My son, grandson and I stayed at La Quinta for 4 days, 3 nights. Unknown to us, the property was being renovated and much of the work was being performed on a scaffold outside our window. There was drilling, hammering and loud talk right outside our window. We could not open our drapes and when we came back to our room to rest, it was impossible because of the noise. We asked if there was another 2 queen bed room and the young man said there was, but they wanted to keep it for new customers, but he could check with his supervisor who said we could switch rooms. When I came down to re-register for the new room, the young man said that because we reserved the room through Expedia, we would have to pay more to get the new room. We couldn't pay more, so we didn't get the room. The next day, my son had a phone interview for a prospective job, but he had to leave the room because of the noise and do the interview in his car. We certainly did not feel like we were valued guests and in fact, were left to feel that they didn't care about us at all and really only valued our money. This was a big disappointment as my son and I had stayed there in the past. I wasn't sure the bathroom had been cleaned and there was mold on the ceiling. We had to ask for new towels as there were no hooks or towel bars in the bathroom to dry our towels and re-use them. They never tried to clean our room - we finally caught someone and then they cleaned our room. Even pool area was neglected.

This property has good parking and lots of it. The staff is very nice. We had 2 rooms and stayed 4 nights. The refrigerator my room didn't work. I told the staff about it and they said they would send the maintenance guy up. When we returned later that day the room had been cleaned but the frig still didn't work and never did the whole trip. Had the frig in our 2nd room not worked, I would have complained again. As it was, I used the ice bucket full of ice to set down in my cooler to keep drinks cool in my room. Breakfast was the same every day, the only variation being link versus patty sausage, and one day both. Trash can was full one morning g at breakfast so we used the recycle can for trash. The property was also under renovation, which it needed. The location and price was good, and we've stayed there before, so we will continue to stay there when we visit Boise.

The room was clean when we arrived it was big enough for all of us the pool was a plus for the kids and enjoy while we was there for 3 days. The housekeepers for room services wasn't the best cleaners when ask to have the room serviced for the day. When we came back to the room was as I asked except the floor wasn't done correctly and the shelfs wasn't cleaned other then that enjoyed our stay

We were not impressed with our stay. The facilities could use a facelift. The carpet in the hallways needed to be vacuumed and many areas, especially near the elevators are starting to fray. The hotel room was okay, however, the bed was lousy. Not a comfortable bed. Breakfast was well stocked. Will choose another location next time.

It is a little difficult to find using your GPS. Once there the facilities were great! The downer was booking the room through Expedia. I missed out on a 15% (AARP, Military, and Educators) discount.
Next time I recommend Senior Citizens use Expedia to find the best rate for the room you want. Get the name, address, and phone number for the desk clerk at the hotel (not their reservation desk!), ask if the rate Expedia is quoting includes Tax and Fees!

I was disappointed with the room we were given. The carpet was torn and there were carpeting nails exposed. There also wasn’t a good seal to the toilet so it continuously ran. It didn’t seem like the motel was full so I was surprised we received a rundown room.

This property was very well located but be careful that your driver doesn't get it confused and take you to the airport La Quinta like mine did. This is not the location by the airport. It is not far from the airport however. Lovely check in by helpful girl (Emma?) It is located next to a large shopping mall and insane amount of food places within walking distance. Parking was in abundance and free. The breakfast was great and they kept on top of keeping it fresh but decaf coffee wasn't always available in the breakfast room. One morning I fetched it in the lobby and it was grossly cold and obviously from the day prior.

The hot tub and pool were only open one day of the 4 nights we stayed and I had called to make sure it was open prior to reserving this hotel so that was a huge disappointment. Also, when there unsupervised very young kids were in the pool.

In the room the bed mattress and sheets were very comfortable and the room looked very nice and modern. The room did not come with a blanket which I think should be standard in every rooms closet. The pillows were small but okay but I used my own. The sink was clogged. The closet doors were stuck open. And one other weird thing.. they did not have a do not disturb sign and made me walk down to get a really cheap one that fell off the door all the time. (Very annoying) Loved they had a fridge and micro. Coffee makers need an update. Overall hits & misses

First night there the people above us were sooo noisy at 130. I called the front desk. They said I should have sympathy for them. It was a high school choir group (more like marching band) that got in late cause their bus broke down. I asked front desk to call them to have them be mindful of sleeping guests. 530am they were at it again stomping around keeping us up. Front desk (something like Davina)was irritated with me. We missed several appointments that day because we got broken bad sleep. The hotel manager never returned my messages but 3 days later I went down to the front desk and found her. She was very sweet and understanding and gave us a comp night so we could finish our biz in Boise

We stayed here last year for Spring Break and had a great experience. The hotel is affordable, nice breakfast, clean, comfortable and convenient. However, we neglected to call BEFORE booking to confirm the pool was operational. Guess what? It wasn't. Needless to say, we had 4 devastated kids that were so excited to swim and couldn't and we couldn't cancel and of course there was no voucher or discount given. Why the hotel picked the week of spring break for pool renovations befuddles me. Did they not know loads of families would be coming to town and want to swim? Just a tip for the future, La Quinta: do your pool reno/cleaning in mid-Feb or late April or Sept or some other random time; NOT during Spring Break.

Beds were clean but the shower had someone else’s hair on the wall and side of holder. Toilet had someone’s precious urine and no pillows. Breakfast was a bummer. The eggs weren’t ready and the sausage was overcooked like burned. That’s pretty much what they served. The front desk guy wasn’t much help and we called prior and was told the pool was open during the time of our stay and was out of service.

Emilie at the front desk was a dream. She was so helpful and sweet and was so refreshing after our previous nights experience(at a different hotel). The area is fantastic and offers a mall and many restaurants within walking distance. The room was absolutely perfect and offered multiple rooms which allowed us to put our little one down early and still enjoy movies with my husband without disrupting her.

The breakfast was the best part of my stay. the Wifi didn't reach my room despite me being super close to the server room. The TV was standard hotel affair. I don't understand how they in 2026 Hotels don't just use a streaming stick that allows customers to sign into their streaming services so that we don't have to be forced to deal with whatever is on cable. Worst of all the pool, hot tub, and fitness room were all under construction so the main reason for me picking this place, I couldn't even use...

This hotel was super clean and I loved the special touch of the tp triangles and tissue rose ☺️. It was very quiet and the bed was so comfy 😴 We were especially glad that their weight room,pool and spa are open 24hrs.
The only suggestion we have is to get flavored creamers for the coffee instead of just half and half for us non-dairy folks.
