We had a nice view of the ocean. The pool, pool deck, and hot tub were fabulous! My 4 star rating was because there was no microwave in our room (they had certain floors that had a microwave by the ice machine) so that was inconvenient. Also they didn't have a table on the balcony so there was no place to put a drink or whatever. The bed was amazing! And everything else was great! I would definitely stay here again!

Huge disappointment! Property was not as clean as I was expecting from online reviews. Elevators not working. Vending machines not working. Advertised mini-golf on site, but they charge $12US for a crappy, not maintained putting green. Air conditioner in our room made loud noises 2/5 nights of our stay to the point we couldn’t sleep at all, and manager offered NO compensation. Lounge chairs around the pool were smashed together so tightly, you couldn’t access from the side. The one on-site restaurant served low quality, expensive food. Would not recommend this property at all.

We just had a 4 night stay at Ocean Sky and from the photos on their website we were really excited to stay. When we arrived our first impression of the lobby was nice but that changed once we got to our room.
The room was very small, our balcony looked over a ventilation system that ran constantly and was loud with a small sliver of ocean view. The balcony was dirty, covered with pigeon poop and very outdated for the cost of stay. Along with the pigeon poop, the air conditioning unit is also on the balcony making a loud noise and leaving a constant trail of water on the ground. Of the 4 nights we stayed our room was serviced 2 times, both times I had to flag down a house keeper to ask for service even though our light was on all day, and we were not in the room all day either. The first time it was serviced the trash wasnt even emptied in the room.

The elevators weren't working properly the whole duration of our stay, there was one working elevator and then the service elevator in the main lobby. One of the days during our stay the elevators in the main lobby quit working completely and only the beach elevator was working at its bare minimum and the stairwell door was locked from the outside and was inaccessible.

The pool was very nice and we enjoyed spending time down there. The jacuzzi and bar at the pool were convenient and appreciated additions. The food and drinks were very over priced and beware gratuity is automatically added onto your bill!

We will not be returning to this property. The biggest issue was the door to our unit. Every time someone walked by — even in the middle of the night — it rattled loudly. It was disruptive enough that we had to wedge the bathroom rug against the door and prop a suitcase in front of it just to get some sleep. That’s not something guests should have to improvise on their own. The beach setup was also disappointing. Many of the beach chairs were in very poor condition, with holes so large you could literally sink through them. If you wanted a top cushion for the chair, it came at an additional charge per chair, which felt excessive given the condition of the loungers. The beach itself was often littered with trash left behind by other guests, and it didn’t appear to be cleaned regularly. The buoys marking the jet ski entrance obstructed the ocean view, and there was a frequent smell of gasoline throughout the day from the watercraft activity, which really took away from the relaxing beach atmosphere.
Service was underwhelming. Staff were not particularly friendly, and basic items like washcloths were surprisingly hard to get. Regular coffee packets in the room were also limited — decaf was readily available, but standard coffee was not consistently restocked.
We also had an issue with a neighboring guest smoking marijuana in their room, which we had to report to management. There was also construction noise from two adjacent properties that went on ALL day.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff was very nice and quick to greet the guests. The concierge assisted us in booking activities and giving us the best food options in the area. Every room has a balcony. We enjoyed sitting out at night listening to the waves. The hotel is not sound proof, so we didn't get the best nights sleep due to the heavy hotel doors slamming shut through the night. We would stay here again though.

We really enjoyed our stay here. My only complaint is the beds were so uncomfortable. There was a few of us staying in different rooms and everyone said the same. The restaurant doesn’t open until 8, which I thought was late, and the pool bar doesn’t open until 11.

The room was clean, but every time we asked for service, we had to chase down the staff for something, no body wash, no bath towels, reg coffee and one day, toilet paper.
The location is perfect.
The pool and deck are lovely.
The hot tub could be hotter and might be nice if it was adults only.
Some literature in the room about the hotel and nearby restaurants would be nice.
The cost to rent chairs on the beach was prohibitive.
Very quiet and the room had everything we needed.

Room was completely neglected. Housekeeping was awful. We could not leave our pool towels out or they would take them ($20 charge at check out for not returning them). Some days they took the used bathroom towels and left no clean ones. Never cleaned. We were there a week. They never cleaned the room. No washcloths even when I asked. Asked the front desk twice for housekeeping/towels and never got any. Our air conditioner was super noisy. Doorbells ringing all night long. It was awful. Do not stay there.

The room was dirty....Had some kind of drink stains on the walls, baseboards all around the room were filthy, big crack in the wall, and worst of all THERE WAS ABOUT A 1/4\"-1/2\" OPENING IN THE CLOSED DOOR! I COULD SEE INTO THE HALLWAY! I spent over 2 hours trying to find another resort in the area to stay at. On top of it all, they refuse to give my deposit back of first night's stay because \"that's their policy\" with cancellations! I argued with them that the cancellation for my stay was because of their neglect to provide me with safety! Didn't matter, no refund! I'll be fighting this til I'm refunded my deposit because of their NEGLECT and no fault of my own for canceling! I assure you, the room's cleanliness is NOT AS RATED on website!!!!

While the hotel does have a few positives — it’s right on the beach, has a large sun deck, and a nice pool bar — the room experience overshadowed everything else.

Our first room was extremely disappointing. The balcony was located right next to the outdoor A/C units, which were very loud and clearly audible inside the room. The balcony was covered in bird droppings, and the “ocean view” was minimal at best. Not worth having a balcony and ocean view room. There were also visible handprints on the wall.

We requested a room change and were moved down the hallway. While the A/C noise was better and the walls were clean, this room had its own issues. There was no heat, and it was 46 degrees outside. The thermostat didn’t work, and we had to shut the unit off at the wall after 30 minutes of messing with it. There was no remote for the TV, and the safe was locked shut. We didn’t discover these problems until 10 p.m. when we returned from dinner. To make matters worse, the room phone didn’t work, which made resolving the issues even more frustrating. The hotel staff rolled her eyes when explained this issues. Nothing was done.

The hotel also would not honor the Expedia VIP perks, including late checkout and a room upgrade. They initially argued about the valet parking perk, though we ultimately did receive it.

The beachfront location and outdoor amenities are nice, but the room conditions and lack of service made this stay not worth the price. There are much better options.

Issues w towels at pool. They need to order about 500 more to meet the demand. Several times we went to replace a towel we got eye rolls and was told to come back they were currently washing them. Pool deck was packed like sardines. No one eats at restaurant and strange that mini golf is on a roof top above the pool area. Should have moved restaurant/bar there. Lounge chairs on beach old.

The staff was very pleasant and easy to work with. The restaurant is very overpriced and the food portions are very small. Most of the beach is a jet ski rental so you get to smell gasoline and jet ski fumes all day not to mention the noise. And if you want a chair on the beach be prepared to stand in line for half an hour and pay $80. You can't sit in the pool area because they have music playing so loud you can't talk to the person sitting next to you. The room was very clean and well kept. The valet parking service was great. The walls were very thin we could hear everything the neighbors were saying.

8th floor suite had very small window (that was filthy) to view ocean.
kitchen and living room were drab and depressing.
no interesting art work to liven up the place.
even being on the beach couldn't sway my mind away from thoughts of being in a Soviet era apartment complex in East Berlin in 1974.
couldn't stand the way the hallway to the elevator smelled.
bedroom ok, bathroom nice.
lobby nice, piano great, morning breakfast on pool deck nice. I had to walk over to the neighboring hotel to get a
proper morning espresso and coffee.

felt ripped off after I left.

The room was not very nice for the price. And the floor was absolutely filthy! I went to wipe up some water and I couldn’t believe the dirt that came up. Always wear shoes. If I could attach a picture I would have the dirt. The water was yellow which was concerning. And they charge 15$ per day per person to use a beach chair. Ridiculous when you are a paying guest.

Staff not very helpful, parking expensive, they give you a card to get pool towels and charge you if you lose them but when you try to get a towel they would tell me to come back in 10 mins. Then for a hard time about wrist bands 3 days in. Mini golf pictures look great online but looks nothing like it now. Five drinks at the bar and only 3 were alcohol $100.

Beautiful location! Pool & beach area was amazing. Restaurant on site needs a revamp & would plan to eat other places, it’s expensive for the mediocre food & service is meh. Rooms were very clean & in good shape except doors are extremely loud closing & could hear them throughout evening. Resort is within walking distance of restaurants, shops, etc. Very safe neighborhood to walk around. I def will be back!!

The hotel was beautiful and nice partial view from our balcony of the ocean. Staff was excellent and helpful. The rental equipment stand was a rip off and their equipment was old and broken, exception of jet skiis which were fun. Boogie boards were garbage and the beach chairs were in bad shape. My son got quite a gash on his leg from the broken metal sticking out of the chair. The miniature golf was a waste of time, they charged a fortune and it was like playing in a nuclear wasteland. Dont waste your time or your money. I can't believe they charge for that at all. Breakfast was included, was mediocre but please somebody take the time to clean the tips of the mustard and ketchup bottles daily. They were gross. Our waitress was pleasant and friendly. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Dull tiki bar during the week, it closes at 9 pm. No music and food was ok and expensive for all meals. Still liked it and would return.

A perfect hidden gem of a hotel!! Location, amenities and comfort all in one. Ocean view from most rooms, amazing clean hot tub and pool, gym, business center, gift shop, restaurant, comfortable beds and superb friendly prompt staff. Very clean hotel. Jetskis. Kayaks ( available for rent) putt putt. Beach towels provided for use, no charge. This is our 4th stay. We absolutely have no complaints and love it here! Will return. Keep up the great job Ocean Sky!!💙

The hotel was pretty good. Didn’t like that it had construction going on and I was not told beforehand. Also parking is $25 per day. The good is that every step I had contact with were very nice and accommodating. Would I stay here again probably not. Maybe the price was lower. Not worth what I paid over 200 a night.

The hotel is advertised as a beach resort with lounge chairs and umbrellas for guests. However the beach in front of the hotel was reserved by an independent jet ski rental business. They did rent lounge chairs ($20) and umbrellas at $15 more but those had to be set up adjacent to the jet skis with all the fumes. When we discussed this with the manager on duty, she was rude and dismissive.

The room was OK but the bathroom was very cramped. Bumped my head on the glass shower wall on entering! The toilet tissue was the cheapest, lowest quality I have ever seen.

The included breakfasts were limited in scope and also very poor quality.

All in all, a very disappointing stay.

The main desk staff was rude.Went to reserved room and it wasn’t cleaned. Was assigned two queens instead of a king with large a/c unit to view instead of ocean.The air conditioner in room didn’t work.Too much noise with doors slamming and thin walls. I would not recommend this hotel.

Housekeeping was was very sub-par! We had 2 double beds that were slept in every night, and they only made one of them every single night. They didn't clean the room or empty trash. The water was yellow, so we had to buy bottled water at a ridiculous price to make coffee, and then the coffee creamer was so old that it was a rock. We returned to our room exhausted from a long day on our last night to a room with no towels! They took the dirty ones and didn't leave any! We had to be up at 3:30am and were over it! The concierge only recommended the very expensive Italian restaurant next door and didn't offer any other guidance about other places to eat. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because it had a hot tub, but we never got to use it, because it was always full and it was closed at dusk. Absolutely a disappointing stay to say the least!
