Our stay at The Udaya Resorts & Spa was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They consistently checked in to make sure everything was going well and were always happy to help with anything we needed, which made the experience feel very personal and thoughtful.

Our room was cleaned daily, and we loved coming back to fresh towels and the thoughtful turndown service each evening. It really added a special touch to the stay.

The property is in a great location—you can easily walk to nearby cafés and restaurants. If you want to explore more, it’s a quick motorbike or taxi ride to the Ubud Market, and the hotel also offers a free shuttle which makes getting around very convenient.

The on-site restaurant was excellent, and the pool area was one of our favorite parts. It was never crowded, which made it feel like you had your own peaceful infinity pool.

Overall, I would 100% recommend staying here. If you’re visiting Ubud and looking for a relaxing, beautiful place with exceptional service, you won’t regret it!

Oh my, what a treat it was staying at Udaya Resort and Spa. The staff spoiled us everyday with attention to details. Breakfast comes with the room. It is a full cooked to order meal chosen from a menu several pages long. Delicious! There is also afternoon tea which is accompanied by little sandwiches and sweets. Very civilized. Be sure to plan time for the spa. We spent hours there and were sad to leave the pampering. Udaya also has a trolly into town periodically. The restaurant is excellent. Don’t miss the fruit juice drinks. The rooms are spacious and luxurious with big soaking tubs, plenty of storage, patios, and the villas have a private pool. You will appreciate the air conditioning.

This resort was a pleasant surprise. The staff was exceptional, courteous, helpful, knowledgeable. The room was amazing, food was great. There was a surprising menu of complimentary services of which we enjoyed the afternoon tea. They shuttle you to town center where you can walk the town or even to the monkey forest. If I return to Ubud, this is where I will stay!!

I travel a lot around the world, and this has been the hotel with the most courteous staff and best service E-V-E-R.
They really go above and beyond, I booked a tour from the lobby and Putra took me to the water temple, he even brought me an offering (incense, flowers and fruits) from his home because he knew the shops at the temple would be close at my arrival, the people in this hotel made my experience unforgettable.

The garden view is absolutely stunning, with lush forest trees and vibrant flowers surrounding a beautiful swimming pool and a pond filled with goldfish. This is a beautiful property, the food and staff are warm and welcoming. The rooms are beautiful. They keep the property up, spray twice a day to keep the mosquitoes down. They also have complementary bug spray plug-ins for the walls. I didn’t like the garden villa bathroom/shower had a small opening to the outside. The pool villa was gorgeous and completely closed off. I like that better than the other villas with vents to the outside.. the pool water is cool not heated and my pool Villa must’ve been some kind of bird or animal on the roof because it kept dropping poop right in front of my pool villa. I did not like that but they cleaned it up every time. It sits on the hill maybe 10min from the market, construction 🚧 going on in the area so the roads were rough but I loved my stay there

The service at this place is 100 out of 10. The property itself is so beautiful but what takes it to the next level is the wonderful staff. Everyone at this place goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and to make your stay more pleasant and comfortable. The food at Deeva restaurant is outstanding. I have a problem with my knees and can not climb too many stairs. Service needs attention..eg our bar fridge was never topped up daily, towels where not placed in the room, when asked for face washer they said it didnt exist but last day we got them.
Ordering tea took 20 minutes..

We went to Udaya for our honeymoon! We stayed at The Udaya for 4 nights and loved every minute of it. Their spa was amazing (we did the couples rejuvenation massage with a flower bath), and they also offered so many in-house services which made our stay so enjoyable. We did multiple floating breakfasts at our private pool villa, we did the flower pool arrangement, enjoyed multiple meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at their restaurant - their food is AMAZING and some of the best we’ve had in Bali, we did the private candlelit dinner at the sky hut yoga area, and took advantage of their free shuttle service to downtown Ubud. Their staff was so friendly and sweet, we really enjoyed all our conversations with their staff and how well they treated guests. They go above and beyond to make sure every guest is comfortable and enjoying their stay! Pro tip for anyone visiting, we brought a lot of extra cash for tipping their staff. It’s not expected but went a long way and they were so deserving! Overall a 10/10 experience and will highly recommend to anyone visiting Ubud. Thank you Udaya for such a memorable honeymoon experience!

This resort is honestly amazing, we stayed for three nights to celebrate our two year anniversary and were blown away by the resort. The lengths that each and every staff member goes to in order to ensure your stay is perfect is like I haven’t experienced anywhere else. The floating breakfast is a must and if you can book one of the dinners set up in multiple locations around the it is 100% worth it, the effort put into setting up the decorations is enough, however they go above and beyond creating a personalised menu with your initials as a keepsake. Even after all of that the food is some of the best you will ever have in Bali. Even if you can’t get a room at this resort a trip to it’s restaurant for dinner is worth it alone the prices are very reasonable, especially if you can book into one of their all you can eat BBQ with Balinese dancing as entertainment. Thank you to all the staff at the resort for making this such a special experience. We will be back :)

I cannot say enough good things about our stay here! We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon and the staff was amazing. They went out of their way to make our stay here so memorable. Everyone here was so friendly and always so welcoming. We stayed in 3 other places in Bali and this was easily our favorite. The resort was beautiful and clean, we loved the food- especially their breakfast. Our villa was beautiful and always clean and restocked. The shuttle they offer was very convenient and the staff was always eager to help with whatever we needed. Udaya felt like home in Bali and I know we will definitely be back. It was an amazing place to spend the beginning of our honeymoon. We highly highly recommend this place!

Amazing from start to finish!

We only stayed one night and enjoyed the couples massage and spa bath, as well as the restaurant. The staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. Wish we had been able to stay a few more nights. We stayed in one of the 2 story villas and LOVED it!

Nice spacious room with all the usual amenities. Shower hose leaked and hot water took ages to come . I booked rooms with private pools we stayed for 3 days but didn’t use these once as the water was too cold. Restaurant was a bit basic and dated as was the very small bar. Food took quite a while to arrive but was good enough. Shuttle to the town was really useful as it was a fair bit out of the centre but it finished at 9.10pm so would have been useful for us had it operated for longer. Would have liked to try the spa but couldn’t get suitable availability so used one in Ubud which was half the price. Ok stay would return despite the nice room.

We stayed at the Udaya for 2 nights, and I do not recommend staying there if you are stayong with kids. This is not a family friendly resort.
The resort and rooms are designed for honeymooning couples. Therr is no provacy for thr bathrooms. The room has a shower, tub, and toilet that are open to the room. This is a problem if you are traveling with kids, parents etc. Really inconvenient. We booked two rooms and both were desogned this way. In one room the showr didnt even come with frosted glass and is visible from the room! Two grandparents and a grandson stsyed in the room. The resort allows peoe to book roo.s with kids. They should just stay as a couples onky resort, as many resorts do. Why allow people to book these rooms with no provacy when they are listing kids in reservation?
Restaurant has upscale vibes bur dinner is pretty bad. Breakfast was good. Spa is good too.

This establishment is amazing. Actually felt like we had a holiday. The staff go above and beyond. The breakfast menu is extensive & delicious. The room we had was smaller than I thought it would be & the bathroom is not very private - so if that bothers you maybe this isnt the place for you.
The grounds are idyllic, the private pool we had was very welcoming in the heat.
The free shuttle into town was so handy, and you can communicate with reception via whatsapp which really helped us out while being in a new country.
We would absolutely stay here again.

The property is beautiful and the staff amazing. The pool villas are well appointed, and the pools are well taken care of. Be prepared for a bit of a hike to get to them, but they are worth the walk. The restaurant has a nice variety of Malaysian and Western food and the quality is excellent. Staff went out of their way to accomodate all our requests and were very helpful. The shuttle into Ubud Centre runs regularly. I would recommend to anyone who wants a first class resort experience!
