This is an old run doen facility that tries to be a 3-star hotel. The door was old and the lock mechanism would notock properly.
Bathroom had no hot water. Bathroom light over the shower did not work as well. Don't book unless under $10/day. I checkdd put the same day i checked in and booked another hotel.

The pool was very dirty when we arrived and we told the staff. After 3 days it had been cleaned. But we couldn’t use it for 3 days!
The hotel room cleaning was erratic.
And the breakfast was limited.

This hotel, along with several others, offers a balcony with a great view of the river, mountains behind and passing hot air balloons but beware of the boat noise if spending any time in the room during the day.

Our room was in great need of an update. Torn curtains and comforter, a safe too small for a 14” laptop, redundant wall brackets from long removed towel bars, and low powered mismatched lighting were poor choices for replacing whatever had been there originally. Room chair and free-standing closet, like many chairs in the restaurant, remain unstable even with added unconcealed steel angle brackets.

The desk cabinet was left askew presumably by the previous guest for receptacle access. This is the only hotel in our >50 days in SE Asia where a receptacle adapter was needed for charging devices.

Room was not cleaned even with the tag hung on doorknob which may explain the long black hair in the bathroom seen on our arrival and the floor under the bed that hadn’t been swept in a measurable time.

On departure, we were asked if we’d consumed anything from the minibar but there never was anything in it on arrival.

The bed was comfortable and the front desk had moments of helpfulness. Wifi was unreliable. Breakfast buffet is adequate and staff made a consistent and good natured effort to accommodate us wherever possible.

There was an infestation of flies in my room but the staff sorted it quickly. After my first night I woke up with thousands of tiny flies all over my bed, myself, my clothes, all of my things, the floor, etc. I told the front desk and they promptly changed my room for me which was great.

The hotel has the most incredible view of the limestone mountains, which was so lovely to enjoy during my stay. I had wanted to use the pool, especially considering the lovely view, however the water was very murky and it didn’t seem clean enough to swim in.

The listing stated soundproofed rooms but there is constant loud noise from motorboats on the river all day, and the room above walking around was so loud that it shook the walls in my room and disrupted my sleep. The hotel staff did try to tell the room above to be quiet but they continued to walk around heavy footed - not their fault the room wasn’t soundproofed as described I suppose. The corridor was also very loud and echoey.

The same day the room above checked in, a dirty drip of water started to continuously drip in the bathroom so you were dripped on as you used the toilet. I decided not to tell the staff about this as I didn’t want to move rooms for the second time during my short stay.

This hotel is nice enough for a couple of nights and definitely benefits greatly from the amazing view, the staff were very kind and did their best to be helpful, but as there were too many issues, I would not not stay here again.

Facility was old. No hot water at sink . Only hot water for shower. Room was dirty. Furnitures were old and broken. Bed was hard. Safe box was not secured down. Thieves can pick up and just leave with the box. Breakfast was same EVERYDAY and not much selections. Bathroom door lock need key to open EVERYTIME . WAY OVER PRICE FOR RUN DOWN PLACE. Paid $70 US dollars for a night. Expedia need to take this facility off booking.
Travels for 25 years and this is the WORST PLACE. Absolutely NOT RECOMMEND.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Silver Naga Hotel. My room had a balcony that overlooked the pool, and the river. It was absolutely gorgeous! The staff was great, and very helpful. The night market is just outside the hotel, and there are so many food choices. You won't regret your stay here. I can't wait to return.

Cute boutique hotel on the river

Silver Naga is a great option. Cute little boutique hotel on the river in the center of town, with yoga classes in the morning and evening. They upgraded me and allowed late check out, which I appreciated. My only complaint was loud music at night, but it was coming from the other side of the river and ended by 10-11pm. I’d happily stay here again.

The Silver Naga has a fabulous location with views of the spectacular karsts across the river. I was only there overnight on the way from Luang Prabang to Vientiane. I had a swim in the pool before the weather turned, the wind picked up and I headed indoors to watch the sunset from my room. I didn't want to leave. It seemed to me that the pool filter wasn't working as the water had that unhealthy green tinge. Hopefully that will be fixed soon.
I took a long-boat ride before breakfast which was excellent but access to the boat was slippery and uneven and should be improved.
Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly, helpful, professional and spoke excellent English.

Wifi was not available in our room except on the balcony. We asked four times for someone to fix it but there was no change. We needed to sit in the lobby for extended periods so we could access internet. Apart from that it was ok.

더럽고 화장실 청소도 제대로 안되있고
방문도 제대로 안 잠겨서 둘째날 낮에 나갔다 올 동안 방 청소 후 문이 안잠겨 있던데 7시간 넘게 방문이 열려있었음

Great mountain views - rooms need upgrading

The first night didn’t have hot water, they moved us to another room. The room clean just in need of updating. Good selection for breakfast. Location was central to everything and the views were spectacular. Pool area was great.

This hotel is absolutely ridiculously over priced and old. Our bed had ants and we couldn’t sleep all night (had the lights on all night). The hotel is extremely run down and lacks upkeeping. The area is good but man, I could not believe how dirty I felt at this hotel.

Awesome location, stunning views, convenient to everything. I love the way this hotel is very eco and dog friendly. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice, pool fantastic, staff lovely nice comfy bed with nice linens. Would thoroughly recommend.

Convenient but overpriced hotel. My friend and I was given a room upgrade. However the room we got was cramped, especially the toilet. There was little room for me to manuever in order to close the toilet door. The toilet's always wet due to a leaky pipe. Faulty cupboard door did not close well too.

We had initially booked a standard room for 2 nights but decided to upgrade it upon seeing the room and its location. The standard room was overpriced for what it was, no view and next to the car park or toilet area and the room smelt damp. If you plan to stay in the hotel then it's worth paying more for a room with a view. There was a lot of construction taking place in the property next door so if you're looking for complete peace and quiet I would check before staying here, although there was construction in most parts of Vang Vieng. The hotel was a bit outdated and in need of some general maintenance but overall the customer service was very good and the free buffet breakfast was good and had a big selection of food options. The hotel needs to update its marketing materials as they all refer to a spa in the resort but when arriving we realised there was no spa and only in-room massage available. Waking up to that view definitely surpasses the negatives of the property.

Silver Naga - low season

Stayed at the Silver Naga during low season. The hotel has everything to fulfil a traveler's basic needs - room cleaned every day, aircon, large breakfast range for Lao standards, free wifi (although you keep having to sign in again), bathroom amenities. The property itself is a bit old. Would love if the hotel could offer a bit more local recommendations. Everything had a very mass scale feel to it.

Good hotel with lovely riverside views and locatio

Very pleasant, helpful staff but probably overpriced. Great riverside location with beautiful mountain views.but don't expect western efficiency. Nice pool which could do with sunbeds around. No evening bar but plenty nearby. Very lively town with good range of restaurants and popular activities for tourists but regrettably a hideously huge and ugly casino is currently being built blocking prime beauty spot. Balconies need better chairs and tables. Best activities and events on river - tubing, kyaking, motor boats, festival (Oct) and hot air ballooning. Delightful trips by Tuk tuk to waterfalls and caves. Popularity is increasingly attracting inward investors likely to dominate the Lao character.

실버나가 비추입니다.

일단 실버나가 호텔은 마운틴 뷰가 엄청 좋고 수영장이 좋습니다. 하지만 1층의 경우 창문이 없는 음침한 환경이 안좋습니다. 드라이기도 없습니다.
저희는 3박중 2박은 1층, 1박은 4층에 머물렀습니다. 4층은 드라이가 있으나 엘리베이터 가까운 방을 잡아줘서 1분에 여러번씩 엘리베이터 음악이 들려서 불편했고 더운물이 안나와서 추웠고 화장실 천장에서 물이 새서 불편했습니다.
4층은 베란다가 있어서 마운틴 뷰를 볼 수있지만 1층은 수영장에 가야 잘 볼 수 있습니다. 아침 조식은 무료고 김치도 제공되고 식사는 괜찮았습니다. 남쏭강 건너편에서 토요일에는 밤11시까지 꿍짝꿍짝 음악소리가 바닥을 흔들 정도로 크게 들려서 대단히 불편합니다.
전반적으로 비추입니다.

풍경은 좋아도 시설은 비추입니다.

야시장과 가까운 호텔, 호텔이라는 단어가 잘 어울리는 숙소

1. 직원들의 친절도는 매우 만족스럽다. 직원들끼리 무전기를 들고 다니며, 들어온 민원을 해결하는 시스템
2. 세탁비는 비싸다. 본인은 세탁비가 다른 곳에 비싼 걸 확인하고, 전 날 묵었던 숙소에서 세탁을 맡겼다.
3. 실외 수영장은 이용하지 않았지만, 내가 이용한 룸은 리버뷰에 트윈룸이라서 뷰나, 시설 모두 만족스러웠다. 역시 돈이 최고인 것 같다.
4. 숙소내 금고가 마련되어 있고, 물과 간식, 음료, 술 등이 냉장고에 비치되어 있다. 하지만 물 2병을 제외하고는 모두 유료이니 주의할 것.
5. 매일매일 룸을 청소해준다.
6. 비수기라서 저렴하게 이용할 수 있었고, 굉장히 만족스러우며 다시 이용할 의향이 있는 숙소
7. 고질적인 문제점은 바로 욕실 물빠짐이다. 물이 잘 빠지지 않아 한강이 되는 것을 직접 느꼈고, 그래도 태양열로 온수를 만드는 시스템이라 온수는 너무 잘 나왔다. 하지만 수압이 너무 쌔고, 고정형이라 불편할 수 있다는 점

처음 갔을때 방문 안열리고 ... 다른 객실로 옮겼더니 펌프 공사한다고 한시간 뒤에 사용하라고 해서 다시 켰더니 단수고... 또 객실 옮기고...ㅜ

部屋をグレードアップしてもらえました！！リバービューではない部屋に泊まっていましたが、リバービューに変更してもらえたのです。その部屋のドアが思うようにキーカードで開けることが多くあり、スタッフさんに対応してもらっていたら、女性のオーナーさんのような方が、変更してあげると言ってくれました！その対応には、満足しました。プールサイドも夕陽がきれいでよかったです。

야시장과 가까운 호텔

야시장 바로 앞이라 쇼핑하기좋고,
사람이 많이지나다니기때문에 위험하지않아서 호텔위치가 괜찮다고 생각함
방비엥이 워낙 좁아서 걸어서 5~10분거리임. 구석진곳에 위치하지않아서 좋음.
다만 호텔시설-화장실은 좋지않았다. 샤워기가 별로임
드라이기와 기본 어메니티는 구비되어있음(칫솔.치약.샴푸.바디워시.면봉.샤워캡 정도)
에어컨은 고장나있는 상태였음. 벽걸이 선풍기로 다행히 쪄죽진않았음.
수영장은 2층에있고, 작다....락스냄새에 들어가지않았다..
호텔바로앞 추가?건물공사중이라 뷰는좋지않음. 시끄럽진않았음. 닭울음소리에 새벽에 깸. 근데 닭울음소리는 어느호텔이든 다 들림.
직원은 매우 친절했고, 짐도 맡아 주시고, 문의사항에 대해 도와주려고 노력함.

위치가 조금 애매하게 멀기는 하나 리버뷰가 좋고, 방이 정말정말 예쁨.
수영장도 깨끗하고 좋으며 체크아웃 이후에 짐보관, 샤워 가능!!!
서비스 좋고 조식 맛있음. 라오스에서 6개 호텔 묵었는데 제일 좋았음

후기가 좋아 이용했지만 1층객실은 벌레도 있고 뷰도 안좋고 너~~~무 습하다
단체관광객들이 많아 개인여행자는 무조건 1층으로 배정하는것 같다
화장실이 깨끗하지 않고 샤워기또한 분리되지 않아 씻기도 너무 불편하고 외출시 객실 열쇠 잠금 장치가 잘되지 않아 외출할때마다 열쇠와 씨름을 해야한다
금액대비 시설이 안좋아 다신 숙박하지 않을것이다

정말 좋습니다. 스텝 모두가 친절해요....ㅎㅎ

동남아 여행은 많이한 편인데 뭔가 꾸며진 친절이 아닌 정말 감동을 주는 친절을 주시는 한 리셉션이 계십니다...ㅎ
아마 누굴 지칭하는지 겪어보믄 아실텐데.....단 한번도 제손으로 호텔문을 열어 본 적이 없네요.^^
작은 배려 하나하나 비엔티안을 소개해주시며 날이 더울때는 먼저 양산대신 우산...빌려주신다고 쓰라고 하십니다^^
룸컨디션도 상당히 좋아서 화장실은 이번에 신식으로 바꾼건지...쾌적합니다. 라오스에서는 보기힘든 수압도 감동이구요.
호텔도 차분하고 조용해서 비즈니스를 위하시는 분들에게 아주 적합하고 조용하고 쾌적한 분위기를 원하는 가족 등 좋을듯합니다. 위치도 야시장 바로 앞이고 이동도 어느곳이나 편한곳이라...위치때문에 선정햇는데 나머지 모든것들이 만족스럽습니다. 공항 샌딩비용이 택시는 7달러로 통일이라 보통 한인쉼터에 맡기는게 저렴하지만 보시면아시겠지만
저희가 사용할 때는 저희 부부 외에는 없었고 무거운 캐리어백도 다 상하차해주시고...오히려 비엔티안의 이미지보다
살라나부티크의 친절한 배려에 감동하면서 돌아왔습니다. 저희는 라오항공이라 밤 12시넘는 비행기라 체크아웃 후 무료샤워가 가능하다 하셔서 스파실에서 샤워도 했습니다. 괜찮은 숙소에서 묵고 픈 한국분들에게 추천드립니다.ㅎㅎ
