Great hotel in Ratchada, Bangkok. Staff very friendly and great English. They let me check in a bit early which was nice. The room is beautiful, great pool & great breakfast, too. The location is just off the main road in a great area . It's 10 minutes walk to \"The Street\" where the outdoor Beer Garden had a top level concert the night I was staying. I highly recommend this hotel for it's excellent staff, location, food, pool, gym...this place has it all and will ensure you have a comfortable stay.

The hotel is down a side road off the main road, not the best entrance, but the hotel is very nice. The breakfast was plentiful, not gourmet but more than adequate. The hotel is in a good location walking distance to the train station. There is only one problem, they do not go the extra mile and provide more English channels for the TV. Have been in cheaper hotels in the area who have more English channels and English movies.

The reception staff were very friendly, the room was spacious and the bed huge. The hotel is smart and everything immaculate. The breakfast selection was fine, and the dining-room staff charming.
The only downside to the hotel - and not its fault - is the poor access from the main road, along a narrow and uneven laneway. However, it's really only a minor point.
Bottom line: would definitely stay there again.

Stayed in this hotel on previous occasion. Not so central to activities but being near to the “MRT” station is a very good plus, accessible to many places of attractions. Need to understand the rail system more because stored value card is only usable on this Blue Line and not on the green or BTS line. Overall, GREAT hotel to stay.

Nice hotel with easy access

Its my second stay in praso and I enjoy it. Its close to public train huai khwang station which helps you to get there from the airport without using overpriced taxi. I didnt eat at hotel as there is plenty of places arround to grab meal. Room was clean and comfortable. Only minus was noise coming from group of tourists who were very loud at swimming pool. Apart from that I cant complain

We stayed here for a week during our Bangkok trip. The pros and cons from our experience are as below
Pros:
1. The room was decent sized and presented in a neat & clean condition.
2. The room gets a clean on a daily basis without you having to request it. After a long day out, it feels so nice to come back to a clean room.
3. The air-conditioning worked fine. There's a safety locker to store your valuables.
4. The Huai Khwang MRT is located about 200m from the hotel. You can interchange to most of the popular destinations using mrt & bts.
5. There's a 7-11 & an atm close by.
6. The reception staff are helpful for the most part.
Cons:
1. The restaurant on level 2 is overpriced & pretty average. The buffet breakfast is not too flash either & lacks variety. Skip it if its not included in your deal.
2. There are no common kitchen or laundry facilities.
3. There are not many street food options close to the hotel.
Overall, our stay at Praso was hassle free & a positive one.

3 day vacation in Bangkok

Praso @ Ratchada 12 is a quiet, clean, modern, boutique hotel in a close in suburb of Bangkok with attentive staff. The space was quite comfortable for three adults over a long weekend. Breakfast had decent Asian and Western options and it was convenient to eat at the hotel before heading out for all day and evening sightseeing. The room is a great value due to its distance from the city center. While the MRT subway stop is nearby, there is no close BTS skytrain stop. Taxi to the main tourist spots could take between 30-60 minutes depending on the traffic, but the fare was never more than $7 USD, Some of the drivers had difficulty finding this small hotel tucked down a small side street. However, if you are planning on going to Chatuchak Weekend Market, you can take the MRT subway directly there. If you are interested in eating locally, there is a night market and food stalls within walking distance less than a mile south on the main street outside the hotel. Salt crusted roasted whole fish for less than $6 USD! If you don't mind a commute into the city center and enjoy a more local scene, Praso @ Ratchada 12 is great place to stay.

reserved for 3 days but checked out on second day. staff is not trained in hospitality etiquette. should be a 2.5 star hotel. Only one key and must be inserted to cool. hair dryer is on timer. no iron. very basic. Location behind residential and commercial area.

Enjoyable short stay for the fuss-free traveller

The first time when I stepped into the room I was given, there was a relatively strong smell of Chinese herbs. This might be possibly due to that this hotel cater mainly to Mainland Chinese, Taiwanese, Koreans and a small group of Chinese from other parts of the world.

Overall, the room is clean and I had a room with a large window. That made the stay very pleasant. Toilet is well equipped but like any budget hotels, bring your own toothbrush and tooth paste as they only provide shower cap, hand soap, body wash, conditioner and shampoo. There are cups too for you to use when brushing your teeth.

Towels are fresh and clean without stains, so are the white bedsheets. I like their pillows as they are firmer than usual.

One of the other reasons why it didn't get full marks is because of the bottles used for their toiletries. It is hard to get the content out for you to use. You might be better off using your own shampoo and body wash.

One very good plus point is that it has a really strong water pressure for the shower and this place is easy to get to the airport.

Don't even have tissue in the room. Housekeeper very rigid and rude, I left the \"do not disturb\" sign. When I walk past the housekeeper and wanted to collect 2 bottles of water, they told me cannot because need to clean up my room than can give me the water. What policy is this???

The hotel is on a back alley in the center of the action! Close to markets, transportation, and a mall!! The best massage place is right next door to the hotel! There are dogs wandering outside , but that's all over Bangkok. There's also a rooster that will wake you. The breakfast was delicious and filling, pool very nice. There was construction but I never heard the noise. Overall I would stay there again!

Nice Place

It's a nice hotel with good food and friendly staff. The front desk speaks excellent English, which isn't always the case in Thailand. There isn't much to see or do in the area right around the hotel, but it's a few minutes from a subway station and not far from most attractions. It's a nice hotel to rest in for whatever you're doing in Bangkok.

The location is good and convenient as it is near a whole stretch of night markets about 10 minutes walk away. There is also a 7-eleven store less than a minute walk away. The hotel is still relatively new so everything looks good. Gave 4/5 for the hotel facilities because the balcony was not available for me and my friends. Also, we are only allowed to smoke beside the pool (closed at 8pm) and at the designated area at the ground floor which is a bit troublesome. Overall I am happy with my stay there and will definitely go back.

It was a pleasant stay. Friendly staff. Reasonable room size. Free room upgrade. Close to MRT.

However on the last day, after checking out we put our stuff at the Concierge which turn out to be a mistake.
Without locking the bag, my friend lost an ATM card and the password slip, and only realize that when he is back to HK.

Now he need to seek a replacement, next time when he is in Bangkok.

We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed every night of it. At night we would go out to the street markets which is a short stroll away.
The room was nice and clean, and the room service spot on. The only downside I can think of is that there wasn't much sound proofing between rooms. We could hear people next to us talking and doing things on the bed :))

A Nice Little Hotel...

We had a lovely short stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. There's nnight market located around the corner from the hotel as well some bars and restaurants. The temples (Grand Palace and Wot Pho) are about 40 minutes away so the overall location isn't too bad. We were happy with our stay.

Lovely staff who did all they could to assist. I misplaced my sunglasses at the pool and they searched CCTV and at the end of the following day my sunglasses were returned to me - amazing and unexpected service. Very comfortable, spacious room and bathroom, large screen TV, coffee and tea making facilities, air con and an in-room safe make this a comfortable hotel at a low cost. The pool on the 2nd floor provides welcome relief from the heat.
The hotel is very close to Huai Khwang MRT which is helpful cutting down the cost of transport and providing links to several sites. Overall I highly recommend this to travellers on a budget.

Location wise, there's really nothing much going on around the hotel as it is quite far from most touristy places. About a 10-12 min walk to the nearest underground train station.

Staff had minimal contact with us, but did not pose any problems at all.

Room was really clean and extremely comfortable.

Overall experience was awesome, I would go back. Distance is not really much of an issue especially if you use Grab app or just walk out to flag a taxi.

Chambre spacieuse et propre, petit déjeuner type buffet varié, proximité d'une station de métro (5 à 7 minutes de marche) qui ramène au centre de Bangkok directement, quartier animé. Pour un séjour de passage, c'est très correct au vu du prix. Pour accéder à l'hôtel, il y a un panneau sur le boulevard et qui conduit au bout d'une impasse.

シンプルながら清潔で、ロケーションもち地下鉄が近くてとても便利。今回レストランは利用しませんでしたが、メニューを見る限りはとてもリーズナブルな価格設定になっていると思いました。
ドンムアン空港からバス＋MRTで早く安く来ることができました。
近くにソンブーンシーフードもあるので、プーパッポンカレーを食べに行くにはすごく良いですね。
