For the price you pay, it’s not bad. The decor may need an update, but the pictures online are true to form. My only real gripe was the plastic mattress protector on the obviously new mattress- you’ll wake up in a pool of sweat in the middle of the night.
Nevertheless, I still give my overall experience 5 stars because of the hotel’s staff. They went above and beyond to help me from restaurant reservations, what points of interest to see, and even printed several documents I needed for me. At the end of the day, a hotel is really just a fungible service - a bed to sleep in. The difference is service. I would definitely recommend.

A 2 night stay in Villingen
Well it's in a great place right in the walled city centre. But it's a bit difficult to find using your sat nav as it takes you up small cobbled streets but some where you need to go can't be accessed as there pedestrian only also they have a lot of road works going on and some roads are closed of. We were lucky as a lovely German girl stopped in her car and said to follow her as we would have serious problems finding it at the moment. The other thing that is incorrect in the description is parking it states they have parking on site on Hotels

It’s a nice hotel. The staff was friendly and beds were comfortable. They even have a sauna that you can use. Probably want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner since they only offer body wash but definitely had a good nights rest. The nice part is also that you have a few drinks included in your fridge and you can buy more drinks at the bar that they have which is pretty neat. Would definitely book here again. Only a few steps into the downtown area.

This hotel was in a great location. The room was very clean. This is a no frills hotel; however, for the location and money it's an amazing deal. When reading the reviews I was a little bit nervous, but overall I would stay here again. Also, they are pet friendly for those that have fur babies.

ich kenne dieses Hotel (früher unter anderem Namen) nun schon seit 1994. Was einfach für dieses Hotel in VS spricht ist die geniale Lage. Direkt in der Innenstadt, die schöne Altstadt direkt um die Ecke, alle wichtigen Geschäfte/Apotheken, der Bahnhof fussläufig erreichbar, parken ist aber auch kein Problem, zwischen 19.00 Uhr und 9.00 Uhr kann man in den Strassen um die Altstadt kostenfrei parken. Das Frühstück ist aus meiner Sicht TOP. Die Zimmer sind ordentlich eingerichtet, auf den Matratzen schläft man gut. Die Erstbestückung der Minibar ist gratis. Und dennoch gibt es nicht die volle Punktzahl. Diesmal waren es so kleine Details wie die Abdeckung auf dem Regler der Dusche. Das Servicepersonal auf der Etage was die Freundlichkeit betrifft. Das Frühstücksbuffet wenn man am Sonntag um 10.10 Uhr erscheint und sehr viel schon leer ist obwohl es bis 10.30 Uhr Frühstück gibt. Es sind die kleinen Details die ab und zu fehlen aber alles in allem, für einen Aufenthalt in VS absolut empfehlenswert zumal der Preis fair ist. Ich werde wieder kommen...

Free mini-Bar ( Bier, Coke, water and juice ) that was really generous from the hotel…..At the reception their was a free Croissants, Bretzel and lemon Water….Parking is for €12 a day and just around the corner 100-200m distance…..

nach wie vor ist dieses Hotel aufgrund seiner Lage das ideale Hotel für einen Aufenthalt in Villingen. Preis/Leistung passt (noch). Man merkt aber auch, das es so langsam in die Jahre kommt. Hier was abgeplatz, da eine schwarze Fuge, hier eine wackelige Lampe. Die Senderauswahl am TV empfinde ich auch nicht mehr zeitgemäss. Die Matratze war einseitig abgelegen. Alles noch ok aber eben nicht mehr hervorragend. Ich bin einmal im Jahr dort und spüre die Veränderung…

Ich wohne ganz in der Nähe des Hotels. Wir eine Gruppe von ehemaligen Kollegen hatten für ein Treffen dort mehrerer Zimmer reserviert.
Ich habe mit Absicht ohne Stornierung gebucht.

Dann das, mußte auf Grund eines Notfalls in die Klink zur OP.

Ich wohne ganz in der Nähe des Hotels. Wir eine Gruppe von ehemaligen Kollegen hatten für ein Treffen dort mehrerer Zimmer reserviert.
Ich habe mit Absicht ohne Stornierung gebucht.
Konnte ja fast zu Fuß hin.
Dann das, mußte auf Grund eines Notfalls in die Klink zur OP.

Super Anbindung direkt in der Fußgängerzone und keine 10 Minuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. Wir sind schon immer gerne dort und werden das Hotel auch künftig noch oft genießen.
Und Belliard spielen kann man dort auch und den Häschen beim knabbern zuschauen. Wir lieben die Freundlichkeit des Personals und können nur Positives berichten.

Im Badezimmer ging das Licht nicht. Trotz Bescheid sagen an der Rezeption und zurückkehren hieß es das Licht wurde repariert, aber bei Eintreffen im Zimmer war das Licht nicht immer defekt.

Obwohl ich es online bezahlt habe wurde mir vorgeworfen die Zimmer nicht bezahlt zu haben. Mir wurde es dann geglaubt, nachdem ich die E-Mail gezeigt habe.

das eincecken war gut und sogar eher möglich. die parksituaiton leider nicht so wie auch die sauberkeit im Zimmer. Grundordnung ja aber der rest leider sehr mittelmäßig im bad haare, verkalkungen die eindeutig zeigten das nicht mal drüber gewischt wurde, der kühlschrank fiel uns halb entgegen beim öffnen wie auch leider sehr verdreckt was durch einfacheres putzen weg zu machen war.
