Muy buena opción en Oaxaca. El hotel no está en el centro, punto a tomar a consideración. El sitio es tranquilo y conocimos 2 muy buenos restaurantes en los alredores que no hubiésemos conocido si no nos hubiésemos hospedado ahí. Uno se llama Xaok. Full recomendado. El personal del hotel fue muy amable. Los desayunos estaban ricos y bien healthy. Súper que tenían garrafones de agua en diferentes puntos del hotel. Si a futuro hacen un mini jacuzi en la terraza outdoors arriba creo que la romperían.

A very cool place. Love the interior courtyard vibe, plus a fresh breakfast. Beds are really firm. Showers are big. As with every place in Oaxaca, you’ll probably want to have earplugs or a white noise maker.

Great stay at a nice hotel with a purpose. The location is convenient - it is about a 15 minute walk to the main parts of the city. The rooms and main areas are clean and the staff are nice and helpful. There is a lovely breakfast in the morning. It can be a bit loud at night because of the surrounding area and the you can hear the bathroom next to you, but the hotel provides ear plugs.

The hotel was located about 13 minutes walk from the city center, so if you want to be close, this hotel might not work for you. It's situated on a busy road with lots of noise, so the hotel provides you with ear plugs. Our room did not have hot water for the duration of our trip, which made showering unpleasant. The hotel does provide ample drinking water for guests as well as beers, wine, soda, and mezcal that can be charged to the room. It is important to note that the hotel donates 75% of its proceeds to local education, a noble endeavor.

The only downside, and frankly this is not something the hotel can do, is that there can be loud thumping music (we were in town during low season) or barking dogs at night around the area where the hotel is. If you’re not as sensitive to noise or a sound sleeper then this probably won’t be an issue.

We spent a week here and loved the experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We also took some of the cooking classes which were excellent. It's an easy walk to the main plazas and there are a number of excellent restaurants and coffee shops nearby. It's a little oasis of quiet and comfort in a vibrant and fascinating city. The self-service honor bar is also a really nice amenity and the breakfasts were wonderful.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel de Corazon in Oaxaca for a week, and 5 out of the 7 days there was no hot water. That was unacceptable, every day I told the front desk about the hot water issue and I was given excuses and reasons instead of solutions. Taking cold showers the majority of our stay was very uncomfortable. Management did not offer any real apology, compensation, or urgency to fix the problem. I was also told the reason they did not move us to another room was because they were full. I contacted Expedia and was told the hotel refused to offer any compensation. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not be returning to this hotel again!

We loved this hotel. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, the triple room was spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen staff was able to accommodate my food allergies at the free breakfast. We loved the venue. We were there only for one night but would definitely come again and stay for longer. The venue is spotless and creative and even though we missed breakfast- it all looked spectacular! Wonderful staff too!

Stayed in a compact room during a 5 day solo trip and it was so comfortable. The room was cleaned often, breakfast was DELICIOUS and they have a self service bar where you can grab refreshments after hours. It's about a 15 minute walk from el centro so if you don't mind walking, it's perfect. I probably got a taxi twice, at night. It's next to a police station which made me feel very safe.
I will say noise was a bit of an issue some nights, there is a considerable amount of space under the doors and the walls are thin which allow a lot of noise in. It wasn't enough to disturb my sleep, though.

I like that they help youth in the community. The breakfast was good. Beds were hard. Lock on door did not seem really secure. My key got stuck in it. I thought a spa was at the premises. No pool,no elevator, kinda steep incline into and of property. Would not recommend stay if you have mobility issues.

Note that although “air conditioning” is mentioned on this site, our room, at least, didn’t have air conditioning. However, it did have a powerful ceiling fan, and we were always perfectly comfortable despite the sweltering outdoor heat.

It’s a bit of a walk to town center but the area around the hotel is interesting and there’s some great things to check out. Good value too, just not a great option for light sleepers

One of the coolest hotels in the city. Just outside of the busy area, still safe and walkable. Very unique architecture and modern feel with awesome rooftop patios. Breakfast was the highlight of the stay - three course meal, different every morning, and very well made. The only things to know are that the is a decent amount of road noise, but it is quiet from 10pm-7am. And the beds are quite firm.

This hotel has noble goals supporting an NGO for educational projects in the region and also the artistic design of the rooms and common areas is very attractive, however this is not the ideal choice for experiencing the vibrant nightlife and attractions of El Centro in Oaxaca City. The propery is located on a side street which is practically deserted at night and you must walk several blocks to find anything open. The hotel restaurant only serves breakfast apparently. Also be forewarned I was told at check in that friends of guests are not welcome on the property after 930 pm, a very early hour in a city where many don’t dine until quite late. Overall, this hotel supports a good cause and is good for travelers who want quiet away from the busy streets, but there are better options closer to the city center for those who want dining, nightlife, and shopping.

Hotel con Corazon was great! The atmosphere and service were excellent. The location is also great and we were able to walk everywhere. There are some really great restaurants all around too. My only complaint was that our room was directly below the 3rd floor patio area and it was very loud for us when there were guests up there smoking and talking. Luckily, no one hung out up there late night. Overall, it is a great spot and I would highly recommend.

Hotel Con Corazon felt like a home away from home. Unique, attractive modern design, warm and helpful staff, excellent breakfasts, and very comfortable rooms. I had a hard time navigating the stairs to an upper floor because of a painful knee, but the staff switched us to a beautiful ground floor room as soon as one became available. We really appreciated the receptionists arranging cabs for us so that we could visit nearby pottery and weaving villages. They consistently contacted the best, most accommodating, friendly, and English-familiar drivers, which made our experience wonderful. Gracias!
