Clean room with great views of the ocean. Room actually got cleaned during our stay which is a rarity these days. Pool with plenty of chairs overlooking the ocean- best of both worlds! As others have mentioned- the restaurant food options could be better. Food was good but very limited to “elevated” bar food options. Would definitely stay again!

Great location, friendly staff, offered us early checking without additional charge at 11 am. At midnight we found our door lock battery drained and they immediately assigned us a new room and in the morning I g gave us the voucher for 2 free breakfast. Valley parking service is great and inexpensive. Very nice rooms with quality service items and nice bathrooms. Every room has a nice partial ocean view room. Family friendly environment. Would definitely come again as one of the best beach locations near Fort Lauderdale

You pay for a beach front hotel but have to pay for your chair on the beach, pay for the cushion on that seat, and pay for the umbrella on the beach. Staff were friendly. Washroom toilet bowl was acting up and not flushing properly.

They call it partial beach view but it is not really anything. Room size are little smaller for a two bed room and for the price. Rooms with window on the side can have very limited view of ocean that too from balcony but with construction and adjacent high rises - there is no premium experience and reservation do not say it clearly (hotels.com should have more detail explanation). Staff is helpful. Restaurant menu is very limited and quality is ok for vegetarian people but restaurant staff was very courteous and attentive. Location is good and pool is good.

I was here for six nights. This hotel is not as advertised. It is older, dirty, and not what I would consider a resort. Felt more like a beach motel. Room was small, bathroom very small, tv only worked part of the time. I constantly had to ask for wash cloths or towels for our room. The jacuzzi tub was disgusting, with stuff floating in the water. The carpeted hallways in the hotel were dirty, needed a good vacuum. There was always litter on the beach out front of the hotel. We were told to wear our plastic wrist bands the whole time we were here. I can’t imagine anyone trying to sneak into this place, not sure why these are necessary. The amenities listed on the hotel information came with a fee. They add 20% gratuity to all charges at the bar and cafe and I didn’t catch that until my last day; I always tip 20% so I was tipping on top of their gratuity the entire stay (my mistake). The Expedia info says airport transportation is complimentary. When I inquired, I could not get a straight answer and finally had to suck it up and Uber. I was very disappointed in my choice with this hotel. I would pay more for something nicer. I looked into canceling after we arrived the first day. The hotel front desk told me that it has already been paid for through Expedia so they couldn’t offer me anything. It would be nice if Expedia had a way to cancel and book elsewhere when the marketing of a hotel is vastly different from the reality.

The staff was friendly, but the hotel itself is very misleading and feels more like a rundown motel. Within the first three hours, we had to manually adjust things just to get hot water. The room was in poor condition with cracks in the walls, and the toilet water appeared yellow when flushed. Housekeeping was also lacking—no replacement of towels or toilet tissue without multiple calls.

The only positives were the beachfront location and convenient Circuit transportation. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.

The lobby is beautiful and staff is helpful and friendly. The room had a balcony with partial ocean view. We were very happy to be on 9th floor. The pool area is decent. Loved that there was a tiki bar. We didn't enter the pool or hot tub but enjoyed our afternoon laying out next to the oceanfront. Decent spacious room with nice bed, modern tv set, storage, and safe. Plus that balcony view!

The hotel is in a nice location.. the beach access was great and the employees were all nice, however, the room was DISGUSTING. Clumps of hair all over, including in the bedding and hairs on the “clean” towels. The shower had hair in it. The room felt humid/damp despite the air being on 70. There were worn contacts on the floor.. none of us wear contacts. Also the bath rug is not a towel that’s washed and it just felt gross.
The ad says beach chairs are available. It doesn’t say surcharge but everything is for rent. The hotel restaurant automatically ads gratuity on all tabs regardless of party size.

-Didn’t expect to be nickled and dimed for chairs and umbrellas on the beach. The hotels rents those separately for $15/$25 a day.

-There was a drama in one of the rooms on our floor with intoxicated guests yelling at each other/playing loud music in the hallway starting at 11 pm the first night of our stay. That lasted for a couple of hours and security didn’t come to resolve until 1 am.

The room were not clean, I had to call daily to get the room serviced and even when it did get serviced they did the bare minimum! Made the beds! No sheets were changed no bathrooms were cleaned to counters were wiped bone of that!
The pool was the same thing daily issue with towels! Had to wait hours for towls to be available, not enough seating if you’re lutyou get a chair!
Overall the property was nothing like described. Very disappointed.

Overall it was an enjoyable experience. Room service wasn't the best and had to ask several times for toiletry refills and such (because they said they would bring it and then never did). I also was hoping they would clean the room a little better between days. If I had cleaning supplies I would have myself! I have two young kids that make messes. It would be nice if they had a lifeguard or someone supervising the pool. A drunk man almost landed on my son when he decided to fall in the pool. So, maybe not the most kid friendly.

The resort is showing its age. Hallways always had garbage next rooms, and needed a good vacuuming. One of the two elevators were out of commission the entire week. Rooms were cleaned every day but could have been cleaner. Staff was very friendly and attentive when needed.

The property was very nice, I particularly enjoyed the very comfortable bed, which is very important to me.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was spring break, so the pool area was overcrowded, but that’s expected.
Only one elevator was working, so at times it was a bit of a wait to get up to the room.
The valet system worked very well and there’s also a self park option. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again

The place is nice. The pool area is nice. We felt like it nickled and dimed you for everything. If you wanted a pool lounge chair closest to fence to be able to look out while by the pool, you had to pay to rent it. These should have bee included. There were lounge chairs in front of the resort, on the beach, that also had to be rented. The place next door provided those for their guest. With my family of 4, we would have paid $ 60a day to sit by the beach or at the pool looking out at the beach. The cost of the hotel is not worth the price for what you get.

The drinks were ridiculously expensive at the hotel bar and pool bar, 2 drinks $40.

Our room was gross. It was not clean. I cleaned the shower before using it. There was sand on the floor everywhere. Every day. It was never cleaned. The bedding was never changed. There were long hairs all over the bedding. There was unfinished wood framing on the bath door frame. The door squeaked SO loud. There were greasy smudges on the walls and light switches. One elevator was out of service the whole time. Staff wasn’t very polite. I asked for silverware and it never came. I had to go to the lobby and was give a plastic set. The ice room on 5th floor was disgusting.

The hotel location is great. This was a quick girls adult weekend. The hotel had a variety of guests, lots of kids and families. Most clientele were well behaved, no problems for us. Our room was clean, a couple of small things missed but was able to get when I saw housekeeping on our floor. They have a nice light system to signify when you want your room serviced. The reviews about the showers are true. Water does get out of the shower. The hot water issue—-there is a safety button on the knob you need to press and turn towards hot. We had no problems with hot water. The jet skis and rentals are right where the beach is in front so not all that peaceful if you are looking for quiet. We rented beach chairs, two umbrellas and cushions for the entire day 10 hrs $85 total. They use a four wheeler to drag the chairs around and it is very disruptive throughout the day and kicks up sand. The pool deck has free chairs but no umbrellas and has a nice view of the ocean. Pool area was clean. The prices of food and alcohol was an absurd amount. Walkable distance to a grocery is well worth it and there is a refrigerator in room, no microwave. A microwave was available in ice machine room if needed. The gift shop was ridiculously expensive-$6 for chapstick. No coffee available until 8am that you have to buy. They should have free coffee in lobby for the morning. The price reflects the location. I would consider staying again.

If you’re looking for an affordable place, that’s definitely is that. I knew based on the price it wasn’t a five star resort however, some of the things that were advertised is included. We’re actually not like airport shuttle, and any amenities by the pool or ocean.
Most of the staff was pretty great making an enjoyable trip for us however at check-in Mary who checked me in provide provided really no information so I had to keep asking questions about Wi-Fi and how we get towels, etc. That made me feel less welcome, and cared for.
The day before we left, I made a report to the front desk because our air conditioning unit installed in the wall was dripping at night, which was kind of distracting but ultimately was creating puddles on the floor. I called again that night and someone came up right away and although the problem persisted the gentleman that came up cleaned everything up gave us a new rug, etc. because there was just an incredible amount of water. He did a great job.
Unfortunately, that same night we turned the light on overnight in the bathroom to find a cockroach, which was not a great way to end the trip with my son who has done nothing but talk about the cockroach over any of the other activities we did. Haha
Overall, if you’re looking for a good deal, the place was safe, but if you’re looking for a family friendly place with some basic amenities included in the charge, you just might wanna keep looking. This was also a little bit farther off the beaten path

The rooms were remodeled but the balcony was very dirty and the door to exit to the balcony was hard to open. The pool water was very murky, thank God the beach was beautiful and we had to buy an umbrella because they don’t even offer you beach chairs. I was very unhappy to reserve a four star hotel resort to find out it was a three star hotel. I won’t be recommending this hotel to anyone.

One of the few properties in the area that has direct access to the beach, which is the main advantage. Easy walking distance to Lauderdale-by-the-sea and the local grocery store/coffee shop. Rooms were recently updated, and cleaning staff come by daily, but we have stayed in cleaner hotels.
They do charge extra if you want to do mini golf, have a chair on the beach, or an umbrella for shade.

Upon arrival we were told the hotel was completely sold out. I told the concierge that I booked a room 2 weeks ago to which he replied ah yes we have one room left. I asked if it was partial ocean view since that’s what I booked. He told us the rooms are first come first serve it had a view but of the parking lot. It was my daughter’s 20th birthday. That was first disappointment. We went up to the room my daughter entered the bathroom which she couldn’t close the door too because it was rubbing on the frame. She lifted the toilet seat and discovered diahrea all over the seat. It was disgusting. I went to the phone to call downstairs but the phone was dead. I didn’t bother going downstairs but took pics of toilet and door. Room also was very musty and humid. We went downstairs to the ocean side for a few hours then when we came back the ac cooled the room so it was better. The sheets had stains. We flipped them over and just went to sleep. There was also hair around the sink in the bathroom. This was so embarrassing for me since I wanted to treat my family to a nice ocean view hotel. We checked out in the morning and went to the beach. It was the first and the last time we will be staying there. I would like my refund of the key cash we used. My credit card company already refunded us for the stay upon receiving the pictures and our statement.

It is false advertisement when you say Partial Ocean View and the only thing you can see is AC units on the rooftop of the building. Although this is listed as an Expedia VIP hotel, there were zero perks or acknowledgment even though it was noted that this was rented for an anniversary celebration. The Location is good, it is a 20 min walk to Lauderdale by the Sea Bars and restaurants. It is a favorite area of ours

I also think that they should word that there are chairs and umbrellas at no cost on beach they are actually in the pool area. We had to pay $50 for beach chairs and umbrella to be on the beach. Our room was nice and clean. Air conditioning worked great. Had a nice balcony. The front desk staff and valet staff were all very friendly and helpful. Had no issues with any of them. I will definitely stay here again when we visit the area again. Pool was great. Nice and warm, right on the beach. Self parking and valet are 25$ per night which I think self park should be free especially when you’re paying a good amount to stay at the hotel already. The only issue we had was if you wanted a beach chair, a chair cushion, or an umbrella. Everyday you had to pay for it, which adds up pretty quick. A chair is 25$ a day plus 5$ more if you want a cushion on it. And an umbrella is 20$ a day. So for two of us every day it was an extra 50$ for a chair with a cushion and an umbrella for the beach. I just laid on a towel on the sand. I find that a little ridiculous. I can understand the little covered beds by the pool. But the stuff for the beach is crazy. It cost us another 300$ for the week to have a beach umbrella and chair. We could’ve done something pretty fun with that extra $. I think the hotel should change that policy, if you’re staying at the hotel the chairs and umbrellas should be free, first come first serve, and I think self park should also be free. Valet cost is understandable. Other than that. We loved the place, and will come back.

When we got there. People were stuck in the elevator. We were told that happened on the other elevator earlier that day. We stayed for two days and only one elevator was working. The stairs the door was locked and the other set of stairs were closed. It was a fire hazard. Then I used the laundry washed my clothes was told they would have more quarters in the morning. They did not. If you’re going to have those amenities you should have quarters. Also wasn’t a very clean and upkept place

Pretty hotel but getting our room cleaned was difficult, had to constantly call the front desk to have the room serviced.
Only one elevator worked so it was very slow. No coffee shop and the gift shop had very little snacks and drinks to pick from.
Beds were comfortable and it was right on the ocean so that was a big plus.
