Great value - more hotel than posh hostel

A great find! We stayed in a double room and it was like staying in a hotel. The decor is modern, bathroom was great and a super comfy bed.
Really happy with the breakfast included and the free access to water/coffee. Rooftop bar was great and a lovely view over the city.
Staff were friendly and very good customer service.
Would definitely recommend to friends travelling here in future and would look to book here again if back in Bangkok

This place was more than I expected or could have hoped for. The private room was great, and the staff were so friendly and helpful whenever I had questions. Located within walking distance of everything you want to see, but not in the middle of the madness of Khao San road.

I had a great stay here for an amazing price. The breakfast was delicious and there were several options to choose from. The storage units in the shared rooms were large and felt very secure, which I greatly appreciated. Several great sights and cafes/restaurants were within walking distance and the neighborhood felt very safe. Nice view from the rooftop too! I will note, the water under the bridge next to the hostel is quite dirty and smelly, and I could sometimes smell it in the bathroom as the window is open for ventilation, but that's not the property's fault. Would absolutely stay here again in the future.

After a long day of travelling, and trying not to be scammed by taxis, I was disappointed to arrive at this hostel without a welcome, or anyone at the reception desk. I waited for over 5 mins at the front desk while other staff walked past. I said “Hello” several times, and finally after raising my voice saying “Hello”, did the reception staff came out from a room just behind the desk - still no greeting or welcome from him. Not impressed, especially for a “Poshtel”.

The rooms were small, but clean, with good air-conditioning, and a mini fridge which was really nice! The luggage storage is right in the bunk with you, which was a bit tricky for me on the top bunk to get my suitcase up, but locker was nice and big and even had a small personal item locker right beside the bed.

The washrooms were nice and clean, shampoo and shower gel in each stall, enough showers and toilets on each floor that there was never a wait to use them. The hostel as a whole, was very clean.

I did feel a bit scammed my first night, as I just wanted to have supper in the main floor/lobby of the hostel - I was told by staff to go up to the Sky Bar - I hesitated, as I wanted to stay down to check out the area after, but was it was insisted upon that I take the elevator back up and go to the Sky Bar for supper, but then had to pay almost 15% of my bill (after I already tipped) added charges that were not explained or outlined anywhere prior to ordering.

The staff was very friendly, and I love that they all remembered my first name throughout my stay. The sky bar is beautiful and a great place to connect with other travelers. Khao San Road is a short walk from this hostel, as is the infamous street food chef, Jay Fai (check her out on Netflix's street food series), a Michelin star winner. I highly recommend this hostel. By far the best I've stayed at.

Nice place but expensive bar and restaurant

Bar was extremely overpriced even for the area.
Also hostels really need to start removing people from dorms for snoring. It’s no different if someone is disruptive with their snoring or talking loudly all night in a dorm room.

Excellent customer service. Rooms, shower and bathroom are very comfortable and clean. Close to all of the tourist attractions. Short Grab ride to mall for shopping. No laundry in building. limited restaurants in the area but the hostels in house restaurant is very affordable and the food was great.

This is one of the better hostels I've stayed at in Thailand. Each bed comes with individual, fairly big, flat screen TVs, with headphones and a lamp, plus a curtain. It's centrally located, you can walk to Khaosan in 5 mins. There is a nice patio upstairs. There are two 7/11s across the street from each other.

Perfect Start to Our Trip!

Printing House Poshtel was a great place to start our Thailand vacation. It's within easy walking distance of a lot of the main attractions, without putting you right in the thick of all the tourists. The bar up on the roof has beautiful views at night, and the atmosphere is relaxed and easy. If you're looking for for a calm entry into this bustling city, Printing House is a wonderful choice.

So far the best hostel in Bangkok!

I stated in the Printing House for 4 nights and It was generally all good. Staff are professional and the bed condition is clean and modern. Like other hostels sound proff is one of the problems there but it’s acceptable.

This hotel is a great location near khao Son road. We didn’t get much of it because everything was closed due to songkran.

The hotel had great breakfast!!! And great coffee. The workers there were nice and answered all our questions. Room was clean and cute and had great air conditioning. Also had an elevator to go up and down.

If you go during songrkan be aware the front of this poshtel is a prime location for little Thais and family to hang out in front of and super soak people. Be prepared to get wet!!!

Would stay again!

Do not think twice...
Very central but in a relatively quiet corner
Its a 10 minute walk off everything! Khaosan..grand palace.. chinatown is about 20 minutes... its so central we didnt feel a need for a motorcycle
Breakfasts are availble at the hotels restaurant for about 180 baht for couple
It tastes good and looks great. Their crew is too nice and polite :)
People who are staying at other hotels are coming in for the restaurant...
They have a very beautiful sky bar you should climb to the upper floor and then a little more.
We loved our stay!

The hotel looks brand new! And the service is OUTSTANDING!
PROS: Service, more than excellent! Everyone was always ready to help with a smile. Spotless clean, everywhere. Good breakfast. Busy area, with good access (via long walks) to sightseeing spots.
CONS: The only small disappointment was the size of our room. We (a family of 4, kids ages 17 and 23) stayed in a family room that looked bigger in the pics than it actually was. And not one closet or any place to keep your things. I guess in true backpacker style, you live out of your suitcase! But everything else about the place was so great, that we were not that much bothered by this :)

Best Hostel I have ever stayed in.

It is considered a hostel but the private rooms are on the hotel side of things, with everything being brand new and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed, as well as Varanya the GM around to make sure our stay was smooth and wonderful. They also provide water in the fridge that is safe to drink and refill it each day which helps, and also have their own restaurant/coffee bar which is a wonderful addition. There was some construction while we were around, so it made for some noise in the mornings and evenings as they were hard at work.

Ich war im Vergleich zu den restlichen Reisenden lange in dieser Unterkunft. Das Personal war nett und das Hostel für \"Hostel-Verhältnisse\" sauber. Schade fand ich nur, dass Bettwäsche und Handtuch nicht selbstständig und vor allem regelmäßig gewechselt wurden. Die Lage war super! Die Rooftop Bar bietet eine tolle Aussicht. Daher alles in allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt :)

El personal de 10 muy amables lo que no nos gusto es el baño que era compartido y para ir al baño o ducharte habia que salir fuera de la habitación. La zona del hotel perfecta ya que teniamos todo super cerca. En 4 dias no nos han hecho la habitación ni cambio de toallas. Pero el personal muy servicial

Für Handtuch, nach dreitägiger Benutzung mit Gebrausspuren, mussten 100ThB extra bezahlt werden, mit der Herausgabe von Kassenbons ging auch nicht alles mit rechten Dingen zu. Die Kammer, Zimmer wäre die falsche Bezeichnung, ohne direktes Tageslicht.
Ich würde von einer Buchung in diesem Hotel abraten.
