Unfortunately, the site was in the middle of a building site which meant we could not open the windows which was not great as the hotel also didn't have AC - had we known this before booking we would not have chosen this hotel.
Parking was safe and secure, location was great - easy to walk to restaurants the town
Bar service was slow and unfriendly
We chose not to eat in the restaurant due to lack of vegan/vegetarian options
We ate breakfast in the restaurant but again lack of choice for vegans

Hotel itself is lovely, in particular the rooms, gym and pool. Breakfast is excellent. The area around the hotel is new (it’s being aimed at the very wealthy so is high-end, but a bit soulless) and there is a lot of construction going on, which woke me early each day. The hotel is handy for the train station (5 min walk) but is not in the centre of Andermatt village, which is a further 5-10 minute walk past the train station.

This was our last night in Switzerland after our engagement, and the staff (lady) checking us in at the front desk was very cold and unwelcoming. We were looking forward to having a spectacular and relaxing end at this hotel in one of our favorite towns in the country, in which we also had heard great reviews of… But the entire time, felt quite the opposite.

Great hotel super easy parking for even with a large SUV. The facilities are excellent great pool and sauna. The breakfast was first rate. We stayed one night but this would be a great base for a ski holiday.

The hotel is situated in a new development although we didn’t notice any noise from construction. There were three or four dining options on the doorstep but we chose to walk the ten minutes into the old town where there were a dozen or more places to choose from.

Very nice but please read for necessary info.

I liked this hotel but wish I had known some things prior to booking .

1. It is just outside of Andermatt. To get to the historic area you have to drive. They do not have a shuttle.

2. It is in middle of a construction zone, there is some noise, the signage is terrible, it is confusing trying to find the parking lot.

3. The entry into the Raddison part of the parking requires a tight right hand turn. Larger vehicles may have trouble.

4. The rooms are lovely and spacious. It should be noted that in Switzerland, hotels are not allowed to have AC ( at least thats what they told us at this hotel) . The bathroom is nice, for the life of me I will never understand why they make bathrooms with a glass part of the wall. Awkward if staying with friends.

5. They had a very nice breakfast buffet that was included in our room rate.

The hotel is brand new and very nice. The breakfast is also very good. The area is ok but there are much more beautiful places in Switzerland than Andermatt.

What really disappointed me though was that I had to pay for car parking and I won’t stay at this hotel again because of it. It’s a matter of principle. It’s ridiculous.

A sportive weekend

It is a very convenient and nice hotel, good for sports if you want to bike hike or other activities. Everything is available nearby.
The breakfast was good with many options, dinner was disappointing.
The swimming pool and its area is nice for swimming but less for being spoiled and also the fact that the sauna was FKK was strange and not convenient.
I am recommending this hotel for a sport weekend and less for a romantic getaway.

Beautiful hotel in Andermatt. Loved the pool with mountain views! Breakfast buffet was nice too. We did have hiccup where they were supposed to pick us up from the train station and they never showed up (and I had written confirmation), so beware about that. There is a lot of construction happening around the hotel so getting there on foot with luggage was a bit of a struggle. The front desk was very apologetic and gave us drink vouchers as an apology, which was a nice gesture.

Property itself was nice and new. Room was low on amenities (in room coffee not refilled for the next day, bedding was not provided for the second bed even when it was obvious that it was being used). Area around hotel had significant construction going on. There was no hotel parking left when we arrived because there was a concert happening at or near the hotel. Overall it was totally fine, but we felt like we paid plenty for the room at ~$550 a night and it just wasn't quite up to the service standard we have come to expect from a premium hotel. The ski lockers were incredible, and it is very convenient to the gondola!

The hotel staff was very kind. The hotel was clean and had a fabulous pool. We were given excellent restaurant recommendations. We ended up walking to Pinte, a fabulous pub with excellent hamburgers. If you take the train, just be careful on the google maps as to how to get to the hotel. It gave us the wrong directions and took us a very long way around. In the train station, when you walk down under the station, there is a sign to point you in the right direction. I would definitely stay here again.

Easy walk from the rail station, and quick easy check-in. Full modern amenities throughout the hotel, with very pleasant design and stunning LED lighting in common areas. Room was excellent, comfortable, with a wonderful rain-type shower. Staff were discreet but friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a la carte offerings and very large buffet offering. Location is in a new development with new shops & eateries being added - safe feeling around the hotel. We were extremely pleased with our stay here.

A very nice and luxurious hotel with an excellent pool and relax area, with a very nice and friendly serviced restaurant. The accommodations in the rented apartments are suffering from some logistical issues, perhaps due to some of the staff´s relative inexperience, eg the room service did not always respond on time, and with limited menus, the day-to-day supply of household equipment varied, eg no cleaning paper, no re-stocking of coffee etc. We had to wait more than 2 days for a complete re-setup of the Chromecast service of the living room television – as it did not accept Apple devices, a problem which was noted already last year, and I would highly recommend management to find a permanent solution to this. However, overall, a very pleasant stay and we look forward to coming back.

Could do betters: no hotel name or logo at all on hotel, completely anonymous: most unhelpful in finding the hoteleven when close. Room became very hot 26°. Reception advised that nothing could be done except open the window!! External temp 1° - not good.
No battery in scales - i wonder if hotels ever check ? Maybe better not to provide scales?

Totally exceeded our expectations

I don't usually do these reviews but this hotel deserves it. It is classed as a 4* establishment but it is much much better than many 5* hotels that I have stayed in. The gym isn't a fitness room as described, it is a proper gym and the pool is fantastic. Everywhere is clean, spotless and new. The service was exceptional and everything was wonderful and I would 100% recommend.

It was the worst if all chain Radisson BluI used before . It is more like a 3 * hitel. Particularly stuff was not nice and nit competent. I had a building dude out of my room. At7.30 am the building noise started. Nothing was mentioned about it when I made my booking. For dinner all clients were stuck in one small compartment of the big Redtaurant. It was crumbled, noisy. Real hell. Will never go there again!

Not as good as expected. The hotel itself is beautiful however set in an industrial area and it's a 10mns walk into Andermatt village. Service and cleanliness is top. What was VERY disappointing is the information that we received upon check-in: Parking is 20CHF (most big hotels nowadays have self parking free of charge!) - they could at least wave the parking fee if you have dinner at their expensive restaurant and because of the COVID-19 situation, access to the SPA area is limited to 1 hour per person - you should pre-book your preferred slot upon arrival... the problem is that if you arrive after 2pm (check in is at 3pm) most of the slots are taken and you find yourself with no SPA time. Fortunately we arrived at noon BUT the available slots for the afternoon had not been loaded yet and so we were told that they would be ready for booking from 3pm onwards. Around 2:30pm I decided to check how the system was working and saw that ALL the afternoon slots had already been released and only the 6pm slot was left... !! which didn't give us much time to get prepared for the dinner which we had pre-booked at 7:45pm. I specifically booked this hotel to be able to get some quality relaxation time at the SPA... that unfortunately didn't happen... there are only 2 saunas and a steam room... and 30 people were allowed per 1 hour slot, as you can imagine that's a lot of people queuing at the sauna & steam room doors. The lounge beds are set by the very noisy big indoor pool :-/

Everyone was helpful, polite, kind and very attentive. They made us very comfortable from start to finish, my husbands’ 50th and champagne toast for breakfast and small cake was so wonderful, compliments from the hotel. The level of service was excellent and the smiling face was the icing on the cake. Radisson Hotels are known for excellent service so it didn’t disappoint us at Andermatt. Quality-time with the family at Andermatt Radisson

Me and my 2 boys enjoyed the family apartment at the Radisson Blu in Andermatt. Hotel and room were very nice and clean. The interior is super stylish (alpine chic) and cozy. The bathroom features an awesome rain-shower. Gym and spa are well equipped, spacious and clean. The pool is huge with a great view. Water temperature is fine for swimming but too cold for the embedded whirlpool. Breakfast buffet is great and the staff is very professional and friendly. The hotel restaurant is very good too. The hotel is very close to the train station and the gondola to Gütsch is just across the street. Andermatt city center is a bit remote though. Overall a very pleasant experience. We will be back!

As a new property, most of the hotel was in excellent physical condition, but there were numerous guest-related issues. The parking area under the hotel was disjointed, confusing, and poorly signed. One elevator directs you to the -2 level level for parking...but the elevator doesn't serve that level. We had a veggie burger (which was not a veggie burger) and a club sandwich which used lunch-box white bread and was tasteless. Hopefully, hotel management will address and correct needed service improvements.

Wonderful new property. The Spa including the Sauna and steam room are perfect after a long day. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. It is exactly what we needed to get our day started. The assortment of food and options was spectular. You do pay slightly a premium to stay at this location compared to other hotels in the town but it was well worth it. We had a wonderful trip and we will stay there again when we visit again.

Etwas schade, man fühlt sich hier oft mehr abgefertigt, als willkommen. Auch als Stammgast, Der schon seit Jahren seinen Geburtstag hier verbringt. Weder beim Check in noch beim abreisen ist das aufgefallen… Das geht definitiv besser.
Wellness war wieder belagert von Chaoten:innen, welche die Anleitung fürs Wellness nicht lesen können oder ignorieren. Zwar wurde eine Gruppe vom Personal kurz zurechtgewiesen, aber von Entspannung keine Spur.
Tücher sollten im Saunabereich aufliegen und nicht umständlich am Empfang abgeholt werden müssen, wenn Es mal feuchtgeschwitzt ist.
Öffnungszeit vom Wellness nur (noch) bis 8 Uhr am Abend, könnte locker auf 9 oder 10 Uhr verlängert werden, dann wäre auch nicht so ein Gedränge.
Wäre schön gewesen, wenn das offerierte Wasserfläschli im Zimmer am Tag ersetzt worden wäre…
Ansonsten eine Top Adresse in Andermatt, Ausstattung fabelhaft, Personal super freundlich, alles blitzsauber und Preis/Leistung einigermassen verkraftbar.
Werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen…
