Tim Mansion is in a great location overall, though beware you’ll be able to hear tuk-tuks driving by (they kindly provided ear plugs in the room!). Great selection of food nearby, as well as a nice plus that there was a small breakfast service for guests in the lobby. Room was cute and clean, staff was very nice. The rooftop view of Golden Mount was amazing!!

The room was clean. The bathroom was workable but was very small. The was a great noodle stall just down the street that was fantastic. The area was quiet and safe. Staff was great when we were checking in very late because our flight was delayed.

Me and my daughter came here for 10 days, and the location is fantastic. Close to the MRT and tourism centres, as well as the BTS. The hotel is also next to multiple famous locations, providing a plethora of different places to eat inexpensive yet fantastic food.

The service is also fantastic, with a relaxed environment that feels like home. The restaurant downstairs serves delicious food, and they have excellent security. They give you a keycard that allows you to enter, so no need to worry about any curfew.

There’s one other USP to this hotel that ties it all together - their Siamese cat named Coffee. Super friendly and talkative, as well as having a knack for finding interesting places to sleep, Coffee is a cute little companion that can help you get over missing your pets if you have any.

This is a great hotel if you want to save, too. Travel costs are low if you want something to eat as the hotel is surrounded by amenities (there’s a 7 eleven right across the street!) and many authentic thai restaurants and bars.

Overall, this hotel has provided a more than pleasant stay for us, and we’ll definitely be coming back again. Good rooms, friendly staff and such a great aesthetically pleasing environment. 10/10! Would recommend.

Tim mansion hotel was our first hotel on our first few days in bangkok. Hotel location is convenient for local food, temple, and street foods. There is an outdoor street food stall just outside of the hotel for late dinner/snack. Highly recommend if you are looking for a hotel with walkable distance to the places you want to go to.

The property does not have a 24 hour front desk which caused a nightmare. You had to get back before 10 pm to get back in. She explained that you can get in through the back also, which is what caused some problems. Literally a fence to get through. At night time one couple had an argument in the middle of the night and caused a huge scene. Mind you this was maybe 8 doors down my room and it was still loud. The couole argued ran up and down the hallway and started throwing things. But theres no front desk there after a certain time..so it just kept going for 2 hours until the guy decided to go past my door to sleep on the floor i guess. Eventually she came out which woke me up again since they started round 2. She let him back in and slammed the door. Worst night of sleep..tv has very limited channels.no safe box in room. I wouldnt stay here again. I just stayed here to put my name on jay fai's list as early as possible.

Perfect location. Super close to all you want todo hear. And still far enough not be hearing the crazyness from the parties.

Wonderful and completely new renovated hotel. Coulndt ask for more. They are still finishing up some renovations in the back side as it looks like. So for the moment not all emeneties are available. But hey... you come to bangkok to experoance a city not stay all day st the hotel.... i hope!;)

Okay but annoying traffic noise

The check-in process was fine and needed a minimum deposit of 500 baht or ID for the room key. The room was of adequate size but there was no mini fridge if you wanted to buy water or other refreshments to keep cold. The TV had no remote control so was useless really. The bathroom shower and toilet was OK but the water could have been a bit warmer. The room had Jalousie window slats which I don't think are appropriate for a hotel in a centre location with busy traffic outside.

Noisey Hostel.

Miserable staff, tiny room. Lots of noise through thin walls.
We were refused a remote for the TV. Apparently the hotel doesn't have TV even though they are in the rooms. I suppose guests have been having them on too loud through the thin walls.
There was no free bottle water either. Tim House is basically a hostel playing at being a hotel.

Great location within walking distance of all the main parts of the tourist area, palace, night markets etc, chilled vibe with a open bar/eating area downstairs with cheap coffees/food/beers. A great place to sit and relax, also best (and most expensive) Phaedra Thai in Thailand right next door.

Rooms are basic, my tv didn’t work and the windows are slats that open and not a solid pain of glass so it’s noisy until about 3am when everything settles down outside.

Nothing a pair of ear plugs or a few cheap beers won’t fix.

Great place, worth the price!

Great location, right next door to one of the busiest pad Thai places in the city. Service was phenomenal, all the staff were extremely nice and helpful. We arrived past midnight and no safety concerns about the neighborhood, great people watching though! Bed/shower weren't the best, especially if you are used to luxury, but certainly functional given the price. Definitely recommend for those willing to part with some creature comforts for the sake of adventure.

There is really nothing to complain about this hotel.. especially for the price. The only reason we did not rate it as 5 stars is because we know there are obviously hotels that are way better quality than this.
It was walking distance from Khao San Road which has a bunch of bars and things to do at night. The staff was very helpful and always had a smile on their face. While being there, we discovered the best Pad Thai restaurant is right next door!! The only noise we really heard were the motor bikes at all times of night, but it really did not bother us because we were so tired we slept right through it all! I enjoyed staying in this area because I feel we were closer to everything and it gave us more of the Thai vibe, rather than paying crazy amounts for \"nicer\" hotels.

Stayed for a few nights. It was a great place location wise, near one of the best Pad Thai places in Bangkok. You can't take the SkyTrain directly there but fairly close.

The front desk was kind enough to extend our stay at the same price, and asked us if we needed anything.

It was a small room next to the road that we had, so would try to book away from the road. The Wifi was very shotty, never knew if it was going to work.

Over all was cheaper than staying in a hostel, close to everything, and had the essentials.

They were nice, we could watch sports in the reception. The rooms are clean and in good condition. It is a good value for money to stay with your partner.
You can go waling to Khao san, the palace, china town and few meters from the hotel you there are many nice places to eat.

A great guesthouse experience

This small guesthouse has wonderful charm. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The location is central to all the major sites. The staff was more than happy to help you find the sites and the least expensive way to get there.

At night, the neighborhood has many great sidewalk restaurants to choose from. CNN and BBC rated the restaurant next door as the best Pad Thai in Bangkok.

Clean and comfortable, bit far from Khao San Road

Room was exceptionally clean, bed was big and comfortable, and had a flat screen TV. Room was small but great for the price. Bathroom was clean. About a 20 minute walk from Khao San road but there's a 7-11 right across the street. Would definitely recommend this for a couple needing a clean double bed.

Good place for a short stay

This was the second time we stayed here. Great value for the price. The room has aircon, free wifi (although quite slow), is clean and has a comfortable bed. The main attractions are in walking distance and there´s a small supermarket across the road. As a bonus the most famous Pad Thai restaurant in Bangkok is next door. Strangely enough there was no breakfast available this time, but the last time it was quite alright. Definitely recommandable for a short stay.

Also erst einmal vorab,das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut wenn man einige Abstriche machen kann.
Positiv: mega leckerer Pad Thai Laden direkt gegenüber , Großer Palast und weitere Tempel in 20-25min zu Fuß erreichbar,engagierte Mitarbeiter
Negativ: Lautstärke,wir haben dreimal das zimmer gewechselt und es war überall unfassbar laut,da das Hotel an einer großen Straße liegt - für uns war es nicht möglich hier zu schlafen,weshalb wir das hotel dann doch gewechselt haben (trotz Orophax) . Wem das allerdings nichts ausmacht und wer keinen großen Komfort braucht ,der ist hier gut aufgehoben

Værelset var egentlig udmærket, rent og stor seng. Værelset var dog helt nymalet. Det lugtede meget kraftigt af maling og vores ting klistrede til de nymalede hylder. Vi kunne ikke lufte ud, da vinduerne ikke kunne åbnes.
Vi boede på værelset 3 dage, uden af få gjort rent eller tømt skraldespanden.
Vi havde betalt for morgenmad på forhånd, det skulle vi bede om flere gange og vi skulle fremvise mail flere gange som bevis.

Bien pour pas cher.

Décor minimal dans les chambres, du reste fort propres. Toutes les installations sont fonctionnelles (clim, sanitaires etc...). Emplacement idéal, restaurants nombreux et variés juste en bas à toute heure de la journée, au coeur du quartier historique. Rapport qualité prix imbattable, si l'on n'est pas trop exigeant sur la décoration. La chambre 314 a vue sur le Mont d'Or! Le plus fameux pad thaï de Bangkok est à côté. Idéal pour petits budgets qui veulent le top quitte à sacrifier l'accessoire.

Hôtel non isolé du coup c'est comme si les mûrs n'existent pas, on entend tout.
Les nuits sont inconfortables, la salle de bain est très sale limite insalubre.
