It was a quick overnight on way home with our dog. The simple answer is we lijed it well enough on the way south thst we rebooked it for our way home. Room was very vlean, veds comfortable and the outdoir access was perfect for getting in and out with gear and pet. Great value and location. Plenty of places to eat and shop if need be. Staff very friendly but you're in the south so no surprise.

Room was clean and neat. We only needed a place to stay overnight and didn't want to pay a lot and this place met that need. Also, we traveled with two dogs and their pet fee is very reasonable. Some hotels charge a lot and we only paid $15.00 a dog. Breakfast was the usual you would expect but the hostess there was so friendly and made you feel welcome. Definitely would stay there again.

We chose this hotel because it has a 7.2 rating, but in reality it’s more like a 6. The room had a musty smell and the tub had some black mold near the grout. The hotel is old and not super clean nor fresh. We only stayed one night so it was acceptable for just sleeping and leaving, but we will not return.

The lady helping with breakfast brightened up our morning after dealing with bugs, a disgusting smell of cigarettes, dirty furniture, damp bedsheets,& weirdly stained blankets.. From now on people should be welcome to see the room before handing over any money. If it wasnt for me being exhausted from my drive i would have demanded to get refunded. Please check your room before deciding to stay here.

Yall should really look into a new air conditioning/ exhaust system because why does the bed feel damp from the air conditioner being on while we were not in the room. It was very uncomfortable to say the least. That really took away from the room. It was actually decent other than the OLD carpet.

I will never stay here again! We had to change rooms 3 times due to the cleanliness of the rooms. If it wasnt so late we would have checked out and went to another place. When letting the front desk know about the rooms I was meet with anger and hostility. My kids couldnt even swim in the pool because it was so dirty. NEVER AGAIN!

I’m not one to complain but the room was filthy. Bathroom was dirty and the floor was wet with a puddle. Toilet was dirty inside and on the outside had stains. The bath mat was black molded and dirty. The tub held water when we showered it did not drain. The bathroom door did not close. The towels were all damp as was everything in the room. The so called clean washcloth rolled up on the sink had a dead bug inside. The sheets were stained and ripped. The smoke detector on the ceiling was covered with a plastic bag, the lamp was missing a bulb so we couldn’t use it. The chair had a big wet looking stain on it. The ac unit was loud and was all wet. It ran non stop and made the room feel wet and smelled very moldy. The pool was cloudy that you couldn’t even see the bottom and looked like an oil slick on top. When we got there at night there were people sitting on the steps in the back yelling and drinking. There were several ashtrays around the outside all full and with beer cans in them.
Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here!

It was a decent stay but obviously the room had not been used recently because there were dead bugs on the floor and in corners. Very low water pressure in the sink but shower was fine. Ok for the discounted price I received from Expedia but not worth the $100+ price advertised by hotel. Not a lot of guest but yet i was not able to arrange for a late checkout of noon.

The entire room was saturated with moisture. Sheets, towels, carpet, hard flooring, desk, chairs & walls were all covered in moisture. We drove 12 hours and checked in at 11pm, and didn’t have the heart to bother the front desk worker - so we slept on the damp sheets. In the middle of the night a cockroach crawled across my arm.

We like camping, and often tent. I’ve had less bugs in my tent than I saw in this room.

This may have been a one room isolated issue, but it was truly awful.

The check-in and breakfast area was clean and updated. The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly. The room was outdated. There had been repairs to the bathroom wall that looked awful. The room was clean except the streaks on the mirror. The air conditioner was very noisy. When we arrived we had reserved a room for four, there were only three sets of towels. When I went down to get towels I asked for additional shampoo and I was told they didn’t have any. They had lotion and conditioner but no shampoo. I would not recommend or stay there again.

My go-to overnight stop

I stay at this hotel once a year while traveling north. It's always clean and comfortable and the front desk woman was fast and efficient, as always. I tested a lot of other hotels, that were disgusting, before finding this one. I only need a place to sleep and then shower in the morning. I don't need extra amenities. This hotel is perfect for my needs.

It was great for our stop on the way to Charleston from Pennsylvania. The heat in the room wasn't working properly, it was set at 67, but kept running and was probably about 80. But the staff was very friendly, the breakfast area was clean and the beds were comfortable. All around a pleased with our quick stop!

Found a beer cap and a plastic accessory on the floor/carpet so I'm really not sure if the room was vacuumed after last guest. Rooms are only accessible from the outside, there is no indoor corridor. The rooms are very average, there is an outdoor pool. The price was economical at $130 tax including for 1 night stay.

Although this Best Western is a Motel style, the room was quiet, clean and the beds at the Best Westerns we've stayed at are very comfortable. Breakfast area was kept clean and stocked. Not a fancy breakfast but hot and enough choices to get you fed and on your way. Front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. Easy on and off highway.
