Did have a hot tub and pool and in the beach. The elevators were constantly breaking which was not acceptable on a weekend especially we both have health issues and that was not acceptable to me. Also charged resort fees when they said it was in the price I already paid so the took them off however then took away the benefits of free bikes and $20 back daily if u charge to room for food ect at their restaurant which I had already did which had to go on my credit card I used for a deposit I could have just paid if they hadn’t told me that. Could not get anything back from Expedia either. Really not happy after this trip

The setup of the room was very neat and clean overall. My issue with the room was that there was NO hot water available in the tub area and there needs to be a wider shower curtain so that water does not get on the floor.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast and the beautiful view near the restaurant by the beach.

During our family mini vacation we experienced the uncomfortable matter. On our stay two days in the roll Friday and Saturday the cleaning room service walked in our room well I was taking a shower. My husband was taking my 21-year-old shower and the other bathroom. My sister was sitting in the sofa and the cleaning lady came in his started changing making the beds and cleaning the room like nothing. It is a round 4:45 between the hours of four and five I asked her why she’s inside the room when we’re in the room and she says she had to clean the room because she goes home at a certain time. I was in naked in a towel, and my boy was naked in a towel with my husband. She kept cleaning like if we weren’t in the suite ST experience that I didn’t understand why we had the cleaning lady clean while we were in the room taking showers getting ready to go out to dinner never my entire life. I am 64 my husband 63. My sister is 56. My son is 21 with Disability autism non-thank God he did not understand there was someone in the room while he was getting dressed unbelievable and it was a stranger cause she doesn’t know my son we’re from New Jersey. That’s the only thing I didn’t like now the other one concern issue they cleaned the room I guess because we told the front desk they left the garbage in the kitchen two days. Of course I have to cook something for my son special diet. That’s the expanse other than that the pool, the service on the beach valet service was phenomenal!

The breakfast personnel, in particular, was exceptional—remembering our names and making us feel welcome each morning with a pleasant and accommodating attitude. The food in the restaurant was also a highlight, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals there.
The location was perfect for us, with easy access to both the pool and the beach. Our room was clean and tidy, and we were thrilled to have a small view of the ocean.
Our only minor constructive feedback is regarding the service at the pool bar. While the area was not busy, we found ourselves needing to go to the bar area directly on a couple of occasions as servers walked past without acknowledging us. On one instance, an order was forgotten, which we had to ask for again. We understand that some issues can be seasonal, and it was certainly not the fault of the staff, but it's an area where service could be improved. Overall, we had a fantastic and memorable trip, thanks in large part to the hotel's amazing staff.\"

Third time we have stayed here. The service is impeccable. Especially Nicole at guest services and all the ladies in charge of breakfast each day. Only thing I would like to see done differently is for the pool and hot tub open later. Rooms are great. Beach is easily accessible and employees are warm and very friendly. Anytime your in Pompano Beach it's a must stay!

The pool area and beach area are rather small, but very nice. Still managed to have the feel of a resort.
The staff was all very friendly and personable
The only negative is that (and maybe this is on Expedia?) when I booked it made it look like there was a one time $35 resort fee, but that was applied every day, as well as $35 for parking every day.
Expedia should have been more upfront showing the actual total for the whole day, including this daily $35 resort fee
It is valet only. If you call down for your car ahead of time, the valet works pretty efficiently.

What a quaint upscale feel to a chain hotel experience. The beach view had a private beach entrance. Patio had a cool vibe. Staff was outstanding. The front desk was more than helpful and (Grandma) the breakfast lady had me feeling great every morning. You must check this place out

Nice relaxing stay with a great view, walk up beach property.. The breakfast and $20 food credit from the $35 daily fee is a must.. Because there is nothing in walking distance around it for food etc. or night life so the in-house restaurant and free breakfast is a plus for that reason but they not open everyday(restaurant only)... I did have issues with my T.v and W/D that was broken and leaked everywhere.. but was addressed quickly by staff.

My stay at the Residence Inn was AWESOME!

Ron, Janelle, JC, Daniel, Carlos, Grandma Kat & staff gave me top tier customer service & were welcoming & accommodating.

I stayed in a beautiful studio with a balcony & ocean view.
The suite was clean, cozy, & comfortable...
Including all the amenities I love:
1. full kitchen
2. washing machine & dryer
3. work station & more.

Everyday the friendly cleaning staff made sure I had fresh linen for my bed & clean towels.

There was free breakfast every morning. Throughout the day there was a resteraunt with delicious food & drinks.

The Residence INN location is also minutes away from local food/shopping centers & places to eat.

If you're looking for a beachfront hotel with a pool, jacuzzi, spacious rooms, & lots of amenities... this is the place to book.

The highlight of my stay there was waking up every morning at 6am, sitting on the beach, & watching the sunrise with breathtaking views of the sky & ocean.

Residence INN by Marriott will always be my choice when I come to Pompano Beach, Florida.

Very disappointed with our stay. The room was unsanitary with bugs and severe dust that triggered a health issue. A staff member entered without knocking, and another was asleep at the desk when we needed help. Basic amenities like the sink, TV, phone, and internet didn’t work properly. Definitely not up to Marriott standards — would not return.

This was my first time visiting the Pompano, Florida area, and I truly had an amazing experience. What made my stay even more memorable was the property we chose. I shared with the on-site manager how impressed I was with the level of service and genuine friendliness shown to me and my family.

From the valet and front desk to the pool attendant, beach stand, and breakfast staff—every team member went above and beyond. Having worked in hospitality for over 20 years, I know how much effort it takes to deliver this level of service, and it absolutely deserves recognition.

Pay Attention, just pay attention

The Residence Inn as a Hotel is perfectly fine HOWEVER…
You have to pay $34 a day for an aggressive valet that handles your car far from kind!!
In the few days I’ve stayed I’ve heard some horror stories & so I Sat one day & watched for myself how they speed over speed bumps aggressively and it all made sense why my tire light has come on since my stay.
They are quick to open your door when you pull up at times even when I’m not ready & to even then after they understand I want them to stop trolling me they still stand there!
I Pulled up slowly & he’s walking towards me & im trying to keep a distance indicating I’m not ready yet & so I stop a ways back because I wanted to smooch with my wife & I look back over my shoulder this MF is trying to see through the tint waving hello “mad”
At times I wanna just go sit in my car & they insist on pulling it out.
Once my car is parked why do you still need my key?
My guess is to guarantee the Cash Tip & Key exchange everytime (don’t fall for it)
If they get into an accident in your car while moving it & hopefully not a bad one!
How you gonna explain an accident from someone driving your car that’s not on your policy??
If you’re driving a Rental car then who cares! But your personal car, watch’em!!
We checked out early & ruined our Anniversary/Vacation plans because I refuse to pay $34 a day parking for someone treat my baby with disrespect not to mention it’s a Cadillac.

We booked a 4 day vacation for a celebration only to arrive at a beach that was infested with seaweed. Expedia or the hotel should have a disclaimer advising guests of this problem. Seeing that is solely at this area. We paid extra and booked a beachfront property so we didn’t have to drive to a beach. We drove 5 min in each direction and the beaches were seaweed free. Very inconvenient for us for us to have to displace ourselves everyday.
We also had complained about sleepless nights due to the noisy AC in our room that sounded like a plane engine. Someone came to check it but no resolution

I liked the room, it was spacious and clean, also the view is really good. What I didn't like was the beach; you need to pay for chairs, and it is very high up with an uncomfortable slope to get to the water. Also it is very bad when sargassum seaweed exists, as it is virtually everywhere and not cleaned.

This was our second stay. Affordable, on the beach, ocean view, spacious room. Enjoyed having washer and dryer in our bathroom as well as a kitchenette and balcony. Foldout couch accommodated our 5th person well. Full, hot breakfast. On the city Circuit route to restaurants and local businesses. Quiet location and felt safe.

The breakfast was nice and the landscaping around the resort was beautiful, but the amout of aluminum cans, trash and broken toys I picked up daily on the resorts beach (sand) was awful. The beach is eroded away, I would say its a 15 foot drop. The abount of trash, styrofoam and iguana poop it the pool was a bit disappointing. Some of the staff was amazing, others extremely rude. The most unexpected event was finding out the we were being changed a resort fee of $35 and parking fee of $34 daily and had no clue until we checked out. They dont tell you upfront and the whole expedia (price you see is the price you pay) so not true. Read the very fine print thats provide after you payed for your trip.

Hotel was very roomy and daily cleaning services were great! However, the beach was not so great, too much seaweed and very small sloppy sand areas. The Pompano beach isn’t really what I would prefer. The Deerfield or Boca Raton beaches would be much better! I’d pay a little more and stay near those beaches for a week long family vacation. Also, you need a car there as you can’t really walk to various restaurants. Also, we loved shopping at the Sawgrass outlet and the Miami Design District.

A solid bar, more fruit in better consistency. And need to lower some of the prices on the beverages. And alcohol and some of the food you can go next door and get better prices.
