The positive thing, is that the room is spacious and big. Good view of the Alor Setar Tower.
The plug in point was not working and the bathroom was looking old and not spotless clean.

Having traveled extensively across Asia for the past 15 years I can honest say I his was the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed in . We didn’t get the room we had booked , the tv in the room was unwatchable due to the poor reception, the room had a small fridge which despite having drinks in it didn’t work , no hot water . The food at breakfast was not great , the bread was so hard it was impossible to cut . The toilet flush was also trouble. I would never recommend this place and wil never return

Beyond being dated, this hotel has a serious cleanliness issue. There is mold everywhere in the bathroom and the fixtures are extremely dirty and in poor condition. I have never been in a hotel in such a deplorable state. AVOID this hotel unless this is the last place on earth available to you. Staff are unhelpful and don't seem to care. My worse hotel experience ever.

Slow responses to fix problems

The hotel is very old, and my room was not well maintained. I informed the reception that the TV and the safe were out of order. Nothing was done after 2days. You need to run water over 5min to get hot water. The window does not close properly. It has been a very uncomfortable stay.

Stay AWAY !!

This is one property I would stay away from. It's seen better days that's for sure. What it need is a total overhaul of the entire property starting with a fresh coat of paint, new floor carpet as the one in our room has a peculiar smell. Washroom is decent but there was no hot water, faucet was broken and you could literally move the bath tub. One thing for sure is that I will not be returning to the hotel.

Very hospitable hotel with complimentary sandwiches left over from previous tenant. Just like the staff, the unidentified presences were very friendly. They ring door bell before entering. Just as stated, shower has 2 options, either very hot or very cold. Nothing in the middle.

The room seemed kinda tired. There were patches on the carpet where water had obviously seeped through, especially where the bedroom carpet met the bathroom. The two times I stayed there, there were these floor blowers to dry out the carpet in the corridors.

The pictures look decent an I'm sure the hotel was nice when built or renovated, but maintenance and basic cleaning seems non-existent. Stains on carpet, walls. Fingerprints and smudges everywhere. My room smelled like sewage gases. The water in the toilet, sink, etc was yellow. I was very uncomfortable during my stay.

Room cleanliness can be improved alot! Found 2 cigarette ends once checked in, one on the floor beside the table and another one behind curtain, both are quite obvious. I purposely left it there and it wasn't been picked up after 3 days. I really doubt in the overall sanity of the hotel during pandemic. Moved to another hotel after my booking and not gonna extend it.

If this is your only option

No hairdryer. Lots of ants everywhere. Bed is squeeze between 2 pillars, can only climb into bed from the foot of the bed. Open space parking is terrible, car was seriously covered with bird droppings.

The room better but need to improve on the cleanness on carpet and shower tub.

The wifi is way better for this stay. Connection is better and faster. The staff are friendly and helpful on my comment for Wifi. Appreciate it.

Need to include more facilities in the hotel.
At least must have a Gym room for morning workout or after work workout in hotel.

Overall, it’s a good hotel to stay. Will repeat again soon.

I arrived at at the hotel on 15th of July. They did not change the pillow case and the bed sheet from previous occupant since it smells. Called the housekeeping to change the pillow case and they were nice enough to change the pillow case that night.

Room condition is great with touch screen switches and quite spacious.
There is a bathtub, not sure if you need it and the toilet can be quite a squeeze-in.
Good location, walking distance to Aman Central mall.
Breakfast is ok.
What it needs is a gym to make up for the lack of a pool.

Everything was perfect until my 3rd time stay.

My first and second time stayed was just perfect. The housekeeping will be cleaning your room at 11am daily. Be it you press the button or not. But my 3rd time staying in this hotel was just unpleasant stayed. Pressed the make up room from mrng and no respond till late afternoon. I need to call them and ask them to clean my room. Everyday.

1- There's a security post at the parking area but not manned.
I would assume since the parking was full and overflowed to the road side esp on peak time, any hotel security doing his rounds can be a good assurance.
2- For some reasons between 7 to 9 am the hot water supply to my room and the adjoining room, the pressure was low and only lukewarm. These happened 3 days continously from June 17 to 19th.It was still bearable but not as the same
relative to June 15th and 16th during my stay.
3- My son ordered room service, the service was good and the food was good... Chicken chop and fish and chips...

Very new hotel and comfortable hotel

A very new hotel with comfortable bed and nice washroom, room are quite big. I got a great view of the Alor Star Tower, The hotel restaurant food are good enough but the preparation took longer then expected, kitchen crew may need to be faster as we wait more then half an hour for the food and there is no one else in the restaurant during the time. Luckily the food still delicious.
Hotel staff very friendly and that is what a hotel need, the smile to make your day brighter.
Other then that this will be a great hotel to stay with this price.

A room given, with a big huge pillar inside and in the middle of the room. And I am pretty sure there are alot of empty rooms available, and that they gave us a room with that condition.

Toilet seat is tear off, the shower paip is leaking.

The hotel is brand new and looks grand. However, the breakfast was horrible, it was served in cold though it is semi ala-carte menu. The room is good except for the pillow is too soft and no bedroom slipper provided. I hope the hotel management will look into it.

First Time In Kedah

The hotel staff are very friendly and despite a busy weekend crowd, they were very pleasant and hospitable. Encik Rafizi and his team/colleagues had a busy Sunday morning crowd but despite that, he was very attentive to our requests. Housekeeping was prompt and the room was very clean.

The hotel is ideally located close to the city and walking distance to a huge mall.

Suggested improvements:
1. Air-conditioning in the corridor on our floor was not switched on and it was very humid once we came out of our room
2. Air-conditioning in the room was also not working effectively the first evening
3. There was no hot water in the shower - it was luke-warm
4. The shower cubicle is not sealed effectively - as a result the bathroom floor gets wet and can be a slip hazard.

Aman Central and Alor Setar Tower is within walking distance. Lots of food and shops around.
Clean and comfortable room. Very new, and tidy. Standard room with king bed is quite spacious. Separate bathtub and shower.
