The breakfast was great and the \"Tack Room\" was a super place for a cocktail at the bar and a steak dinner. Super! The old town was very clean and the square peaceful and relaxing.

The room was ok. It’s a lot of things not really specified before booking like the shared balcony. River view will have to be something you can choose and actually get not just leave a note on a regular room. Although it’s luxurious it’s very unsafe if you’re not just staying within the hotel. YOU CAN NOT WALK AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF THE PROPERTY AT ALL. Don’t listen to the UBER OR LYFT DRIVER TRYING TO TAKE YOU INTO MEXICO.

I had to stay in the Posada since I was a kid for the last 45 years but this time I will say the hotel still remains an icon in Laredo as well kept peaceful, clean, quiet, but the service needs to be addressed. Customer service is not what it used to be front desk just barely minimum doing the service the bar and restaurant the lady is like she’s making you a favor for her for you to stay in the hotel so basically the hotel is still a nice place nevertheless competition is first and customer service supposed to be better or oriented for being a little bit more friendly. I would say that.

This was our second time staying here, and overall, our experience was good. The hotel has a charming antique vibe — a little old-fashioned, but that’s what makes it unique and full of character. The beds and sheets were very comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the location is great.

Had a bad experience when we arrived to our room and found a leak, it had been acknowledged because there was a trash can under the leak that was overflowing with water, staff took around 10-15 mins to move us to another room that had the same problem. We were tired at this point so just slept with the noise but the room smelled humid and the bed sheets made me and my family itchy. As mentioned in many other reviews, the place needs updating, but the staff is nice and tried to make the stay as pleasant as possible, unfortunately this is the second and last time we stay here.

Growing up in Laredo, I have many memories of La Posada as a kid and I must say La Posada is Nostalgic and still has that quality of a genuine, Laredo landmark neighboring San Agustin Cathedral and Plaza. Other competitive accommodations were more expensive yet located in North Laredo and La Posada is located where Interstate 35 begins practically at the US side of the border at International Bridge 2. Barely a 9 hour stay, I wish I could have experienced their restaurants which are also some of the best of Laredo. Parking was also a breeze and secure.

Outdated room overall, from furniture to fixtures. Dirty carpet all around, parking lot overall looks abandoned and dirty. No available towels at the pool area. House keeping entered my room around 9am to attempt to clean. No offense but your front desk staff needs training on real hospitality. From language, to smiles, proactive habits, etc.

I thought the hotel was great! I really enjoyed the authentic vibe the hotel had. The pool areas were nice. The lobby bar was welcoming, with awesome bartenders.
Plus, I loved the upscale restaurant next door, The Tack Room. It’s a shame they talked about remodeling the bar on the Tack Room. I did like the old west theme they had going on in the bar. If they do decide to remodel it, I hope they can capture some of that old west Rio Grande vibe speakeasy aesthetic. That would be cool!

The Hotel is beautiful and family friendly. We were in town for a family social event and really didn't get to enjoy all of the amenities that the hotel offered. The staff went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They were very attentive and gracious. We would defiantly stay again!!
