Very convenient location. 2 blocks from food Mercado 3 from pasillo de humo. Always felt safe walking (3 single ladies ) and Staff was super friendly, even when my party was not the best they always helped with a smiling face. Property could use some updating but it was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

The place looked nothing like the pictures online. Upon arrival, we were given a few towels, but they were dirty and stained. When we entered the room, it appeared as though it had not been cleaned. The blankets had visible stains, and the bathroom was unclean and unsanitary.
Due to concerns about safety and cleanliness, we only stayed for about 10 minutes before requesting to check out, as the accommodations did not meet our expectations. Fortunately, we were able to find another place to stay. Unfortunately, we would not recommend staying here.

Other than the shower being built in next to the toilet our stay was great just take the garbage and toilet paper out before you shower . If you are going during cold weather you may want to take another blanket. There is no ac or heater. But that is normal for Mexico.

The staff was great! I will give 5 stars to Lisbeth! She was accommodating in every sense of the way. The place needs an upgrade, overall. But if you want a place to go to sleep and that is it, then look no further. The facility is clean. You can shower with hot water. The bed is decent. There are no bugs.

Noisy, so it's better to stay on the 3rd floor, and towards the back.
Also, as a suggestion to the management, it would be awesome to have at least one channel in English. The coffee and drinkable water was very welcome. I certainly would go back.

It was the day of the dead weekend. Nothing else was available so we stayed here until we had other options. It has a bed and a shower/ restroom. It was either this or sleep in the street, so we opted for the stay but I would never stay here again if I had another option. On a positive side, it was dirt cheap and the staff were ok.

Worst place we’ve ever stayed at. More like a house turned into a cheap hotel. Noisy, no parking available, bad TV and WiFi signals. The shower was on top of the toilet (no joke). No daily cleaning. Photos were deceiving. You can’t contact them directly before your arrival and even Expedia couldn’t get in touch with them. Avoid!

Do not stay at this property. The place was filthy, sheets were with stains, bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned in forever. This place looked like it was used by the hour for prostitution and drug users. Some of the natives told us they were glad we didn’t spend a night in this place as they feared for our lives.

Lovely staff, great city, positive experience.

I had a really positive experience staying here. The staff are so nice and helpful (Edgar is particularly wonderful, honestly so positive and helpful) and i was really happy there. Yes the rooms do look a prison cell, but who cares? I was in Oaxaca to experience city and this hotel is full of lovely people. Everything works and the location is super central for you to get in and out of the city with ease. I felt really safe there as a solo traveler.

If you have a fantasy about 3rd world prisons this might be the hotel for you. It seems like an abandoned prison. It is hard dirty concrete and the toilets have no seats. The windows do not close and let all the noise of the cell block enter. There were voices all night long and I woke to find my shower had no water at all. There seem to be better cheapies just south, but i was told this is the red light district.

An authentic serial-killer-vibe!

I was first let in to the wrong room, which was really dirty and smelling like smoke.
Then a few minutes later I was told I was in the wrong room, only to get a room in a similar condition (but no smoke smell).
I’m sure there are cockroaches here during the warmer periods of the year.
Don’t stay here, if you care about the ambiance.

Eso no es un hotel, es como una cuarteria terceramundista, con un escándalo absolutamente toda la noche, azotones de puertas llaves de agua abiertas, está más grueso un calcetín que su toalla, solo faltó que los dieran una cubeta de inodoro, un papel Estrada está más grueso que su cobija, la regadera está en los 15 CM de espacio entre el lavamanos e inodoro, pude acostarme vestido pero el escándalo es insufrible

Cuando ví las opiniones tan negativas estaba dispuesto a cambiarme una vez pasada la primera noche. Pero la verdad a mí me funcionó. Encontré el lugar amplio y limpio. No encontré animales ni sábanas sucias. Había café gratis. Estaba cerca del zócalo. Sin duda es mejor que un hostal y más económico. Si leen referencias de otros hoteles más caros resulta que se quejan de insectos, camas incómodas y sábanas sucias. Cosas que cambiaría son las camas por unas mas cómodas, más cobijas y toallas. Estuve 5 días.

Las cobijas para cubrirnos estaban rasgadas al igual que las toallas de baño. El baño es reducido, todo se moja.

Este hotel es solo para emergencias. Nos quedamos ahi porque de plano no encontramos alojamiento en la semana de festejos de dia de muertos y aun asi no lo vendieron como hotel de 4 estrellas...

El hotel es viejo, habitaciones super sofocadas donde no ventila el aire me asaba por las noches... Camas terribles hasta me lastimaron la cadera al dormir... Fue una estancia muy pero muy incomoda y la regadera que me toco tenia una ventana quebrada y tuve que poner una sudadera para tapar el hoyo. En fin...

La ventaja es que el hotel esta muy centrico y te puedes ir caminando a muchos lugares y spots del centro historico muchisimas buenas opciones para comer, los mejores mercados para comprar y comer comida riquisima estan muy cerca.

Ahhhh y no aceptan pago con tarjeta asi que considerenlo....

Pésima limpieza, incluyendo las toallas y sabanas (aunque olían a limpio, sus condiciones indicaban lo contrario), deficientes canales en la televisión y no cuenta con estacionamiento.

Situación que nos pasó, que debajo de una de las camas (que ocupamos mover), el piso se encontraba sucio y chicloso.

Lo bueno a destacar sería que contaba con buen internet y el agua caliente salía al instante.

Es muy cómodo estar ahí por la cercanía de todo y el precio accesible, sin embargo está muy descuidado y tuvimos una situación una de las noches de que en otra habitación hubo disturbios, gritos, llantos y ruidos muy fuertes como que aventaban cosas ó golpeaban algo, no salimos por precaución más no hubo nadie responsable del hotel que tomara acción al respecto, y al otro día por la mañana solo nos dijeron “no se preocupen, ya se fueron”.

La habitacion tenia almohadas muy pequeñas, las toallas ya estan muy desgastadas, el baño es muy pequeño y se veia sucio, la regadera estaba tapada, le falta mantenido. Adicional a esto no hay un control de ruido con el resto de los huéspedes, gritaban o corrian y nadie de la recepción les pidio bajar el volumen por respeto al resto de los huéspedes que si queriamos descansar
