Our stay at Inveradran house was wonderful! The property is charming and quaint. We loved watching the birds and red squirrels in the morning! Breakfast every morning was amazing. There are a lot of little details that make the stay welcoming-- like a range of usb charging stations, beautiful views and homemade shortbread (courtesy of Jan). Would advise booking in advance as it fills up fast. Big thanks to Jon, Jan, and Harry for creating home away from home during our vacation.

The Inverardran was exactly as described, very easy to find, with parking. Less than 2mins from Crianlarich. Inside was cosy, comfortable and clean. John could not have been nicer. The room was small but perfect with everything I might need. Plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate and homemade shortbread biscuits, tv, ensuite bathroom. Bathroom and bedroom warm and cosy, bed firm and comfy. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. I would be happy to return and hopefully see the red squirrels next time! I would thouroughly recommend the Inverardran to anyone thinking of staying in the area.

We had a great overnight stay at the Inverardran House. John, our host was friendly and welcoming and provided good information about restaurants and nearby walks. Our room was very beautifully decorated and everything was immaculate. The breakfast that John made was delicious. It was an excellent bed and breakfast.

Stayed in the self-catering cottage which was very well equipped. As a family of three older adults (couple plus sister) we had to use the second bedroom on one of the bunk beds which was not as easy as hoped, (sister banged her head and arms when moving) but for one night was manageable. For a family with children this would have been fine. The double bedroom on the first floor was extremely comfortable and roomy. Bathroom is on ground floor, less convenient if you have to get up in the night!
We had the option of purchasing the breakfast which was excellent, plentiful and very well priced. Would definitely consider again, especially with immediate rather than extended family (or would stay in the B & B)

Couldn’t fault it. Friendly service. Considerate host. Amazing location, set far back from the road so no road noise. Spacious room. Everything you need for a lovely stay. You may be lucky enough to see red squirrels in the morning and you will definitely see visiting birds.

Best b&b in Scotland!

We stayed for 1 night only, but we regretted that were had to move on. On our tour through Scotland, this was a by far the best nightstop we had!!!
The owner was very kind, in for a chat when we felt like it, but in background (available for questions if needed) when we enjoyed our freshly cooked breakfast.
The room was equipped with everything you can wish for. Bathroom was clean with warm thick towels, shampoo etc available.
Bed was comfy, 3 pillows each, a little bit on the small side, but hey, who cares when you're with the one you love!

Absolutely wonderful stay! Inverardran House is set in the most incredibly tranquil location with stunning views wherever you look. Warm and friendly welcome, comfortable cosy room with a stunning view of the mountains and ample coffee/tea supplies, and the most delicious breakfast I've had on my roadtrip across Scotland. Despite a late arrival after a lengthy journey we were greeted with open arms at Inverardran by the lovely John. Making sure we were settled in ok and all our needs were met we had a lovely refreshing nights rest. Greeted in the morning and ushered into to dining room we were impressed by the choices breakfast starters available but wisely left room for what can only be described as a hearty full English breakfast. All the ingredients were good quality and cooked to perfection. Full marks there John ! Soon we were on our way and feeling fully refreshed. An ideal spot to either break your journey or stay a little longer. A self contained unit is also available with or without breakfast. We can highly recommend this place. Lovely stay at B&B, Fantastic breakfast

Inverardran was the first stop on our partial West Highland Way walk, so we didn't stay long, but the B&B was very lovely. Breakfast was delicious, with the porridge being the best we had our whole trip through Scotland! Inspired us to try to make it back home. Owner was very warm, helpful and lovely as well. We found out here that Highland water everywhere was going to be quite brown (but safe to drink), so that took a bit to adjust to.

Our host, John was friendly and welcoming, with great local knowledge, and served up excellent cooked breakfasts. Inverardran was an excellent base for a short break in the west central Highlands, with good road connections to many areas of interest.

The excellent reviews for this place paint an accurate picture. I was blown away by the quality of ingredients used in my cooked breakfast. The eggs, sausage and bacon were superb, would definitely stay again when in the area.

John was a great host, and the breakfasts were nice. The bed was small and not comfortable. The pillows were super thin (we had 4 and requested 4 more, which John provided). The internet was slow (although better than dial up speed). We tried one of the 3 restaurants in town (the Ben Mohr) and wouldn't recommend it.

A Warm Welcome to Scotland!

This was our first night in Scotland and we were warmly welcomed by our host upon arriving at his beautiful home with a good sense of humour! We had just traversed the windy, narrow Loch Lamond road, my husband's first experience of driving on the left! Our host recommended dinner at the pub across the road which was perfect for weary travellers. The next morning we awoke to a fabulous breakfast and a good light-hearted chat. The surroundings were so beautiful that I wish I had more time to explore the gardens and hills.

We found the hotel easily as it's located on the main road through Crianlarich but set back from the road so traffic noise wasn't an issue. There are 2 long drives up to the hotel and plenty of space to park.
We were made to feel very welcome as was our dog.
Our room was clean and comfortable with an ensuite shower room. Toiletries, kettle, tea/coffee, biscuits, bottled water, hairdryer, internet and satellite tv are provided. The view from the room is of beautiful hills and countryside.
From the hotel a short walk takes you to places to eat, drink and shop and although it is a busy road there is a pavement.
There is also easy access to forest walks and the West Highland Way so great for taking the dog out. Glencoe in one direction and Loch Lomond in another are easily reached from here by car.
Our breakfast was so tasty, well cooked and presented. We didn't need any lunch or snacks that day!

Space, glorious space!!!!! Traveling with four is often a bit crowded but not so with this nice spot. My grandchildren loved it and so did I because it was so peaceful, quiet and beautiful. We all enjoyed dinner across the road - an authentic, local place. Great stay with nice owners!

We were expecting a single room with four beds but we're actually in the cottage annex to the main building which was a full on self catering accommodation with two separate bedrooms. Nice surprise and perfect for us. The guest House is just outside the village of Crianlarich but walkable go the pub's and shops.
