We loved our stay! The staff is so friendly and kind and helpful. The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable, they have the best pillows. The AC runs COLD. Plenty of HOT water. The view from the rooftop hot tub and patio is spectacular. The courtyard is beautiful. The restaurant has delicious food. The location is perfect, close to everything in the historic district. We will definitely being staying here again.

Our room had a wonderful private terrace and pool, but the shower didn’t work when we checked in, the toilet water smelled terrible, our towels were stained, and the pool was not cleaned before we arrived as there were floating bugs in it. Also, the air conditioner dripped water all the time no matter what temperature we kept it at. Once they fixed the shower and the smell in the bathroom, and cleaned the pool it was much better, but the AC never stopped dripping. Also, bring your own shower products and any other items you may need because our shower only had shampoo and hand soap and there were no amenity kits of any kind. The staff was very nice and helpful and the breakfast in the cafe was very good.

Great location in walking distance of all the main attractions in the city center. The staff was awesome and very accommodating, we also loved the view from the rooftop hot tub and also enjoyed a session in the temazcal.

The hotel does not have parking on site and they have you wait out in the street where there is no place to park and check in before they give you instructions to where the parking is. Once they told us where the parking was it took a couple of minutes for the people to open the gate having us wait again in the street where there is no place to stop and the cars are constantly honking at you. The room was okay, clean and basic but the shower head was terrible the water would not come out equal and would splash everywhere not giving a constant flow. The terrace with the jaccuzi has a nice view but the water is just lukewarm not jacuzzi type hot. The restaurant closes at 4pm which is inconvenient if you want to eat something for dinner. The staff did not seem to want to help at all they kept refering to \"on the reservation it states that\" instead of helping and finding a solution.

Friendly hotel..apart from one particular guest..dragging furniture around their floor/our ceiling at night..god knows why. Bed was comfortable..pillows were AWFUL..like wet cement..bathroom so small the door couldn’t open beyond 18” or so. Crawling with large ants for some reason..all over the toilet bowl. The decor was very tired and quite badly done.

The first room felt like a dungeon. Sink had broken chips and saw a cockroach. Terrible lighting and smelled weird. Asked to change rooms. Moved to a different much nicer room but they made me pay full price and I had to pay for both rooms despite not using one. The second room had no towels. The rooftop shared jacuzzi and sun deck were amazing as well. The front desk staff were amazing & helped us with directions, activities and booking ground transportation. The location was central and we felt safe walking everywhere. We would definitely stay here again.

A truly rustic hotel still in Centro but a few blocks away from the noisier sections. Friendly, accommodating service from the staff. Bed was comfortable. The on-site restaurant is small but had great food and great service. The property is well-maintained but quite old, so expect non-contemporary accommodations like a tiny bathroom, can hear your neighbors, etc.

A woman needs light to put on make-up a man needs more light to shave. Walking to the rooms down below did not have proper lighting either. It was in a great location thank you

My only couple of comments for improvement would be that the room could have done with a little more attention to the finish and it was a little dark. It could have done with another light.

This was a great find on my first visit to the city,! The location is ideal: near the Center, but not loud . The rooms were colorful and well-maintained. The best thing was the rooftop spa, which I used twice a day. It has a spectacular view of Santo Domingo! (I just wish that it were open after seven.) The breakfast was great, especially thanks to our waitress Yvonne. She was super friendly and attentive. The front desk staff were all very courteous and helpful.

Decent hotel and great location. A few things could make it better. Not lots of light in the rooms. Pathetically weak shower pressure. Hours of restaurant are pretty random. Itblooksnlike there's a pool bitnits just a javuzzinand it doesnt get hot. There is a large deck bit it has no furniture, nothing going on.

Very enjoyable stay, travelling solo and appreciated the 24/7 front desk who were all lovely. Close to some great bars and restaurants for drink or dinner and to walk home safely. Beautiful quaint property with lovely colourful decorations. Room was comfortable enough though the mattress was very firm and water pressure a bit light. Not deal breakers for me though.

We had a lovely time at this hotel with our family of 5 - staying in 2 rooms. We loved the outdoor terrace space. We enjoyed breakfast and midday snacks at the restaurant. The workout room is well equipped which we did use on some rainy days. Beds were firm, clean and comfortable. The hotel is charming with a welcoming and very helpful staff. It is a short enjoyable walk to Oaxaca sites.

Close to historic sites and amazing restaurants and bars. I enjoyed walking everywhere in town from it. This place has all the amenities I needed, including a daily carafe of water in the room and an AC unit. The only issue I had was the doorbell of the hotel. It does not function well. Often pressing the doorbell did not notify the front desk.

This property was so beautiful with courtyard gardens and cafe, terraza and roof top Jacuzzi with panoramic views! It made the longer walk from the bus station worth it! It was only 10 minutes from the Zocolo in Centre and close to several nearby parks and churches and cafes and restaurants. I would highly recommend. The view alone is spectacular and not to be missed!
