Nice hotel close to Grand Palace. Location is in heart of local area so a little different. If u you our a light sleeper not the place you can hear the traffic all night but didn’t bother us. Sandy at reception is the best! Very helpfully. Pleasure to meet her. Room was good but nothing fancy. Overall a good stay.

The staff was great, and breakfast had plenty of options. The bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning in the room worked very well. The hot water tank in the shower was a little confusing to figure out, but once we figured it out the water got hot and was comfortable. The main issue was the surrounding area. The area did not feelsafe, with homeless men and sex workers on every corner. This was just a short stop in Bangkok, so it was fine but would not recommend to stay here for long, or with any children.

You get what you pay for. A clean, simple space. Walking distance to several major temples and grand palace, its a clean place to sleep while you spend most of your time out and about. Water pressure was quite low and shower hot/cold was confusing. Area around the hotel is popular with locals and street food, nearby to formal restaurants and cafes as well. Hotel has info posted on common scams, which we did encounter so the “heads up” saved us confusion, delays, and possibly cash. Nice rooftop space - check it out for sunset.

This was the perfect place to stay not only for the price but for the staff and location. It is very close to Khao San but not in the middle of the chaos so you have some quiet. The area is chill and close to many coffee shops, street vendors and temples while still walking distance from Khao San. For someone first time in Thailand this is amazing - also the staff is there 24/7 and so so helpful with booking, making calls and helping navigate the area. The staff especially Su-Ay (Sandy) was hospitable helpful and so sweet and accommodating.
The only issue was the shower with low pressure and cold. However our friend also stayed there and it was only our room.
Also the bed amazing so comfy and the AC was super strong !

Great location and lovely stay.
Ideal location. 20min walk to temples/5mins by taxi. 7min walk to Koh san road. Walking around at midnight and felt safe.
Friendly staff. Arranged taxi at good price to the airport from them. They offered help with directions and were generally always friendly.
Room was clean, good size, nicely decorated. Well maintained building. Bathroom was fine. Water in rooms was a nice perk.
Only stayed for 2 nights and never had breakfast but menu looked nice.
I would recommend and i'd stay here again. Nothing negative to report.

Great location and easy to get to many tourists locations such as the grand palace and Reclining Buddah. We loved the layout and restaurant area which was cool and shaded. They staff was fantastic and the room comfortable. Very minor this would have made this place perfect. 1) no hand soap- this is fairly common in Thailand but we had to use the body wash located in the shower. 2) The pool was super cloudy- you couldn’t see your hand 6 inches under the water. Overall a fantastic place that I would definitely stay at again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Warehouse, especially the closeness to many of the temples and to Koh Song Road. We loved the street vendors on the corner across from the hotel. The room was great and we had a balcony overlooking the street. We used the rooftop deck a few times to relax and have a beer.

Is pleasing to stay in The Warehouse Bangkok. There’s a 7 eleven nearby and walking distance to Kao Shan. Food are delicious and staffs in the reception were very friendly. But be careful if going out to the street at night as there’s quite alot of “business” going on there. I hope they speed up their wifi and expand the wifi coverage.

the place was nice, however, the area was a bit shady. close to all attractions, but the street leading to it was a bit unsafe especially during the night. i was walking alone after dark and felt unsafe although nothing happened to me. if you go back at night by car/taxi/tuk-tuk, then it is great. during the night was a bit noisy so i had to sleep with ear plugs.

Room grows on you

Stayed 16-Oct-2016 for 2 nights in standard twin room without breakfast. Was offered a double room number 207 on check-in. We arrived at 20:00 and the corridor to our room looked like bare concrete. The main room-door looked like a bathroom door and my colleague in the adjoining room was trapped inside for 10 minutes unable to release the pressure-stud door-chain. Room had wooden palettes for furniture and the ceiling looked grotty with visible pipes. The room had a kettle and coffee, but no tea.

The shower was good and clean. There are free gel/shampoo fixed to the shower, but no shelf to place your own shampoo/gel.

In daylight, the room and concrete-look floors looked nicer, I grew to like it. The hotel is designed to look like a warehouse. It is not, like I first thought in the gloomy night time lights, an actual warehouse.

No restaurants nearby at nights. I ate at a Thai cafe diagonally opposite the hotel and only saw 1 group of tourists walk by. It is mainly a Thai area and there are ladyboys and girls hanging around the street corners.
We arrived the day after the King passed away and the area was sombre. I walked around the area and there were Thai men drinking in the dark in bars.
If it wasn't for the sombre occasion, I'd feel less safe walking around at night.

The hotel is well located to see all the central sights by foot e.g. Grand Palace, Wat Saket, that you'd expect to pay a lot more to stay there, it is just the grim area. It was totally safe to walk arou

The Warehouse was great value for money, the rooms are clean and well equipped. The staff are very good, always willing to help with any queries you may have. The breakfasts are great. The location of The Warehouse is perfect, just 5 mins walk to Koh San Road. The Grand Palace and Wat Pho are within 15-20 mins walk.

Pretty cool and unique hotel but...

We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel was nice and clean but after spending the first day exploring Bangkok we were hoping to come back to a cool room but instead we came back to a warm room in which the Air Con couldn't keep up with the BKK heat. After asking to switch rooms they moved us and we found the Air Con in that room was sub-par. I have been to Thailand before and I understand it's hit but I know the Air Con at other hotels work and keep rooms cool . I think they just don't upkeep them or something.
I lliked everything about the hotel except the Air Con , if you like warm rooms after being in BKK heat this may be a good hotel for you but I won't return.

Just a neat place. It's different than probably any hotel you've stayed at before. Concrete floors, simple, doors don't seal along the bottom so you can hear what happens outside, but great staff, clean and fun atmosphere.

Stayed for 2 nights in February 2017. The hotel design is very functional with an open plan on the ground floor that includes Reception and the dining area. The rooms are spacious with little outside noise. The hotel staff speak English and were very helpful.

Very clean, modern, mostly very smiley and helpful young staff. Area is more Thai but with modern galleries, backpackers and this hotel making inroads into the district.
Not the most scenic of neighbourhoods and with a bit of road noise at night but nothing
That bothered us, the AC was quiet and effective, roof top area nice to relax on. Very good sized room. Luggage storage that you can lock baggage to - note that it is in a cage behind reception but that it has a gap at the top. In room safe.
Good location for our requirements- restaurants we wanted to be within walking distance of.
Cheaper and better than what would be on offer in the hotel dining but not to say that their food
Was poor, just that there is the real tried and trusted stuff within 10 mins.

May Kaidees for vegetarian and vegan food at the other end of Tanao, in an alley parallel.

Walking distance to Khao San and Most major historical sites.

May be Subject to road restrictions at times of Royal related events post October 2016. It made it awkward to arrive via taxi from BKK as they knew it was gridlock in places. Check planned events.

For information-

400 Bahts, paid to driver (arranged by hotel) to Don Mueang Airport. 50 mins leaving at 07:30 on a Monday morning.
NB 500 to BKK
A larger van for 4+ people I think was approx. 1000 to 1200 Baht

Quiet hotel but close to attractions

Close proximity to Khao San and the cultural places like Grand Palace and temples. Max 2 days stay is alright. Hotel is about 7mins walk. Its safe at night but not much activity...so everything is in Khao San. Nice spacious room acceptable decor exactly like in a warehouse....its different. Nice open air restaurant at the lobby...but closes at 6pm...received a few mosquitoes if you hang around the lobby in the evening. Excellent staff . Speaks English well and very customer oriented. Overall its unique in its own ways.

Nice location, we were lucky and had a room not directly facing the street and it was much less noisy than expected in a mega city like Bangkok

It is 1min walk to seven11 and ATM, 5 min to khan San, 15 min to grand palace

We read in other recommendations that there are some dark streets and homeless people. That is true, at night all shops close and the streets are quit, but you do not have to fear. Although not because of the people who sleep on the street ( we just felt sorry for them)

Our flight was quite late and we could store our luggage the whole day. The hostel opposite the street offers shower service for 100 Baht ( recommended from reception girl who was very sorry that she could not offer to us)

We stayed there 2 nights.
Hotel is new (my guess not more than 2 years old). Very cool look warehouse / hipster style with cool lobby and furniture. As good facilities as a big chain hotel but with a lot more charm.
Restaurant in the lobby served a good breakfast
Location for us was great as it was only a 10 minutes walk from Khao San Road. Not need for taxis although easy to grab one nearby if required. The area around is gentrifying so there are a few characters around at night but we didn't have any issues.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, everything you need and in a really good location close to Khao San Road. Although a little grotty in the surrounding streets, with homeless people and night workers, it is very safe to walk at night or a quick ride back in a tuk tuk. There is quite a bit of 'street noise' at night, but nothing that the air conditioner and ear plugs wouldn't drown out. The Forklift Cafe (on the ground level) is nice, and not too badly priced. Word of caution: Make sure your taxi driver knows where to go before you leave, as the hotel seems a little difficult for them to find (fare from main airport to hotel 500 baht)

This hotel is only a 5 minute walk from Khaosan. The rooms are spacious enough for two adults and the free wifi was adequate. Unfortunately the cafe closed early during our stay so we did not sample the coffees in the cafe! It's a shame that no teabags are provided in the room with proper cups. The breakfast was good as it is made to order rather than buffet style, with a choice of cereals, fruit juice, tea/coffee and a hot meal from a choice of 6.

CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, GREAT LOCATION AT A GOOD PRICE

Stayed for three nights and was very happy with the service, rooms and location (easy walking distance to Wat Pho (reclining Buddha), the Grand Palace, flower market, river and Ko San Road).

Safe to walk around at night or a short trip in a tuk tuk. There are a few night workers and people sleeping on the streets, but they are no bother. There aren't too many tourists in the area, mainly local Thais, which is part of the charm.

The hotel staff are very obliging - phoning for taxis, storing bags etc.

The rooms are spacious, clean and have everything that you would need - free water and coffee included. There is a little 'street noise' throughout the night, but not too bad - nothing earplugs wont block out!

The Forklift Cafe is convenient and ok, but there are lots of other options around.

Would certainly recommend The Warehouse to others and wouldn't hesitate staying there again, in fact, I am!

Chic, funky hotel in perfect location.

This funky and quirky hotel wouldn't look out of place in Shoreditch (London) - it's got that cold warehouse look but with all the warmth of the lovely Thai staff who work there.
The hotel's location is great - less than 10 minute walk to Kho San Rd - and perfectly located in the centre to easily grab a tuk tuk anywhere. We walked everything in the city - grand palace, china town, flower markets etc.
our room was lovely; big, spacious and clean. Free wifi, two bottles of free water every day. Very helpful receptionists as well who would write things in Thai for us to give to taxi drivers and point out best things to do.
Can't wait to go back!

The hotel was great and everything I expected it to be. We wanted to stay near Khao San without the noise and volume of people. There were a lot of attractions nearby at a walking distance. We stayed there on two separate nights and the staff allowed us to leave our big luggages before spending a few days in Chiang Mai. Overall a good experience. The staff was really helpful. Great location if you want to be a close walk away from Khao San road.

Hotel has a very modern feel to it. Pictures are not misleading; place has a cool vibe. Lots of different drinks available from the bar (including smoothies and juices). Only downfall is that the bar closes very early.

Hotel staff very helpful and friendly.

FYI: The smells in the nearby streets are strong and pungent, only made worse by the hot, humid Thai air.

I was looking for a place for two nights on my arrival in BK that was convenient to the grand palace etc. and I feel like I really lucked out choosing this place. It is not a 5* but there aren't any in the area. It was a little more costly then some other places in the area and after meandering around those two days I can duly understand why. If you are looking for a clean comfy place that is either a cheap short cab ride or a nice walk to the Grand Palace do yourself a favor and stay here. The area is a bit dodgy at night but that is Old BK for you. It was very convenient to get around, food was good, breakfast ok but lunch/dinner menu small but tasty. Portions are small but so are all places in Thailand. I have mild shellfish allergies but did not have any issues eating here. I would tell anyone that will listen; if you want a few nights in old BK with good AC, good shower, clean bed/room, willing to spend a little more then other places in the area, look no further. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if the situation arises.

Bang for your buck in Bangkok!

Came to Bangkok for the tail end of our trip of South East Asia. Chose this hotel as it was close to Khao San Rd. but far enough for peace and quiet. The room was clean and very cool...price was great and staff were nice although there were English language barriers and we ended up waiting 30 mins + for a taxi when we probably didn't need too. The neighbourhood of this hotel was a bit sketchy so be careful of your belongings and walking late at night. Lots of street workers on the side road and homeless people sleeping...smells like urine too but that's Bangkok baby! Make sure you give your taxi driver full directions as this hotel is new and they may not know where it is but it shouldn't cost you no more than $10 to get there.

Great Breakfast and Comfortable Room.

The room had everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable and had a chic 'warehouse' feel about it. The open-sided restaurant on the first floor let you feel like you were eating outside, but with a roof overhead. Great breakfasts, made to order and included in the room cost.

Amazing Breakfast-Definite Warehouse

The neighborhood was pretty bad.homeless outside on the sidewalk sleeping at night and during day. Quite loud at night. Room is very basic l, warehouse style but clean. The staff was very accommodating and the breakfast was incredible. What was even more incredible was their mojitos!

Great choice for a short stay near Khao san road

Hotel is a modern, simple and clean choice for a basic hotel near Khao san without being in the noise. It is in a neighborhood 3 blocks away with great small local restaurants close by. (In fact, some of the best Thai food I had on the trip) The Skytrain is NOT nearby so you will need a taxi.

Rooms are modern and comfortable. Wifi works. Cafe downstairs works limited hours but this is not so important as the location is ggod

Staff are nice but not great for advice for travelers.
NOTE: Price for a taxi from here to international airport is 500 baht (they do not use their taxi meter)

We stayed at the warehouse for 2 nights and it was exactly the sort of hotel we wanted. A room for 3 people - they added an extra rollaway bed free of charge and the room was comfortable enough for 3 large suitcases. The staff are particularly helpful if you need directions or if you need a taxi called for you. Location is quite near the Palace and Khao San Rd but not right next to them so it doesn't get to loud. Only thig is walking around late at night to the hotel is done through some quiet streets so just exercise caution.

6Nights in Bangkok

Enjoyed my time at Warehouse Bangkok. The hotel is conveniently located near the temples by the river and is a short walk (500m) from khao san road. Chinatown is also just about in walking distance though you may prefer a taxi. The staff were friendly and helpful without being pushy. The hotel is quite new and is, as described by its title, warehouse-like. There is a lot of soft furnishings but I guess the appeal here is the styling as a warehouse. Aircon worked great as did the shower with hot water. The advertised rooftop bar was unfortunately closed during my stay (late Jan15)

Pros: Location if you want to see the temples and not be on khao san road's doorstep but be within walking distance
Cons: WiFi reception in the further parts of the room (from the door) were close to non-existent as such I couldn't use my tablet by the desk in the room and had to hover by the room entrance.

Overall: A good hotel to stop in for the area

Book it if you can!

Very modern and urban style hotel in a convenient location in the Old City. Ten minute walk to Khao San Road for the food and other amusements located there -- while you stay safely away on a quiet non-tourist street. 10 minutes walk to the Great Palace. Great breakfast offered in open air restaurant on first floor. Make sure to print a map so you can show tuk tuk drivers or taxi drivers where it is located -- otherwise it is hard to find.

convenient, few frills, industrial cool

While only in Bangkok one night, this hotel was great for me and my husband. It's walking distance to Khao San Road, Wat Pho and the palace as well as an interesting little historical district called Phraeng Phuton with signage for restaurants and vendors that are easy to navigate. The hotel itself was simple, clean and modern with an industrial aesthetic that works nicely. The common area downstairs for food and lounging was also nice and comfortable. Everything felt new or well maintained. You can hear people and cars on the street all hours of the night so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper or not used to ambient city noise.
