This was a very clean hotel with a very well stocked breakfast.
The reason for our lower star review was their pool was they couldn't get the door unlocked to the pool.
We were told by the front desk that she would call and get it figured out....we waited.....then she told us that she couldn't get in there tonight but that maintenance would be there at 6 am to get it open. We went to bed with hopes of our 9 year old getting to swim for a short time in the morning before we had to leave.
Then at 7:00am my husband goes down to the front desk and they tell him that the door is still locked and maintenance won't be in until 9am to open the door. We had to leave by 8:45 to get to our destination on time so we left with a very upset 9 year old and honestly I was a little irritated that they kept giving us the run around about it. If the door is broken and unable to be opened then say so....it would have been better if they had just told us last night that swimming was off the table because they don't know how to operate their door system or don't care enough about guest satisfaction to send someone in to simply open a door. I'm just glad no one was locked in the pool area because evidently it would have been a job for the fire department!

There was a piece of metal sticking out of the bed. It was not apparent because it was covered by the spread. I was walking around the bed and ran into it. I suffered a gash on my left leg. The wound bleed profusely. Three staff members came to our room. They were very concerned. I don’t know why the metal was there. Housekeeping had to be aware of it.
Even though they credited our room, I was disappointed with the situation.

WAY over rated on Expedia! Room and hotel were both clean...but it ends there. Flashing (strobe--like) light every 7-8 seconds from smoke detector above bed, ALL night...breakfast that was about the cheapest and worst I have had in some time...(steamed pre-formed eggs with half warm cheese and reheated undercooked links)...would not stay again...3 stars is VERY generous.

The first room we were given had trash on the floor in the corner. In addition, the air conditioner was in pieces and not even plugged in. Second room was better but not what one would expect for $100/night. The carpets were filthy and you could tell that they don't really clean the room. they may have changed the sheets and towels but that was about it. The bathroom door had something on it, I am guessing hair spray or deodorant that someone had sprayed. I used a wetwipe to clean the door off. The shower curtain barely it the tub so water went everywhere when the shower was used. I don't think I really like the idea of putting full sized bathroom products in the rooms. Grouting and caulking in the tub was gross and moldy. There was one light switch that didn't work, could be an electrical issue. As I stood there flipping it on and off I envisioned the tv going on and off in the room next door! IYKYK. So basically just an OK place to stay, but won't stay there again.

Disgusting conditions. Pool was dirty and left clothes stinking. Dryers were broken and had to resort to laundry mat with our lengthy stay. Rooms were dirty and not cleaned in the 5 day stay. We had to go to the desk to retrieve towels and wash cloths. Gym air conditioning did not work and sweaty towels stayed on the floor for 3 days.

We had excellent service by the front desk staff. We could not get the sound to work on our TV the first night and the front desk person came to our room with a different remote. I can't remember her first name. The TV still didn't work but she said the maintenance person would be there in the morning which was fine with us. The next morning the front desk person, Kristian, assessed the TV and he said he would get us a different room. When we got to the new room, that TV wouldn't work and Kristian got another remote and got the TV to work. This is a long story, but the summary is that Kristian and the evening front desk person provided excellent customer service to resolve the TV issues and did so cheerfully. They went out of their way to make our stay a good one. It was clean and had a good breakfast but the staff is what will make us come back the next time we are in Enid.

The smoke alarm was covered in a red greasy substance. The front desk woman told me the first time it started going off they were waiting on a part. Later checking out after it had went off multiple times (which required a full on trip down to the front desk to turn off) the guy blamed it on the heat and blamed the alarm being covered in goop on the guys who work/stay there.

Nice foyer area near front desk and also the neat breakfast nook hidden behind a French door with plenty of tables and chairs. Concerning they had a roof leak in the dining area.
It was hidden behind a tarp.
Enjoyed the indoor pool. Concerned with the mold on the ceiling in a room inside the pool area. Very humid in there also being it was a heated pool.
Probably needs more ventilation.
Saw some exterior repairs that needs to be addressed as well; electrical conduit broken and straps missing, a screen needed to be screwed down, and I believe some gutters out back needed to be strapped down/fixed.
The front exterior sliding door was loud and not properly working.
Frustrated when we would go out the side door and there’s no card pad to reenter so had to go around front to get back in. Most hotels have keypads all around building. The room was nice and spacious. A little concerning there seemed to be a lot of moisture in the room on the floor. Didn’t know if it had to do with the leaks in the building.
It would be a great hotel with some care and much needed repairs.
I feel they need to bring in professional contractors and not just handy/maintenance men who work there. That’s too much on their plate.
I hope you share this with the hotel for recommendations.

After arriving slightly early we came into a rickety sliding front door to check in. The girl behind desk seemed stressed and would not let us check in a bit early, so we waited patiently. We then went to our room near laundry shoot (noisy) where we discovered an old bed spring bed (extremely uncomfortable), a shabby room with walls in ruin and shower/toilet very janky. The WiFi didn’t work at all but luckily had hotspot to rebook another room elsewhere to sleep comfortably while in town for a family emergency. I reached out to Hotels.com to retrieve a 2 day refund but Country Inn in Enid would not refund us. The price we paid for this 2 day stay was absolutely not worth the money and on top of that we had to book another hotel so we could sleep comfortably in a clean room while in town for a very hard family issue. I am disappointed this hotel would not accommodate this refund. Trust me when I say I highly recommend staying elsewhere if you have a choice. The ratings on Hotels.com were misleading stating “exceptional”. Hardly the case.

We stayed for an extended stay of 5 nights. The hotel staff knew we had 4 people in a double queen room. However, they stated they are “not allowed” to give any replacement towels, but they would “give us one.” We were told to take the dirty towels down to the “laundry shoot” ourselves, and were never given fresh ones after that. The room was not cleaned one time while we were there. We did not expect the hotel to clean the room, we just needed fresh towels!
The positives:
The pool is clean and a nice area to relax. The breakfast has a lot of options, and they also provided “to-go” options as well.

Property was in nice area. We stayed overnight out of necessity as someone was having a sleep study done. The hotel lobby is nice. The staff was nice. Check in went smoothly. I didn’t think the room was anything special. Beds were just okay. Could’ve been more comfortable . My bottom sheet had what looked to be an old stain from Candy or a popsicle. I could tell that it had been bleached. Since near the foot of the bed and relatively small I didn’t stress over it. Felt the bathroom floor around the edges could’ve been cleaner. The toilet was standard size - which I’m not handicapped, but for older people like my mom it would be nice to have the chair height. Just a suggestion. Also the toilet seat was very loose. An easy fix. We did not stay for breakfast so no opinions on that. It was one of the cheaper hotel options in Enid for that side of town. Probably would not stay there again unless my only option. .

I was very upset that the pool was shut down. This was the entire reason I booked this hotel. I had even looked at the hotel website before booking to check. Then we were not even told when I arrived I had to ask. The front desk worker was very nice but didn't know who I should contact. Then, during our stay, I found a used soap bar in the shower and a dirty stranger sock next to the bed. .

Looks clean from a distance, but not up close. The breakfast has gone downhill also
They fill it up at 6am and don't refill anything. By 8am no muffins, milk, OJ, just to name a few. I asked the breakfast kitchen lady and she said everything was thawing and still frozen. Now it's like they're only allowed to put out so much food and once it's gone that's it and what is left of the hot food if any, is crusty and old been sitting there for a couple hours. Cream cheese sitting out at room temperature when the package says keep refrigerated.

Stay was horrible! No heat in the room, when I complained was told, they are aware of the issue & to try turning up the heat, it up will take a couple hours to warm up. Not true only got up to 61 all night. No apology just snotty remark when I checked out. TV remote did not work, had to go to the desk 3 times & still TV did not work, they did not offer to fix it. Elevator was dirty, bathroom was filthy & a big carpet stain on the floor. Tried to ask for a manager told she would not be there for a couple days. We stayed here 6 months ago and it was fine, what the heck happened?

This was a return visit to the Country Inn in Enid, OK.
On the positive side, it was clean, easy to find, and far enough off the road that there was no road noise. Our \"suite\" was very well laid out. Breakfast was good.
On the flip side, there were multiple examples of poor DIY repairs in the room, especially in the bathroom. There were places in the room that needed repair. The TV was impossible to use or figure out. It had lots of blank channels, snow, and no guide. We quit trying after a while.
We may stay here again if the price is excellent, but we will be cautious as the facility may show wear over time.

Old horrible hotel. Dated, dirty and in disrepair. Cleaning service only on 3rd day. Burnt out light bulbs in room. Thread bare towels. Paper thin bed covers. Extra small pillows. Grout falling off bathroom tiles. Faucet falling off the shower/tub wall. Torn shower curtain. Dirty window curtains. Chipped painted furniture. Ceilings in disrepair. Questionable cleanliness of carpet and sticky tile floors. Broken elevator on one evening, one of our guests got stuck inside. Cockroaches in stairwell. Subpar breakfast. Will not be back and will not recommend.
We were a party of 6 in 4 rooms. Everyone felt the same way.
Only positive was Friendly staff.

Overall, a very nice value for hotel stay. Country Inn has a nice, welcoming vibe in the foyer. Citrus infused water, apples, oranges, coffee and cookies are available. Breakfast was great! With DIY pancakes, sausages, eggs, potatoes,oatmeal to name a few. Grab and go option, ie bagels, muffins, fruit are available.

We stayed here in November ‘23 and had a much better experience. This time our room was missing several things such as remote control, tray for coffee pod in the inroom coffee maker, and hair dryer. The AC couldn’t keep up with the humidity so we had to blast it to keep the moisture down. The remote didn’t work for the living area tv. We had to ask for extra soap because they only clean the room every 3 days. The trash cans also got really full because no one came to empty them. Had I known that prior to booking I would not have stayed. I understand not changing the sheets every night for a stay over guest, but you can at least tidy the room and replenish supplies as needed. The breakfast buffet was good. We love the waffles!!

Front desk was friendly. For the second time during a visit to this hotel the toilet did not work. We put up with it one day waiting for maintenance. By the second day they offered to let change rooms. The curtains were torn and dirty. The chair at the desk was worn and peeling. There was a large spot outside our door maybe Clorox spill?
The cabinet that held the refrigerator was chipped, the door barely closed. The fitness center floor was very dirty. This hotel needs new furniture, ne curtains, carpeting, and a good cleaning.

This hotel was very clean and had great breakfast options! There were a few downsides to what room we were in particularly, our room had a bright white flashing from the smoke detector, and we were next to a laundry chute so there was a weird sound every 3 seconds. We think it was the air current going through the chute but we weren't sure. The room was cozy but wished we had more space in between the bed and the desk. The pool was also in good condition and nice and warm.

The condition of the accommodations was substandard, with evident neglect. Furniture exhibited signs of excessive wear and tear, including stains, tears, and holes. The sofa bed pull-out was unsanitary, covered in crumbs and filth, lacking appropriate bedding. The provided bedding was in poor condition, torn and worn out. The bathroom presented hygiene concerns, with mold buildup and drainage issues, requiring guests to stand in around 2” unclean water during showering. Additionally, the room displayed structural damage, with noticeable wall deterioration and broken glass. Despite these shortcomings, the check-in attendant demonstrated exceptional customer service, maintaining a friendly and polite demeanor and is the only reason I would not give this hotel ZERO Stars.
