception. There was no “sorry for the inconvenience” expressed.
The room was clean.
The hotel was well maintained.

This hotel is in a very isolated area. The hotel itself is beautiful and the room was fantastic. The downside is there is nothing in that area as far as restaurants etc. although there is a restaurant on property. Also, I booked this room bc it listed Air conditioning as an amenity while other hotels did not. Sadly, the only control you have over the AC is from 18-20° Celsius. You can literally dial between 3 setting, and none actually blow cold air. We stayed on a rather warm June day, and could NOT get comfortable in the room or sleep bc it was so hot in our room. Thats ridiculous. It’s a shame bc it’s a beautiful property. Would be nice to stay here if it’s winter and you don’t require AC.

In general we enjoyed staying in your hotel, the only small criticism that we can mention, was the toilet roll holder which is mounted in the wrong position. The breakfast was fairly priced with an excellent spread.

Great hotel..but more staff needed

Hotel is well maintained, fresh and open. Rooms are spacious, well laid out and comfy. The issue here was the bar and restaurant staff being totally overwhelmed. Only 3 staff to cater for a busy week at the hotel. Waiting over 45 minutes for simple bar food and having to wait long peroids to have a drink refreshed. This is no fault of the staff, they worked hard and cautiously to endeavour to assist everyone. There just needed to be more of them!

It is a fair hotel for the ones traveling between cities. The room had a lot of dust, but no carpet.The only awkward thing is that the reception and breakfast is located across the street on the gas station. If you arrive late is kind of scary. But other than that it is an ok hotel.

This one of the worst experience with Marriott

I have booked a room for 3 adults, while on the arrival I have realized that the room is too small for even 2 people. when I asked if the room can be upgraded - I was told that the hotel is overbooked and there are no bigger rooms available. I told the staff that I'm Marriott Elite Gold member and would appreciate if the hotel would find any chance to get us bigger room during our stay from June 29 through July 6. I was checking every day since then while without any success. It appears that as long as i booked the hotel via Hotels.com (not directly via marriott) I'm no longer treated as Marriott Elite Gold. It was extremely hot in Munich during our stay and the AC system in my room was not working I was told that it is hot outside (28-29C) and the HVAC can't cope with the heat, while the temperature in the corridor was OK. Chip and poor quality towels in the bathroom, size too small and just two per person. No slippers for guests. The shower gel and shampoo provided in extremely small tubes and quantities. I had to request to refresh the shower consumables several times as it was just not enough. The Shower compartment had no door/curtain so once any of us would take a shower the entire bathroom was flooded. We didn't feel as guest in this hotel. The front desk personnel not friendly at all. No wish to make your stay comfortable. I wonder if other marriott hotels in Munich are treating guest in the same way. At least my family and I are extremely disappointed.

It's a great property in a very quiet area near the university. There are no restaurants or nightlife in the immediate area, but the hotel is adjacent to the Underground train, and it's a quick stop to the old part of town, and another fairly short ride to downtown Munich!

Very helpful staff, room was spotless and quiet, beds were comfortable but not quite firm enough for our liking (although not a major issue at all). Nothing in the immediate vicinity in terms of shops, restaurants, bars (apart from hotel restaurant and bar) but the U6 line is 1 minute walk from the hotel and will get you anywhere very quickly (15-20 minutes to Marienplatz). Also convenient for the airport. Would recommend and would stay here again.

Wir haben zu erst ein anderes Zimmer bekommen. Hatten Delux mit einem Bett reserviert und ein Zimmer mit zwei Doppelbetten bekommen. Konnte sich and der Rezeption klären. An sich ist das Hotel ok, Frühstück geht aber für den Standard besser.

Leider war die Unterkunft nicht entsprechend wie es am Telefonat versprochen war. Keine Rollstuhl gerechte Dusche und Toilette. Auch die Rollstuhl-Toilette im Lobby war nicht benutzbar. Deswegen musste unser Sohn der im Rollstuhl sitzt und nicht stehen und laufen kann erst seine Morgentoilette unterwegs am Rastplatz vor nehmen . Sonst war das Zimmer super .

Katastrophal! Wir haben ein Zimmer bekommen und es war bereits jemand drin. Es lag ein Koffer auf dem Bett und Kleidung.
Wir haben das der Rezeption gemeldet. Es wurde uns erst nicht geglaubt und dann ein anderes Zimmer gegeben!

Kein Entgegenkommen des Hotels, wie Parkgebühren erlassen oder Rückerstattung des Frühstücks etc.

All'apparenza la struttura sembra un edificio elegante e moderno. Le camere sono nella media. Tuttavia mancavano completamente shampoo, balsamo e bagnoschiuma. C'era solo un rotolo di carta igienica. La colazione era decente anche se ci hanno spostati perché avevamo con noi un piccolo cane, oltretutto educatissimo...la struttura di dichisra pet friendly.... La mattina non hanno pulito la camera, non hanno cambiato le lenzuola né spezzato in bagno. Soprattutto non hanno ricaricato shampoo, balsamo e bagnoschiuma. Alla mia richiesta per avere carta igienica e i suddetti prodotti mi hanno dato solo un rotolo di carta igienica e un piccolissima saponetta. Rapporto qualità prezzo assolutamente sconveniente.

Check-in og check-ud fungerede perfekt.
Rummet (junior suite) var klargjort og levede op til forventningerne
Rengøring fungerede ikke. Der var ingen rengøring dag nr. 1, og ej heller rene drikkeglas eller kaffekopper. Ingen genopfyldning af kaffe, etc. Ved henvendelse til reception/ rengøringspersonale fik vi kun det, vi bad om af ovennævnte. Eksempelvis glemte vi at bede om nye kaffekopper (pap), hvorfor vi ingen fik. Personalet manglede helt klart en standardrutine.
Dag nr. 2 kom rengøringen kl. 08:40, hvilket vi afviste, da vi var igang med at pakke for at checke ud.
