Staff were really helpfull and couldn't do enough for you nothing was touch trouble..even put on a very early breakfast on for us due to a early departure time ..nice touch and much appreciated.

Convenient stay, close to Male airport. Food for dinner and breakfast was both very good and plentiful. Airport pick up and drop off was easily arranged. However one thing to note was they cannot do pick up’s at the domestic terminal for some reason so needed to walk to international arrivals to meet the shuttle. Clean room and a nice stay before leaving and H78 accommodated my 5am airport drop off which is also a plus.

The staff at H78 provide such good care and service. From the pick up at Velana airport to receiving us at the reception. Baggage was delivered to our room very quickly. The room was small but adequate with everything we required. The food was very good and an included breakfast.
We were driven back to the airport the next morning. Thank you

The constant banging and hammering throughout the day and might is an issue and should be advertised on the site as undoubtedly will go on for months . Whilst the room is comfortable enough and the breakfast ok the choice is limited . The staff are exceptional however the constant noise echoing throughout is enough to ruin the stay , past 10pm and hammering constant whizz disturbs sleep for those eco need to be up tor a flight . Whilst you can put up with it during the day through your the evening and intro the night is obtrusive and guests should be advised .

Everything was very nice. The staff are some of the lovliest people. The only problem you will face is their wifi speed. You won't have access to good wifi from within your room.

As someone from Europe, that can become frustrating because of the wifi speeds here, but don't mistake that for the overall hospitality. Top notch hotel and lovel staff. The beach is literally in front of the hotel too.

Perfect place to stay if you have a late flight out of Ventana. As most seaplanes have no air conditioning, you will arrive in Male sweaty and icky. If you have a 4-7 hour window from seaplane arrival and check in, spend the less than $100 to get a shuttle to/from the hotel to chill, shower and change into airplane outfit. Makes the trip back less of a hassle.

Pros: Airport shuttle service very convenient and comfortable. Breakfast buffet and baked goods very good. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff (Maya). In-room massage was FANTASTIC!
Cons: No in-room safe. Low water pressure in shower. Other than beach, nothing of interest close by. Ladies, remember to cover your legs down to knees when on beach and swimming. Dinner was not good (fish & chips), lunch was ok (chicken shwarma).
Good hotel if staying one night, I wouldn't consider it as a destination vacation stay.

Overall great staff and good customer service however the facilities are a bit small and no necessities. Need to buy your own shower gel body wash, which is fine. Just need to be disclosed this air conditioning. Doesn’t really work needs to be left on for hours so if you leave the room 3 to 4 hours are needed to make the room cool again.

Well located, 15 minutes from Male Airport. We stayed one night after our vacation in a resort island before return home. The room has all you need. Beautiful beach in front of the hotel. We ate at the Hotel restaurant and the food was delicious.All staff is super friendly and helpful. They include roundtrip airport/ boat or resort transportation. Recommended!!

I had a very pleasant one night stay at H78 before going on a surf boat trip. Staff were very welcoming from airport pick up to check in to the restaurant and to drop off at the ferry terminal. Breakfast, lunch and dinner options were varied and tasteful. I highly recommend the Reef Fish and Tuna Kothu Roshi. Rooms are a good size, with a comfy bed, air con, bathroom amenities and fantastic view.

Great for 1 night stay at the start & end of our holiday. The staff were so welcoming, friendly & professional.
Ideally located for the airport with transfers included. Shops & restaurants easy walking distance & lots of locals eating out there.
Great view from delux sea view room.
A little noisy with traffic at night and sea planes taking off 1st thing but not a problem unless you're a light sleeper. We enjoyed watching the world go bye.

We had an enjoyable 2-night stay! All of the staff was excellent, including Mani at check-in and Shine for airport transfer. The breakfast staff and dinner staff were attentive and extremely polite. Too many names to mention, but they all get a five-star review, including the housekeeping staff. Great to have an included breakfast buffet (small buffet, but nice variety and enough food for us). We had 2 dinners at the on-site restaurant; one street side and the other on the 4th level rooftop(nice evening view with a breeze). Food was excellent! We had sesame tuna, grilled white fish, seafood curry, and seafood platter. Side dishes (rice and seasoned boiled veggies) were great. Menu has plenty of selection at very reasonable costs. Room was small, but functional for its size with small fridge and coffee/tea selection. Beds were firm and comfortable. Open air environment if you want to have windows open, with room AC unit option. Quiet location. Nice to walk beach and to Central Park. Quick taxi ride to Malé (inexpensive) and Airport. Transfer to airport included in room cost.

Front desk staff not that friendly or welcoming, rooms aren’t soundproofed so could hear people outside the bedroom and on a very loud and busy road. Hotel location isn’t great and not close to anything. Doorman very friendly which was nice and made the experience better

We stayed one evening during our transit in Male on route to our final, island resort destination.

Very convenient location. Airport transfers provided were great. Food was good and the overall facility was nice and well kept/clean. Room was a little small but as advertised and perfectly suitable for a short stay.

Rooftop deck was particularly enjoyable and a great feature of this property.

The staff were all very nice and really made our short stay.

Special shout out to Amrita who went above and beyond in assisting us with sorting out our seaplane transfer.

Highly recommend this property!

The pick-up did not start very well as we had to wait for almost an hour and even had to call the hotel from the airport reception to get picked up. Other than that, service was excellent from check-in up until the complimentary airport drop-off. I even left some of my clothing and they kept it and I picked it up before we left Maldives. Breakfast was okay - good enough for us to get us by before we check in to an island hotel.

Lovely hotel with a great bunch of staff who are always willing to help. There's a nice restaurant at the hotel and plenty of other dining options in the area.

Fairly easy to get around.

I would recommend the hotel's massage service because it was very good and same prices as other nearby spas. You can also pay by card at hotel which wasn't possible at the local spas I went to.

I was there for two nights, on route to one of the islands. I feel that was plenty of time in Male if you're in the Maldives for a holiday.

I would definitely stop over at H78 again if passing through Male.

We had about 8 hours between the time our sea plane dropped us off and when our flight was scheduled to leave. We booked at stay at H78 as a place to relax and freshen up before our long flight. Their staff did a fantastic job collecting us from the airport and transporting to the hotel. Communication was really a strength and it was clear they cared a lot about their guests. The facility was clean but small and was fine for our purpose.

We chose to stay in the connected island north of the Male capitol for its convenience to the airport and price, and we were not disappointed. This budget hotel was better than we expected with an excellent location and staff who could not be more helpful. We requested a good room for our honeymoon and were given the best room (2nd top floor with ocean view balcony) that included a love heart of flowers on our bed. The price included free airport transfer in both directions with friendly and helpful staff.

H78 is a great little hotel nestled in a not so great area. It’s directly across from the beach, but it’s not well kept and there is lots of debris and construction garbage everywhere you go. Not a tourist destination, but a great place to stay if you’re transferring to a liveaboard. I didn’t feel unsafe at all and walked down to Bombay restaurant for a great meal at a great price. The staff of H78 was amazing and very friendly and helpful. The rooms were small but well-kept and modern with more than enough space if you’re just staying for the night. The breakfast was also amazing with a good selection of protein/carbs along with fresh squeezed fruit juices and homemade jams. They even made fresh cappuccinos. I would definitely stay here again!
