I only planned on staying 3 days and somehow turned it into 2 weeks 😅 This hotel is next level. The views from the pool and balconies are absolutely unreal. The staff goes way above and beyond, and everything you need is literally within walking distance. No question about it — I’ll 100% be back.

Location: The hotel is very centrally located in the center of town, with views of the mountains no less. Get a room with a balcony, not facing the town.

Service: Front desk service was average at best. They weren’t the best trained crew, but no real complaints.

Lobby/General Space: While the lobby is large, there is only one elevator for the entire hotel. You might wait a while for it to come. Why they don’t have an automatic front door is beyond me.

Room: Sizable room with soft bed and pillows. Decent layout with master light switch to turn everything off from bedside. There are switches to turn on/off do not disturb signs (huge plus).

Bathroom: Decent size bathroom, but the showers are tight. The door opens in and requires some squeezing past to get in. On the other hand, the huge useless tub takes up all the extra space. Shower pressure is iffy and constantly changes temperature without the knob being adjusted. There could definitely be more hooks to hang things like towels.

Housekeeping: Solid and no complaints.

Nice view, easy access to restaurants and market.

The room is nice. Service are great as well as the breakfast. The view is also beautiful on the river side and from the swimming pool, it‘s really relaxing. Stay here for the second time, still love it. Only thing that should be improve is the air-con. Seemed like all the room we‘re staying this time including our friends‘ rooms, the air-con wasn‘t quite cool enough even though we‘re turning to only 18c with highest fan speed already.

By far my favourite stay in Laos. The property is beautiful, the rooms are very clean and up to date and the staff were very helpful with assisting to select and book excursions. The view from our room was spectacular; the gorgeous mountains are quite a thing to wake up to everyday. The pool is fantastic and the gym was definitely above average. Would absolutely come back, no hesitation.

It's definitely a quality hotel. Excellent water pressure too. The view at the rear of the property faces West and is quite beautiful, especially at sunset. If there is any trouble with a unit, management is quick to resolve in an acceptable manner. Would stay again.

Nice view. Good location. Super Great Breakfast Buffet. Friendly staff. Ok restaurant. Menu prices did match the online menu as they changed the prices of one menu before they changed the online menu prices and room menu prices. Comfortable and soft bed. Clean sheets. Bathroom has some mold that can be removed with bleach (haiter) and water. The air conditioning in the room was weak compared to the another room I previously occupied. The bathroom comes with shampoo, conditioned, shower gel, lotion, toothbrush and paste, a comb, and clean towels. The shower temperature and flow fluctuates. The room and bathroom door had greasy lotion hand prints that could have been easily cleaned. The pool has a relaxing view and outdoor bar. The gym looked clean and unused. Overall nice place.

Nice rooms with amazing views. Service could be better. I have a nice stay at the Amari Vang Vieng, the view from my river facing room was nothing short of spectacular, particularly at sunset. The pool is very large an also afford great views of the river, mountains and sunset. I was surprised that returning at 4 pm after a long day touring Vang Vieng my room wasn't made. This happened also to fellow travelers in another room. Room was made after a request was made.

Great location. Nearby restaurants, market and a motorbike rentalnplace. The staff is really helpful and friendly. The room is clean. We got room upgrade to river view from VIP which has a really nice view. Unfortunately there were quite heavy of PM2.5 and therefore it blocks the beautiful view in the morning and evening. The bathroom door need to be fixed as it’s really hard to close. Food is great, variety of option. Definitely great place to stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Amari Vang Vieng! I came with my spouse and 3 kids (6, 10 & 15). We all enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a very close walk to the night market, and surrounded by lots of hotels and food vendors. You won't have any problems finding food. The hotel staff were extremely helpful, and very friendly. Whenever we needed anything, they were more than happy to assist us. The view from the room to the river and mountains were so incredibly beautiful. I highly recommend it, and cannot wait to return.

A gem in Vang Vieng

It's my second time staying in Vang Vieng, Laos. This time, I chose to stay at Amari in Vang Vieng. The minute I arrived at the hotel, I realized that I left my luggage at the Wattay airport in Vientiane. Immediately I asked the hotel staff to help me find my lost luggage, and I have to mention his name, Ton Sibounheuang. Ton called his buddy who works at the airport and brought me my luggage the next day. I am thankful for the hospitality and genuine care of the staff. Thank you!

The staff was very unhelpful and unaccomadating. The AC in the room was not working. The staff did not try to help with changing rooms with the same grade suitw I had requested.

The staff was also very bad when telling me the pool was closing at 10. However when k came back from dinner, the staff said the pool closed since 8pm. However the pool information in the room posted it closes at 9. Very inconsistent imformation from the staff. I went to Amari when they first opened a few years ago, and loved the hotel until my most recent visit was very disappointing. I will have to look else where for a luxury hotel stay in Vang Vieng since Amari and their staff showed very bad service and accomodation. O rate amaro as a 1 star service hotel.

Very nice stay at this hotel. Nice and friendly staff. The view and sunset from the swimming pool are amazing. Just have a drink and enjoy the view. The food at the restaurant is good as well as the breakfast. The only cons is the city view from the room which did not exist because we had a wall in front of us.
If i go back to this city, i will for sure choose this hotel.

This hotel is centrally and conveniently located in Vang Vieng. There are plenty of eateries in the immediate vicinity. It is also a short distance away from the night market.

The lobby has a high ceiling and you feel welcome in the lobby. There are plenty of seating areas. Otherwise, you can head outside to the swimming pool, which has excellent views of the mountains on the other side. On the second floor, there is a small gym. You have dumbbells up to 25kg, one adjustable bench, stationary bikes and treadmills, as well as a combined machine.

I had the Superior King with River View. The room was spacious, with a rain shower option. There was also a balcony with a rack to dry your clothes, especially if you do any wet activities. The balcony also provides a great view of the mountains and the other side of the river. 4 600ml bottles are also provided each day. The TV had cable and you can watch shows on Nat Geo, HBO and FOX movies.

What I enjoyed here was the strong air conditioning which provided sufficient respite from the afternoon heat. Waking up to the mountain views was also a plus.

Overall, I would recommend staying here for a comfortable time in Vang Vieng.

Good location - ask for mountain view room on at least 3rd floor. Town gets a bit noisy at night but ends early. Morning's are very quiet. Pool was perfect, especially at sunset. Location good but not directly on river. Bicycle rental steps away. Large and diverse breakfast. Friendly staff with limited English

Lots of tour groups, could be bit noisy especially as we were not far from convention centre on 6th floor and music was on till gone midnight.
Room and staff nice but room was cleaned quickly and nothing replenished so we had to ask for toilet rolls, tea bags etc all the time not always getting a response.
Hotel itself is nice, well kept and rooms large and spacey. As a couple probably could have chosen a small hotel better suited to our needs. Pool area very nice and staff helpful at desk.

The hotel is in a good location with a great view, and it is the nicest the hotel in Vang Vieng.

However, as a brand new hotel, I expect it to be in a much better condition than it is. It was clearly a rushed job, and cheaply built. There are cracks and mistakes visible everywhere, the furniture is pretty battered looking, the toilet seat was broken and a hole in the shower wall near the fittings. Also, they neglected to install double glazed windows which it desperately needs, as the noise from the music across the river is intense. This goes on till midnight, and not even earplugs will block the noise (it was like having a rave in my room).

There were dead flies in my room and there was mould in the shower (which I normally expect from an older hotel, not one that is a few months old).

The pool area is very nice and there is a great view of the mountains. But it is spoiled by the nearby music from several bars, so not exactly relaxing. There aren't enough beds, and if you go in the afternoon, there is no shade due to the angle of the sun and the position of the umbrellas.

I had a balcony, but no furniture to sit on, which was odd.

The bed is extremely comfortable though. One of the comfiest I've slept on.

And last but not least, one of the hotel staff called me at 12:30 at night, waking me up... She rang in error but there was no apology from the hotel.

The price is expensive but overall the facilities are very good.
Located in the city centre, it is very accessible to tourist destinations. The pool was satisfactory, where you can swim and sunbathe with great views of the mountains. I stayed in a room with a view of the city, but I was disappointed because it was no better than a room with a view of the mountains.

Incidentally, there are too many many Koreans. You may be noisy in the early morning.

방비엥에서 몇 안되는 최고의 호텔입니다. 지은지 얼마 안되어서 청결하며 수영장, 뷰, 조식 뭐하나 나무랄게 없었습니다. 직원의 친절도 역시 최고였고 방비엥 중심에 있기에 어떤것이든 자유롭게 할 수 있었습니다. 다시 방비엥 여행을 하여도 꼭 이 호텔에 묵을것입니다.

Positiv: Schöner Pool in guter und herrlicher Lage.
Negativ: Das Hotel ist sehr hellhörig und wird vorzugsweise von Korianern belegt. Dementsprechend ist leider die nächtliche Lautstärke. Ebenso natürlich tagsüber am Pool. Alles im allem ist es zwar ein schönes Hotel, aber der Preis ist nicht angemessen. Ich würde dort nicht mehr buchen.

굉장히 만족스러운 숙소였습니다. 직원들 모두 친절하고 깨끗하고 숙소에 블루투스 스피커도 있어서 너무 좋았구요 위치 또한 메인스트릿에 있어 너무 좋았습니다.

편리한 위치의 호텔입니다

일단 위치가 너무 좋습니다 방비엥 핵심거리에 위치해있어요 2박을 머물렀는데 매우 쾌적하게 머물렀어요~ 12시 넘어서 체크인 했는데 직원분들이 계속 상주해 있어서 너무 편하고 또 친절했습니다 조식도 매우 훌륭해요 다만 방음이 좀 안되는게 흠이에요ㅜㅜ

최고의 위치와 편안함

방비앵의 가장 핫 한 거리에 있어 어디를 가든 무엇을 하든 가장 접근성이 뛰어난 곳에 위치해 있고 수영장 역시 매우 좋은 상태로 관리되고 있으며 밤늦은 시간의 수건이나 물품 요청에도 매우 친절히 응해 주었습니다. 다음에 방비앵을 간다면 생각의 여지 없이 머무를 호텔 입니다.

시내중심에 있어 밤에도 근처에 돌아다니기 편하고 시설, 서비스는 물론이고 음식도 꽤나 맛있습니다. 직원분들도 친절하십니다.
