The room had cockroaches infested and mice droppings! The staff is so nice so I didn’t complain. The air conditioner sprays water on your head if you’re on the deck and on your face if you’re in the bed and makes a roaring sound on and off.

We stayed in the Queen Jr Suite with a Murphy bed and were thrilled with the comfort of the mattress and pillows! The room was spotless and offered plenty of closet space, plus a kitchen fully stocked with everything needed to cook and dine for four.While Publix isn't walkable, it's a very short drive away. The amenities are fantastic; the hot tub and pool are kept at the perfect temperature. The pool is open 24/7, with designated quiet hours from 8 pm to 8 am. Parking was never an issue—I could always find a spot.My absolute favorite part was the small wooden bridge over the lagoon leading to the beach at dusk (keep an eye out for cute raccoons after dark!). For dining and drinks, the Seaside Grill & Tiki Bar is a quick walk and serves a great mojito.

What a great experience. They had EVERYTHING you'd need. The property was right on the beach. The room had many regular towels and 4 additional beach towels. Silverware pots, pans, the works. Only downside was my units AC was loud. Thanks for the amazing stay.

We used the pool area a lot and enjoyed the welcome parties hosted by the staff. Shopping is a short ride share away. Beach had seaweed but still good for a long walk. I specifically paid for a King Junior Suite, but the room provided did not have a king bed and also did not include the extra room/living space described in the Expedia listing for the selected room type.
The hotel’s explanation was that the room assignment depended on availability, which was frustrating considering I had already booked and paid for a specific room category.
I had to spend about 40 minutes at the front desk insisting on receiving the correct room as described in my reservation. On top of that, I was informed there could be extra charges, which caused unnecessary stress and confusion. I eventually had to contact Expedia for assistance to resolve the issue.
Transparency and honoring booked accommodations should be a priority for guests. My advice to future guests is to take screenshots of the exact room description, room type, and bed configuration shown on Expedia when booking, in case there are discrepancies upon arrival

We so enjoyed our stay at The Canada House. We had a one bedroom and living room suite with a pulldown Murphy bed. The rooms were so spacious. There was also a full kitchen that was fully stocked with all basic appliances snd sturdy, new cookware. The most amazing part of the stay was the view and location - we had two huge balconies that overlooked a small pond and had a view of the ocean. It was a two minute walk from my bed, over a bridge and to the beach to see the sunset. We will definitely come stay here again. Thank you!

First day when I arrived at the property, even although Expedia gave me a document stating how much I was meant to pay the property, I had to pay them more than what was on the Expedia paperwork.
Based on the Expedia ad, I thought the hotel was on the beach, but there are two sides to the hotel, which is not mention in the ad, the east side, which where you check in also on the Beach side, and the west side, which is on the opposite side of the street. I was given a room on the west side which meant I had to take my bags back to my car and go over to the other side of the road, not something you want to do after a 4 hour drive. Then I got to my room. I saw the couch and what looked like a wardrobe but I couldn’t see a bed. Upon calling reception, I was told that the bed had to be pulled down from what it looked like the wardrobe doors. Again, not something you want to be doing after a long trip. Also, the cabinet that houses the wardrobe and drawers in my room was broken, the bed head was broken, there was a dirty towel hanging in the bathroom. I’m not sure from the previous guest or where it was from. The shower didn’t work properly the first time I used it it was extremely hot, scalding. The other times it was cold. When I was checking out, it seems one of the guest checking in hard a worse experience that me because he was demanding his money back, and he was moving to another hotel. Such a pity the area seems nice, but I’m sorry I wouldn’t be staying here again.

No, I found the room to be really not to the standards of what I would normally consider a decent room, but also there were a lot of things that needed to be repaired to our fixed and the Murphy bed, which I never knew what it was called until I found out it goes into the wall and it comes down, which I couldn't after seeing the room bring myself to stay not only that they had outdoor furniture inside a table in four chairs the bathroom had been sheet rock and some type of event whatever was peeling into the bathtub with spots on the bathtub. Wood was rotted on all the door cams a door frames.

Your bed is hidden in a wall. They had this rated at 9.2 wonderful. I will never trust their fake ratings again. Room was 80 degrees with broken down old air conditioner. I almost cried as it was my birthday trip. Got my money back with persistence. Had to find another hotel at 10 p.m. because hotels.com wouldn't help me get a new hotel. Even the check in area was dirty and gross with unfriendly staff who lied and said totally booked yet offered a second horror unit next to first one. STAY AWAY!

The room was extremely clean and well appointed. We had some issues with two burners on the stove not working, the safe needing a new battery and the television having a volume problem. I reported the problems late Friday afternoon and within 2 hours everything was repaired and/or replaced. The pool and jacuzzi areas were immaculate and very enjoyable. We hope to stay at Canada House again in the future. It will be our first choice.

When I booked this hotel, nowhere in the description did it mention that this was a separate building located across the street from the main property. My main goal was to spend the weekend by the ocean, but instead I was placed on the second line. The walk to the beach required crossing a busy road, which was disappointing and not what I expected.
