It was the perfect last night stay before flying out of MUC the next morning. Aldi was right across the street for last minute items. the hotel room had everything needed. The pillows might need to be replaced, were pretty flat. Clean, easy on-street parking, and well appointed. Could definitely use a refrigerator.

The rooms were comfortable and spacious. It took quite some time to check in due to the rooms not being ready. Couldn’t check in for almost an hour. It was very upsetting to see other guest check in while we waited in the lobby for an hour after traveling on a plane for 10 hrs overnight and a 7 hr time difference. They did try to make it up by giving us some free drinks in the bar. That we appreciated.

Staff were absolutely fabulous in the bar and dining area along with reception.

My only negative was having paid nearly €1000 for a 2 night stay ,that i was not entitled to breakfast without an additional €18 charge.

Felt this was extremely greedy as i was also spending €100 each evening at dinner.

Place is also a bit out of the way for attending Bauma in the midst of an industrial area with the exception of an Aldi within walking distance.

The staff really make this a wonderful property to visit. Everyone was so helpful and kind. No real shuttle service from the airport, and taxi was quite pricey. The room was quiet and the food in the restaurant was very good. Not much around the hotel as far as sight seeing, but to be able to get some rest before traveling further into the country, it was great!

We stayed for four nights during Oktoberfest. The hotel was clean, well stocked, comfortable, and the staff were very kind and pleasant. The breakfast buffet was great if it’s not included in your room I highly recommend adding it. The bar staff were fantastic, Tamari was especially kind and helpful with all of our questions as we were Canadians travelling to Europe for the first time. Theres a few restaurants and shops in the area, we really enjoyed Ratschillers for coffee and baked goods and Konigs Gastatte for dinner. We took the S Bahn into Munich and highly recommend this over taking a taxi or Uber. With high traffic it actually is shorter to take the train than to drive.

Service und Höflichkeit schreibt man hier klein!!

Einfach nur unglaublich, es war 23h und wir sollten uns nach einem neuen Hotel umsehen. Überforderter Mitarbeiter konnte auf Grund eines \"Systems-Updates\" die Buchung nicht finden und lässt einen deshalb nicht einchecken. Obwohl man ihm die Buchungsbestätigung (!) zeigte, vorgeschlagen hat seinen Perso oder Bargeld an der Rezeption bis zum nächsten Morgen zu lassen, um es dann mit der Frühschicht zu klären, war keinerlei Bereitschaft für eine Lösung zu erkennen, sondern man wurde noch angeschnauzt! Service und Lösungsorietierung schreibt man hier leider ganz ganz klein.

The only thing I liked was that I knew the area because I stayed there last year. Last year's stay 2017 was phenomenal, but this review is for my 2018 stay was left a bad taste in my mouth..so much so that will stay there again. I will elaborate, I booked my trip the first week of june through expedia. I only choose and filter hotel options based on FREE breakfast. Expedia had this hotel listed as one when I placed my booking. We get to the hotel and they advise me that they changed the free breakfast option in may and again I booked the trip the first week of June. expedia had NOT updated this information and the hotel was not at all accommodating. On top of that the bathroom had the most god awful smell. the staff was even subpar. This was a horrible hotel stay, I will not be staying at this hotel again and may have to think twice before using expedia again.

Fantastic Hotel, made the Holiday very special!

Staying here was amazing, the room was thoroughly cleaned and ready for use every day very promptly. The quality of the breakfast and restaurant was very good, the food and drink was good and a very reasonable price. Overall everything experienced here was very good at a very good price. The reception team and restaurant team were also very nice and very knowledgeable. They all spoke perfect English which was very nice considering my German is not good and very broken. The setting is very good too, nest door to a large Aldi and only a 20 min walk from the nearest train station or a 5-10 minute ride in a taxi which only costs around 10 Euro. The only complaint we had was the bathroom door handle was loose and came off once but we managed to put it back on. Would definitely come back here and definitely recommend.

Decent business hotel

The hotel is well located for the Ballhausforum and is very business orientated I think as the local area is mostly quite industrial and large businesses. This means it’s nice and quiet, but is maybe a 15 minute walk from the S-Bahn. The staff were all lovely and accommodating. They were able to check me in no problem despite being a few hours early. The reception staff all spoke really good English was a bonus for me as my German is quite basic. The breakfast is decent with a good selection. The bar also serves food which is good. Overall a nice hotel, though they clearly put the prices up a lot when there are conferences on as it was expensive!

Good location not far from city centre as well as good transport connections. Staff was very freindly and despite not knowing German was not a hinderence at all. Got all help from in terms of directions and attractions. Will stay again.

Travelled with my family and it's a very safe place to be with children.

Only thing I would like to see is to have a kettle in the room to have a morning tea in the room rather waiting for the break fast to start.

Amazing Breakfast, and great beds.

We had a great stay, our only issue as tourists was we found it far from the city center. After five days I couldn't see myself commuting to the city one more day. It was quite a walk to the train station, wait for the train then the train ride, we would estimate one hour and fifteen minutes in total if everything is running with no problems and one day it had a problem and we had to meet a tour bus downtown, we just made it. A room fridge would have been nice. So far it's the only hotel that hasn't had one during our European trip.

Completely above and beyond our expectations

Victor's Residenz was absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I stayed for three nights during the last weekend of Oktoberfest and we were blown away by the size of the standard double room (queen size bed), the comfort of the bed, the cleanliness of the room and hotels, and especially the complimentary breakfast. We could not believe are eyes and mouths when it came to the breakfast—salmon, fresh scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage and bavarian sausage, champagne, vodka, draft beer, pretzels, delicious breads and pastries, yogurt bar, and SO much more. The only downside to this hotel was that it was about an hour commute by public transit to Oktoberfest (15 minute walk to the s-bahn, 30 minute s-bahn ride, then another 10-15 minute walk from the stop to the Oktoberfest grounds), however for anyone who is renting a car or doesn't mind such a commute to Munich, this place is far worth the commute.

A number of points that need improvement the time delay to get taxi's is not at all good, had a taxi booked still took 45 mins to arrive. The key for the room needs to change to more modern swipe card. Charging for a fast wi-fi is just out of step fast Wi-Fi should be standard and a free service.

Outside of Munich, But Good Connection

Victor's Residenz-Hotel is outside the city center of Munich, but along the S-Bahn line to the city center and the area for the Oktoberfest, so getting into the city is fairly easy. There was plenty of street parking nearby. There was not much else nearby, such as restaurants, etc., since the hotel was in a residential area. Everything was clean and the restaurant was good. Given the sometimes high prices in Munich, this would be a good alternative.

Quiet Business Class Hotel just outside Munich

I had a nice room with wooded area view. Business class Hotel, not so much for tourists tho. Germanic efficiencies. The phones are hard to decipher. Breakfast superb and included in room. You have to try their Apple Struedel - for the $$ its the best around. Train is a short walk thru the nice town, about 15 minutes. The only real problem - last day I had a wake up call on the day of AM flight out of town - no call. This is almost inexcusable for any Hotel in my book, but did manage to get up with a watch alarm as backup. Overall, I would recommend, and they had to put up with my bad German.

The hotel was nice, the rooms were clean, the staff friendly but I couldn't give this a 5 for review because the internet blocks half the sites you go to. I understand if you don't want people gaming because it takes up a lot of bandwidth or looking at porn so you block that but you click on a site that might just be health/fitness and it gets blocked. Basic news was okay but half the stuff was blocked.
On the bright side, the breakfast buffet was really good and everyone spoke English well so besides the internet being a drag, I would come back to this hotel if I had to.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in recently

We have a tight budget for hotels for our work, so I never get to stay at the top hotels. But this one came in under my allocated budget, and was quite simply the very best I've stayed in for a long time. Staff who were always most agreable, accommodating and helpful. A superb breakfast. Free WiFi (not the fastest link, but perfectly adequate for e-mails and general browsing). If you wanted a faster connection, it was available as a paid-for additional service. And did I mention the stunningly good breakfast. I got the walking time to Untershlossheim station (S1) down to just over 10 minutes, once I discovered the entrance at the north end of the platforms. So walking was not much slower than the bus (which runs roughly every 20 minutes from the South entrance). Use the MVV web site to plan your train and bus journeys. Whilst the scrambled eggs left a bit to be desired, did I mention that otherwise breakfast was quite superb! Had a very nice and quite reasonably priced evening meal in the restaurant too.

This was a good value and convenient to the airport. The only criticism is that the pillows were terrible! Lumpy pillows were not up to the standard of this otherwise elegant business hotel. The hotel is located in a business park rather than a neighborhood so you cannot just walk to a local typical restaurant.

Great hotel with a great front desk staff

Very nice place to stay. The train is about a 15-20 minute walk which is not too bad because you get to see some of the surrounding area and get a nice walk. The bus is basicly at the end of the block. The resterant has excellent food quality. The steak was so tender it melted in my mouth. So people complain about the key being too heavy. I just left mine at the front desk each time i left. I will stay here again when I return. The front desk will do anything you need to make your stay eaier.

PROS: Great little hotel in quiet neighborhood. Right across the street from a foodmarket. 15 mins. from airport and city center. Rooms were a little bigger than most European hotels with a decent fridge.

CONS: Americans beware: there is no A/C. The S-Bahn stop is about 15 minutes walking to this hotel. Best to grab a cab if you have a lot of luggage. Costs 8-9 euros. Room had a kitchenette with no utensils.

Overall, I'd recommend this to couples and small families.

Victor's: Exceptional front desk service

Vicotr's was a wonderful and spacious place to stay. The breakfast buffet offered more than the traditional cold cuts and yogurt. The front desk staff was exceptionally helpful and genuinely friendly. We stayed with our young daughter and found that our accomodations included our room, PLUS an adjoining room with a separate bed, tv, and small kitchenette. The parking garage is underground and included in the price of your stay. We highly recommend Victor's!

This hotel was excellent to stay at. The staff and service throughout the whole hotel was A+. The only minor and I mean minor was the closeness to the train station. It was at least a 15 min walk which isn't bad but for the fact that it rained the whole weekend. Proximity to the train station would have been preferable. Other than that, not a thing to complain about!

Kaltenberger Muller is the BEST!!!! The airline lost out luggage and I was not very happy when I got to the hotel. He helped me about that because I don't speak German. I also purchased a SIMM card that didn't seem to be working and he again helped me with the customer service. This is a FABULOUS place to stay and EVERYONE was just wonderful to us. OH...did I mention that the breakfast was to DIE for??? Safe secure parking....everything was great!

We were initially disappointed at the distance from Munich, but after discovering how crowded Munich was, we were happy to be out of the crowds. In addition, it was an easy trip to Dachau. The room was nice and the staff was awesome. Highly recommended.

We were under the impression that this was an airport hotel-so we had booked it because we wanted it to be easy to catch an early flight the next morning...we were so wrong... first, we took the train to the stop where the hotel was- it was only about 20 min from the airport, however, when we got out, there were no cabs and the hotel is not walking distance from the train station. after a while we finally found a cab. we got to the hotel and the front desk was utter chaos- the side of the front desk is also a bar and the bartender doubles as the front desk clerk, so we had a lot of trouble trying to get someone to check us in. I tried to convert money and i was told that because the bar was so busy i could not do it at that time. we got to the rooms and there were no towels- we waited over an hour and after multiple calls to the front desk (which were mostly not answered- bc the bar was busy), we finally got towels. the excuse was that there was a delay because the bar was busy. The ridiculous thing is that directly across from the front desk is an actualy hotel bar- there wasnt anyone drinking there- yet tehre were 2 bartenders just standing around there....then we asked about morning train schedules and we were given all teh wrong info and almost missed our flight as a result. And the best part- we set 2 wake up calls- and didnt get any of them- when i asked at the front desk on my way out they told me they had no record of a wake up call for us. awful experience.

Amazing Time!

Victor's Residenz was definitely a welcome surprise -- I arrived with one other friend at the Unterschleissheim metro stop around 11 pm and after getting directions from very friendly locals, checked in around 11:30 pm. Since I was with a guy friend and I am female, we requested a room with two beds...they were out of them, so upgraded us to a suite. Not that they will always upgrade you to a suite, but I think this shows their service level well. Front desk personnel were very friendly and willing to suggest Munich attractions. Breakfast was wonderful! but a bit overpriced unless you are going to eat sausage and eggs (I only had fruit, coffe and bread so 15E was a bit much). But it's buffet and you can eat as much as you want so it's great for teenage boys :) The commute to Munich center is about 25 minutes and the train comes every 15 minutes. The lobby and common areas are nicer than the rooms, fitting of a business/event hotel, but the rooms are nice all the same. Lovely bathroom. All in all had a wonderful stay. Next time I return to Munich I will probably try to find a hotel in the city center, because it was a bit of a commute just to go in for dinner. But as I went for Oktoberfest and the city center hotels were outrageous, Victor's was perfect for us.

Good times.

Hotel was situated about 10 - 15 minutes from the train station. The breakfast wasn't included in the price of the hotel, however worth the money. Perhaps the largest selection I've seen in Germany. Very nice walking trails near by.

Das war mein erster Aufenthalt im Victor’s Residenz-Hotel, und ich werde dort nicht wieder buchen.
Schon in der ersten Nacht funktionierte das Licht im Badezimmer nicht, sodass ich das Zimmer wechseln musste. Im Ersatzzimmer war am nächsten Morgen das Waschbecken verstopft, also hatte ich innerhalb eines Tages zwei Probleme im zwei Bäder. Die Rezeption war freundlich und bot mir ein kostenloses Zimmer-Upgrade sowie einen Gutschein für ein Gratisgetränk an. Da die Bar am angegebenen Datum geschlossen war und ich keinen Alkohol trinke, war der Gutschein für mich faktisch nicht nutzbar. Das Frühstücksangebot war für mich als Veganerin ungeeignet. Das Essen wirkte insgesamt ungesund, und die Brötchen machten keinen frischen Eindruck.
Positiv war die ruhige Lage in Unterschleißheim, relativ nah zur S-Bahn und mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung. Für Menschen, die sich gesund ernähren und einen erholsamen, stressfreien Aufenthalt suchen, kann ich dieses Hotel jedoch nicht empfehlen.

Die Brötchen sind leider ohne Geschmack und Aufbackware aus der Kühlung, sicher würde es einen Bäcker geben, der frische Brötchen liefern könnte, das Vollkornbrot in Scheiben war schon wellig.....sonst alles weitere am Frühstück i.O.
Warum aber in der Dusche das Silikon schwarz verschimmelt ist, das muss es heute nicht mehr geben.
