Staff and public areas were nice. The room was clean but needed work, edges viewable through the mirror of the unpainted door casing, Toilet paper holder was moved and the previous location had a piece of sheetrock plugging the hole being held in place by 2 screws, caulk around the soap holder in the shower was done by a 5 year old, no way keeping water from getting behind the wall, decorative kleenex box cover was just that , a cover no kleenex. amenities: the bathroom sink was the size of a dog dish, the toilet was made for pre-schoolers (barely 10 inches high) the shower trunk needs a claw hammer to pry the button up or bang it down to switch from bath to shower and the shower head made it so I nearly had to get on my knees to rinse the soap out of my hair. They are minor inconveniences that won't stop me from staying again.

Check-in staff was very friendly and welcoming. Even late at night, the two gentlemen working were kind and professional, I even brought cake down to share with them for my daughter’s birthday, and the interaction was genuinely pleasant.

During our stay, there were a few issues I chose not to complain about, including stains on the pull-out mattress, decorative pillows that were not properly assembled, and a TV in the bedroom that I had nothing on it no Guide shows movies nothing for my son. and when I checked in the Wi-Fi information didn’t work, but None of these were reported because they were not a major concern at the time and we still enjoyed the evening.

Unfortunately, the experience changed after checkout. Despite leaving the room clean and organized (trash bagged and tied, decorations cleaned up, balloons popped and disposed of), multiple attempts were made to charge my card for alleged damages. When I called to ask about this, I was told the room was “trashed,” which was absolutely not accurate. I requested to see the photos that were referenced, but they were never provided. I was then told not to worry because the charges didn’t go through, yet my bank continued sending alerts for attempted charges afterward.

It’s disappointing that an otherwise nice stay ended this way. The lack of transparency and repeated charge attempts were very concerning and overshadowed the positives.

My room was ok clean but heat had horrible sounds when turning on and off! Refrigerator in room was on but didn’t work! So the take out that we had was wasted because it wasn’t in a working refrigerator! Told the staff about it when we had to ask for an ice bucket that was supposed to be in the room and wasn’t and all they said is that’s not good that the refrigerator wasn’t working!

We lived in Palmyra for most of our lives and have always stayed there when visiting. We will NEVER stay there again. The bathtub had black mold in the corners. I can submit pictures if necessary. The lights would go dim then turn on bright in the middle of the night. There was no striker plate on the bathroom door, it couldn't be closed. The breakfast was terrible, no meat, no juice or fresh fruit. The waffle mix was frozen and couldn't be poured. We went to Mc Donald's for breakfast. Lastly, we spoke to someone else staying there who agreed with everything we said and recommended actual rooms not to stay in. Terrible place.

The hotel’s location was convenient and well-suited for our planned activities in the area.

While the overall condition of the property was generally acceptable, the cleanliness of our room—particularly the bathroom—was disappointing. It appeared that the room had not been deep-cleaned for quite some time. The shower walls had visible orange mildew that could be wiped away easily, and both the floors (carpet) and walls (and headboards) showed noticeable grime.

I would strongly encourage hotel management to take this feedback seriously and implement improvements to cleanliness standards, as this property is well-situated and has great potential given the number of guests it attracts.

This was the second time we’ve stay here in abou 12 years. It has improved to include a dining as where a descent breakfast is seven. H been refubished With upgrades.i checks n at 6:30 pm there was nobody at checking desk- had to wait 5 min or so for someone to greet me- t wa a woman that seemed very tired and not very enheused about her job- she HD several tattoos n he arms and neck which I feel loooks very unprofessional. The room es quiet and comfortable and the location was very convenient!

Marginally ok. Hotel was not that clean. Even though we asked for towels at the front desk to use the hot tub they didn’t tell us that the hot tub was not usable and was a cold tub.
Location is great, breakfast was ok, bed was decent but lots of issues with cleanliness of lobby and rooms.

Floors in the halls were dirty. The floor in our room was dirty (unvacuumed). The television didn't work, and the desk clerk said \"unplug it and then plug it back in.\" That didn't work either, so my wife mentioned it. He said, \"well, that's not uncommon since many guests plug in their video games.\" Not helpful at all. There was nothing to drink at the breakfast, and no one available to help.

Located a mile south of Palmyra makes it convenient to Erie Canal Bike Trail. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Nothing special about breakfast provided...cereal, eggs, waffles. For low budget, this is a comfortable stay.

The room had a couple of concerns about safety. The bar in the tub was really loose. The window did not seem to lock well. One of the locks was broken. The fire alarm woke use up 2 days in a row. It was really noisy hard to sleep.Booth of are room keys did not work well.

If you are in Palmyra to see the LDS historical sites, this is a great location. Close to everything. If you are not, it's just the opposite. There is nothing in walking distance. But the the city of Palmyra is only 8 minutes away.

The room we were put into had no working lights above the door area, kitchenette area, and the bathroom. Pretty much anything on a switch. Went to the front desk the guy checked the breakers and said they were all on. He would be down to check what was going on. 1 1/2 hours later gave up and went to bed. Upon checking out notified the attendent and she said oh the breakers weren’t flipped. She acted like it was a huge inconvenience for her to have to deal with it. For the money we had to pay for this room and not even have lights to go to the bathroom or shower is a little ridiculous. It’s a clean place but staff need better customer service and taught what to do when stuff doesn’t work.

Our room was clean and beds were comfortable although our bathroom walls were being fixed and still needed painting. I thought for the price of the room it should have been nicer. Arriving for breakfast at 7am (opening time), the first morning of our stay, the eggs and sausage were already cold. The next morning they were at least warm. Compared to other hotels we have stayed in, the breakfast foods should have been better and hot.

Check in seemed unreasonably long. After getting our room, we learned the phone and air conditioner were not working properly. After fixing those issues, we realized the tv did not work. They sent in a gentleman to fix and he could not. We were told someone would come to help. Help never came. We were never offered any compensation or another room at any time. I mentioned this at check out and at least thought I would get a call from manager to apologize and never heard back.

The only thing I didnt like was the breakfast, the juice machine was broken and there was no bottled OJ, the only fruit was apples. There were not fixings for a bagel breakfast sandwich. Very disappointing. I dont expect much in the way of the complimentary breakfast, but this did hit a very low set bar. The Staff was excelent, the grounds well kept and the room was clean and comfy.

The staff checking in me in wouldnt talk to me directly, kept talking to my party staying with me. Wouldnt fill me in on what I was signing off on, had to ask...Then gave me a half crap answer. Our key cards did not work when we came back to the hotel room. I went up to the front desk with the card I used to book and my photo ID...The lady working the desk told me she didn't need to see any of that and just asked me for what room number....COMPLETELY UNSAFE..I could have gotten a random persons room key SO EASILY!!!!!! Then we had a dirty used cutip when checking the cleanliness of the room. Right under neath the table by the sofa. The bathroom floor was dirty. The room was in no way swept either. The TV didn't work at all and was \"apparently known to front staff\". The only pleasant person I came across in our stay there was a lady working breakfast area.

Would not stay here again. Displeased with price spent and conditions of room.

Hello,
I'm writing to tell you about our stay on Saturday August 2nd.
First, when we entered the hotel it was very warm. I'm not sure if the A/C was not working or not on, but it was very warm throughout the common areas of the hotel. We were not able to use these areas due to this and had to eat our breakfast Sunday morning in our room. We felt bad for the older gentleman sweating as he checked in other patrons.
Secondly, the televisions throughout the hotel were not working. This was not told to us before we arrived, or we would have made other arrangements.
The ice machine on the floor of our room, the second floor, was not working.
There were no towels available in the hot tub area when we went to use it.
When I went to take a shower the products supplied were not shampoo and conditioner but conditioner and body lotion, which I did not realize until I was already in the shower, so I was unable to wash my hair.

The room was clean and the bed was luckily comfortable.

Overall it was not a very good stay. There was only one gentleman on staff at the desk throughout our stay and he consistently had a long line of people at the desk so speaking to him about any of these issues, even if he could have addressed them, was very inconvenient.

2 hours before arrival they called and said they had an emergency and instead of our 2 rooms, could we all fit in one room? We are 2 families with 4 adults and 2 older kids fitting into one, 2 queen room, for 2 nights? We said we didn’t think so. I believe the emergency was a bus full of teenagers that had arrived. The TV didn’t work at all the 2 days we were there, the washing machine was out of order, the metal rail in the tub was pulling away from the wall showing the anchor screws, broken tissue holder and broken particle board below the refrigerator. First breakfast was a mess. Only sausage and one goopy waffle maker, cereal on the floor, milk spilled on the counter, bagel cut and just left on the counter, no forks and no hotel person around to ask for forks. To be fair, the bus of teenagers had gone to breakfast before us and things were a mess. I was surprised they didn’t have a staff member in the eating area. The waffle, however was tasty! The second morning breakfast was much nicer. Not a great hotel stay.

Did not like the fact that the AC was not working in the lobby and the eating area. Our first room the AC was not cooling but when I called the lobby the receptionist moved us to a room just a few doors. this room was alot better the AC worked.
Their breakfast was good but not much of a selection but there was plenty though, you did have to wait since they had quite a few guests.
It was a good location for us to do our site seeing we had plan for the two days.
The laudry machines washer and dryer were okay but they charge you more that what was noted on them. We then had to deal by email with an outside source to get a refund for the overcharge because the hotel could not help us.

I booked the room with very little expectations, besides it being a place to sleep and get ready for a concert. When we arrived check in was quick and the staff was very friendly, the room was clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. The hotel was 20 mins from the venue and a very reasonable price. The location of this hotel in Palmyra can't be beat for touring historic sites; however, room 108 was not great. The room had a very musty/ damp smell - we bought and used a full bottle of Febreeze room spray in 2 days. The bathroom was not clean - a dead bug on the shower wall, brown spots that wiped away on the shower floor, a used flosser on the tile floor and other people hair all over (floor, shower, toilet). The toilet flush had to be held down until the tank drained for TP to flush down. The walls of the bathroom and room had stains. The TV semi- worked with lines and glitching out every few minutes. Breakfast was fine but as soon items were gone (yogurt, fruit...) there was no restocking. Beds were fine but pillows were small and lumpy. The inside of the hotel could use new lighting and a deep clean. I'd look elsewhere before booking here.
