Our team of six stayed at Hyatt House Lansing University Area while traveling for work, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. Coordinating lodging for a group can sometimes be challenging since everyone has different schedules and needs, but this hotel made it easy.

The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, giving everyone plenty of space to relax after long workdays. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and always willing to assist, helping make our stay seamless.

One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast. It was simple, fresh, and offered enough variety that everyone in our group could find something they enjoyed before heading out for the day. Having breakfast available onsite saved us valuable time each morning.

Parking was another major advantage. There was ample, convenient parking, which made coming and going hassle-free for our team. The location was also ideal, with easy access to the university area, local restaurants, and major roads.

For business travelers, especially groups with varying needs and schedules, Hyatt House Lansing University Area is a fantastic choice. The combination of comfortable accommodations, friendly service, convenient parking, and a reliable breakfast made our work trip much more enjoyable. We would gladly stay here again on future visits to the Lansing area.

Everything was amazing!! The only reason I picked good and not excellent is because I think it’s ridiculous that they charge $14/night to park. I’m paying to stay there so parking should be included especially since it’s a little bit of a walk from the parking lot to the hotel.

The room was great for our party of 4. The pull out couch seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned so they must not pull it out at every clean but we had a set of sheets and pillow in the closet to use. The shower head was terrible, you had about 6 streams of low pressure water coming out. The pool was good for the kids. I really liked how close the stores and restaurants were.

Our room was clean & had everything we needed & honestly more - a glass measuring cup & dish soap / sponge! The staff was wonderful & helped me restock items in the kitchen : paper towels & trash bags. This was the perfect stay for traveling with a baby. The breakfast was great & the coffee was so good! Juana, at the front desk, went above and beyond to make our stay flawless. She was friendly and super helpful. I cannot speak highly enough of the phenomenal service we received from Juana during our visit. Whether offering great local recommendations or simply checking in to ensure our comfort, her attention to detail made a noticeable difference. Juana's natural ability to connect with guests turned a standard hotel stay into a truly memorable trip. She's an absolute keeper. Hyatt is lucky to have her!

We booked this room for Memorial Day weekend to have a small vacation with our grandchildren in Michigan. We were looking forward to using the restaurant and bar and the kids were excited to spend the day in the indoor pool. For some reason the hotel decided to close the restaurant, bar, and pool on Memorial Day. WHAT????? The holidays are when people visiting family rent hotel rooms. We were not notified of this when we booked. Also they had the water turned off for four hours one day. This hotel is HORRIBLY managed to do this to it's guests. I expect a refund because the amenities we paid for were inaccessible. Never again will we stay at Hyatt!!!

Room was spotless and silent, I don’t think we heard another guest our entire stay, despite them being fully booked. The rooms were a great size, had a mini fridge/freezer and microwave in room! Also plenty of storage and a full desk. It was nice to set up and unpack, and not feel like we’re living out of our suitcase. The man at the front desk that checked us in was so kind and helpful, and told us all the amenities and local spots to check out! The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained, we will definitely be back!

We just returned from staying at this hotel and we loved it. The hotel is very modern and chic and very clean. The hotel was very crowded but oddly enough, we never heard a peep when in our room. I will say there was only one desk clerk and we had to wait about 10 minutes just to check in. There seemed to be a large group with a kid's basketball team that were all checking in around the same time. It would have helped to have had another clerk though. All in all, I would highly recommend this Hyatt. Be prepared to pay $14 to park in their lot though. There were spots right outside the door in their lot but we were told there was no overnight parking there even though we recognized some of the same vehicles wjen we checked out from thr night before parked there. That is my only complaint.

Hotel and room fine. The breakfast was disappointing and the parking is ridiculous. In minus 4 degrees I dropped my wife off at the lobby to check in. I had to park almost a block away. Walked to the lobby only to be told I need to put a pass in my car so I had to go back to the car then back to the lobby - all in minus 4 degrees. Then I find out parking is $15. Don’t think I’ll be staying there again and my son goes to MSU so will be up again

Wonderful hotel with a spotless, comfortable room. A bit like being on campus as it's basically a university hotel, but that made things interesting. Close to a shopping restaurant district which was a plus. The breakfast buffet was one of the better we've had. The only negative might be parking as it's a detached lot not right on property and was an extra 14$. But all in all a very good deal.

The front desk staff was nowhere to be found at check-in. I waited outside the locked front doors calling the front desk for over 5 minutes and then got in with assistance from a guest. From there, I waited about 10 minutes and she finally arrived back to her work station. She was great to work
With but her absence causing a long waiting time was very annoying.

So much was excellent - the only complaint was the checking In experience. No one was at the desk and it took several attempts by maintenance staff to locate a front desk person. We waited 10 minutes. Also they did not give us any preparation on how to utilize the automated technology in the rooms
