The room had a great view. Unfortunately it wasn’t ready until after three and I arrived at 7 am. The only air conditioned space available to me was the ladies room. It was hot and humid and made for an excessively uncomfortable wait after 26 hours of travel.

The resort was stunning. Fabulous location and views. Our room was clean, and suitable for staying a few nights. Limited drawers, hangers. Food was EXPENSIVE and we do not feel it was good value for the money. Service was inconsistent... depending on the wait staff.
Overall the staff was very friendly spoke English and very accomodating. Would rate this higher if the food was priced better, meaning I think $75.00 CA per person Monday to Saturday and $105. pp on Sunday buffet. If you want to eat alacarte you need to order room service or grab something premade at a counter.
Room service 3 egg omlette with toast + pancakes with a fruit sald + 2 coffee was $85. CA. Yes, hot, and came very quickly, but add 17 for delivery and tip and it adds up pretty quick.

Worst resort we've stayed at... air conditioner would not work. Room was above 25C the entire stay, at times, close to 28C. Tried to have them fix it 3 times, and then tried to have them move us, and each time was a failure. Unfriendly front desk staff. Food at the resort is overpriced and underwhelming. No benefits for being a gold HH member. On checkout day, we were told we could use the lounge to prepare for our evening flight at 10pm, and they made us wait until the person who originally told us about the lounge availability was working because the other staff didnt want to deal with us. For $450/night, I expected much much better. Save your money, or better yet, spend your money elsewhere.

Wonderful transition back to civilization after being on a catamaran for a week with just the six of us. Beautiful setting, luxurious appointments, etc. We did have a challenge with our breakfast the morning of our departure. We were boarding a plane very early and the staff took our breakfast orders very diligently, making sure they accommodated food allergies, etc, but when we went to check out thst morning, they didn't even have our names on the list for people who wanted a \"to go\" breakfast. It was super frustrating, but we had to get to the airport, so couldn't wait to have one made for us.

Food prices were exorbitant compare to any hotel in the area plus quality was terrible.
No Calvary menu for breakfast.
The hotel bill was messed up. Two seperate bill , one for room and another for food. Some room charges were added to room charges.
Even room order included service fees on top of higher food prices.
I will not recommend any to stay at Hilton as they just want to make money on any thing you ask and no good service and excessive and multiple hidden charges.
I like to ask for refund for bad services.

We ate breakfast on our day of arrival, it was a specialty Sunday breakfast which cost approximately $90 USD per person. The quality was mediocre. In the survey, we were asked if we enjoyed our free breakfast. We have no knowledge of a free breakfast being available to us so we cannot comment on that.

The Hilton Hotel Tahiti was truly magical. The property itself is like a piece of art, it must have been recently renovated. At every turn there is handmade wood artwork, from the tables, to the walls, it’s a true Polynesian feel.

The location is great, near the airport, and easy parking if you rent a car.

Every staff member we came across was very friendly and made us feel at home.

The pool is large and gorgeous, with great food and drink options available.

We used the gym a few times as well which was pretty good for a hotel gym.

We stayed 6 nights in a grand balcony room, which was very spacious and it was nice having a large private deck with a view.

The restaurants are amazing. The food and drinks are not cheap, but it’s a fine dining experience. We didn’t try the breakfast buffet as it was expensive, instead we opted for the breakfast sandwiches in the lobby bar which was great. The cocktails in the lobby bar were very good.

I have an allergy to all nuts, and they took it very seriously which was nice.

Highly recommend this hotel, if we ever make it back to Tahiti we will stay here again.

This is a beautiful transit hotel, meaning it is not a destination but a wonderful place to recover from long travel before moving on to the more sedate and glamorous islands of French Polynesia. The pool is as great as any resort I have visited, and I travel a lot. The rooms are huge. The staff is friendly from check in to check out. The connection to the mall via a direct bridge from The Hilton lobby is a huge plus. There is a wonderful French bakery in the mall within a five minute walk from the lobby. There is a grocery store and pharmacy and food court there as well. Also a nice, casual French restaurant. The Hilton’s drink and dining options are varied, but the prices are quite high, as expected, so the mall offers alternatives. We did find the Hilton’s Japanese restaurant to offer extraordinary sushi, albeit in a rather bland setting with staggering costs. You get what you pay for. In summary, I would stay here for a night or two before moving on to other islands or a cruise. The cost from the airport is about $20 US, and to the cruise port about the same. Again, the pool is a healer after extended travel.

Spa staff were Exceptional/Terrific from the woman who met me at the front desk to the massage therapist !! Also towel shack area at pool were very kind & attentive. Swim up pool bar, there was no one available to take a drink order, waited for 30 minutes and the Strawberry Margarita was awful (very bitter). They made another one, but it was still bad. I didn't drink it, but did pay for it.

Not what I expected for $600 a night. Room couch was stained. We had an older room, was told it was because we booked via Expedia not thru the hotel. Frustrating for a Hilton rewards member.

Dining options were overpriced and took forever, expect to pay $35 for a basic burger and $25 and up for any cocktail. Only reception speaks good English. Only great thing is the pool. What a disappointment. Next time I will be staying elsewhere.

Stayed 8 nights at the Hilton in September 25 and felt I made a great choice. Longer than most who stay but a luxurious base for me to visit Moorea via ferry on 2 separate day trips. I walked to the ferry in 20 minutes as an active man in his late 50s. Restaurant choices are excellent in house and breakfast was outstanding with a Polynesian music group to greet you most mornings.The standard of the rooms,pool and bar area was most definitely 5 star in my view.

The room was very tired. Floors were scuffed.But the most disappointing part was the lack of service. The staff were not very helpful. The bar served drinks that were not good, the cocktail(dirty coco) tasted like ice water. A hotel with a nightly cost of $700+ felt like a mediocre motel. Take your business elsewhere.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days for the first part of our honeymoon before heading to Bora Bora, and it was perfect! The property is located close to the airport, ferry terminal and shopping district, and right on the water. I loved enjoying breakfast or supper sitting looking out over the ocean and watching all the fish swimming right below us. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable and had an amazing view looking over the ocean. The food was great, especially at the sushi restaurant! There was also regular entertainment and beautiful live music in the morning, which was so nice to listen to while sipping my cappuccino and planning our events for the day.
