Front desk worker had to have been the most mean, disrespectful man I have ever encountered.

Threw my id at me when I asked why there was an undisclosed “cash only” deposit and was mad at me when I asked how I could see about a refund as I didn’t have the amount needed for the deposit and he was refusing to check me in.

Absolutely flabbergasted at how I was treated. Wouldn’t have wanted to keep my stay there anyways with how he was presenting himself

The security lock on the door was broken, turned on TV had a picture turned off to go out to eat but when we returned NO picture but sound. Was told having issues with cable?.. Where you hang your clothes on was coming out of the wall. No clock in room, no kleenex box, the outlets on the lamp was loose for my charging box for my cell phones. You could take a shower and a bath at the same time (drain was very slow)

The shower has great water pressure, the bed was comfortable. Other than that, it was a joke. No USB outlets for charging, Only 2 110 outlets on a single lamp base. No internal access to rooms. Advertised Continental breakfast. No bread, bagels, English muffins or waffles. 2 choices of cereal. I will never stay here again

The breakfast included in the stay was a joke. They had 2 kinds of cereal and a couple of prepackaged muffins(not 2 kinds, 2 muffins). It was evident that the juice machine had been broken a while. They had a jug of milk and Sunny D. So if you are looking for. A place that includes breakfast, and this isn't what you want, I'd tell you are better off laying a little more and getting a real breakfast.
The room was \"clean\" however the decor is really old, some outlets didn't work, and the (non-smoking) room smelled like someone had chain smoked in it.
When we asked for more pillows at the front desk, the clerk acted like he didn't know where to find them.

Staff was very nice. Check in was quick and efficient. Really appreciated the ease of being able to have a pet. The room itself had some issues. The carpets had a ton of stains, the room had a smell to it, the blankets had holes in them, and there was no top lock to the door. AC worked great.

Last year we stayed and they were remodeling but it looks like an unmodeling as it is much worse. Broken tv, no towels, no toilet paper. I had to drive down to get two small hand towels for a shower and the toilet paper myself. Please help them.

This place was horrible. The shower did not work and when I asked the person in charge about it he didn't care. He told me that I can go use someone else's room for their shower. Really? There is a reason why this place is so cheap. No thank you, I would rather pay extra and have great service and a clean establishment.

The staff was rude. Hotels charged me for my room. My mom arrived before I did, and the hotel charged her for my room. So, we were double-charged for one room. The hotel would not give us a receipt. They were rude when I brought it to their attention. They told me to take it up with Hotels.com, and to print my receipt from there. Of course, I cant get anywhere with Hotels.com either. I do not recommend this hotel.

The room was fine, clean and serviceable.
To check in you need to call or ring a bell, even in early evening, you can't get into the Lobby. Check in is pretty quick. Sadly if you are in a room that faces the street, you are going to get a lot of noise.
Breakfast was less than good. Again you need to ring the bell or call to get in. At 0730, it wasn't set up, coffee was done, not that good, and just cereal.
It was convenient to my travel plans and certainly not the worst for the money.

The tub had hair in it and the shower curtain was dirty. Microwave was dirty. Room was noisy right on the corner. Obviously it is a bad neighborhood as the front desk entry door was locked when we arrived at 7pm and locked when we went at 700am to turn in keys. So wishing we had picked differently.

While the hotel itself was ok for the price, the towels were horribly rough, there was no coffee maker, but worst of all, at 5:15 am before light, some young men were trying to kick my door in and laughing . I waited until light and went to tell the manager and he could have cared less. Very scary.

I was not expecting this to be a motel, I should have read the description better- but for the price, I was expecting a hotel.
We arrived at 10:30pm and had to check in thru a window in the entryway (like I was in a sketchy gas station in an inner city).
Upon entering the room my daughter detected an odor, but I was hopeful our stay would turn pleasant, as the room had been redecorated and looked nice. Unfortunately the bathroom was not nice. Although it looked as clean as a motel bathroom can be, it smelled awful of mildew- there was no ventilation! There was an old vent/fan in the wall, but it was not hooked up to any switch. I could not even make myself shower here. We came, we slept, and we checked out as soon as we awoke the next morning.

This property was disappointing to say the least. Room was in a state of disrepair - but at least the A/C and TV worked. Beds were average, but the rest of the room was gross. The “guest laundry” machines were broken, ice machine inoperable, no coffee anywhere that I could find. Would not stay here again, nor any other Ameristay property.

My wife and I had a great experience at Ameristay Inn. Check in was fast. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was perfect..cereal, fruit, muffins, juice, milk, and coffee. Pet Friendly. A/C works great. Right by the highway. Gas stations and places to eat close by. We will stay again.

Our experience at Ameristay Inn has been great! We needed a place to go qhile we waited for our place to ve ready. Check In was easy and fast. The owner was super friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The parking lot is clean. Parking is right outside your door. They have a breakfast of ceral, fruit, muffins, coffee, milk.. Housekeeping is very accommodating. There are gas stations and food places close. It sits right by the highway so easy access for travelers. It's quiet at night. The beds are comfortable. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay hwre again. This hotel is a 10 out of 10.

We didn’t find any bed bugs, so that’s a plus. Room seemed clean but sheets had a few stains and a few rips. Most disappointing part was the “breakfast” had nothing but stale packaged muffins, overripe bananas, cereal but no milk, and chunky floaties in the apple juice and orange juice, like the dispenser machine needed cleaned. Nasty.

Everything I needed was all there!

It was a great size room for my few days stay. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I forgot to pack a few things to get ready for the day and they were more than helpful to let me use some of their items. If I ever come through town again I will be staying here. It didn't bode well when staff would only interact with me through a teller window and lobby was kept locked (at ~4p).
The room was sad: filthy (dirt caked, burn marks) arm chair, signs of (hopefully past) bedbugs on the mattresses, severely water damaged TV stand, and the Toiletries appeared used.
The dead bolt was broken off. All the motel notices urge you strongly to keep the deadbolt latched and to leave no valuables in the car.
Even on the side furthest from the interstate it's very loud.
Ended up eating the cost and staying elsewhere.

Had to pay extra for my husband when we rented a double room that sleeps 4 people but our reservation was only for one person when I booked with hotel.com. The room was not clean walls looked like they had stuff smeared on them. The bathroom had black mold growing in it. The bathroom door had duck tape holding it together and couldn’t even shut the door all the way. None of the electrical outlets worked properly the one by the tv had a short in it and wouldn’t stay connected. This is definitely a pay by the hour hotel would not recommend staying here again

The room seemed clean enough, what we could see. The lighting was so very dim; it was still dark in there with the lamps on. The lock on the door was broken where someone from the outside had tried to break in on someone. It left us feeling unsafe. We had an issue with our billing, but we had screenshots, so the attendant didn't make us pay again. There was no warm breakfast items. Toast, cereal, and some packaged mini muffins. The milk was in a carafe; we didn't know how old it was. One washcloth for the two of us. Don't go to this motel.

This was a very poorly maintained property. For a handicapped room, which was not what I needed, just the only king bed room they had. They did a fair job of cleaning. The bath tub drained slow, & hair came up out of it when we turned the water on. We should have left when we checked in, but we had been on the road all day.

Don't stay here. From bugs in the bed (not bed bugs, but bugs none the less), towels in the bathroom that look used, being propositioned by another guest, and a broken security latch on the door I opted to not stay the night. I don’t want to discount the kind lady the front desk, but this hotel was not worth the $170 plus taxes. We had so many bugs in our room, hair in the sink and shower, and only one of the four lamps worked (no overhead lighting either). It was a place to sleep, but wouldn’t stay here again.

This place should not be listed as a hotel. Strictly a motel and should charge far less. Problems with security - broken door lock latch; cleanliness - an easychair that should not be in room but in a bonfire; comfort - paper thin sandpaper towels that surely were used by Abe Lincoln and facility - shower regulator that was to fall off. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Wow the 1990's

Hotel is way out of date - it felt like the 1990's, or they've not recovered from Covid. No amenities; clock, coffee maker, microwave. Carpet and chair were dirty. Shower barely functioned. Would not stay here again.
