Our one bedroom unit was very spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and kitchenware. The pool is clean and a swim able length. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable of the area and things to do.

I really liked this hotel, however the person who works nice is not very friendly. I thought it was just over the phone, but he was just as hostile the following night (late in the evening) when my 81yr old mother went to ask him a simple question. The check in staff, and concierge person were both very pleasant, and made up for the poor impression of the previous gentleman. I would still recommend this property.

was informed during check in that my reservation had been “canceled” even though it was showing as an active reservation on Orbitz and Expedia. resort did not try to accommodate me. they claim the reservation was canceled on 3/17 @ 2:38 am although there was not an email or notification of any kind confirming a cancellation. There was no refund processing, if the reservation had indeed been cancelled 2 weeks prior to me arriving and trying to check in. Check in was 3/29. Resort claimed the reservation was cancelled even after calling and confirming the reservation on 3/10, where I agreed and also confirmed a time to check in. Resort was NOT ACCOMMODATING AT ALL even though the issue was clearly on their end. Reached out to the resort on 3/30 and the representative said that they would have manager reach out and as of 4/01/24 I have not received any contact from said manager. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE 0/10

I had a fly infestation and two engineers came to look at it. They treated it with a shop vac only to come back after dinner and find dozens more flies. Finally at 11 pm had to switch rooms. Hotel offered no compensation or apologies. Nothing is around this hotel. High pressure vacation club selling before you can get a room key. Not a pleasant experience

I booked for a 5 night stay and it worked out well. I have not used Expedia in a long time and so was pleased that the booking was seamless. As other reviews have mentioned, it is a timeshare but other than a 10mins sales pitch when you check in, nothing else is required. This was a great place to stay for our family of 5! Our daughters loved the unit and it was so nice to have the full kitchen and access to laundry facilities! The best part of this property however, is actually the sister property across the street. It's definitely a nicer place but you get to use all the amenities without the added price. Our girls LOVED playing all day at the beach. We rented an umbrella and chairs (right at the beach) and enjoyed a fabulous day in the sun. Would stay here again!

I would absolutely recommend this resort. The property was clean and the staff was friendly. The room was spacious and the kitchen was more than big enough. Not sure when it was built or remodeled, but it felt new-ish (furniture, carpet not dated at all). The hotel is across the street from the beach - a very easy 3 minute walk. It was also significantly less expensive than the properties on the beach.
Note that this is a timeshare resort, so be prepared to be asked to listen to a sales presentation. We declined, which was fine.

Exceeded Expectations
We loved our stay. Our 2 bed room was huge and recently renovated. The location is convenient for both Pompano Beach centre and Lauderdale by the sea. The only criticism was the refusal to allow us to add an extra night to arrive a day earlier because we had passed our 'change' deadline, albeit by only a few hours, despite there being availability. After arrival however we did manage to add a day to the end of our stay directly through the resort.

The Santa Barbara was really nice! Although we had seen the pictures we were surprised at how big our rooms were! Bedroom with a king size bed, a big flat screen tv,, a couch,a sliding door to a balcony and a bathroom, and a hit tub! The living room, dining room and kitchen were all open to each other. Dining room table seated 6, living room had another tv, a couch, 3 chairs, 2 sliding doors to another balcony, the kitchen had another full bathroom, full size fridge, stove and dishwasher.
