Our stay at Monarque Hotel was absolutely amazing. From the very first moment the staff made a GREAT impression.

As soon as we arrived, we were provided with drinks and sweet treats. They also give a complimentary tea-time with snacks. In addition, every guest receives a voucher for a free Pho, which was delicious.

The quality and variety of the breakfast buffet is exceptional.

The pool, although small, it's excellent, and the cocktails at the bar are beautifully and very well prepared. The room was big and comfortable.

The Monarque is a beachfront Hotel, with a very convenient location, surrounded by many restaurants and cafés within walking distance.

This hotel is not just a place to stay. It is an experience. What truly made our stay more special was the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, professional, and always willing to help, often anticipating our needs before even asking. They make you feel cared for. This level of genuine hospitality is rare to find. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Staffs are very friendly and helpfully. They are willingly to accommodate our needs like calling local drug store for us, wrapping my hot pepper sauce jars, cutting fruits that we bought from local markets, sending our clothes to a local laundry store for a cheaper price, storing our luggages and packages which were delivered to us prior to our stay safely. Their buffet breakfast is delicious with different authentic local dishes every morning. We only went to their afternoon tea once but it’s very pleasant and had a quite sweet treats. Our group of 14 had a great time staying at the Monarque hotel.

My wife and I just spent another wonderful 12 nights at the Monarque, our 4th successive year.

We honestly can’t praise the hotel highly enough; definitely the best we have stayed at in our world travels. Everything about it is fabulous, especially the service, which is second to none. ALL staff are so obliging and helpful, and do everything possible to ensure a perfect and memorable stay.

What we also love about the hotel is:

- fabulous/extensive buffet breakfast
- included afternoon tea with nice selection of cakes & rolls
- clean, well appointed, and comfortable rooms. We stayed in a Royal Ocean view room, which was fantastic, but the Deluxe Rooms also looked really good.
- evening entertainment during Happy Hour in the upstairs bar
- pool and lounges
- location, just across the road from the beach and promenade (great for evening walks), and within close proximity to numerous restaurants and convenience stores.

The only negative, is we wish we could have stayed longer.

Looking forward already to returning next year.

Absolutely loved this hotel! I would stay here anytime I’m in Da Nang. The staff was so accommodating and nice. My first room was by the elevator and I told them I work US time while there so it’s too loud hearing kids & people going on/ off the elevator. They upgraded my room to such a quiet floor. Anything I needed they made sure I was comfortable. The hotel is beautiful & very clean. Thank you to Anita & the young bartender on the 12th floor!

The staff make this place amazing. They're always friendly and bend over backwards to make your stay memorable. The hotel location is across the street from the ocean and broad walk which makes for a lovely morning walk. Be aware that the hotel is outside of the main town but transportation is so cheap it didn't bother us. Highly recommend this hotel.

Our room was a mixed bag. Plenty of room but floor had not been swept and had dirt that got into our socks and feet. Second and most important the shower is poorly designed, the water does not properly drain into the tube and down the pipe. Instead it flows around the sides and onto the floor. This creates a wet mess on floor.

Overall the place looks worn and needs remodel. Both room and workout facility needs help. Lobby was good.

Food was a high point. Excellent food and dining facility.

Its a nice, very neat n pretty property managed by hardworking, smiling n ever helpful staff. The Guest Relations executives keep checking with you if everything is all right - Erika was every so forthcoming n helpful. Commend d management to keep the staff so motivated. The afternoon tea is set in d pretty bar on d roof next to d pool - rec everyone to try it atleast once. Breakfast speard is good with Shushi too n room service is also nice. They have a SPA, but i did not get a chance to use it. Area around d hotel is neat n walkable, with a nice beach across d road. The staff arranges cabs n Grab drops to d airport too... Loved the hotel n shall be back one day. Thank you for a lovely stay... Cheers.

Where do we start? This is one of the most amazing hotels we have ever been to! The property is gorgeous with a luxurious aesthetic and it’s conveniently located near restaurants and the beach. The staff members were so hospitable, warm and friendly. Erica and Anita were extremely helpful and attended to all of our needs. The food was delicious and we loved the afternoon tea. We highly recommend Monarque and can’t wait to return for a longer stay!

Does not meet north american 4-star rating!

My summary rating is although clean, in good location and has excellent service, I don't believe this hotel meets standards of 4-star rating based on condition of building and room and was not worth the price.
I have stayed at 5 hotels in vietnam across 4 cities (Hanoi, da nang, Hoi an and saigon), I am also top 5-10% hotel reviewer on Google maps, but this hotel unfortunately did not meet my standards for a 4-star hotel. This is an old hotel. Please look at pictures carefully. I was fooled by 9.4 rating on hotels.com and 4.7 google rating. I was very disappointed when I walked into the floor hallways and the room. The furniture is very very dated and walls have marks all over them, hallways is very old and its clear walls have not seen a fresh paint in many years. It's just not a luxury experience at all which was a huge turn down for me. Hallways seem like a 2-star hotel and room look like a 3-star hotel. Staff however provides 4-star services.
The room looks clean. AC worked fine and wifi was good. The room we booked was facing white walls of another building (which we knew). We also stayed in another hotel (6 buildings over at Minh Toan SAFI Ocean Hotel) for two nights for the same price and if you are debating, dont think twice and book the other one! Breakfast was good, afternoon tea was average. It was not value for money. I would consider this a solid 3-star hotel and most definitely not 4-star.I would give this hotel a 3.8or4/5 rating.Comp of $3USD was inadequate!

My wife and I have just spent 10 nights at the Monarque, an
exceptional hotel - the best we have experienced in our extensive world travels

Staff are so welcoming, friendly and professional. Big thanks to everyone, but especially Alice, Gaga, Vung, Rose, Erica, Amy and Jolie at reception, and Anna, the dining room manager.

Our Deluxe twin room was lovely, being spacious and comfortable with good aircon, super comfy beds, selection of English TV channels, cold fridge, reliable WIFI and excellent bathroom and shower. We were also upgraded to a seaview room for 3 nights and it was even better, being super spacious and affording a nice view of the sea and beach.

Our room rate included afternoon tea with a fantastic selection of tasty cakes, salad rolls and sandwiches.

The buffet breakfast is sumptuous; with a huge no of choices to suit western and asian tastes, and everything was continually topped up until finishing time.

The dining room was beautifully furnished, well laid out, and plenty big enough for all guests. Staff were also extremely attentive, promptly clearing empty plates etc.

The rooftop pool was a decent size and great spot to cool off. There are only 6 lounge chairs, but we usually managed to get a couple.

Location is perfect, being across the road from the beach and promenade, and close to many restaurants (Family Indian is great) and mini marts.The hotel also provides free pushbikes.

We would certainly recommend the Monarque Hotel. It is fantastic!!

We didn't get a room away from elevator as requested, but that's ok.
Nice touch was afternoon tea.
Hotel really looked after us, because wife couldn't sleep due to the noisy people using elevator, they have us a free 1 hour spa to help wife sleep.

We found this hotel to be an excellent choice for our 5 day stay in Da nang. It was across the highway to the beach. The beach was lovely. No litter or trash to speak up like other parts of Vietnam that we visited. There were bikes we could use coutesy of the hotel. We also enjoyed a massage as a perk to our extended stay. The free breakfast was large with various options each morning. Eggs, Pho, fruits, assorted main dishes and pastries. Afternoon tea is also available daily.
The staff was outstanding. Clara saw to our every need and is an asset to your hotel. Amy as well. I wish I had noticed all the others names. All the other staff from housekeeping, meal servers, chefs, bell hops, car/taxi attendents were attentive and courteous. Why would you not stay here! Thank you for our pleasant stay.
Dining options were abundant all along the beach. This hotel also has a pool.

Clean, comfortable, cost effective, friendly and attentive, delicious breakfast with lots of Western and Asian options, also offers afternoon tea from 2-5pm. Great for a nice a relaxing holiday. Kids seem to like the rooftop pool. Too cold for me to try 😁

If you're after comfortable rooms that aren't crammed, this hotel offers a lot of features that qualify. Such as shelves and storage spaces, hooks on the walls, chairs and other furnitures in all rooms.

The staff are well versed in answering questions relevant to the landmarks and activities. Friendly, approachable and always ready to help. Some of our next door guests were noisy so the hotel managers offered a free airport drop off for us.

The afternoon tea has a mix of sweets and savory options.

The breakfast was amazing 😍 a great mix of western and Asian food, pastries, pancakes and waffles, lots of fresh fruits, yoghurt, juices, fried rice, noodles, beef shanks, you name it! We've been mostly eating at the hotel. Additional to convenience is the peace of mind about the high hygiene level.

Location is close to the surf beach but a bit of walk to the town centre.

This has been the most comfortable and personable hotel stay that I've had.

It’s hard to overstate how solicitous and service-oriented the staff are. They had bottles of water for us nearly every time we left. They inquired about our stay and our plans for the day, offering expert advice about schedule and itinerary.

We took a day trip to Hoi An and didn’t follow the advice we were given. Our mistake, their suggested itinerary would have been much better than the daylong trip we took.

What a beautiful boutique hotel. From check in to check out they treat you like royalty. The staff are incredible, we loved Clara! We had a couples spa treatment which was great! We enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea from 3-5 and the 2 for 1 cocktails from 8-12. We ordered food in the lounge as well which was delicious! If you want to be completely pampered stay here. Only drawback is I don’t believe any rooms have a balcony which is too bad because the hotel faces the beach. Lots of restaurants across the street and the beach is SO perfect for walking, it’s so long!! We would stay here again for sure next time we stay in DeNang!

This hotel is amazing. It feels like a luxury experience. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The pool is nice and the rooftop bar is so pretty. The best part of the experience is the staff. They are so helpful and go out of their way to help you or make you feel comfortable. Dory was amazing and made me feel at home. If I come back to Da Nang I will only stay at this hotel.

One critique would be for the hotel to become an adult only hotel. All the children I met there were misbehaved, running around and screaming. I would pay double if the hotel didn't allow children.

We booked a Seaview family room and e morn view was beautiful. The room was clean and spacious. Buffet breakfast has a good spread and they changed some of e items every day. We totally enjoyed the breakfast as well as e complimentary high tea from 3 to 5pm. The only thing I can think of improvement is e gym. Most of e equipments r not working, dumbbells are few. However I prefer gg to e beach for morn runs during my stay so not an issue.

I loved my stay at Monarque hotel and this is probably one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at (in Vietnam but also around the world).

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (especially Clara!), and everyone spoke fluent English, and some staff can speak Mandarin Chinese as well.

The rooms were quite large and clean, the breakfast had a lot of options and was very good. The location was excellent - right across from the beach and near many good restaurants. Taxis parked outside of the hotel so it was easy to get around as well.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and would love to stay here again if I come back to Da Nang!

I couldn't speak more highly of Monarque! From the moment we entered, we were greeted with some yummy snacks and drinks as we waited in the ornate lobby. Our room was beautiful and spacious, and the breakfast every morning was superb with a large variety to choose from—I could have stayed and dined there for hours!

What made Monarque one of my favorite places I've stayed at, however, was how the staff went above and beyond after I lost my phone and was feeling pretty discouraged. One of the staff members informed me that someone had found my phone case with my ID and cards and contacted the staff at Monarque to reach me. To help me get my phone case back, one of the staff members from Monarque went with us to the visitor center (even insisting she pay for the taxi on the way there!), communicated and translated everything for us with the staff at the visitor center, and offered to wait there for my phone case to be dropped off as my friends and I grabbed a quick dinner.

Even without this situation, our stay was already so wonderful, and everyone who worked at Monarque was so sweet to us! I'm truly appreciative of the kindness and support that the staff at Monarque showed me during a tough time and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone who's looking for a lovely stay. :)

Certainly one of the best travel experiences in my life. Fittingly the Monarque treated us like royalty from the minute we arrived until the Grab taxi took us to the airport. Staff seemed to know that we liked even before we did. Superb food, luxurious rooms and 5-star service. Excellent value for money.

Kind service crews, neat room, nice price

I think this hotel must be one of the most caring hotel in Da Nang. Service crews were always kind and asked about possible inconvenience. And thet always try to recommend us about Da Nang to travel better.
The price is very reasonable. Rooms were managed so clean. And the meal services such as breakfast was so great.

ALIYAH and her co-workers(Dory,Clara, and Jake) always try to connect with us without being intrusive. Very well trained staff but you cannot train genuineness right? Their boss must have good eyes for talent in service industry.
All hotel offerings and accommodation are great, hotel is clean, location is awesome, and value is unbelievable. ALIYAH’s service was cherry on top.

Nice Seaview, Room are big and the bed are comfort. The doorman’s are kind and helpful, I travel with my Mum, and she can’t walk properly. whenever they saw my mum, they will come and hold her, make sure she won’t fall. This made us so touched. Every afternoon, hotel provide a free high-tea, nice pastry and refreshment to enjoy 😊 . Overall the staffs are polite, helpful and friendly. 5 star service 👍

I love this hotel.

I decided to extend one more night stay because the overall services and conditions are excellent. The staffs are friendly and professional. They are very helpful on whatever one asks for. Complementary afternoon tea break plentiful.

Location wise, the beach is within the walking distance and surrounded by a lot of restaurants.

Just a few suggestions on having a few mote power outlet in the room, printed inf for self-tour, motre gym equipment and more local dishes for BF.

Boutique hotel with 5 star service

Upon check in we were greeted by 5 star service until checkout. The French provincial style is bit overwhelming but the service the staff provide is nothing but 5 stars. The hotel offers complimentary buffet breakfast and afternoon high tea. Special mention to Clara and Aaliyah who went above and beyond!

Great staff who are ever so helpful. Special shout out to Clara who has helped me with my many queries and always service a smile.

The breakfast is great with a good variety of selection.

However the massage at the spa was very disappointing. Both my husband n I didnt get the relaxation we badly need. The masseurs seems inexperienced and the technique used are all over the place.

Overall still an enjoyable stay st the hotel. Great people n great food.

A tremendous hotel, great location, great people, we were in 801, magnificent view of ocean. A true little gem of a hotel, if you stay here you will not be disappointed. More restaurants than you can imagine, staff gave us excellent advice on where to go to sightseeing places. All staff were a great example of true Guest service, we will return in the future to once again enjoy the hospitality of this great hotel.

Words can’t express how wonderful this hotel and staff members are. From the moment we arrived everyone was pleasantly helpful to me and my party of 8. We had expressed that we were vegetarian and we were taken care of excellently. Aliyah was wonderful in giving us assistance and tips for our holiday, as were the whole hotel staff team. Leo our driver for some of our day trips was also excellent and good fun!

This hotel is an absolute gem! It is placed along the beachfront, and just a quick taxi ride to the dragon bridge and surrounding areas. It is perfectly located to do all activities and sight seeing around Danang. Lovely pool, lovely bar and lovely facilities including the spa and massage inside the hotel.

After we checked out and moved into Hanoi, we had left behind a purse at the Monarque Hotel. They were prompt in informing us and did not hesitate to mail the items to our new hotel by the next day. This just goes to show how accommodating the staff is at this hotel!

Absolutely wonderful, we will definitely be returning to this hotel if we are ever in Vietnam again! Once again special thanks to Aliyah and the whole team, you guys were amazing!

Fantastic little hotel

This is the most amazing hotel and the service is superb. It’s only relatively small compared to others nearby but provides a perfect haven from the chaos of Da Nang. When we arrived we were placed near the penthouse which was noisy because several families with small children were there. On making the mildest of complaints via hotels.com they upgraded us to a huge room with sweeping views of the seafront. They couldn’t do enough for us. The afternoon tea is free and superb. The pool is a bit small but we always found a chair and you can always cross the road and hire a sun lounge n the beautiful beach where there is a breeze and lots to watch. Staff always took time to make sure we were happy and nothing was too much trouble. Be aware of massive building works in the area but we were only inconvenienced by lack of footpath not really by noise. Thanks to Dory and Clara.
