Room and amenities were very good. When we first arrived there was an excellent staff member at the front desk on the evening shift (12/29), However there was one staff member at the front desk in the early mornings who was always very angry and used inappropriate language. He also was annoyed when asked about where we could find beaches with lifeguards on duty. I avoided the front desk if he was present.

Loved the location and the amenities of the hotel. Walkable area, close to the beach, restaurants and bars. Quiet area next to Intracoastal waterway and the hop on-hop off water taxi. Breakfast was not to our liking. Prepackaged food to heat in the microwave. Coffee was good and there was cereal and fruit with yogurt. Can’t go wrong with a bagel or toast. It was adequate.

I booked this hotel because of the breakfast which I had experience with but they were renovating the restaurant so they had to relocate the breakfast to the bar area and options were very limite. Everything was in plastic wraps (premade waffles, sausage sandwich, etc) that you had to reheat in a microwave or toaster. There were bagels and bread. The breakfast was lacking a lot of basic foods like eggs, fresh sausages, bacon, etc that are essential in a hotel breakfast especially at the residence inn where it is expected.

Other than that, I was quite disappointed by the service. We were not greeted at check-in, the person behind the counter didn’t even say hi, just asked for my ID and a CC.

The room was fine and the bed was comfortable. The floors and rooms are a bit outdated especially the bathroom.

The deck area on the intercostal is nice, but again quite outdated and a bit dirty.

I spent the weekend at this hotel for my partner’s birthday. Overall, we had a great experience. The hotel staff was helpful, welcoming, and friendly, specifically Alfredo and Jay.

Convenient location - There were many nearby restaurants, bars/billiards, and coffee shops to choose from. We ate at Colombian Mountains Cafe and Bohemian Latin Grill - both were within short walking distance & had delicious food and exceptional service.

Hotel was clean; however, the pool can use a little maintenance.

Complimentary breakfast was very simple, mostly consisting of “on-the-go” breakfast sandwiches and waffles. Also, a bit crowded. I felt like the breakfast fell a little short of expectations compared to other complimentary breakfasts that I’ve had at other Marriot locations.

Overall, would recommend others to stay here.

The convenience of laundry option and a safe in the the room, great after hour food recommendation from the kind and welcoming front desk staff, down to the courtesy call when my package was deliver! I rate our experience “20” out of 10!!! GREAT place to stay!

Several things in the room were not working, including coffee maker, microwave and ceiling fan. Handle on the patio door was falling off, we fixed it as good as we could to make do. Breakfast was the same every day for the 5 days we stayed there, sausage was the only meat choice.

The hot water was finicky so my husband and I both took cold showers several times and there were dogs in the dining room two days in a row at the breakfast buffet (one that was continuously barking).
And I don’t know if it is the layout of the hotel or if we just had extremely rude neighbors but it was very loud. Doors always slamming and people congregating in the halls talking loudly. We could also hear the people in the room next to us talking loudly. There was an undesirable spot on our bedding but fortunately there was a washing machine in the room (one of the few good points) so I washed it myself. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

The hotel is great when traveling with kids. The rooms are like a mini apartment with a full kitchen and even washer and dryer. The kitchen has all the utensils. The complimentary breakfast is quite extensive with hot and cold food, yougurts, cereals, waffles, pancakes, bread, scramble and hard boiled eggs, breakfast roasted potatoes, patties and sausages, fruits, juice, milk, coffe , among other things. The location is privileged within walking distance to the beach, Walgreens, a grocery store, a gas station if you are in need of any supplies. Also very nice restaurants are a a few steps away from the hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating

We stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn for five nights at the end of August and really enjoyed our time. The location is very convenient and accessible to all parts of Fort Lauderdale, with plenty of restaurants nearby for both dining in or quick takeout.

The hotel offers a great breakfast with lots of choices, and the in-room laundry plus kitchenette made it especially comfortable for a family stay. Our room had a beautiful west-facing view of the Intracoastal Waterway, which was lovely both in the morning and afternoon.

The atmosphere felt more like home than a busy hotel, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The only downside is valet-only parking at $40 per night, but aside from that, everything was excellent.

Highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Fort Lauderdale!

The staff was extremely accommodating. They really went out of their way to find us a room when we left the cuisse early in the morning and had no where else to go. My friends stayed at another hotel and had to crash on the lobby couch for 4 hours while I slept like a baby in my room (I had a sofa bed and offered to let them stay, but they insisted it would be ready shortly). Great team!

Stayed here for almost a week in a half, overall wasn’t a bad experience. Just I expected to be closer walking distance to the beach. Which the beach is close but only access is for the resort hotels so technically no access. My room also barely got cleaned while I stayed there for a long period. One cleaning my bed was only folded but the sheets weren’t changed at all- I noticed because I sleep with socks on and they were still in the sheets. Coffee supplies were also not replaced so rushed job. Breakfast wasn’t bad but no variety - the same thing everyday. I usually always stay in hotels for work and I know it’s usually a standard breakfast but usually been in hotels that rotate options. On my last few days, there were also a couple events taking place and this caused a lot of crowds in many of the common areas , lobby , and breakfast dining area. Kids were running around and just bumping into various areas as it seems an event was for a child , while I understand the hotel is kid friendly I was traveling for work and expected more of a quiet environment. I didn’t know the hotel served as an events place as well and that it would interfere with common areas of regular guests.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The only downside was my room was not ready at check in. However, I went to the pool area while I waited and that was lovely. I had dinner at a nearby restaurant that was less than a 10 minute walk. Breakfast in the morning was great just no OJ. These were minor things. If was really nice, the room was clean. I'd recommend it!

This hotel has all the things I was looking for, close to the airport and shopping destinations, beach across the street and marina to the back the views are perfect from either side. I loved watching the yatchs go by while having breakfast under palm trees. The hotel is very clean and the rooms very spacious. The staff was wonderful. The only down side was sometimes there was only one person at the front desk and he seemed overwhelmed. Other than that I enjoyed my stay and will be back soon.
