I needed to type up some work in the evening but the room was very gloomy due to poor lighting. I had to work in the main hotel lobby.
Also there was a kettle and teabags in the room but no coffee. I asked for some but they do not provide coffee in the rooms which I could not understand given that I was in Brazil who are a major coffee producer!!!

I had higher expectations for this place. Perhaps I was unlucky to get a room that was not super clean and definitely needs some maintenance. Small details like mold in the shower, dirty walls, peeling wallpaper, torn sheets, my towels had a musty odor. I never got the TV to work except for Netflix.
I had a king size bed with two small pillows. It looked odd and motel-like. Why can't a 4 star hotel have pillows for a king size bed?

The property itself is nice and is in a safe and good location. There's a nice mall across the street, staff was nice and kind as well.

4 great nights at Novotel in Sorocaba

The hotel is new and modern. The room was very nice and I enjoyed the buffet breakfast, lots of options! I also had the opportunity to have lunch and the food was very good.

We chose Novotel due to great location and been a new hotel.
The service is fantastic! Luis at front desk was extremely helpful specially when we needed a plug for our cellular phones(socket is different in Brazil).Breakfast is very good. They have a nice bar and live music at night.
Best shopping in town is across the street with great shops and restaurants. There is a new supermarket next door and pharmacy.
Is the best location in Sorocaba for business travelers and leisure travel. If you're arriving early morning pay an early check in otherwise will check in only after 2PM.
I'll definitely stay at Novotel again.

O hotel é muito bem localizado, mas os quartos não possuem isolamento acústico nas janelas, durante a noite é um pouco incômodo. Durante minha estadia o quarto não foi limpo, mesmo deixando o aviso na porta; a limpeza foi falha. Destaco o excelente café da manhã e o atendimento dos funcionários do restaurante, muito atenciosos e prestativos.

O quarto está começando ficar com sinais de uso do tempo, o box está com ferrugem nos cantos do box, privada não estava 100% limpa. O café da manhã era ok para o hotel, por ser junto com Ibis no mesmo prédio, acredito que economizam no cardápio. Ovos nos 3 dias que comi, tinha pedaços de casca dos ovos no meio. Precisam melhorar a qualidade do preparo. Hotel é bom, mas não justifica o valor cobrado na minha opinião. Localização é muito boa, no geral é bom, mas pode ser melhor pelo o que cobra. O checkin do Íbis é junto com Novotel, isso faz juntar muitas pessoas e demora.

Não recomendo. Tudo gira em torno de redução de custos, afetando negativamente a experiência do hóspede. Por ex: aparentemente é impossível entrar em contato direto com a recepção (ligando de fora), pois te mandam para uma central de atendimento, e mesmo qdo transferem para o hotel, ninguém atende. Não tem funcionários suficiente. O quarto não tem UMA porta USB para carregar celular.

O hotel é muito bom, mantém o padrão da rede Novotel. É muito bem localizado, as acomodações são boas e o café da manhã farto e variado. Tivemos dois problemas pontuais. Falta de água por algumas horas e quantidade de toalhas inferior ao que necessitávamos.

Hotel maravilhoso, a cama não dá vontade de sair e isso foi unânime, pois estávamos em um grupo de 10 pessoas ou mais e todos falaram a mesma coisa do quarto que ficaram, produtos de toalete da fitoervas mto cheiroso. O quarto é escuro e claustrofóbico. Sem coberta, sem canais opcionais na TV, box aberto molhando todo o chão da pia, sem café de cortesia, demora de mais de 20 minutos para o checkin e checkout, opções do café da manhã pobre. Uma catástrofe. Não recomendo.

Perdeu mto a qualidade de anos atrás.

Quarto com problema na descarga do vaso que não funcionava.
Tinham 2 camas casal e somente cobertor , quando solicitado não podiam entregar até a chegada de outro funcionário na recepção, assim tivemos que descer 22:00/23:00 para buscar cobertor para a segunda cama.
O ar condicionado da academia não funcionava. Foi comunicado a recepção que se prontificou a enviar um
Funcionário no momento porém fiquei na academia por 1 hora e não apareceu ninguém ( isso dia 18/5 ao redor 20:40-21:00).
