The bad
1.On entering the room there was a strong cigarette smell over powering and unpleasant.
2.The 5 nights spent there not once was the room cleaned I can only presume you need to ask for room cleaning.
3.The hotel was on floors 6 and 7 the building was dirty with no security as the reception is on the ground level.
4.No safe in the room.
5.Small window that did not open
6.The main shower unit did not work only the hand held shower.

Everything is good, except some kind (minor, not too strkng)smoking smell in the room. There are a lot of cigarette butts in the stair way, i suspected people also smoked in the room. There are some stain on the carpet of the hallway. Overall, it is good.

Property looks a lot nicer in the photos than in person. The hotel room felt very large with awkward furniture, and the way the future was set up, it looked like a porno could have been filmed there. Was not thrilled about my stay. There were also tons of bugs in the room that both my friend and I saw in the bathroom, on the bed, and in the living area.

Roaches. Look, I know it’s an affordable hotel. And the free breakfast buffet is quite a sweet deal. I would have gladly accepted a dingy motel situation had it not been for me having to kill roaches (YOUNG ones, which means the nest is nearby) every night.

After I awoke the next morning (originally I booked out two weeks) and had to kill more roaches, I told the facility and they moved me to another room. Which had MORE ROACHES.

I finally called Expedia to push to get a refund for the rest of my stay here because I had to move to another place. Could not stand the roach situation any longer. This hotel doesn’t usually do refunds either, and getting Expedia on call with their admin was not easy (had to be on a call for two hours while out and about on my international trip, waiting for Expedia, their translator, and the hotel admin talked it out.

If you’re someone who can handle the grime, go for it. But the quality is reflected in the price (and at this rate you can frankly go for a hostel).

Buyer beware.

Big bed and comfort ok.but no windows and thats the problem, when you enter the room smells of old, maybe of food... Hotel rooms only located on the 6th and 7th floors only.
So the public stairs from 1st - till 7th are untidy... It is not a real hotel , although rooms are steal door, larger room and big toilet shower and a bath tub. Free wifi and free breakfast on the 2nd floor canteen. Good location and 711 store is just around the corner. I give a score of 2.5/5

太可怕了。宣傳的照片一定是十年前的，而且是十年的大量使用。

牆壁正在剝落。淋浴噴頭從牆上掉下來，垂在淋浴間裡。浴缸裡到處都是燒傷。馬桶壞了，漏水，整個浴室都散發著尿液和糞便的臭味。椅子上有香煙燙過的痕跡，而且浸透了我猜想是汗水和身體油脂的東西，摸起來很髒。只是在地板上走動，我的襪子就沾滿了黑色粘稠的污物。

酒店按小時出租房間（我通過 hotels.com 預訂時不知道這一點），所以你可以想像床單很噁心。染色，撕裂，充滿了長毛。

最糟糕的是老鼠！每晚大約晚上 11 點至凌晨 5 點，老鼠會在牆壁和天花板上爬行！就在你的頭邊，發出如此大的噪音以至於無法入睡。

如果可以的話，請不要留在這裡。

Horrendous. The photos advertised must be a decade old, and it was a decade of HEAVY use.

The walls are peeling. The shower head was broken off the wall and hanging down into the shower. The bathtub had burns everywhere in it. The toilet was broken and leaking making the whole bathroom reek of urine and feces. The chairs had cigarette burns in them and were soaked in what I assume is sweat and body oil, filthy to touch. Simply walking on the floor left my socks coated in black and sticky filth.

The hotel rents the rooms hourly (something I didn't know when I booked through hotels.com), so you can imagine the sheets are disgusting. Stained, ripped, filled with long hairs.

Worst of all is the RATS! Rats crawl in the walls and ceilings from approximately 11pm - 5am EVERY NIGHT! Right by your head, making so much noise it is impossible to sleep.

Please do not stay here if you can help it.

Convenient hotel in downtown Sanchong

Convenient hotel in bustling downtown Sanchong 10mn by walk from Taipei Bridge metro station. Near the hotel, there are two bus stops with buses going to central Taipei (can be faster than the metro) and other cities like Banqiao, Bali or Danshui (Tamsui). Spacious room with nice shower facilities (unfortunately, the shower is not separated so the bathroom gets wet with splashing water). Decent buffet breakfast.

Not even \"Just okay\" ...

Customer service was ok at first. Upon checking in the front desk person spoke ok English and was able to satisfy our needs. Upon arriving at our room it was nothing like what was represented on the Hotels website. I had booked a room with a queen size bed. What I got was two twin beds haphazardly shoved together with no mattress pad to disguise the ridge between. Very uncomfortable to put it mildly! In addition, they used two overlapping sets of twin comforters rather than a queen or king; this made it very hard for my fiance and I to cuddle. The shower was typical for Asia, conjoined with the whole of the bathroom; however, the floor would not drain and so after a shower the bathroom would be flooded for several hours. When we informed the front desk nothing was done. In part, this was because no one after our initial check in could speak any functional English. The hotel offered free breakfast, but never provided any breakfast foods. The entire menu at the buffet was weird lunch and dinner foods and the fruit juice provided was nothing more than diluted Kool-aid.
I love my visit to Taiwan, but will not be recommending the Walker Hotel.

Lots to nitpick but generally a more than decent place to stay. About 10 mins walk from Taipei Bridge station. The only major concern is definitely the security of the place. The way the building's designed anyone can come up to the rooms (7th and 8th floors) without any check. There's also a love hotel on the 5th floor which can comes off as shady on a whole.

There was a blackout/power shutdown on the entire level once and wished that the staff could be more proactive.

The hotel was very basic: bed, bathroom, towels. You get why you pay for. Bed was plastic feeling and got very hot/sweaty. There are no drawers to put away things, so you are living out of the suitcase. It was clean inside the hotel rooms, but not the hallways. Not to say it was all bad, again you get what you pay for and you can’t really beat the price for a place to stay in this part of Taipei. If you are on a tight budget this hotel will be fine.

IT'S BEEN A NIGHTMARE BUT I SURVIVED

To sum up my stay:
pros:
1. There's cigarette smell all over the place. While I reached out to the front desk about this they only offered to spray some odor eliminator all over the room for me, which only lasted for a few hours.
2. The entire building was shared by a restaurant, an arcade-like area, and another hotel -- you can imagine all the random people coming in or hanging out nearby. I don't feel safe near or inside the hotel; also the elevator is open to the outside so basically ANYONE can get in the building.
3. The furniture, interior, and facility is old and outdated.
4. There is only one Taipei metro station nearby and the location is a bit outside of the city.
5. Even though they offer free breakfast, I decided to eat elsewhere after the first morning because the dining room smells like sewer and the food taste like food waste.
6. The bed is put together with two separate mattresses so if you lay in the middle you can feel discomfort at where the mattresses joined. I'd rather have a smaller bed than this. Definitely a terrible design.
7. There is no divider between the shower and the rest of the bathroom -- having the entire bathroom to stay wet after a shower is very annoying.
8. Bad soundproofing.
9. The place needs a deep cleaning; I could see yellow stain buildup near the bottom of the bathroom wall -- very disgusting.

cons:
1. It's right next to a 7-11.
2. The Taipei metro is within walking distance.
3. Spacious room and huge bed.

Clean and nice hotel

The hotel is easy to locate, friendly staff, near to convenient stores and bus stop. Walking distance to metro taipei station. Easy check in and check out. Its just that the lobby or corridor going to our room is not lighted well. Breakfast served was good and lots of variety.

A bit far from the MRT; walking with our suitcases took about 15 minutes, especially as some of the roads were chaotic and narrow.
Room and bathroom were clean enough but very basic. No windows. Air conditioning a bit too cold. Beds were comfortable though and everything was in working condition.
Breakfast options were mostly Asian style, plenty of cooked hot foods like rice, noodles, porridge, vegetables and meats. However the Western option was incredibly dismal and the coffee and juices were awful.
Staff were friendly and polite enough, BUT they had a problem getting housekeeping to clean our room on time. We requested housekeeping at 7+am in the morning before our daytrip and when we returned at 8pm in dire need of a hot shower and clean sheets, our room was not made. We were not happy about that.
No problems with check in and check out.

My personal opinion: Felt that the hotel is situated inside an abandon building. The hotel lobby is at Ground floor, restaurant at 2nd floor, rooms at 6th and 7th floor. There is no security to each floor; anyone can access the lift. The room space is huge but the bed sheets are slightly dirty. Breakfast starts at 6.30 am and it is advisable to take breakfast before 7.30 am as the foods are non refillable.

I booked for ten days stay. After the sixth day, they forgot to clean the room. On the seventh day morning informed the front desk to get my room clean. They again forgot to clean the room. On the eighth day reminded them again. So only two days the room was not cleaned and top up with bottled water.
Overall, friendly and helpful staff when you required information.
Breakfast are the usual bread,butter,jam and peanut butter, coffee or tea. Rest are typical Chinese breakfast. I only had three breakfast there, the balance of my stay, I ate out.
Only four hangers on the wall.
No writing or laptop table, only a small plastic children table.
Bed is comfortable.

古いのは仕方ないですが、せめて壁紙の貼り替えをした方が良いと思います。
掃除も微妙ですね。埃が壁についていましたし、カビの臭いが気になりました。
それと壁か扉が薄いせいで他の部屋の声がかなり聞こえます。若い子が夜中でも騒いでいるのが聞こえました。
バスタオルしかなくて、しかも結構古い感じがしました。

男一人4泊で利用しました。
他の口コミを見る限り部屋によって当たり外れのあるホテルのようでしたが、気にならないぐらいの部屋でした。
確かに設備は老朽化が進んでおり汚れも目立ちますが寝るだけとしては十分な部屋です。
シャワーは温水出すまでに10分くらいは出しっぱなしにする必要がありますが、水圧とかも満足できました。
朝食は無料で2階で食べられてセルフビュッフェスタイルでパン、米両方が選べておかずも多くて良かったです。
かなり安かったですし三重付近による際はまた利用する候補として考えたいです。

I think it’s a good hotel if you don’t expect too much. The shower water pressure is low, and some towels have stubborn stains because the hotel does its own laundry.
However, the bed, air conditioning, and lights are fine, and I have no complaints about them. Plus, having breakfast included is a nice benefit.

Ho avuto un'esperienza estremamente deludente presso questo hotel. La pulizia e la manutenzione lascia molto a desiderare: la mia camera, pur essendo per non fumatori, era invasa da un forte odore di fumo e presentava macchie sul pavimento. Inoltre, la hall è separata dalla struttura principale, dando una sensazione di insicurezza, poiché chiunque può accedervi senza alcun controllo. Sconsiglio vivamente questo hotel!

口コミを見て色々不安でしたがとても中は綺麗でした！全然虫もおらず、快適に過ごせました。お水もあります。1階でチェックインしてカードキーを貰います。エレベーターに乗った際にそのカードキーをタッチするところがあるので、タッチすると宿泊施設のある6.7階のボタンが反応するようになります。最初分からなくて一瞬困ったので、ぜひこのクチコミを見て困る人が少しでも少なくなればと思います。

無料の朝ごはんは、メニューは少ないものの、味は普通でした。部屋はリフォームしているけれども、中途半端な感じで惜しい感じ。
受付は感じがいい。
廊下にはリフォーム用品が置いてある。
15時チェックイン、時間が早く到着した人には荷物を預かってもらえます。
アメニティーはある、パジャマはない。スリッパが履きにくいのでビーサンを持っていくと良い。
有線ののWi-Fiと無線Wi-Fiの部屋があるので、注意が必要です。水は部屋にあります。連泊の清掃は、毎日フロントに言えばやってもらえます。
観光でホテルは寝るだけの人には最適だと思います。

台北橋駅から徒歩７~８分で許容範囲。周辺は飲食店や各種の商店が立ち並ぶ繁華街でコンビニも近くにあり便利。新北市での宿泊は初めてであるが川向うが台北市なので隔たりは感じない。ホテルは雑居ビルにあり１階にフロントがあるが居室は７階で朝食会場は２Fとなる。古いビルであるが居室部はそこそこの清潔感が保たれている。コロナ後に台北でのホテル料金が３~４割は上がった様に感じるがコロナ前で現価格の７割程度の価格帯のホテルランクと考えれば良い。一人旅には丁度良い設備状況、価格帯のホテルだと思う。因みに朝食は３~４品のおかずとパン、粥、飲み物で取り敢えず食べられるといった程度。旅では外食中心なので問題ない。

喫煙所エリアには灰皿が無くただ2つイスが置かれていてそこでみんな喫煙しています
吸殻はポイ捨て…
今回ファミリータイプの部屋に泊まらせて貰いましたがベッド2つがとにかくデカい‼️
クチコミには、ゴキブリが出ると書いてありましたのでゴキブリホイホイとブラックキャップを準備して部屋に設置しましたが出ませんでした

自分は、気にならないのですが国外旅行初めての友達は改めて日本が素晴らしいのか分かったようです。

Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf Anfrage wurde das Zimmer ordentlich geputzt. Einziges Manko war, dass das Bad ungünstig konstruiert wurde, sodass das Wasser nach dem Duschen nur sehr langsam abgelaufen ist.

街中にあって三重駅と台北駅のちょうど中間くらいの位置でした。どちらへも徒歩約3キロギリギリ歩けるよ。真下にセブンイレブンもあって、このお値段ならいいと思います。シャワーとトイレは日本人なら成否別れるかなと思いました

房間都很好

房間很好我加了一百元升級了浴缸，不滿意的地方其實跟飯店也沒什麼關係，就是飯店的特約停車場，環境實在太可怕了，在飯店的地下層，可能附近有做吃的，氣味很惡臭，也充滿很多的碩鼠，很肥很大不怕人希望飯店可以出面處理掉但飯店裡一切都很好除了隔音不太好以外我可以給90分的舒適評價

スタッフさんも親切でした。駅まで歩いてそんなに遠くないので、ホテル出てすぐ食べ物屋さんがありましたが食べに行かなかったけど便利そう。値段が安いので利用しました。

部屋の中に置いていたバッグが少しベタベタしていて気になりました。
ただ、施設周辺が便利なので、この値段なら満足です。

捷運附近，適合我家會搭不了車的小孩，很近三和夜市，方便，浴缸很大，一家三口可同浸浴，但設施比較舊，地上塵較多，要浸浴的，一定要帶清潔劑和1次性的浸浴套，因為浸浴缸的污跡有啲多，剛到的時候有點失望，但住落了還滿意，因為房間大，洗手間大，沒有異味，就是第1天到自己有消毒一下就可以，接待員有禮，謝謝照顧

這是一家商旅，建議家庭式旅客慎選。

地利上比較一般，捷運距離較遠，要前往熱門的旅遊地點時，在轉車上會花了不少時間，附近的食店選擇不多，需要往三和夜市或後面的市集才有較多選擇。

房間大小不錯，但隔間不佳，部份房間沒有窗，有些房間則是只有廁所才有窗，基本設施齊全，但要垢病的是廁所經常淤塞……另外，建議不要為節省成本而僅提供四隻紙杯作漱口和飲水之用，使用膠杯或多給兩個紙杯作後備較好（紙杯會軟化，每次用完便要問服務台去拿就有點麻煩）。

房間清潔

四年前曾經來此住宿,當時的印象與感覺很好,但是這次入住坦白說有些失望,除了房間內的整潔度,濕氣煤氣煙味,以及衛浴的清潔真的與過往記憶有很大落差~真誠希望旅館方能正視這些基本軟硬體設施的問題~

治安にやや不安あるも、客室はまずまず

客室内は特に問題ないですが、部屋に至るまでの階段周辺が女性客としては、不安を感じました。
エレベーターの使用や客室のオートロックの利用方法について、フロントでのメッセージがあるとよかったです。
（階上に行くにはカードキーのタッチが必要なエレベーターであること、ドアロックの際はドアノブを上にあげておかないとロックが効かないことなど）

朝食会場の宿泊者チェックがなく、他の人間も入れそうなのが気になりました。

シャンプー、ボディソープのホルダーが空で要求をする必要がありましたが、依頼後はすぐに対応してもらえました。
本来なら部屋提供の時点でチェックすべきだと思います。

Good base for street food hunting

There are plenty of food stalls in any direction you go.
In morning and night markets, you can find just about every kind of food you see in a guide book.
I had a room with a broken shampoo dispenser and a refrigerator that didn't work, but I had only to tell them the situation when I went out: everything was solved when I came back a half day later!
It may not be for everyone, but it was more than good enough for my trip.
