Room and motel was not clean and looked old and had stains on the walls and doors. This motel is old and needs to have some renovation or at least repaint and maintenance. I won’t be back again. Especially for the room rate, too much cost for the type of motel. It has strong marijuana smell in the room nearby as well. Rate was about 90+ but in the condition of this motel I wouldn’t pay more than 50 a night. The bed was also uncomfortable and couldn’t sleep well. Not going back.

We were only here at this hotel briefly. We booked it to sleep for 1 night after attending an event and we didn't want to drive all the way back home. The staff was polite, the property was quiet but the condition of the room was not the best. The bed wasn't very comfortable, there was no TV signal so we couldn't watch television when we got back to our room, luckily I had my iPad with me and the wifi signal was good for streaming. The office chair had a huge hole in it, there was a used wash cloth left in the shower hanging over the shower rail, but the room seemed clean. The fridge and microwave worked great. We didn't have too high of an expectation for the price and the cosmetic stuff didn't really bother us but I was hoping to at least be comfortable. The biggest thing that was frustrating was, in the morning when our neighbors took a shower, the whole wall vibrated and sounded like a tornado in the wall. The pipes shook so loudly, our shower would rattle while our neighbors showered. So I was woken up earlier than I wanted to be from the multiple showers happening next door. We didn't use the shower so I can't comment on how it was.
There was a choice between this hotel and one other that was budget friendly and closest to our event. We chose this one for the reviews on cleanliness compared to other. It was clean (other than the used washcloth) but not very comfortable.

The property was clean and the host friendly and kind. However, upon check in the property was clean but in poor condition. There were two broke drawers, graffiti on the furniture, the counter top was dirty, the shower needs caulking, the floor boards under the desk are loose, etc.

My second time at Rodeway Inn

Needed an inexpensive clean safe place to call home while I visited my children in Adelanto. Found it at the Rodeway Inn. No problem getting a replacement key when I misplaced mine. Friendly staff who take the time to smile. I will be back.

The room that I stayed in they were things that needed to be fixed repaired like the chair at the table wheels were missing people was just a hole with tissue stuck in it drawers had gang writing in it shower knob falls off takes 5 to 10 minutes for hot water to heat up. And had to go back three times to get the key remagnetized

I stayed here from feb 23rd to the 25th. The room smelled like month old stale cigarettes. We went to apple valley for a few hours and when we came back, there was a water bubble in the corner wall above the sink & due to that, it was leaking water for hours. It finally ruptured during us sleepingand the sink and counter was covered in water. The light outside of the bathroom was also broke.

Honestly, for what it was — a motel when a bed was absolutely required — it was fine. Sure the room smelled of old cigarette smoke and disinfectant, and one of the locks was busted, and there were no outlets anywhere near the bed, and the pillows were probably as old as the motel, it served its purpose.

We moved rooms 3 times. The rooms are extremely dirty. They all smell like smoke even the no. Smoking rooms. The bed covers have cigarette burns and it was just bad. We kindly asked for another room and the staff was very nice and tried to accommodate. Unfortunately, all rooms were badly cleaned. Will never stay again.

Our stay was okay until we got up Sunday morning at 4:00am and found out the shower did not work. Two adults that had been out in the desert for four hours the day before and were heading back out there with no way to shower to start our day. To say we were not happy is an understatement. We have been staying at this hotel for a couple of years, several times a year and the condition of the hotel just from July to October was surprisingly disappointing. I am not sure what we will do next year especially given the rates went up almost 25.00 over the summer.

Gets the job done!

The room was clean and serviceable. The linens are aged and getting threadbare. the manager was able to make a late change to our room needs a few days before checking in. We did have to ask for the extra towel set as there were three of us in the room instead of two. No access to lobby when we checked in so I was standing out in very windy conditions trying to sign the paperwork through the pass through window.... that was annoying

Upon checkin there was a large group on the balcony being very loud while cars were racing in and out of the property. the manager said they have a sick person in the hospital.... really? I asked for a ADA room due to mobility issues and ended up on the top floor with no elevator. The room is \"C\" rated and should have the health permit pulled. The chair was covered in refried beans, spoiled milk etc., staining the cabinet by the fridgerator, cigarette burns in the bed spread, non working hair dryer and a sink that doesn't drain. Late nite what do you do? Had to stay due to early work and lack of hotels in the area. We fixed the curtins so no one could see in. The beds are probably 20 years old as well and running hot water the valve screaches so loud you couldn't hear yourself think. When I asked the next morning about it the manager said no one told him, I stated it is ultimately his responsibility for the condition along with the cleaning crews. FYI there is no breakfast as well... NOT WORTH $132.00

I booked a room on Expedia and within a few minutes I realized I reserved the wrong date...literally 5 minutes later. They would not change my reservation and they would not let me cancel even though the reservation was 4 weeks out. They must know that they're not a well sought out facility if they didn't think they could fill the reservation with another traveler over the course of a month.

Despite being right on 395 highway, this is one of quietest rooms I’ve had. Decent size room & comfortable bed. It is a little difficult to find since they widened the hwy. The building is older & could use some updates but I’ve stayed here twice & recommend it for the area.

Lots of things were disappointing. The soap bars were so small they barely lasted for one shower. The towels had holes in them and were the thinnest I’ve seen. The toilet would take 2-3 flushes for a pee and no paper. There was caked on dirt in almost every corner of the room. We had a downstairs room by request, little did we know that we would hear every footstep from the room above. The floor and walls are paper thin, extremely noisy. Check-in wasn’t fun either. You must ring a bell then wait and wait and wait. To make it even more painful you must stand outside to check-in, I finally asked the clerk if I could come inside since it was bitter cold outside. For the price this place is no deal at all.

Dirty, grimmy and noisy, with no water to shower!

The hotel is really run down. My room had dirt, food splatter, and grime all over the walls and doors. The furniture was scratched and broken, animal hair on the desk chair, and some slimy dried up stuff on the table and nightstand. Towels were stained and old. AND THE SHOWER WAS COMPLETELY BROKEN AND NO WATER!

The man at the office was super friendly and nice and helpful..Only thing i didnt like is that when i got into the room none of the cieling lights worked except for the bathroom one, I had to use the lamps which was not that big of a deal,the room I got was non smoking however there was a cigarette butt on the floor in between the beds and there was tobacco flakes as well on floor. Room did not seem like it was swept or clean as i also found alot of clothes in the drawers. That was the only downstairs room available so i was not able to get a different one, the man at the front desk was very nice and the only thing he could do was give me an air freshner to spray in the room

The room was nasty. We arrived at 3:08 p.m, we reserved two rooms. The rooms were not clean yet. We asked the to manager move from those rooms, we had an event at 4, he was willing to change and gave us two more rooms. One of the rooms smelled of marijuana, the other one was broken by two lights. We asking again to move and he said the initial rooms were ready and not, we were waiting until the housekeeper finish her work. The sheets were dirty. and the towels brown stain, the bathroom door has feces, the tub pubic hair. and lights were broken, one drawer door was broken. In-room number two, small. smoke, the lights are broken, the sheets dirty and the next morning asked for extra towels because we are two adults and two children and only we have two little towels and the manager said no because the housekeeper door was not open until 11 am.
This hotel is a ruin and I never go back to this hotel. The housekeeper were minors.

I have stayed in a few disgusting motels in my years, but this one takes the cake. Absolutely filthy. Broken deadbolt. Graffitti in on the shower wall and on a lamp shade. Broken TV remote. Sticky floors. Stains on the walls. Garage sale furniture. Stale smoke smell. There is literally nothing positive I can say, except the gentleman at the desk was pleasant.
