The pool wasn't heated and therefore useless. It cost more to stay there but we wanted to use the pool which was to cold to use. The heater in our first room didn't work so we had to change rooms after we had unpacked. The TV was all messed up. We had stayed there many times but won't be staying there again

room was very old outdated. Don’t know when the last time it was properly cleaned, the chair was old raggedy, and the plastic on the chair was burnt and peeling off. I notify the desk. They said they knew it was like that I even took pictures, there was no housekeeper available for three days.

We were traveling & got behind in time & didnt get to check in until 2-3am...one of us is physically challenged & had a dog...The man Ronnell who checked us in was wonderful...Housekeeping named Carnisha was very accomodating...PK was horrible...we knew it was going to be a rough morning so we asked for an hour late checkout @ 12...the night guy said yes just let them know in the morning...We tried to do that & Pk said emphatically,no & we had to PAY an extra $25 each room per hour...They started knocking around 9am waking me up after not getting good rest as it is..Knocked 3 more times after that...I have NEVER experienced this LACK of hospitality in my life...The hotel itself is fine...This man is in the wrong field & i would NOT recommend this hotel to my friends or family nor will i be back & i travel ALOT & know many travelers!

The room was an average two bed room. Our only problem was every time the heat went on it sounded like an airplane. I did advise the front desk about it. The lady in the breakfast area was very nice and helpful to anyone who needed it.

I will never make a reservation at this hotel again. The room was not clean - the tub was nasty and there were stains on the carpet.
My daughter arrived at 10:45pm but she did not feel comfortable staying so she left the hotel 15 minutes later. The person at the front desk didn’t appear to be surprised or concerned.

This hotel has unfortunately been seriously neglected. We had a second-floor room, and there were soft spots in the floor where it was spongy. The bathroom door handle was falling off, the back of the door was shredded at the bottom like a dog had been locked in it. the entire hotel was very worn down. We could hear the traffic like it was in our room. The buffet breakfast was decent, and the staff was nice.

MORE THAN 45 min delay at lobby to get
Room. Paid thru Expedia. No record of reservation. No help at front desk. 12 guests checked in while we WAITED and WAITED. Expedia called the front desk to straighten it out, but he was busy with checking in another guest and did not take the call. After another 20+ min we were given a room.
- we don’t intend to use Expedia again
- we don’t intend to use your hotel again!!!

- You & Expedia need to make improvements so this never happens again.

- if you could give us a room when nothing had changed, WHY NOT DO IT EARLIER!!

THIS WAS A GIGANTIC DISAPPOINTMENT!

Initially booked for travel w past experience of Country Inn's. KNOWING NOW Country Inn have merged w CHOICE Hotels....WOULD NEVER book again. CHOICE has proven to among the worst, this was no different.
Unsafe electrical (open box behind nightstand, no GFI in bath, open AC unit); floors on 2nd flr were uneven; breakfast well below normal (selection & quality). However, these are TYPICAL of CHOICE.

The front desk clerks were very helpful and friendly. That was a plus. Sadly there were some minuses. 1. The hallway in the second floor has weak wood throughout the length of which made it feel like we were going to fall through. It definitely should be checked for termites. 2. When I walked in the room it had a pretty bad odor of urine. 3. The furniture was worn. The arms of the chair in my friend's room had big chunks missing from them. 4. So that I can sleep well when I'm away, I'm very pleased when my room is pitch black. Well, I had drapes I was able to close, but they feel a little above the bottom of the window, so at night light filtered in through that opening. The longer drapes that many hotels have in addition to the short ones were non existent in my room

This hotel was the dirtiest I have been in. The floors were filthy. There was terrible odor in the hall those rugs were also dirty . The cushions for the sofa had mold stains all over. The remote was sticky. The walls and molding had food? Splatters . Poor lighting conditions , tub shower set up was outdated. No venting in the bathroom . I would hesitate to stay at another Country inn while traveling.

The rooms need to be updated, curtains wouldn't shut all the way due to falling off off of track, carpets are dirty, the sheets on our bed were never changed, full of body hair and dirty tissues. We were given a different room for the night, both rooms had an unpleasant odor to them. Definitely do not recommend.

This hotel is going down. The last 3 years we have visit here the pool has been out of order. The hotel has an odor that I can’t describe. The room had an odor and was half clean and in my room the shower curtain had mold. The only thing that I can give kudos to is the complementary breakfast. It’s always decent and the staff are always nice. This is a yearly visit for my family and we all agree we will start staying somewhere else

Decent hotel for a reasonable price

This hotel is a decent place for the price. The hotel is clean, but does show it's age. There were picture hooks in the wall of our room with no pictures on them. The staff was very nice and everything in the room worked fine. The bed was just okay with sheets that didn't quite fit correctly. Good water pressure in the shower.

We arrived late, having booked online for a quick overnight stay on a road trip to unwind and take a swim. Disappointed when we got there to find the elevator and pool were both out of commission. I had an injured foot so stairs weren’t ideal (we were offered a handicap accessible room, but did not feel that was necessary to take from someone else who may need it more). Went up the stairs to our room, open the door and there is a large stain across the floor and up onto the bedding. We immediately called the front desk and he was very accommodating in moving us to another room right away, which was clean and worked well for us. Generally in our travels we have found Country Inn and Suites to be more reliable than this experience.

It was a very well maintained property. When I checked in I was told that a $50.00 charge for “incidentals” was added to my credit card. When I checked out, I looked at my receipt and there was nothing on there that said I paid $50.00. I asked the lady that checked me out and she was clueless- she spoke very little English and couldn’t understand what I was talking about. So as it stands now I don’t know if I have been charged $50.00 at a place that has nothing to buy. What a scam!

We booked this hotel because there was a pool. It turns out the pool wasn't open and the elevator wasn't working so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. I am sick of hotels that advertise amenities and then don't have them. It is easy to put a mention that facilities are out of order. We travel between Florida and Canada frequently and will be avoiding the Country Inn and Suites brand.

Was a place to sleep.

It was a place to sleep. The room was OK on cleanliness, but it seems they didn't bother with the bathroom other than to put clean towels in it. The sink didn't drain, there was block hair all around and a hanger on the shower bar. The Tub looked dirty..
And there is No Applebetne t door as listed in the site. I was told it closed over 1 year ago.
