Access to rooms is from an outside corridor. Hotel has no proper entrance, you walk through a bar and corridor to get to the life for reception. Very confusing. However, there are door staff to help you.

The hotel is extremely in need for a good refresh. It’s poorly maintained and every corner is mouldy and stained especially in the toilet, shower. The WiFi is also perpetually not working and need to re-start the router every morning. Terrible experience overall. Give it a miss.

Recently discovered their new Thai massage is really good and not expensive for hotel standard. Hotel probably need some refurbishment and upgrades. Will return to Hansar again and again.

Property seems neglected by management. Should be taken care of more to maintain the nice structure. Hallways was incomes and dirty looking, bathrooms were dirty, multiple types of bugs were in the hotel room, stains on upholstery. Poor maintenance overall, felt uncomfortable staying there and definitely not a 5 star experience.

It will be great if they can control mosquitoes (as I have been bitten by it when I was having breakfast), have a better WiFi (as I keep getting disconnected throughout my usage) and better channels on TV or have smart TV (most channels are not clear on the TV).

This is my second staying at Hansa. The reason I come back because I like the design of Vertigo Suite, breakfast. But now since Covid-19 situation, you have changed breakfast room and the choices of BF menu are not much. Also the bar at L level so quite. Better to have vibes to make us wanna spend some time and have some cocktails down there. So these two points make us a little bit disappointed and hope that things will get better soon.

The hotel service is below the standard. We order food delivery from other restaurants for around 2-3 times for 3 meals. No ones let us know when food arrived. We need to call to reception to check every times. We stay in Vertigo suite but only 4 bottles of water for us. and we need to pay if we ask more water. Bottle of water here is very cheap but they can't provide more for us.

The cleaning service was very poor to not there at all. We had to call reception 3 times to get clean towels after returning to an un made up room in the late afternoon despite the please clean light had been on all day. I am very upset that the hotel is charging me for 9-day stay when I didn't stay at the hotel at all. I received no booking confirmation ahead of time nor any notices about a pending reservation close to or after the check-in date. I stayed at another hotel and had no contact with the Hansar Hotel until I called them while in Bangkok to challenge the credit card charge that turned up. The hotel refused to accept a cancellation and said it is hotel policy to charge for the full time of booking regardless of how long or receipt of any cancellation notice after the check-in date. I have traveled overseas for 35 years and never been treated this way by any hotel. I think this is abusive and completely unfair. An empty room can be re-booked at any time so there is no loss beyond the first night.
I think Expedia should do more to screen its hotels to ensure fair and honest dealing with guests instead of just collecting the agency fee and saying \"not our problem\". I won't be using expedia anymore either.

Great little coffee shop / cafe downstairs with quality food. The only issue - and a lot of hotels in Bangkok are like this - the corridors are not air conditioned.

The staff in this hotel is excellent! They are so helpful and so friendly.
The room was huge!! We could’ve stayed for a month. It was like an apartment. Lots of storage . What it was lacking were outlets for our telephones near the beds. Only discovered that the outlet on one side of the bed could’ve been used for one cellphone. Internet was rather slow. The bathroom was huge . Comments on the bathroom. The shower floor needs to be redone as it looks a bit moldy. Inside the medicine cabinets a little spackling and paint would make it nicer. The sofa in the room needs to be reupholstered as it looks worn and tired.
But , overall, we loved the place, the location and the staff!

We arrived and checked it into our room (Luxury Suites). The moment that we enter into the room, notice the aircon is leaking (condensation). The reception offers us the room next door but we prefer the initial room (better view), so she arranges for the technician to fix it. The next day, it still dripping of water and finally it was fixed. Suggest it should be check before the guest arrival. Maybe this room has less attention, cos is nearer to the apartment.

Honestly, the room and furniture are outdated and poorly maintained. The housekeeping, don’t vacuum the carpet. Stains on the sofa.

The Wifi is really bad for a 5-star hotel, we need to login several times in a day even if we are in the room. Given a new password also the same thing, it didn’t help.

The TV is equally bad, not clear and some channels are not able to view (as compared to the first 2 days of our stay).

Generally, we are very pleased with the staffs, especially the staffs at EVE during our breakfast, they are very friendly and attentive in their services.

The hotel location is a plus point for us.

Would appreciate the management to bring the hotel to its 5-star standard in due course.

Overall a great stay here at the Hansar! The staff were all professionally trained and offered their best efforts in making our short two nights pleasant and comfortable.
The rooms were spacious and clean - with an exceptional view of the Royal Sports Club. Breakfast at Eve was simple yet fulfilling as the choices were varied with choices from an ala-carte menu as well as a small buffet selection - ample and nutritious spread!
There's a great restaurant officer by the name of Ella, a French lady - she was very helpful and informative and gave us many great tips.

The gym facilities and swimming pool are more than adequate and there's even a boxing/ muay thai ring for training.

This hotel in a prestigious part of the city central is easily accessible by the Rajadamri BTS station and a ten minute walk away to the rest of the fashionable neighbourhoods of Central World, Gaysorn Plaza and Platinum Mall.

Highly recommended for a quiet retreat or a shopping spree!

Hansar is a well maintained, high quality hotel in the Chit Lom area of Bangkok. The hotel is located close to two BTS stations and various shopping centres and provides a peaceful base to explore the city. All staff are extremely polite and courteous and the breakfast each morning was excellent. The rooms are clean and spacious and the outdoor pool and gym area on Level 8 provides a relaxing environment to swim and exercise.

Beautiful, spacious suite. Gorgeous, modern wood, stone and plant design throughout the hotel. Breakfast was good and tasty, but lacked variety compared to other Bangkok hotels I’ve stayed at. Pool is not large but is very nice. Fitness room was excellent and modern.
