The staff make this place amazing!

Honestly, the staff here are some of the most patient, kind, and generous folks you will ever meet.

My only gripe is that the WiFi was very poor and caused issues when in virtual meetings. However, the staff were splendid and am happy to have stayed here.

Aircondition unit does not work. Called the reception disk. Told me to increase the fan. Its 74 degress in my room. We are sweating bullets. We open the windows but our room is facing the main road so road noise prevent us from sleeping soundly. Took 2 showers just to make myself comfortable.

Property was very well kept. Nice and economical parking. AC in the room did not go below 23.5 C, the room was very warm inside and the hotel did not had floor or desk fans available. Tried to sleep with window open for a little comfort but room was facing main road, too loud for the window to stay open.

Spontaneous Trip

We booked at the last minute on a spontaneous trip to the Black Forest. The staff was welcoming and the room was very clean with all necessary amenities. It has everything we could have wanted and accommodated our two dogs as well.

Amazing Hotel

I enjoyed 2 nights at this beautiful modern hotel. Receptionist was very helpful and co-operative( i do not recall her name ). I had a problem with my rented car, she offered to call them and was very patient with them. I really appreciate that, she solved my problem.

The hotel is new and so clean and beautifully decorated in a very quiet and beautiful area.

Great stay!

Our stay was fantastic we went on a quick trip to the Black Forest. The hotel is 20-30 min from Black Forest even though is not the most convenient I don’t regret staying here breakfast was great, service was great, room was clean and comfy. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent New Hotel

The Holiday Inn Villingen - Schwenningen is brand new, spacious, and ideally situated as a stop-over point while viewing the Black Forest region. The hotel staff were all so kind and helpful. Due to our late arrival, we chose to eat in the hotel restaurant. The menu has a little something for everyone and the food was prepared wonderfully. There is plenty of common space allocated to the lobby and restaurant that this would be great for larger groups. I would definitely recommend it as an affordable and comfortable option in the area.

Very clean and almost new hotel. Great for business travel, but not much else around for those looking to take in the sites. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, but service was a little clunky as it seemed several were learning their jobs. Overall, great room for the price and service should improve in the weeks ahead.

Ich hatte den Eindruck erst gar nicht genügend Personal. Mein Zimmer wurde nicht gereinigt obwohl ich mehrere Stunden weg war und das Schild draußen hängen hatte. Der Safe hat nicht funktioniert. Das war im ersten Zimmer dann bekam ich ein anderes Zimmer dort war der Safe funktionsfähig aber so verriegelt im offenen Zustand und dieser Umstand wurde auch nicht behoben obwohl ich die Rezeption darauf hingewiesen hatte und man mir gesagt hat man kümmert sich darum. Das Positive in den Rezessionen erwähnte frühstücksbuffet war auch nicht besser als woanders in derselben hotelkategorie. Das Zimmer war schön geräumig und auch sehr ruhig. Die Beschreibung des Hotels hat mich das so verleitet dass man dort kostenlos parken kann. Es ist dir doch so dass 6,50 € pro Nacht für einen unbewachten Stellplatz im Freien berechnet werden

Alle Mitarbeitenden waren ohne Ausnahme freundlich bis sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam.
Das Zimmer war sauber und gross. Das Bett war sehr gut. Unser Zimmer lag zur Strasse und durch das hohe Verkehrsaufkommen war es manchmal etwas laut. Aber Fenster lassen sich ja auch schliessen.
Was leider gut sichtbar negativ auffiel war der offensichtlich von einem Gast mit Gewalt zum Teil heruntergerissene Nachtvorhang. Bei der 3er Lampe über dem Sofa war ein Leuchtmittel defekt. In der Nespresso-Maschine war noch stehendes Wasser vom vorherigen Gast und der Abfalleimer im Bad war nach dem letzten Gast nicht geleert worden. Da haben wohl der Reinigungsdienst UND die Kontrolle versagt. Abgesehen von dem waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt zufrieden. Die negativen Punkte habe ich an der Reception deponiert.

Das Hotel hat gute Zimmer die sehr sauber sind und ein gutes Badezimmer mit Dusche. Ein sehr angenehmes Bett und das Personal war auch sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück ist dort auch sehr lecker mit so ziemlich allem was man so braucht.

Das gesamte Hotel, wie auch die Zimmer sind besonders gemütlich eingerichtet, sodass man sich besonders wohl fühlt. Das Hotel befindet sich etwas außerhalb von Schwenningen in der Nähe des Klinikums und ist mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Schade, dass man für den Parkplatz pro Nacht 6,50 Euro bezahlen muss. Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt wäre, dass es an der Lobbybar nach 22:00 Uhr keine Bewirtung mehr gibt.

Dem Anschein nach ein noch relativ neues Hotel.
Überall noch entsprechend sauber bzw. neuwertiges Mobiliar etc.
Hatte ein geräumiges, ruhiges u. stylisch eingerichtetes Zimmer, das auch für mehrtägige Aufenthalte geeignet wäre.
Freundliches Personal.
Gutes, umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet zu akzeptablen Preis.
Preis-/Leistung m. E. stimmig für das Gesamtgebotene.
Für mich hervorragende Lage direkt neben dem Schwarzwald-Baar-Klinikum (mein „Einsatz-/Arbeitsort !).
Villingen u. Schwenningen „leider“ jeweils einige Kilometer entfernt.
Busverbindungen vorhanden, ansonsten Auto od. „teures“ Taxi nötig.
Würde ich erneut wieder buchen, für mich hat’s gepasst.

Frühstück war mittelmäßig nach 9 Uhr war fast alles vergriffen. Um nach zu füllen musste man 10 mal nach fragen. Im Zimmer der Boden wurde gar nicht gereinigt überall klotzen Staub. Um die Sauna zu nutzen, brauchten wir Bademäntel, die waren auch vergriffen leider konnte man es nicht nutzen. Wir waren in mehreren Hotels dieser Kampagne aber das war der schlechteste, leider. Deswegen 2 Punkte abzug, für Zimmer und Frühstück.

Schöne Hotelzimmer, sehr ruhig und sehr sauber. Ich wollte am Abend im Hotel essen und habe mich nach der Ankunft nach den Zeiten erkundigt. Es hiess in einen nicht gerade höflichen Ton ab 18 Uhr. Weil ich so lange unterwegs war und hunger hatte gingen wir zu zweit um 18 Uhr ins Restaurant. Das Personal war nicht freundlich und antwortete ah zwei Personen Abendessen... sie hätten jetzt keine Zeit, weil eine Gruppe komme und wir sollen doch in frühstens 45 Min wieder kommen.... ausser uns war niemend dort und das Buffet für die Gruppe war schon vollständig bereit. Die hatten es wohl nicht nötig. Beim Frühstück gabs dann zum glück eine tolle Auswahl aber als das Besteck ausgeging und ich höflich um eine Gabel und einen Löffel gebeten habe, wurde mir in einem genervten Ton geantwortet ich solle doch selber schauen es habe genug. Als ich mitteilte nein eben nicht, lief die Frau wegg. Als sie wieder kam zeigte ich ihr die leeren Behälter und erst dann holte sie was. Es ist schade, dass ein so wunderschönes Hotel so unfreundliches Personal beschäftigt. Ich hätte mich wohler gefühtlt wenn ich netter behandelt worden wäre. Uch erwarte nicht, dass ich angelächelt werde aber wenigstens ein bisschen mehr Interesse für die Gäste wäre schon wünschenswert.

Wir hatten in dem IHG Hotel in Ringsheim sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht deshalb haben wir uns für unsere Rückfahrt das IHG-Hotel in Villingen Schwenningen entschieden. Leider gibt es wohl sehr große Unterschiede. Wir wurden darauf hingewiesen, dass wir kein Frühstück gebucht hätten, was jedoch nicht den Tatsachen entsprach. Wir konnten jedoch schriftlich beweisen, dass dies nicht der Fall war. Zu unserem Ärger, wollte das Hotel das anfangs nicht akzeptieren. Eine für uns sehr peinliche Situation an der Rezeption da vermeintlich unbeteiligte Personen alles live miterlebten. Erst nachdem wir gefrustet auf ein Frühstück verzichten wollten, bekamen wir einen Anruf im Zimmer mit der Nachricht, dass wir nach Rücksprache mit Expedia nun doch unser gebuchtes Frühstück bekommen werden. Schlussendlich haben wir den Verdacht, dass hier eine Betrugsmasche vorliegt. Auch die Müllsituation im Außenbereich müßte dringend verbessert werden ( überquellende Tonnen in der Sonne, umgekippt und nicht wieder aufgestellt).

Muito bom hotel

Hotel muito novo. Quarto silencioso, muito espaçoso, chuveiro agradável. Café da manhã super completo. Atendimento estava ok, mas podia ser melhor (alguma dificuldade do pessoal da recepção com o idioma inglês). Ponto fraco foi a ausência de carregador para carros elétricos.

Das Zimmer war sehr angenehm und geräumig, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Aber einige Dinge waren etwas überraschend. Beim Frühstück gab es keinen Tee, bei dem Saftspender fehlten die Gläser, die Schälchen für den Obstsalat musste man am anderen Ende suchen. Es machte insgesamt einen unsortierten Eindruck. Die Steckdosen in der „ Bibliothek“ sind deaktiviert, was für online Arbeiten sehr hilfreich ist. Zum reinen Übernachten geeignet, ansonsten eher schwierig.

Super Hotel - Ruhige Lage

modernes Hotel etwas Ausserhalb von Villingen-Schwenningen. Das Hotel hat ein eigenes Restaurant mit Bar, die Bar ist zu empfehlen / das Restaurant habe ich nur zum Frühstück benutzt, war ebenfalls einwandfrei.
Weitere Restaurants sowie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich in Laufdistanz (30min). Generess ist das Hotel sehr zu empfehlen (Parkplätze sind Sportwagentauglich).

Das Hotel ist ganz ok. Sehr modern und zeitgemäß eingerichtet. Die Lage ist sehr ausserhalb aber gut erreichbar.

Zimmer sind ok.
Klimaanlage / Heizung funktionierte nicht und lies sich nicht bedienen.

Das schlimmste war aber das Frühstück, auch wenn man Verständnis für eine vorherig große Gruppe haben kann. Es war extrem dreckig, banale Dinge LEER, Besteck war nicht ausreichend zur Verfügung.
Sehr umkoordinierter und unprofessioneller Umgang des Personals mit der Situation. Auch an der Rezeption, wie ebenso im Restaurant, reagierte man mit Unverständnis und ungehalten zu Beschwerden der Gäste zur Situation.

Ich denke, wir werden uns ganz sicher NICHT wiedersehen.

Gutes Hotel, ein bisschen außerhalb aber mit dem Auto machbar.
Einzige großes Manko: Frühstückspersonal komplett unterbesetzt. Tische wurden nicht abgeräumt, das Buffet wurde aufgrund der Personaldecke auch eher sehr langsam wenn überhaupt nachgefüllt. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich.
Insgesamt schon gut, wenn die Situation beim Frühstück sich bessert.

Ein bisschen unorganisiert. Unser Aufenthalt war inklusive Frühstück komplett bezahlt, aber zuerst hieß es, das Hotel wäre noch nicht gezahlt und später das Frühstück. Das Frühstück war im übrigen ausgesprochen schlecht, die Brötchen steinhart. Dennoch war das Hotel an sich wunderschön und sauber. Trotzdem würden wir kein weiteres Mal dorthin

Die Handtücher wurden jeden Tag gewechselt, obwohl im Badezimmer das bekannte Schild \"Helfen Sie mit, unsere Umwelt zu schützen. Neue Handtücher gibt es nur, wenn Sie die benutzten in die Dusche legen.\" Das finde ich nicht ok.
