This is the perfect room for a lovely stay downtown. It is not too far from restaurants or the pier. It is a very clean room and the staff are excellent. The hotel itself is a bit run down, but it has a San Francisco charm and the room itself is comfortable.

Broken furniture in room. Shower missing one of the doors. All soap dishes were snapped off the walls and holes remained. Bathroom floor was dirty under the vanity and around the parameters of the room. Kitchenette with no dishes, cups, or utensils. No dish soap or dish towels. Linens were poor quality. Pillows smelled musty. The AC was turned off in our room when we got there. It was extremely hot and took several hours to cool. Needless to say, we did not have a comfortable sleep that night.

The staff were very courteous and helpful, however when booking it appeared that there was a restaurant and bar, there is not. The hotel itself probably used to be quite nice but it’s run down and in serious need of renovation. It seems clean, but with baseboards falling off it makes it look kind of grungy. It was only one night, and given the relative price, I’d still say it was worth it. The location is convenient.

The room could definitely use an update. Holes being patched in the wall but not finished, the tv had very little options. We don’t understand the shower door because it looks like it was designed not to close all the way, so the floor gets wet. But the most frustrating part was the kitchenette that had nothing included. A sink, but no microwave or dishes, so it was basically useless. The room did have a fridge, working air conditioner, was clean, and the proximity to the airport and town were great.

Staff, Tea, was wonderful ‼️. But she would NOT replace soap and hand drying towels in your main bathroom?! Room was nice as was cleanliness and towels. Keep getting knocked off internet and almost had to beg for more coffee. But we did enjoy our stay. Wish we could have checked in a bit earlier!

One night in Pape’ete

We chose this hotel for a one night stay after a cruise. It was a “budget” hotel close to the wharf. We had a room where the AC was broken, and they moved us to a new room right away. The breakfast was nice and served very efficiently by great Tahitian staff.
Not a bad place to stay for one night.

Unfortunately the room i paid for with a queen bed was not given. The hotel attendant who greeted us on the 20th of October said we had to pay more even though i paid initially upon booking. He was not helpful, he put us in a room by the emergency staircase where the staff would stand outside a look into our room especially at night. The lock on the window in our room was broken making it easy for someone to gain access. The room shower and sink were damaged. What was meant to be an amazing bitthday trip turned into a big disappointment. The bed sheets were not changed at all, the smell on the sheets initially was stale and lipstick marks were visable on the pillow cases. I was very upset that our room was changed and my initial room at booking was not given. Strange men and women kept standing on the emergency staircase looking in which made us feel very unsafe and hotel staff were disinterested in all our dealings.

Staff friendly and helpful. Although it was only on the last morning that I got a clear answer about the breakfast availability.
Convenient location but not a great area. Luckily we had a room with a good view but the room itself was shabby, paint marked and peeling, floorboards loose and floor slopped. Shower didn't have hot water consistently. Wifi consistent and bed comfy. Is definitely a place to only spend a night or two before further travel.

Location is 10 min walk to downtown Papeete. Rooms are a bit dated but clean and staff is welcoming. We only stayed the one night but it's within walking distance to Hotel Kontiki which has a restaurant and across the street is a store that sells individual drinks and snacks as well as supplies in bulk. Short walking distance to the wharf.

There was nothing around the hotel.and nothing to do there. The hotel needed an update. Our balcony was restricted with the large air-conditioning units. However, our room was large with a sink, and kept very tidy with replaced toiletries and water. The staff were so friendly, kind, and helpful, which made so much difference to our stay.

The staff was friendly and professional. They were helpful with restaurants selection for the area as well as booking taxi for airport transfer. The hotel is a bit dated. However, it is a great place to stay for pre cruise or pro cruise stay since it is only a short distance from the cruise port and the airport.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The facility is older but the rooms are large and adequate. The airconditioning and draperies (completely dark) were excellent. Very clean floors, white linens, bathroom. This was perfect for my needs. However, the location is on the edge of the port/tourist area of Papeete so it's a 10 minute walk to the central area for shops and eateries. There was no balcony or swimming pool which are not expected at this price point.

Not the most comfortable choice due to area it is in. Being an old hospital converted into accomodation makes it a bit spooky. We booked this hotel for the proximity to the port for our cruise. The floors were noisy. Our bathroom had one shower door that covered a quarter of the distance. Breakfast was limited but good. My bed was so comfy, but the other one in the room was not.

Also room very dark and only had two bedside lamps and one light by door. Definitely needs a lamp in room as could hardly see anything in room such as going through suitcase after dark. Staying in a different room last visit there was a lamp.

Our stay was exceptional. Worth every cent. We also knew what we were getting into… yes, an overwater bungalow does come with a cost, but it’s the experience you’re paying for. Whether it’s on your bucket list, you like to walk out your door and into the water to snorkel, the views, the privacy, it’s all worth it.

Our first floor room was absolutely horrible. The shower head was caked in mold/mildew and I saw 3 cockroaches hiding in the shower and drain. The hotel staff moved us to a third room floor, which was slightly better. No cockroaches, but the bed linens were clearly used before with hair and dirt under the top sheet. Spend a little more and go anywhere else but here.

Worked for our day-use needs.

Stayed in Moorea all week and came over to Tahiti on the ferry. We booked room for same day stay for a few hours while waiting for a 11:30 pm flight out of Fa’a,a International Airport. Good place to rest, take a shower, check emails and catch up with the world waiting to fly back to CA. Fridge and A/C worked great. Hotel close to the ferry terminal.
Room does needs a bit of updating, some of the broken furniture needs replacement and updating. The room worked well for our day use needs while waiting for our flight, we did not stay overnight.

This is a very disorganized , tired, old hotel charging excessively high rates for sub standard amenities and services. Maximizing $ return from awkward airline schedules and lack of competition. One staff member particulaly abbrasive and unhelpful at checkin and when towels were requested this is a basic expectation . Water pressure was pathetic , shower was basically a trickle. Avoid if you can.
